Abstract

Education is a very important aspect in making the nation smarter, but there are still educational problems, especially for some students who have financial problems to continue their education. Several universities are trying to alleviate this problem by establishing amil zakat institutions to collect and distribute zakat funds to help students in need. Polmed Ziswaf Center is an institution that manages zakat, infaq, shadaqoh and waqf through campus-based digital programs. The purpose of this research is to provide an overview and evaluation of the performance of the Polmed Ziswaf Center for its success in managing ziswaf funds to empower underprivileged students who have a high desire to learn but have financial limitations at the Medan State Polytechnic through educational scholarships. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The data sources in this research were obtained through observation, interviews and focused discussions at the Polmed Ziswaf Center office. The informant in this research is the distribution and utilization sector on behalf of Dr. Suherman, M.Ag and Collection Division on behalf of M. Yunus, S.Pdi. The data analysis technique in this research uses data triangulation techniques. The results of this research show that the Polmed Ziswaf Center has distributed zakat funds for education through a scholarship program, but it is felt that it is very necessary to develop various other program targets, especially for underprivileged Medan State Polytechnic students.

Abstract

This article discussing about the perspective of traders on how the effects of Alms through Friday blessings in facilitating the acquisition of sustenance. The analytical technique used is simple linear analysis with quantitative methods. The data collection technique was carried out using questionnaires which were distributed to 30 respondents by visiting the respondents' selling locations. The results showed that Alms had a significant effect on the ease of obtaining sustenance, as evidenced by the Tcount value of 6.901 and the significance value of 0.000.

Abstract

This article is about a literature review regarding good leadership models in Islam as seen from the experience of the merger of 3 (three) Sharia Banks in Indonesia to become Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), which is currently approximately three years old and the Indonesian Sharia banking market until compete and occupy the position as a sharia bank with the most significant asset position compared to 6 (six) other conventional banks which have dominated the Indonesian market for decades. The type of data used in this research is qualitative data, with the data source coming from secondary sources and the data collection technique used being a documentation technique through literature review using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) data analysis technique by utilizing the Published or Perish (POP) metadata tool and VOS Viewer. The research method used is a qualitative method, with research results showing that the leadership model of Bank Syariah Indonesia has accommodated the best leadership criteria in Islam, which can be adaptive, fast response, and solutions while still implementing the traits and characteristics of leaders who are sincere, trustworthy, Katonah, and tabligh. This leadership character was demonstrated by leading the previous three large banks into one with one vision, mission, and work culture, as well as the synergy of all human resources that supported joint achievements to success in the three years of its existence.

Abstract

Mendeley is software that can manage various types of references in writing. The Elsevier company developed this application, which was first launched in August 2008. Mendeley is a reference management software that students need to learn. For every student working on the Final project, it is not only the content of the research that must be considered but also the writing technique. A good final report always includes valid reference evidence. Writing in scientific papers such as the Final Project must follow applicable regulations. In writing the Final Project of Medan State Polytechnic students, especially the Accounting Department, there are still some mistakes in making a bibliography or not citing the source references used in the scientific work. This is due to the lack of student understanding of applications that can be used to facilitate the making of the Final project. Understanding how to write the final report and cite reference sources. To help students facilitate the writing of the final project, it is necessary to have a basic understanding of the applications that can be used. With the Mendeley reference application, which can be used for free, it is hoped that students can apply it to the final project. The result of this service activity is an increase in knowledge, understanding, and proficiency of final-year students of the Accounting Study Program in using Mendeley reference manager for writing their final report. Students find Published or Perish helpful in obtaining metadata and references for their final report.

Abstract

Increasing Financial Literacy and Preparing Financial Reports for the Al-Amin Mosque aims to provide sharia financial literacy and help the mosque's financial reports to be prepared in accordance with accounting standards, especially ISAK 35 and well published. Currently the mosque is in the expansion renovation stage which has been going on for three years, but the progress of building the mosque is only 20%. Mosque financial reports and development financial reports are recorded conventionally and simply, which can only be seen on the al-Amin mosque notice board. Likewise, the management's understanding of financial literacy is indicated by the mosque's funds still being kept in conventional banks and the mosque's financial management is limited to mosque operational activities and the mosque management is also less active in Islamic finance-themed recitations so that if you look at the current progress of mosque construction it is directly proportional to the condition. Financial reports for both mosques and construction are not well published. The aim of the service activity is to educate and provide training to Al-Amin Mosque BKM administrators as well as Mosque BKM around Sei Mencirim Village about the obligation to prepare mosque financial reports in accordance with ISAK 35. In order to run the activities smoothly, the service team carried out data collection techniques by interviewing the Mosque BKM and direct survey by visiting the mosque location. The implementation method is by providing assistance in making financial reports to Accounting standards and sharia financial literacy training. The solution provided is by transferring knowledge and training in making financial reports according to ISAK 35 Accounting Standards, providing facilities in the form of Android televisions equipped with digital-based applications and providing teaching to the mosque BKM to make mosque financial reports using Excel referring to ISAK 35. Television can also display prayer schedules, Friday preacher schedules and other information regarding the condition of the mosque.

