Abstract

Abstract: This study describes how the response of Japanese language education students batch 2020 to the audio-visual media of Japanese grammar ukemi. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of Japanese language education students batch 2020 to Ukemi's Japanese grammar audio-visual media. This study uses the analytical method popularized by Sudjana (2011). The results of this study are that the researchers received responses from students, as many as 19 people rated it very decent, 2 people rated it worthy, 4 people rated it less worthy, and 2 people rated it not worth it. Abstract

Abstract: This study describes the utterances that have command implications in anime. This study aims to explain what underlies that the speaker understands the speech that contains the implications of the command conveyed by the addressee by understanding a context. The data in this study is the anime Bofuri: I Don't Want To Get Hurt. So I'll Max Out My Defense Episode 1-12. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis technique used in this study is to identify utterances that contain command implications, group them into sentences and describe what underlies that the speaker understands the meaning that the utterances have command implications. The results of this study found three contexts that underlie that the speaker understands an utterance. Where for the most part there is a shared knowledge context.Key Words: Command Implication, Context, Anime

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to know the different before and after using Quizlet app in kanji subject. This study conducted with pre-experimental research method with One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample in this study is 2021 class student of Japanese Language Education Study Program B group with total 17 students. Instrument in this study used a test. The result of this study indicated that Quizlet app have significant influence for enchanting leaner’s kanji acquisition ability. Abstract

Minimnya variasi media ajar dalam pembelajaran bahasa asing berimbas pada kurangnya motivasi mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran membaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat materi ajar yang memasukkan unsur budaya Melayu ke dalam komik untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa. Kajian semacam ini memerlukan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model prosedural. Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model 4-D. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang, FKIP, Universitas Riau selama bulan Juni-Oktober 2022. Prototipe media pembelajaran yang dibuat melalui penelitian ini dinilai oleh 3 validator menggunakan instrumen angket. Teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menentukan nilai validasi. Skor rata-rata penilaian tampilan teks komik adalah 81,22% dengan kategori sesuai. Penilaian tampilan gambar memiliki validitas dan skor rata-rata 85,37 persen. Skor rata-rata untuk mengembangkan peran komik sebagai bahan pembelajaran adalah 80,53 persen dan dikategorikan baik. Dari keempat kriteria penilaian validasi media komik tersebut, diperoleh skor sebesar 81,22%, dengan kata lain komik memiliki validitas yang baik sebagai media ajar.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses changes in the meaning of loandwords or gairaigo. The purpose of this study is to explain the changes in meaning that exist in loanwords or gairaigo in Japanese manga or comics. The data in this study is the vocabulary that is considered as loan word in the Manga Doraemon volume 6 by Fujiko Fujio. This is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The result of the analysis of Didi Sutedi’s theory found 4 changes in meaning from 33 gairaigo.Key Words: Change in meaning, Gairaigo, Manga Doraemon.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to explain the level of errors made by students in changing causative verbs in Japanese sentences. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. The instrument used in this research is a test instrument. The data processing method uses statistical formulas. The results of this study show that the error rate of causative verb changes in Japanese sentences is high, with a percentage of 76%.Key Words: causative verb, error rate.

Abstract

This study aims to view the effectiveness of using Doraemon’s manga as a learning media on comprehend of hiragana in class XI of  sman 4 Pekanbaru. The population of this study were 72 students of class XI of  SMAN 4 Pekanbaru with samples taken of 36 students which were divided into 18 students for the experimental class and 18 students for the control class. The results obtained were based on the independent sample T-Test on the Post-Test results of the two classes, namely 0.016 and showed that Doraemon’s manga as a learning media was proven to be effective on comprehend hiragana of class XI of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Abstract: The strategy of switching to the mother tongue is used for speaking and involves using the mother tongue for expression without translating it. This research aims to find strategies for switching to the mother tongue used by students of class of 2020 in Japanese conversation. The participants in this study were middle-level students, namely students of class of 2020 of the Japanese language education study program, FKIP Riau University, in Japanese conversation. The purpose of this research is to find out and describe the strategy of switching to the mother tongue used by students of class of 2020 of the Japanese language education study program FKIP Riau University in Japanese conversations. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The research instruments used were interviews and observations. Abstract: This study discusses the use of the Quizlet in learning Japanese vocabularyin grade 10th students of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to find out whetherthe Quizlet application is effective in mastering the vocabulary of grade 10th students of SMAN9 Pekanbaru and how effective the Quizlet is as a medium for learning Japanese vocabulary.The sample used in this study amounted to 34 people who were students of grade 10th Science3 SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. This research is a pre-experimental research with a research designusing one gorup pretest-posttest. Using pre-test and post-test data, the experimental classconducted a hypothesis test using a two-related sample test and the results were obtainedAsymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 > 0.05 so Hk is accepted and Ho is rejected. It can be concludedthat the Quizlet is considered effective in mastering Japanese vocabulary for grade 10thstudents of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. To see how effective the Quizlet app is in mastering Japanesevocabulary, an N-Gain test was conducted. From the results of the N-Gain test, an N-Gainscore of 0.82 was obtained, which means that the effectiveness of the Quizlet app is consideredquite high in mastering Japanese vocabulary.Key words: Quizlet, Vocabulary, Japanese, SMAN 9 Pekanbaru

Abstract

Belajar bahasa asing tentu tidak mudah, begitu juga belajar bahasa Jepang. Jepang memiliki empat jenis huruf, salah satunya hiragana. Dalam mempelajari hiragana bagi pemula tentunya terdapat kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami oleh pembelajar, seperti kesulitan dalam menghafal, menulis dan sebagainya. Untuk mempermudah pembelajaran media pembelajaran memiliki peran yang penting, karena dengan adanya media dalam pembelajaran akan membuat pembelaran lebih mudah dipahami. Dalam penelitian ini media yang diteliti yaitu aplikasi Obenkyo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa kelas XII SMK Perpajakan Riau terhadap aplikasi Obenkyo dalam pembelajaran hiragana. Analisis  dalam penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada hasil angket yang telah diberikan kepada 35 orang siswa kelas XII SMK Perpajakan Riau tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa panggunaan media pembelajaran sangat penting bagi setiap pembelajar terutama pada pembelajaran bahasa asing salah satunya ialah Bahasa Jepang  huruf hiragana, karena dibutuhkannya media penunjang berupa aplikasi yang mampu membantu dalam pembelajaran.
