Abstract

During the covid-19 pandemic, new rules in the world of education have started, namely the shift of a learning process form face to face to online. Therefore, the researcher aims to find out what e-lear ing media are widely used in the online learning process and the advantages and disadvantages of learning in the Islamic Education Management Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Google classroom and whatsapp are online learning media that are quite in demand by users, both as the only media or as supporting media. The advantages of implementing e-learning are that students become independent, flexible, save on stationery, and students become active. The drawbacks of implementing e-learning are that the interaction between lecturers and students becomes more distant, students who do not have the motivation to learn tend to fail, limited internet access, and the teaching and learning process tends towards training rather than education.

Abstract

COVID-19 has generated significant management issues, notably in school leadership. Special schools demand leadership innovation so that learning activities stay optimal. This paper addresses situational leadership in Children with Special Needs (ABK) at SLB Negeri 2 Yogyakarta utilizing qualitative description and data collection through interviews, observation, and recording. A purposive sample of informants was used, and they were classified as important, primary, and supporting informants. Data analysis processes include transcripts, coding, grouping, comparing, contrasting, and interpretation. The findings of the SLB situational leadership research take into account the investigation of technology, economics, policy, health, environmental and social (TEPHES) factors in school decision-making in the Pandemic-19 scenario.

Abstract

This study aims to determine international accreditation management to assess quality standards at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that UIN Sunan Kalijaga has implemented an international standard quality assurance system and has received FIBAA international accreditation and AUN-QA certification. In 4ICU Unirank 2022 UIN Sunan Kalijaga obtained the top 16 rankings of the best Islamic universities in the world and the best Islamic universities nationwide.

Abstract

Gerakan literasi sudah menjadi agenda nasional Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Indonesia dalam rangka memberantas buta huruf masyarakat Indonesia. Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta menyelenggarakan program kuliah kerja nyata (KKN) tematik berbasis literasi guna mendukung gerakan literasi nasional. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengklasifikasikan program KKN tematik di dusun Bengkung, Desa Candiretno, Kabupaten Magelang. Klasifikasi dilakukan berdasarkan jenis-jenis literasi nasional Indonesia sebagai dasar gerakan literasi nasional. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode survey dilakukan guna mendapatkan data statistik kegiatan berbasis literasi yang menjadi program KKN tematik dusun Bengkung, kemudian diperkuat dengan observasi dan wawancara (pendekatan kualitatif). Adapun pemetaan dan analisis data menggunakan VOSviewers. Kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh tim KKN tematik dusun Bengkung ada yang terprogram dan insidental. Sebagian besar program KKN tematik, mengarah pada gerakan literasi nasional. KKN tematik berbasis literasi menjadi pemantik pengembangan kegiatan literasi di tingkat dusun. Semakin besar persentase kegiatan berbasis literasi, maka semakin besar pula kontribusi program KKN tematik untuk melancarkan Gerakan Literasi Nasional Kemdikbud. Gerakan literasi yang dimulai dari dusun, dapat menjadi alat efektif untuk melancarkan aksi gerakan literasi nasional. Selanjutnya, analisis mengenai jenis kegiatan literasi yang memungkinkan dilakukan oleh masyarakat pedesaan dapat dilaksanakan. Melalui hal tersebut dapat dikenali model literasi secara kontekstual yang menjadi media pembangunan manusia untuk Generasi Emas 2050.

Abstract

Tercapainya pendidikan yang unggul tergantung pada sekolah yang memenuhi standar tertentu agar dapat terus beroperasi sebagai lembaga pendidikan. Dalam upaya membangun sekolah unggul, sekolah telah menerapkan sistem penjaminan mutu. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 11 Yogyakarta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana SMA Negeri 11 Yogyakarta mengelola sistem penjaminan mutunya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran dan analisis pengelolaan Sistem penjaminan mutu di SMA Negeri 11 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif. Penulis mengunjungi beberapa situs di SMA Negeri 11 Yogyakarta untuk mewawancarai responden yang sesuai dengan kriteria narasumber guna mengumpulkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis maupun lisan. Pengamatan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem manajemen penjaminan mutu SMA Negeri 11 berada pada kategori cukup. Dalam hal ini, kita dapat membedakan antara dua jenis sistem penjaminan mutu internal dan eksternal. Menurut kelemahannya, kepemimpinan, sumber daya manusia, dan infrastruktur semua pendukung mendukung dalam administrasi dan pelaksanaan sistem penjaminan mutu di SMA N 11 Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This studyaims to examine the effect of archival-based content types on Instagram engagement in an archival institution in Indonesia. This is quantitative study. Data were obtained from the Instagram log content included like and comment number, within February 2023 to July 2023. There were 63 contents in that period. The contents were categorized into five categories: (A) greeting to followers; (B) archival material; (C) daily news; (D) promoting the services; and (E) archival knowledge. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was employed to analyze the data. The results revealed that there was a significant difference on “likes” mean score among the content types. On the other hand, content types had no significant effect on “comments” mean score. Implementation of principles of social media optimization is suggested to enhance the Instagram engagement. This study offers an intentional approach for archival institutions to enhance their engagement in social media.

