Abstract

The high level of business competition in this current globalization requires companies to produce quality products. Among the efforts of product improvement is through understanding consumer preferences. This study aims to identify consumer preferences of several attribute combinations of goat milk branded Bumiku Hijau, Yogyakarta. Conjoint analysis with pairwise-comparison was employed in this study. The combination of attributes analyzed were price, flavor variant, types of milk, and packaging. Results showed that the best combination results were obtained on stimuli number 13 with a total usability value of 3.709, which was 0.356 on the product price. The chocolate flavor variant attributes to the largest total usability value of 0.166. Based on the type of milk, the total usability value of powdered milk (skim) is 0.073, and the highest usability value was obtained through carton packaging (200gr) of 0.077. Consumers favored powdered goat milk products with new flavor variants that suit teenagers and adults. They also want 100 gr product packaging as it is easier to measure and consume.

Abstract

Marketing using digital products is one way to do marketing through social media that uses the internet. The purpose of this study was to determine the interest of tape makers in the use of digital products and the factors that influence them. The sampling method used the survey method and obtained 45 respondents of tape makers on the scale of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Banjarsari Village, Ngajum District, Malang Regency. The descriptive analysis method is used to analyze the interest of tape makers in the use of digital products. While Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis is used to analyze the factors that influence the interest of tape makers in digital products. The results showed that tape makers have an interest in digital products in marketing tape. However, tape makers are not interested in applying or using digital information products in marketing tape. This is due to several factors that influence significantly, including advances in information technology, the ability of tape makers, environment, competition, and capital.

Abstract

This study was aims to 1) determine the amount of shallot farming income, 2) analyze the risk of production and income of shallot farming. The location of the research was purposively conducted. The type of data is primary data obtained from 80 samples farmers in the study area. Farming analysis was applied to knowing shallot farming income. Furthermore, coefficient of variation (CV) was applied to knowing the risk of production and income. The results showed that R/C ratio as many as 2.11. With that result, it can be said that shallot farming in Malang Regency is feasible. The level of production risk is 37.54% and the level of risk income is 40%. It can be concluded that the risk of production and income of shallot farming during the dry season in Malang Regency is included in the low category.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the exchange rate and its affecting factors of plasma cane farmers in PTPN XI. This research involved 95 farming land cane farmers and 95 moor land cane farmers. The concept on this research are the concept of subsistence and multiple linear regression analysis method. The result showed, the exchange rate of plasma cane farmers of PTPN XI is 90.87% while that of moor land plasma cane farmers is 90.01%. This means that the average welfare status of cane farmers can be said to be not prosperous. Factors increasing the plasma cane farmers’ exchange rate on farming land are cane farm productivity, land area and rendement of cane, while on dry land are land area and the yield of sugarcane. On the other hand, factors descreasing the plasma cane farmers’ exchange rate on farming land are farmer’s experience, price of seed, price of inorganic fertilizer and price of labor, while on dry land are number of family members and cost of labor. The government needs to raise the Highest Retail Price of sugar. Government programs to support the production facility incentive in sugarcane farming activities are required, intended to decrease the production cost of sugarcane and provide motivation to improve the FER of plasma sugarcane. Agricultural intensification efforts are conducted by adding the inputs that are able to increase the FER.

Abstract

The purpose of community service is to provide production-packaging facilities for products, and providing marketing materials for corn silk herbal tea products on a micro-scale. The service is carried out offline (related to pandemic conditions) through stages 1) providing production and packaging facilities, 2) product regulation socialization, 3) product production and packaging training, 4) micro-scale marketing presentations. The service results include the availability of tea-making equipment, increasing the ability of the community to produce and package corn silk teabags, strategic understanding of micro scale marketing, and understanding the flow and requirements for submitting product regulations at the Health Office. Therefore, the service can operate sustainably with consistent production, regulatory requirements, and microscale sales practices as a superior regional product: corn silk antioxidant herbal tea.