Abstract

This study is about "The Effect of NPF and FDR on Profitability (ROA) at the Sharia Business Unit (UUS) of PT Bank Sumut for the Period January 2015-December 2019". The purpose of this study is to determine the percentage of the influence of NPF and FDR partially and simultaneously on Profitability (ROA) at the Sharia Business Unit (UUS) of PT Bank Sumut for the period January 2015-December 2019. The data source in this study is secondary data, the type of data in this study is quantitative data collected through documentation techniques. Secondary data is obtained through the balance sheet, productive asset reports and monthly performance of UUS PT Bank Sumut. The sample in this study was 60 (n = 60). The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis, simultaneous significance test (F statistical test), partial test (t statistical test) with a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05), correlation coefficient and determination test processed with the help of the SPSS Version 24 application. The results of this study indicate that the Effect of Partial Non-Performing Financing on Profitability (Return On Asset) of UUS PT Bank Sumut for the period January 2015-December 2019 is negative with a weak and significant correlation. The Effect of Partial Finance To Deposit Ratio on Profitability (Return On Asset) of UUS PT Bank Sumut for the period January 2015-December 2019 shows a negative relationship with a moderate and significant correlation. Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Finance To Deposit Ratio (FDR) simultaneously have a moderate and significant positive effect on the Profitability (Return On Assets) of UUS PT Bank Sumut for the period January 2015-December 2019. The ability of the NPF and FDR variables to influence the variation in the increase and decrease of ROA at UUS PT Bank Sumut is 33.1%, while the remaining 66.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to improve elementary school students' literacy regarding the consumption of halal food and drinks in the school environment and to establish it as a habit. Design/methodology/approach: This activity was conducted at SDT Al-Bukhari Muslim, located at Jl. Sriwijaya No. 57, Petisah Hulu Village, Medan Baru District, Medan City, North Sumatra. Data collection techniques included interviews with SDT Al-Bukhari Muslim representatives. The proposed solution is knowledge transfer to students through Educational Seminars and Socialization on the Importance of Halal Food and Drinks for Elementary School Students. Findings: The results indicate that the lack of students' understanding of the importance of consuming halal food and drinks was successfully addressed. Students' comprehension increased by 87% after educational and socialization activities on the importance of consuming halal food and drinks. Research implications: An educational program on halal food and drink consumption for SDT Al-Bukhari Muslim students can be implemented through a sustainable education and socialization program to enhance students' understanding of the importance of halal food and drinks.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is about Inclusive Financial Analysis of Medan Sunggal Subdistrict Community. This research was conducted to find out the description of community characteristics in Medan Sunggal Subdistrict which became the object of inclusive finance. The data used in this study is primary data obtained through questionnaires given to the community in Medan Sunggal Subdistrict. Data analysis method is descriptive statistical method and multiple regression equation model, tested by t test, f test, coefficient of determination and correlation coefficient. The results of the study showed that the characteristics of the community in Medan Sunggal sub-district which became the object of financial inclusion were mostly women, the majority were aged 25-31 years with the majority education in high school / equivalent. Knowledge and Public awareness of the community in Medan Sunggal Subdistrict has a significant positive effect on community financial inclusion in the use of various financial products and services provided by financial institutions, with a low influence magnitude indicated by the correlation coefficient. Ø§Ù„ملخص: هذا البحث يدور حول التحليل المالي الشامل لمنطقة ميدان صنغ  ال الفرعية. تم إجراء هذا البحث لمعرفة وصف خصائص المجتمع في منطقة ميدان صنغال الفرعية التي أصبحت موضوع التمويل الشامل. البيانات المستخدمة في هذه الدراسة هي البيانات الأولية التي تم الحصول عليها من خلال الاستبيانات المقدمة للمجتمع في منطقة ميدان صنغال الفرعية. طريقة تحليل البيانات هي طريقة إحصائية وصفية ونموذج معادلة الانحدار المتعددة ØŒ يتم اختبارها عن طريق اختبار t ØŒ اختبار f ØŒ معامل التحديد ومعامل الارتباط. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن خصائص المجتمع في منطقة ميدان صنجال الفرعية التي أصبحت موضوع الإدماج المالي كانت في الغالب من النساء ØŒ وكانت الغالبية تتراوح أعمارهن بين 25 Ùˆ 31 عامًا مع حصول الأغلبية على التعليم في المدرسة الثانوية / ما يعادلها. المعرفة والوعي العام بالمجتمع في منطقة ميدان صنغال الفرعية له تأثير إيجابي كبير على الإدماج المالي للمجتمع في استخدام المنتجات والخدمات المالية المختلفة التي تقدمها المؤسسات المالية ØŒ مع انخفاض درجة التأثير التي أشار إليها معامل الارتباط.  Abstrak: Penelitian ini adalah tentang Analisis Keuangan Inklusif Masyarakat Kecamatan Medan Sunggal. Penelitian ini dilakukan  untuk mengetahui besaran pengaruh variabel pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap keuangan inklusif masyarakat miskin di Kecamatan Medan Sunggal. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data primer diperoleh melalui kuisioner yang diberikan kepada masyarakat miskin di Kecamatan Medan Sunggal. Metode analisis data  adalah metode statistik deskriptif serta model persamaan regresi berganda, di uji dengan uji t, uji f, koefisien determinasi serta koefisien korelasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Karakteristik masyarakat di Kecamatan Medan Sunggal yang menjadi objek keuangan inklusif sebagian besar adalah perempuan, mayoritas berusia 25-31 tahun dengan pendidikan mayoritas SMA/Sederajat. Pengetahuan masyarakat  dan Kesadaran masyarakat di Kecamatan Medan Sunggal berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keuangan inklusif  masyarakat dalam penggunaan ragam produk dan jasa keuangan yang disediakan oleh lembaga keuangan, dengan besaran pengaruh rendah ditunjukan oleh koefisien korelasi.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini menggambarkan penerapan Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan Nomor 109 (PSAK 109) dalam pengelolaan zakat, infaq / sedekah di LAZIS Muhammadiyah Kota Medan. Melalui penelitian ini, persentase penerapan PSAK 109 dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan PSAK 109 tidak diterapkan diketahui. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaporan dana zakat, infaq / sedekah yang dilakukan oleh LAZIS Muhammadiyah Kota Medan hanya berupa daftar tanda terima / pengumpulan dan pengeluaran / distribusi yang dicatat berdasarkan tanda terima yang dimiliki. Pelaporan dana zakat, infaq / sedekah LAZIS Muhammadiyah Kota Medan tidak mengikuti PSAK 109.A bstrak:Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang penerapan Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan Nomor 109 (PSAK 109) dalam pengelolaan zakat, infaq / sedekah pada LAZIS Muhammadiyah Kota Medan. Melalui penelitian ini, dapat dianggap menerapkan PSAK 109 dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan tidak diterapkannya PSAK 109. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Dana penelitian zakat, infaq / sedekah yang dilakukan oleh LAZIS Muhammadiyah Kota Medan hanya terdiri dari daftar pencatatan penerimaan / penghimpunan dan penerbitan / penyaluran yang dilaporkan berdasarkan kuitansi-kuitansi yang dihasilkan. Pelaporan dana zakat,hadiah dari pihak LAZIS Muhammadiyah Pusat.

