Abstract

ABSTRACT: FACTORS RELATED TO THE WORK PRODUCTIVITY OF HEALTH WORKERS AT THE TULANG BAWANG I HEALTH CENTER IN TULANG BAWANG REGENCY  Introduction: Based on data from the electric health information system (SIKDA) it is known that Puskesmas Tulang Bawang I, input data produced in 2017 were 27 reports, in 2018 there were 316 reports. At the 2017 Penawar Jaya Community Health Center there were 656 reports and in 2018 there were 788 reports, from the data reports it was seen that the Tulang Bawang I Health Center did not report activities to the fullest.Objective: known factors related to the work productivity of health workers at the Tulang Bawang I Health Center in Tulang Bawang Regency in 2019.Method: Type of quantitative research, research design with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all health workers at the Tulang Bawang I Health Center in Tulang Bawang Regency with a sample of 63 people. There are two variables in this study, namely: Independent variables: motivation, work discipline and work ethic. The dependent variable in this study is work productivity. Analysis of data by univariate (frequency distribution) and bivariate using the chi square test.Results: It is known that respondents with good work productivity as many as 34 (54.0%) respondents, poor work discipline as many as 36 (57.1%) respondents, good motivation as much as 50 (50%) respondents, and good work ethic as many as 39 (61.9 %) respondents. There is a relationship between work discipline and work productivity of health workers (p-value = 0,000 OR 20,800). There is a correlation between motivation and work productivity of health workers (p-value = 0.005 OR 9.778). There is a relationship between work ethic and work productivity of health workers (p-value = 0.020 OR 4,000). Suggestions provide opportunities for employees to express ideas and innovations in the process of progress of the hospital by looking at the rules that apply in the hospital. Key Word:  work productivity, work discipline, motivation, work ethic   INTISARI: FAKTOR – FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA TENAGA KESEHATAN DI PUSKESMAS TULANG BAWANG I KABUPATEN TULANG BAWANG  Pendahuluan: Berdasarkan data sistem informasi kesehatan daera (SIKDA) elektrik diketahui bahwa Puskesmas Tulang Bawang I, input data yang dihasilkan tahun 2017 sebanyak 27 laporan, di tahun 2018 sebanyak 316 laporan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh petugas kesehatan  di Puskesmas Tulang Bawang I Kabupaten Tulang Bawang dengan sampel 63 orang. Variabel dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu: Variabel independen: motivasi, disiplin kerja dan etos kerja. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah produktivitas kerja. Analisa data secara univariat (distribusi frekuensi) dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi square.Hasil Penelitian : Diketahui responden dengan produktivitas kerja baik sebanyak 34 (54,0%) responden, disiplin kerja kurang baik sebanyak 36 (57,1%) responden, motivasi baik sebanyak 50 (50%) responden, dan etos kerja baik sebanyak 39 (61,9%) responden. Ada hubungan disiplin kerja dengan produktivitas kerja tenaga kesehatan (p-value = 0,000 OR 20,800). Ada hubungan motivasi dengan produktivitas kerja tenaga kesehatan ( p-value = 0,005 OR 9,778). Ada hubungan etos kerja dengan produktivitas kerja tenaga kesehatan (p-value = 0,020 OR 4,000). Saran memberikan kesempatan pada pegawai untuk mengungkapkan ide dan inovasi dalam proses kemajuan rumah sakit dengan memandang aturan yang berlaku di rumah sakit. Kata kunci    : produktivitas kerja, disiplin kerja, motivasi, etos kerja

