Abstract

Miscarriage is a traumatic experience that can have physical and psychological effects on mothers. Many mothers who have experienced miscarriage suffer from stress, depression, and even trauma that can affect their next pregnancy. This community service activity aims to provide psychological education to mothers who have experienced miscarriage in order to prevent depression and pregnancy trauma. The activity was carried out by lecturers and students of the Midwifery Study Program at Puskesmas X in August 2025. The activity methods included a pre-test, interactive psychological counseling, relaxation simulation, and a post-test. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge from 58.4% (pre-test) to 87.2% (post-test) and a decrease in anxiety levels based on the DASS-21 questionnaire. It can be concluded that psychological education is effective in increasing the knowledge and emotional readiness of mothers after miscarriage, thereby preventing depression and pregnancy trauma.

Abstract

Abstract Exclusive breastfeeding is a crucial step in improving infant health and preventing various nutritional problems. However, many postpartum mothers still lack the knowledge and confidence to provide optimal breastfeeding. This community service activity aims to improve postpartum mothers' knowledge and confidence through lactation management education. Implementation methods include counseling, breastfeeding technique training, and mentoring postpartum mothers in breastfeeding practices. The results of the activity indicate an increase in postpartum mothers' knowledge and confidence in exclusive breastfeeding. Lactation management education has been proven effective in supporting successful exclusive breastfeeding. Keywords: Lactation Management, Exclusive Breastfeeding, Postpartum Mothers, Health Promotion Abstrak Pemberian ASI eksklusif merupakan salah satu upaya penting dalam meningkatkan kesehatan bayi dan mencegah berbagai masalah gizi. Namun, masih banyak ibu nifas yang belum memiliki pengetahuan dan kepercayaan diri yang cukup dalam memberikan ASI secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kepercayaan diri ibu nifas melalui edukasi manajemen laktasi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan teknik menyusui, serta pendampingan ibu nifas dalam praktik pemberian ASI. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kepercayaan diri ibu nifas dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif. Edukasi manajemen laktasi terbukti efektif dalam mendukung keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Laktasi, Asi Eksklusif, Ibu Nifas, Promosi Kesehatan