Abstract

Latar Belakang dan tujuan: Program Pengabdian Masyarakat tentang Peningkatan Kemampuan Guru Dalam Pembelajaran Daring Menggunakan Google Classroom ini bertujuan bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan peran guru sebagai pembelajar sejati dalam memberikan materi pembelajaran secara daring menggunakan google classroom. Mitra pada program Pengabdian ini adalah Sekolah Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Al Munadi yang berlokasi di Gg. Tribakti, Tanah Enam Ratus, Kec. Medan Marelan, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara. Permasalahan yang ditemukan para guru sering mengalami kesulitan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran secara daring dikarenakan masih minimnya pengetahuan guru dalam pemanfaatan tekhnologi berupa media pembelajaran daring salah satunya menggunakan google classroom. Kondisi ini menjadikan peserta didik, tidak maksimal memperoleh pembelajaran dari Guru dan cenderung waktu yang dimiliki peserta didik yang berada di usia sekolah dasar lebih banyak terbuang untuk ber santai dan bermain, bukan belajar karena kegiatan dilakukan dirumah dan materi belajar sangat minim. Metode: Tim pelaksana Pengabdian melakukan kegiatan survey, observasi, dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data awal. Kemudian pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dilakuan melalui kegiatan pelatihan, edukasi dan penyampaian informasi berupa pelatihan penggunaan google classroom untuk pembelajaran daring. Semua fitur yang ada di Google Classroom diajarkan kepada guru melalui kegiatan pelatihan tersebut. Hasil dari kegiatan  adalah tim pengabdian memperhatikan dan mendapingi guru peserta pelatihan dihari pelaksanaan kegiatan, mengarahkan dan membantu guru sebagai peserta pelatihan untuk mengikuti arahan dari narasumber. Materi pelatihan yang diampaikan terkait google classroom adalah: Mengelola kelas dengan menggunakan google classroom, Membuat Kelas di Google Classroom, Mengundang Murid masuk ke kelas, menyampaikan materi di google classroom, melakukan komunikasi dengan murid melalui google classroom, menyampaikan materi dalam bentuk file, video, dan link kepada murid melalui google classroom, membuat soal ujian, kuis dan tugas di google classroom serta melakukan tatap muka langsung menggunakan google meet.Kesimpulan: Peningkatan Kemampuan Guru Dalam Pembelajaran Daring Menggunakan Google Classroom di SDIT Al Munadi Medan kini telah tercapai melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan dengan Tanggapan positif dan pemahaman guru terhadap materi yang disampaikan mencapai rerata 91,94% dari 35 peserta guru yang hadir mengikuti pelatihan.