Abstract

ABSTRACT : THE RELATIONSHIP KNOWLEDGE AND NURSING COMMUNICATION WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PATIENT RECOVERY PLANNING INPATIENT RSUD ZAINAL ABIDIN PAGARALAM WAY KANAN 2018 Background: In Indonesia, as many as (61%) nurses in Yogyakarta do not undertake home planning. In addition, research conducted in Bandung showed that as many (54%) nurses did not carry out the planning home. In Lampung Province, especially in Zainal Abidin Pagaralam Way Kanan Hospital, based on observation of the list of outgoing patients, not all nurses write home plans for the patients. Only 32 list (25%) of the 128 list of information have been made back home (Medical Record of RSUD Zainal Abidin Pagaralam Right Way, 2017).Purpose: To know the relationship of knowladge and  nurse communication with the implementation of planning to go home in hospital room of Zainal Abidin Pagaralam Hospital Right Way of Year 2018.Methods: The type of this research is quantitative, the design in this study used the design of Analytic Survey with cross sectional approach, the number of population and the sample of 72 people, the sample technique in this study is the total sampling. The research will be conducted at RSUD Zainal Abidin Pagaralam Way Kanan Year 2018, with questionnaire research instrument and statistic test using chi-square test.Results: In this research, it was found that 38 (73,7%) were not good enough and 10 (26,3%) were good implementation with p-value (0,001) and 37 respondents had bad communication obtained 28 (75,7%) the implementation is not good and 9 (24,3%) the implementation is good with p-value (0.000).Conclusion: There is a Significant Relation Between Nursing Knowledge and Communication With Implementation of Planning Home in the Inpatient Room of Zainal Abidin Pagaralam Hospital Right Way of Year 2018. Abstract

Introduction: sharp medical waste is not only able to cause scratch and stab wounds but also to infect wounds when they are contaminated by pathogen. A pre-survey result done by the researcher in wards of dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo at 20 January 2019 to 10 nurses concerning activities of nursing care and medicla waste management including needle, syringe, and bandage that were disposed without sorting.Objective: the objective of this research was to find out the correlations of nurse’s motivation and leadership style to nurse’s behavior in sharp medical waste disposal in dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo public hospital in Bandar Lampung. Method: this was a quantitative analytic survey research by using cross sectional approach and it was conducted in dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo public hospital from March to April 2019. Population was all nurses and samples were of total sampling. Data were collected by using questionnaires and analyzed by using univariate (frequency distribution) and bivariate (chi square test) analyses.Result: there were 31 respondents (54.4%) with poor medical waste littering behavior, 34 respondents (59.6%) with low motivation, and 29 respondents (50.9%) with bad leadership style. There were correlations of nurse’s behavior (p-value 0.000; OR 11.70) and leadership style (p-value 0.012: OR 4.725) to sharp medical waste disposal in dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo public hospital in Bandar Lampung in 2019. Conclusion: there were correlations of nurse’s motivation and leadership style to nurse’s behavior in littering sharp medical waste in dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo public hospital in Bandar Lampung in 2019. Abstract

