Abstract

Kementerian Kesehatan telah mencanangkan beberapa program terkait pengembangan kesehatantradisional melalui teknologi tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) yaitu saintifikasi jamu, asuhan mandiri(selfcare), serta perawatan herbal dan terapi tradisional akupresur yang bertujuan untukmeningkatkan akses dan keterjangkauan masyarakat terhadap obat-obatan. Peran keluarga sebagaigarda terdepan dalam upaya PHC membuat ibu/istri sebagai sosok yang berperan penting dalamkesehatan keluarga yang diharapkan akan membawa perubahan ke komunitas kecil di sekitarnyadan perlahan diterapkan ke dalam komunitas yang lebih besar dan beragam. Kader Posyandu yangsehari-harinya berinteraksi dalam mendampingi ibu dalam membangun kesehatan keluarga jugamenjadi sosok yang berperan dalam program asuhan mandiri keluarga yang telah dicanangkanpemerintah. Lingkungan Bendega merupakan salah satu lingkungan yang ada di Kelurahan TanjungKarang Kecamatan Sekarbela, Kota Mataram Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Lingkungan tersebutmerupakan lingkungan binaan kesehatan ibu dan anak dari Universitas Bhakti Kencana PSDKUMataram, IBI Tanjung Karang dan Puskesmas Tanjung Karang. Sebelumnya, telah dilakukanpengabdian masyarakat dengan mengangkat sosialisasi pembuatan vertical garden TOGA dilingkungan tersebut. Selama ini belum ada program khusus tentang TOGA ataupun pembentukankader TOGA di lingkungan Bendega. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat kali ini adalahuntuk melakukan perekrutan kader TOGA pada mitra, sosialisasi tupoksi kader serta meningkatkanpengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengolah jenis TOGA yang secara ilmiah berfungsimencegah COVID-19. Metode pelaksanaan: persiapan, sosialisasi, evaluasi dan dokumentasi.Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring dan luring. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, didapatkanbahwa mitra telah mendapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang TOGA danpemanfaatannya. Selain itu, telah dibentuk organisasi Kader TOGA di lingkungan Bendega yangberfungsi mengembangkan TOGA di lingkungan Bendega.  Kata kunci : Bendega, COVID-19, herbal, istri, kader, TOGA.

Abstract

More than 9,606 plant species have medicinal properties, but only around 3-4% of these have been cultivated commercially and used in traditional medicine in Indonesia. One of the natural ingredients believed to have properties is the white temu rhizome. White Curcuma rhizomes are usually processed into food and drinks. White ginger rhizome has antioxidant activity. Antioxidants are secondary metabolites found in herbal plants and have pharmacological activities that can minimize free radicals. Several studies have shown that white ginger rhizomes have antioxidant activities that can remove free radicals. This research aims to formulate an effervescent granule preparation. for white temu rhizome extract (Curcuma zedoaria (Christm.) Roscoe) using the wet granulation method, which meets the requirements for the physical properties of granules and has antioxidant activity. Several formulae were selected from various combinations. Next, an evaluation was performed to determine the physical properties and activities of the formulated granules. The evaluation results showed that all formulations met the requirements of the physical properties of the granules. Qualitative antioxidant activity testing using TLC plates showed positive antioxidant results in the extract and effervescent granule preparation of white curcuma rhizome extract and in quantitative testing it was found that the IC50 value of white curcuma rhizome extract was in the strong category and in the effervescent granule preparation of white curcuma rhizome extract, the granules were found to be in the strong category. Abstract

To prepare sweet corn probiotic beverage (Yoghurt) will be required Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus. The purpose of the is research is to produce probiotic beverage (Yoghurt) containing sweet corn base on the Indonesia National Standard (SNI), which has the antimicrobial activity and a good taste and a good preparations that can be accepted by society. The evaluation used were the analysis of antimicrobial activity and Indonesia National Standard (SNI) for analysis of sweet corn extract which includes water content analysis, total sugar analysis, and the ash content analysis. Meanwhile, the sweet corn probiotic beverage (Yoghurt) evaluation were analysis of lactic acid level, pH, viscosity, total LAB, protein, levels of fats, fondness, and total sugar. While Hedonic test showed the best formula was formula II (25% of the sweet corn), with 0,78% of lactic acid, pH 3,85, viscosity 236,7 cP, total LAB 10,0 × 107 cfu/mL, 4,467% protein, 2,12% fats, 13,42% total sugar. While antimicrobial activity towards Salmonella typhi was 9,567 mm ± 0,65. Thus, it can be cloncuded than the product complied with the requirments of Indonesia National Standard (SNI) except for the fats content.

Abstract

The most widely used vitamin A derivative for mild to severe acne is tretinoin. However, it is lipophilic (LogP 6.3). Tretinoin must be transformed into liquid lipids and NLC (nanostructured lipid carriers) based on Apifil® and stabilized by surfactants to address permeability and stability concerns. Heat homogenization and sonication with a sonicator probe were used to formulate tretinoin into NLC. Apifil®, Myritol®, and Chremophore® RH 40 were the materials utilized. Particle size, polydispersity index, zeta potential, adsorption effectiveness, and morphological measurements were then used to describe NLC. The characterization results showed that NLC tretinoin has a particle size of <200 nm for 2 measurements over 30 days, a polydispersity index value of 0.5, a zeta potential range of -7 mV to -19.3 mV, and an efficiency entrapment value of >80% for all formulas. Spherical shape emerged from the morphology data. Conclusion: The findings demonstrate that tretinoin's nanostructured lipid carriers provide favorable characterization outcomes. Keywords: Diabetes, Metformin HCl, Extended release, Direct compressed,                     Hypromellose, Carboxymethylcellulose natrium.

Abstract

Alopesia androgenetik adalah bentuk kebotakan yang umum terjadi pada pria dan wanita, dipicu oleh faktor genetik dan hormonal, terutama dihidrotestosteron (DHT). Minoksidil dan finasterid adalah terapi yang paling sering direkomendasikan untuk mengatasi alopecia androgenetik; namun, pengobatan ini sering kali menghasilkan efek samping dermatologis, termasuk iritasi kulit, ruam, dan dermatitis kontak. Selain itu, metode pengobatan konvensional memiliki keterbatasan dalam penetrasi kulit dan efektivitas optimal. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sistem penghantaran obat yang lebih efektif, seperti Nanostructured Lipid Carriers (NLC). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi NLC sebagai sistem penghantaran obat inovatif untuk alopecia androgenetik. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan literatur yang diperoleh dari platform seperti Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, dan PubMed. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dan dikelola menggunakan Mendeley® untuk tujuan referensi. Temuan dari literatur menunjukkan bahwa NLC dapat meningkatkan penetrasi obat ke dalam folikel rambut, meningkatkan retensi obat di kulit, dan mengurangi efek samping. Temuan ini menegaskan potensi NLC sebagai sistem penghantaran obat yang menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan respons terapeutik dalam mengobati alopecia dan berbagai kondisi kulit lainnya.
