Abstract

The awareness of consuming halal products is an important issue for Muslim consumers today. So that producers are obliged to guarantee the halalness of the products they produce. Product halalness aims to provide protection for Muslim consumers around the world, as well as a strategy to face the challenges of globalization with the implementation of a free market system within the framework of ASEAN-AFTA, NAFTA, the European Economic Community, and the International Trade Organization (World Trade Organization). Even the international trade system has long recognized halal provisions in CODEX which are supported by influential international organizations including WHO, FAO, and WTO. The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center (RISSC) report entitled The Muslim 500 2023 edition shows that the Muslim population in Indonesia reaches 237.55 million. This number is the largest in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries, as well as globally. The Muslim population in Indonesia is equivalent to 86.7% of the total population in Indonesia. This makes Indonesia's position very favorable, especially as the world's largest market in terms of consumption of the halal industry, such as fashion products, cosmetics, medicines, and the tourism sector. With the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia is certainly an opportunity for world producers to expand their distribution channels to Indonesia. The opportunity for the development of the halal industry has certainly become a big dream for Indonesia, with all its natural wealth and cultural diversity, Indonesia should be able to compete with the industrial quality of halal industry exporting countries in other countries. The trend of halal lifestyle has grown globally. Many countries in different parts of the world are trying to implement the halal system in their daily lives. Most Muslims agree that they should always choose halal products in accordance with Islamic sharia. However, there is a unique fact that the concept of halal lifestyle is not only applied by Muslims who are often synonymous with halal choices. The halal lifestyle has also been followed by non-Muslim consumers who are becoming aware of halal products (Rezai et al., 2012). Although the halal concept has not become the main element among non-Muslim consumer choices, factors such as geographical location, education level, and income are the basis for non-Muslim consumers to consume halal products (Teng et al., 2013). Halal lifestyle or often called halal lifestyle has actually become a common thing for the community, both in Indonesia and in other countries, even though it is not a Muslim country. The development of digital technology makes it easy for people to learn and explore the benefits of a halal lifestyle. Halal lifestyle is a person's lifestyle that can determine behavior in making a decision regarding something that is required, permitted, or prohibited according to Islamic law. So, halal is not only related to food, but also involves discussions related to other aspects of human life. Halal lifestyle is also said to be a person's right and good way of life by following the principles of sharia and the main provisions regarding something halal and haram. The word halal is a word derived from Arabic which has meaning in the interpretation of the Qur'an, namely everything that has been permitted and permitted by sharia. In this case, sharia explains the existence of an order of life and all restrictions are clear in consuming food and drink, and regulates the attitude as a human being in carrying out his personal and social life and muamalah (Bahatma, 2021). Halal lifestyle is now a prerequisite for fulfilling needs. In other words, a halal lifestyle means a person's attitude and lifestyle in daily activities (activities, interests, opinions) in accordance with sharia principles (based on the Qur'an and Hadith) (Yetty & Priyatno, 2021). According to the Islamic Judicial Halal Trust (MJCHT), a halal lifestyle is an action that is carried out honestly, correctly, with integrity, dignity and fairness, in accordance with individual abilities, and does not deviate from Islamic law (Z. Sari et al., 2022). Therefore, with this sharia lifestyle, Muslims will prefer products and use sharia-compliant services that comply with Islamic norms. In addition, the halal lifestyle has elements of health, safety, welfare, and human dignity. In other words, the sharia lifestyle is not intended to provide any prohibitions or restrictions. Rather, it is used to reintroduce the values of Islamic teachings that are Rahmatan Lil'Alamin.

Abstract

The phenomenon of turnover intention, or employees’ intention to leave their organization, has become a critical issue in modern human resource management, particularly among Generation Z who are increasingly dominating the workforce. This generation is characterized as dynamic, critical, and strongly oriented toward achieving balance between personal and professional life. High turnover intention has significant negative implications for organizations, including increased recruitment and training costs as well as decreased overall productivity. One factor influencing turnover intention is mental health, as employees’ psychological well-being greatly affects their loyalty and job satisfaction. Another important factor is emotional intelligence, which refers to the ability to recognize, regulate, and manage one’s own emotions as well as the emotions of others, thereby enabling employees to adapt to workplace pressures and conflicts more effectively. This study aims to analyze the influence of mental health and emotional intelligence on turnover intention among Generation Z employees. This research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach, involving 100 respondents who are alumni of Dharma Andalas University, categorized as Generation Z, and currently employed. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, while data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results revealed that: (1) mental health has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, (2) emotional intelligence has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, and (3) mental health and emotional intelligence simultaneously exert a significant effect on turnover intention. These findings suggest that the better the employees’ mental health and the higher their emotional intelligence, the lower their intention to leave their current organization. This study provides practical implications for organizations, emphasizing the importance of providing mental health support programs such as employee wellness initiatives, as well as emotional intelligence training and development programs to reduce turnover intention among Generation Z employees.