ABSTRACT : RELATIONSHIP OF NURSE ROLE AS EDUCATOR AND MOTIVATOR WITH COMPLIANCE OF DRUG DRUG TB PATIENTS IN POLYCLINIC MDR HOUSE REGIONAL GENERAL ILLNESS Dr. H. ABDUL MOELOEK PROVINCE LAMPUNG Background : Lung Tuberculosis (Pulmonary TB) is one of the top 10 causes of death worldwide. Based on the results of the data it is known that in Lampung Province which has an MDR clinic only at the Regional General Hospital Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek, where the number of people suspected of drug resistant TB is 143 people. Waiting for 1 person to start treatment and 85 people for confirmation in treatment.Purpose : It is known the relationship of the role of nurses as educators and motivators with adherence to taking medication for TB patients at the MDR Polyclinic of the Regional General Hospital Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province in 2019.Methods : This research is a quantitative study, with a cross sectional type of research. Sampling by purposive sampling is based on the criteria desired by the researcher. Retrieving data using questionnaires distributed to respondents. The research was conducted in June - July 2019.Result : : It is known that some respondents were obedient in taking medication, as many as 42 (70.0%) respondents and most of them were not obedient in taking medicine, which was as many as 18 (30.0%) respondents. It was known by some respondents that the role of officers was a supportive motivator, as many as 36 (60.0%) respondents and most of the roles of officers were motivators who did not support, as many as 24 (40.0%) respondents. There is a relationship between the role of nurses as educators with adherence to taking medication for TB patients (p-value 0.011 OR 5.688). There is a relationship between the role of nurses as motivators with adherence to taking medication for TB patients (p-value 0.002 OR 7.327). Suggestions for providing education and counseling to the community regarding adherence to drinking oaru TB.Conclusion: there is a relationship between the role of nurses as educators and motivators of medication adherence in TB sufferers in Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province in 2019. Suggestions from researchers are expected to be more specific nurses in providing information about TB package drugs and nurses should also improve the quality of service to patients and provide motivation so that patients are motivated in their recovery. ABDUL MOELOEK PROVINSI LAMPUNG  Pendahuluan: Penyakit Tuberkulosis Paru (TB Paru) merupakan salah satu dari 10 penyebab utama kematian di seluruh dunia.  Berdasarkan hasil data diketahui bahwa di Provinsi Lampung yang memiliki klinik MDR hanya di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr H. Abdul Moeloek, dimana  jumlah penderita terduga TB resisten obat sebesar 143 orang. Menunggu mulai pengobatan sebanyak 1 orang dan konfirmasi dalam pengobatan  sebanyak 85 orang.  Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan peran perawat sebagai edukator dan motivator dengan kepatuhan minum obat penderita TB di Poliklinik MDR Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr H. Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung Tahun 2019.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian cros sectional. Pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling yaitu berdasarkan kriteria yang diinginkan oleh peneliti. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan ke responden. Penelitian telah dilakukan bulan Juli 2019.Hasil: Diketahui sebagian responden patuh minum obat, yaitu sebanyak 42 (70,0%) responden dan sebagian besar tidak patuh minum obat, yaitu sebanyak 18 (30,0%) responden. Ada hubungan peran perawat sebagai edukator dengan kepatuhan minum obat penderita TB (p-value 0,011 OR 5,688). Ada hubungan peran perawat sebagai motivator dengan kepatuhan minum obat penderita TB (p-value 0,002 OR 7,327). Saran memberikan edukasi dan penyuluhan terhadap masyarakat mengenai kepatuhan minum oabat TB Paru.Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara peran perawat sebagai educator dan motivator terhadap kepatuhan minum obat pada penderita TB di RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung tahun 2019. Saran dari peneliti diharapkan perawat lebih spesifik dalam memberikan informasi mengenai obat paket TB dan perawat juga harus meningkatkan mutu pelayanan kepada pasien dan memberikan motivasi agar pasien termotivasi dalam kesembuhannya.  Kata kunci     : peran perawat, edukator, motivator, kepatuhan, tuberkulosis