Abstract

Pemerintah mencanangkan program “One Village, One Product” untuk mendorong setiap desa memiliki produk penciri daerah. Produk penciri daerah tersebut bisa dikemas menjadi usaha ekonomi kreatif dengan mengutamakan ide dan pengetahuan dari sumber daya manusia sebagai faktor produksi yang utama. Kondisi inilah yang mendorong masyarakat Desa Sragi, Kabupaten Blitar untuk memiliki produk penciri daerah dari potensi sumber daya alam setempat. Permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat Desa Sragi antara lain kurangnya wawasan dan keterampilan tentang produk potensi daerah, pemasaran, serta pengajuan regulasi. Pengabdian terdiri atas : pemberian wawasan dan demo produksi, pendampingan pemberian wawasan pemasaran dan perizinan, serta pendampingan uji coba skala kecil produksi. Pendampingan produksi skala kecil, pemasaran, dan perizinan kepada masyarakat Desa Sragi, Kabupaten Blitar menghasilkan peningkatan wawasan dan pemahaman mengenai langkah awal untuk membuat teh herbal antioksidan rambut jagung. Masyarakat Desa sragi telah mengetahui metode pembuatan teh yang tepat dari awal, titik kritis berupa suhu, lama, dan alat pengering yang optimal, serta packaging sampai menjadi teh celup. Hasil uji coba skala kecil menunjukkan bahwa produk teh tersebut berpotensi diklaim memiliki aktivitas antioksidan. Pendampingan pemasaran merencanakan strategi peningkatan nilai ekonomis produk teh dari aktivitas antioksidan yang dimiliki. Langkah selanjutnya adalah persiapan pengajuan perizinan ke depkes untuk memperoleh SPP-PIRT

Abstract

Desa Sragi Kabupaten Blitar memiliki usaha rintisan penciri daerah yaitu, teh celup rambut jagung. Usaha tersebut masih berupa rintisan awal sehingga membutuhkan adanya pendampingan studi kelayakan usaha untuk memberikan gambaran pasti terkait prospek di masa mendatang. Urgensi dari pendampingan usaha juga dipengaruhi kondisi pandemi yang berdampak pada perubahan prioritas alokasi dana desa. Pendampingan bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman terkait teori dasar, urgensi, dan juga aplikasi dari analisis studi kelayakan usaha dari teh celup rambut jagung. Pendampingan dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui kondisi terkait sebagai pijakan penentuan strategis pemasaran melalui penyesuaian terhadap pandemik. Pendampingan berupa studi analisis kelayakan usaha melalui penyediaan modul yang dilengkapi dengan perhitungan excel dan pelatihan analisis kelayakan usaha secara luring terbatas untuk pihak BUMDES Desa Sragi. Hasil pendampingan yaitu data perhitungan meliputi harga jual, persentase keuntungan, waktu untuk balik modal dan keuntungan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa usaha rintisan ini layak untuk dijalankan. Pelatihan juga mampu meningkatkan pemahaman BUMDES terkait studi kelayakan usaha.

Abstract

Inovasi teknologi E-rice detector merupakan aplikasi mobile yang dapat membantu petani dalam mendeteksi penyakit padi berbasis kecerdasan buatan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat adopsi petani padi organik di Desa Sulek terhadap inovasi teknologi, serta hubungan antara minat petani dengan tingkat adopsi petani terhadap inovasi teknologi aplikasi mobile E-rice detector. Pemilihan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) di Desa Sulek. Responden ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dimana responden harus memenuhi beberapa kriteria agar dapat dijadikan sampel. Penelitian berlangsung pada bulan Desember 2021 dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 30 responden. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara serta penyebaran kuesioner terstruktur. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan analisis pemodelan persamaan struktural (SEM) metode partial least square (PLS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pendampingan dan kemajuan teknologi memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap minat petani untuk mengadopsi, Kesiapan petani akan teknologi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat petani untuk mengadopsi. Sebesar 71% variabel independen dapat menjelaskan variabel dependen, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 29% dijelaskan oleh model lain di luar penelitian

Abstract

The occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has disrupted the people's economy, especially rice farmers. Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) certainly have an impact on people's lives, including farmers. This has caused several input prices and the selling price of agricultural products to be different from the situation before the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the food crops that has experienced price changes due to Covid-19 is rice. In addition to the price of agricultural inputs, food and non-food prices have also increased due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so that the costs incurred by farmers have also increased. Changes in price increases of basic needs and agricultural needs will of course also affect the level of welfare of rice farmers so it is necessary to conduct research on the welfare of rice farmers before and during the Covid-19 pandemic when viewed from the income and expenses of the rice farmer's house. The survey method is a research design in this study and the sample purchasing technique uses a purposive sampling technique, namely choosing respondents deliberately by considering many things and the number of respondents is 30 people. The respondents of this study were rice farmers in Jurangsapi Village, Tapen District, Bondowoso Regency. This study uses data analysis in the form of Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) analysis to determine the level of welfare of rice farmers before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research shows that when a pandemic occurred, the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) produced was 118%, which meant that there was a surplus because the Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) was > 100, while during a pandemic the Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) produced fell to 94%, indicating that the welfare of farmers during the occurrence of Covid-19 decreased because the Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) was > 100.