Abstract

This study examines the comparison of the financial performance of PT BRI Tbk with PT BCA Tbk in 2021-2024. The study was conducted using the RGEC method. The method used in this study is a comparative qualitative approach. The data source used by the researcher is a secondary data source using the BEI data collection technique. Hypothesis testing used in this study is the Mann Witney-U analysis of IBM SPSS 23 Statistics. The results of the tests that have been carried out indicate that (1) Risk Profile (NPL) Components. Both BRI and BCA have Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratios that fall into the healthy to very healthy category. However, BCA consistently shows a lower NPL ratio than BRI during the 2021-2024 period, which indicates that BCA's credit risk management is more effective in maintaining the quality of productive assets. (2) Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Components. BRI excels in GCG implementation because it actively participates in external assessments from independent institutions such as CGPI by IICG and SWA Magazine, and obtained a high score (95.31) and the award of “The Most Trusted Company” in 2024. Meanwhile, BCA only conducts self-assessment without actively participating in external evaluations, even though its GCG reporting is carried out routinely and systematically. (3) Earnings Component (ROA). The profitability performance of both banks is classified as very healthy, with BCA's ROA consistently higher than BRI's. This indicates that BCA is more efficient in managing its assets to generate profits, reflecting optimal operational and digitalization strategies. (4) Capital Component (CAR). Both banks demonstrate a very strong level of capitalization with a CAR ratio above 24%. BRI has a slightly higher CAR ratio than BCA, indicating that BRI has a larger capital buffer to cover potential risks, although the trend is slightly decreasing from year to year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan, gaya hidup hedonisme, dan perilaku konsumtif terhadap pengelolaan keuangan pribadi mahasiswa Generasi Z. Objek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Dharma Andalas angkatan 2021, 2022, dan 2023. Fenomena meningkatnya pola hidup konsumtif dan gaya hidup hedonis di kalangan mahasiswa, serta pentingnya literasi keuangan dalam pengelolaan keuangan menjadi dasar dilaksanakannya penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 194 mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, literasi keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan pribadi mahasiswa. Gaya hidup hedonisme dan perilaku konsumtif masing-masing berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan pribadi. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan pribadi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kesadaran pentingnya literasi keuangan dan pengendalian gaya hidup konsumtif demi pengelolaan keuangan yang lebih sehat di kalangan mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the link between investor sentiment, volatility, and Bitcoin return. Connections between the three are extremely intricate and diverse. Increasing search activity on Google Trends may presage a price increase, but it can also indicate heightened speculative sentiment or information saturation, potentially resulting in a price reduction. Volatility, while frequently seen negatively, may have a beneficial impact on Bitcoin's earnings by attracting risk-tolerant investors, stimulating trading activity, and facilitating hedging and arbitrage. However, volatility carries considerable risks, discouraging risk-averse investors, impeding institutional adoption, and impeding the practical use of Bitcoin as a means of exchange. Finally, the influence of SVI on investor mood and the volatility of Bitcoin returns is determined by a number of factors, including market sentiment, legislative changes, and technological advancements. As Bitcoin and its ecosystem continue to evolve, the nature of these interactions may shift.

Abstract

Upaya promosi dan preventif tentang infeksi saluran reproduksi dan penyakit menular seksual hanya sebagian dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan, termasuk di lapas perempuan sama sekali tidaka ada dilakukan, dan kebutuhan personal hygiene saat menstruasi tidak tersedia di lapas untuk semua wanita subur, tapi hanya dikhususkan untuk ibu nifas saja. Narapidana WUS tidak mendapatkan edukasi rutin tentang kesehatan reproduksi khususnya tentang personal hygiene. Personal hygiene yang buruk saat menstruasi dapat menyebabkan berbagai keluhan pada kesehatanreproduksi perempuan, seperti mengalami keputihan, infeksi saluran kemih, dan infeksi pada daerah reproduksi perempuan seperti vulva, vagina, maupun serviks dan HIV. Tindakan pencegahan yang bisa dilakukan yaitu dengan menjaga personal hygiene daerah vagina ada menjaga kebersihan selama haid termasuk jenis pembalut yang digunakan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada peserta lapas wanita dalam memahami pentinya kesehatan dan menjaga kesehatan reproduksi dan mencegah penyakit menular seksual serta mampu berkarya meskipun dalam lapas dengan menghasilkan pembalut yang bersih dan hygine hingga mampu menggunakan Marketplace untuk kebutuhan penjualan. Tahapan kegiatan pengabdian dimulai dengan edukasi kesehata, screning HIV dan pemeriksaan IVA tes serta memberikan memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan, serta melakukan pendampingan dalam marketing. Adapun hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa seluruh responden merasakan kebermanfaatan program melalui peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam memelihara kesehatan sampai bisa menghasilkan dan produksi sendiri.