Abstract

ABSTRACT: EFFECT OF GINGER WITH SELLING MEDICAL AND EVEN THOUGHT IN PREGNANT WOMAN TRIMESTER I IN PUBLIC HEALTH  SUKARAME BANDAR LAMPUNG CITY  Introduction: Data from the Provincial Health Office of Lampung that the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum in 2015-2016 is 385 people from 2093 pregnant women. Based on Lampung Province Health Profile in 2016 the high incidence of emesis gravidarum in pregnant women is 50-90%, while hyperemesis gravidarum reaches 10-15% in Lampung Province from the number of pregnant women there are as many as 186,319 people. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of  Ginger with the incidence of nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women in public health sukarame Bandar Lampung City in 2018.Objective: It is know the effect of ginger extract consumption on first trimester pregnant women in reducing nausea and vomiting in public health sukarame Bandar Lampung city in 2019.Method: Quantitative research, quasi experimental design. The population was all pregnant women trimester 1 was 98. Samples was 30 women. Independent variable ginger extract. Dependent variable nausea vomiting in Pregnant Women. Data analysis was done by univariate (mean) and bivariate (t-test).Result: The results of the study found the average value of nausea and vomiting before given ginger extract is 13 times. The average value of nausea and vomiting after given ginger extract is 9 times. Effect of decreased nausea and vomiting in pregnant women trimester I (t-test> t arithmetic, p-value <0.05). (T-test 13,135, p-value <0,05) with difference of decrease of value average 3 times. It is expected that pregnant women do not forget to consume drugs to reduce nausea and vomiting given. It is necessary to conduct an activity by health personnel such as counseling about the benefits of ginger extract, early detection of danger signs in young pregnancies, and others. Variabel independen ekstrak jahe. Variabel dependen mual muntah pada Ibu Hamil.Hasil: Hasil Penelitian didapati rata-rata nilai mual dan muntah sebelum diberikan ekstrak jahe adalah 13 kali. Rata-rata nilai mual dan muntah setelah diberikan ekstrak jahe adalah 9 kali. Ada Pengaruh penurunan mual dan muntah pada ibu hamil trimester I (t-test > t hitung, p–value < 0,05). (t-test 13,135,p–value < 0,05) dengan selisih penurunan nilai rata-rata 3 kali. Diharapkan ibu hamil tidak lupa untuk mengkonsumsi obat untuk mengurangi mual dan muntah yang diberikan. Perlu diadakan suatu kegiatan oleh tenaga kesehatan seperti penyuluhan tentang manfaat ektrak jahe, pendeteksian secara dini tanda bahaya pada kehamilan muda, dan lain-lain. Kegiatan yang berjalan (posyandu) harus lebih ditingkatkan sehingga mampu mengontrol kesehatan ibu terlebih kepada ibu hamil. Kata kunci : ektrak jahe, mual muntah ibu hamil.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Achievement of standard growth monitoring activities in infants aged 0-59 months; ≥ 8 times in the last 12 months, in 2007 it was 45.4%, in 2013 it was 44.6% and in 2018 it was 54.6% (Kemenkes RI, 2018). Posyandu visit coverage is below the target of Sukarame Health Center by 60.4%, and is the puskesmas with the lowest D / s coverage in Bandar Lampung City. Kader acts as the spearhead of monitoring the growth of toddlers in the region where he lives, so the level of knowledge and skills of cadres becomes very important. To find out the relationship of knowledge and attitude of cadres towards the role of cadres in the community in the Working Area of Sukarame Health Center bandar Lampung City in 2020. A type of quantitative research, using a cross sectional approach. The population in this study is the entire cadre of Posyandu in the Sukarame Health Center Working Area of Bandar Lampung City numbering 160 people. A sample of 115 respondents. Using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques are done using quesioners. The statistical test used is the chi square test. Respondents with bad knowledge are as many as 35 respondents (54.7%), positive attitudes that are as many as 36 respondents (56.3%), bad roles that are as many as 34 respondents (53.1%). There is a knowledge relationship to the role of cadres in society. There is a relationship of attitudes towards the role of cadres in the community in the Sukarame Health Center Working Area of Bandar Lampung City in 2020. Cakupan kunjungan Posyandu di bawah target yaitu Puskesmas Sukarame sebesar 60,4%, dan merupakan puskesmas dengan cakupan D/s terendah di Kota Bandar Lampung. Kader berperan sebagai ujung tombak dari pemantauan  pertumbuhan balita di wilayah tempat ia tinggal, sehingga  tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader menjadi hal yang sangat penting. Untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap kader terhadap peran kader dalam masyarakat di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sukarame Kota Bandar Lampung  Tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif, menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh kader Posyandu di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sukarame Kota Bandar Lampung berjumlah 160 orang. Sampel 115 responden. Dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan  menggunakan quesioner. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi square. Responden dengan pengetahuan tidak baik yaitu sebanyak 35 responden (54.7%), sikap positif yaitu sebanyak 36 responden (56.3%), peran tidak baik yaitu sebanyak 34 responden (53,1%). Ada hubungan pengetahuan terhadap peran kader dalam masyarakat. Ada hubungan sikap terhadap peran kader dalam masyarakat di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sukarame Kota Bandar Lampung Tahun 2020. Abstract

ABSTRACT: RELATIONSHIP OF HANDWASHING COMPLIANCE AND NURSE PPE USE WITH RISK OF HEALTHCARE ASSOCIATED INFECTIONS (HAIS) DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AT RSUD MAYJEN H.M. RYACUDU NORTH LAMPUNG Introduction: Infection is the invasion of the body by a pathogen or microorganism, which can cause disease or tissue damage. A hospital infection or hospital-acquired infection (HOIS) or healthcare-associated infection (HAIS) is an infection acquired during a patient's hospital stay, provided that the incubation period of the disease has not occurred at the time of admission. Objective: It is known that there is a relationship between handwashing compliance and the use of PPE for nurses with the risk of healthcare-associated infections (HAIS) during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Mayjend. H.M Ryacudu Hospital, North Lampung in 2021. Methods : The type of research used in this study is related to the descriptive nature with a cross sectional research design. The subjects of this study were all obstetrical, pediatric (perinatal and NICU) nurses, operating rooms and internal medicine at Mayjend.H.M Ryacudu Hospital, North Lampung. The number of samples used as many as 60 respondents.Results: The statistical test of nurses' compliance with the chi-square in handwashing obtained a p-value of 0.033 where the p-value < (0.033 < 0.05) then Ha, and the Odds Ration value was accepted at 0.314. By using the chi-square statistical test for nurses who use PPE, the p-value is 0.241, so the p-value < (0.241 > 0.05) and Ho is rejected, and the Odds ration value is 0.519.Conclusion: There is a relationship between handwashing compliance with the risk of health-related infections (HAIS), and there is no relationship between the use of PPE by nurses and the risk of healthcare-associated infections (HAIS) at the Mayjend H.M Ryacudu Hospital, North Lampung. Keywords: Compliance with handwashing, use of APD, HAIS      INTISARI : HUBUNGAN KEPATUHAN CUCI TANGAN DAN PENGGUNAAN APD PERAWAT DENGAN RESIKO KEJADIAN HEALTHCARE ASSOCIATED INFECTIONS (HAIS) PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI RSUD MAYJEND. Infeksi rumah sakit atau infeksi yang didapat di rumah sakit (HOIS) atau infeksi terkait perawatan kesehatan (HAIS) adalah infeksi yang diperoleh selama pasien dirawat di rumah sakit, asalkan masa inkubasi penyakit belum berlangsung pada saat masuk. Tujuan : Diketahui hubungan kepatuhan cuci tangan dan penggunaan APD perawat dengan resiko kejadian healthcare associated infections (HAIS) pada masa pandemi covid-19 di RSUD Mayjend.H.M Ryacudu Lampung Utara.Metode : Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan sifat deskriptif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat obstetri, anak (perinatal dan NICU), kamar operasi dan penyakit dalam di RSUD Mayjend.H.M Ryacudu Lampung Utara. Jumlah sample yang dipakai sebanyak 60 responden.Hasil : Uji statistik kepatuhan perawat terhadap chi-square dalam cuci tangan diperoleh nilai p sebesar 0,033 dimana nilai p < α (0,033 < 0,05) kemudian Ha, dan nilai Oods Ration diterima sebesar 0,314. Dengan menggunakan uji statistik chi-square perawat yang menggunakan APD didapatkan nilai p-value 0,241, sehingga nilai p-value < α (0,241 > 0,05) dan Ho ditolak, serta nilai Oods ration sebesar 0,519.Kesimpulan : Memiliki hubungan antara kepatuhan cuci tangan dengan risiko infeksi terkait kesehatan (HAIS), serta tidak ada hubungan antara penggunaan APD oleh perawat dengan risiko healthcare associated infections (HAIS) pada RSUD mayjend H.M Ryacudu Lampung Utara. Kata Kunci : Kepatuhan cuci tangan, penggunaan APD, HAIS

Abstract

ABSTRACT Preliminary data from 15 patients found that 10 respondents (66.7%) were dissatisfied with the availability of service facilities at RSUD Dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo, the patient said that if the nurse performed the infusion change and release the infusion without carrying a tray, the nurse would only bring a bowl and a container of alcohol cotton. In addition, patients also complain of hard patient beds, uncomfortable linens/sheets. Then 5 other respondents (33.3%) were satisfied with the facilities provided by the Hospital, including the availability of clean bathrooms, the availability of litter boxes, good ventilation and lighting. To determine the relationship between the facility and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of RSUD Dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Bandar Lampung. This type of research uses quantitative, the research design uses a survey with a cross sectional approach. P The population in this study were clients who were hospitalized in Room E4 RSUD DR. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Bandar Lampung City in November as many as 320 respondents. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Univariate and bivariate data analysis The sample in this study used the slovin formula so that a sample of 178 respondents was obtained. This research was conducted in July 2023. Data analysis used the univariate and bivariate tests using the chi square test. Most of the respondents stated that the facilities were in the good category, 91 respondents (51.1%). Most of the respondents stated patient satisfaction in the satisfied category as many as 100 respondents (56.2%). The results of data analysis using the chi square test obtained a p-value = 0.000 (<α 0.05), which means that there is a relationship between facilities and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of RSUD Dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Bandar Lampung. P Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah klien yang melakukan rawat inap di Ruang E4 RSUD DR. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Kota Bandar Lampung pada bulan November sebanyak 320 responden.  Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling.  Analisa data univariat dan bivariat Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus slovin sehingga didapat sampel 178 responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli tahun 2023. Analisa data menggunakan uji univariate dan bivariate menggunakan uji chi square. Sebagian besar responden menyatakan fasilitas dengan kategori baik sebanyak 91 responden (51,1%). Sebagian besar responden menyatakan kepuasan pasien dengan kategori puas sebanyak 100 responden (56,2%). Hasil analisa data menggunakan uji chi square didapat nilai p-value = 0.000 (< α 0,05) yang artinya ada hubungan fasilitas dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien di ruang rawat inap RSUD Dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Bandar Lampung. Abstract

ABSTRACT Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) are a major problem faced by hospitals. HAIs are infections that are acquired and develop during hospitalization. One of the management functions is organizing, where the head of the room should develop an objective nursing organization so as to facilitate nurses in carrying out nursing care, especially infection prevention and control efforts. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between leadership and efforts to prevent menstruation during the Covid 19 pandemic at Zainal Abidin Hospital Pagar Alam Way Kanan in 2021. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all health workers at Zainal Abidin Hospital Pagar Alam Way Kanan in 2021 as many as 164 people with a sample of 87 respondents using purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted at Zainal Abidin Hospital Pagar Alam Way Kanan in February-March 2021. Data collection used a questionnaire. Data analysis was univariate and bivariate (chi square). it is known that respondents with negative leadership are 17 (19.5%) and respondents with positive leadership are 70 (80.5%) and respondents with good menstruation prevention efforts are 44 (50.6%) and respondents with less menstrual bleeding prevention efforts good as many as 43 (49.4%). There is a relationship between leadership and efforts to prevent menstruation during the covid 19 pandemic at Zainal Abidin Hospital Pagar Alam Way Kanan in 2021 with a value (p-value = 0.003). Suggestion: for the hospital to be able to make efforts to prevent Healthcare Associated Infection (Hais) in accordance with the existing SOPs in order to avoid an increase in the incidence of nosocomial infections in hospitals, such as removing watches or jewelry when taking action, always wearing a mask and wearing gloves, apply hand washing. Keywords: Leadership and Healthcare Associated Infection (Hais), Covid-19  ABSTRAK Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) merupakan masalah besar yang dihadapi rumah sakit. HAIs adalah infeksi yang didapatkan dan berkembang selama pasien dirawat di rumah sakit. Salah satu fungsi manajemen adalah pengorganisasian, dimana kepala ruang hendaknya mengembangkan organisasi keperawatan secara objektif sehingga memudahkan perawat dalam melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan khususnya upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi. Tujuan penelitian ini diketahui hubungan kepemimpinan dengan upaya pencegahan Hais Pada Masa Pandemi Covid 19 Di Rumah Sakit Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam Way Kanan Tahun 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh tenaga kesehatan di Rumah Sakit Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam Way Kanan tahun 2021 sebanyak 164 orang dengan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 87 responden menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam Way Kanan pada Februari-Maret 2021. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data secara univariat dan bivariat (chi square). Diketahui responden dengan kepemimpinan negatif sebanyak 17 (19,5%) dan responden dengan kepemimpinan positif sebanyak 70 (80,5%) dan responden dengan upaya pencegahan hais baik sebanyak 44 (50,6%) dan responden dengan upaya pencegahan hais kurang baik sebanyak 43 (49,4%). Ada hubungan kepemimpinan dengan upaya pencegahan hais pada masa pandemi covid 19 di Rumah Sakit Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam Way Kanan tahun 2021 dengan nilai (p-value = 0,003). Saran : bagi pihak rumah sakit agar dapat melakukan upaya pencegahan Healthcare Associated Infection (Hais) sesuai dengan SOP yang ada guna menghindari peningkatan angka kejadian infeksi nosocomial dirumah sakit, seperti melepaskan jam tangan atau perhiasan saat melakukan tindakan, selalu menggunakan masker dan menggunakan sarung tangan, menerapkan cuci tangan Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan dan Healthcare Associated Infection (Hais), Covid-19