Abstract

Professional human resources view knowledge management as a guarantor of knowledge owned, acquired, and developed together with other people in the organization so that personal knowledge can become organizational knowledge that can contribute to organizational performance. This study aims to analyze the optimization of the implementation of knowledge management at Bina Nusantara University to approach human resources. This approach is carried out to gain commitment and at the same time increase the competence of human resources in using knowledge management. This study uses a qualitative research method with the type of case study. The research results at Bina Nusantara University show that the resource approach focuses on empowering stakeholders, managing perceptions, developing individual competencies and commitments, and appreciating all achievements. This human resource approach is grouped into students, alumni, and parents. Second, industry, business people, and the community. Third, faculty members, and fourth, staff. This research contributes to a deep understanding of the human resource approach for optimizing knowledge management in higher education.

Abstract

To become an individual figure as expected, the teacher should always improve the quality of himself. Because to produce a quality generation, of course it must be preceded by the creation of quality teachers as well. The professional abilities of teachers must be improved both by the teachers themselves, as well as by other parties who are related and have a relationship, either directly or indirectly. And this was done at UIN Sunanan Kalijaga Yogyakarta for MPI master students with a field study program. This study aims to analyze how the analysis of the role of field study (teaching practice) in improving the teaching competence of megisiter students at MPI UIN Sunan Kalijaga by using a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The respondents are MPI Masters students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga who practice teaching. by using observation techniques, and interviews. Furthermore, data reduction and presentation are carried out, then conclusions are drawn. The results of the analysis show that the field of study has a very important role in improving students' teaching competence. This is evidenced by the stages carried out, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation of the learning carried out.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) berperan penting dalam membangun fondasi perkembangan anak, mencakup aspek kognitif, sosial, emosional, dan fisik. Untuk memastikan kualitas layanan PAUD, diperlukan sistem penjaminan mutu yang sistematis dan berkelanjutan. Namun, banyak lembaga PAUD menghadapi tantangan dalam menerapkan sistem penjaminan mutu karena keterbatasan sumber daya dan struktur organisasi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan sistem penjaminan mutu internal di Taman Bermain (TB) & Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) Ceria Demangan Yogyakarta, yang mengintegrasikan fungsi penjaminan mutu ke dalam berbagai unit manajemen tanpa memiliki tim khusus.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan Kepala Sekolah dan Wakil Kepala Sekolah TK Ceria Demangan, serta analisis dokumen terkait penjaminan mutu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penjaminan mutu di Ceria dilakukan melalui pembagian tugas dalam tim Litbang, HRD, dan Koordinator Internal-Eksternal. Siklus penjaminan mutu meliputi perencanaan, implementasi, evaluasi, dan perbaikan berkelanjutan, yang dijalankan secara fleksibel berdasarkan kebutuhan sekolah. Salah satu praktik unggulan yang mendukung penjaminan mutu adalah kegiatan field-trip, yang memberikan pengalaman belajar berbasis eksplorasi kepada anak-anak. Meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam aspek logistik dan koordinasi, strategi perencanaan ulang serta komunikasi yang intensif dengan mitra eksternal terbukti efektif dalam memastikan keberlanjutan program.  Studi ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun tidak memiliki tim penjaminan mutu khusus, pendekatan berbasis tim dengan pembagian tugas spesifik mampu memastikan peningkatan mutu pendidikan secara berkelanjutan. Implikasi dari temuan ini menegaskan bahwa fleksibilitas dalam implementasi sistem penjaminan mutu dapat menjadi strategi efektif bagi PAUD dengan keterbatasan sumber daya

Abstract

This study explores the potential of Dusun Bengkung's local resources to develop Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM)-based educational activities aimed at enhancing literacy and creativity among school-aged children. Employing a qualitative case study methodology, data were gathered through focus group discussions (FGDs) involving 15 community stakeholders and document analysis. The findings reveal three key local potentials: (1) strong social collaboration rooted in the village's cultural traditions, (2) abundant natural resources such as bamboo, rice, and fishponds, and (3) a substantial demographic of school-aged children eager for creative engagement. STEAM activities tailored to these local resources included bamboo-based string art, water filtration techniques, and natural dyeing using local plants. The Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (Community Reading Center) Pelopor Literasi Dusunku and its associated Rumah Belajar (Learning House) served as central hubs for facilitating these activities, supported by thematic community service programs and literacy initiatives aligned with the National Literacy Movement. The study highlights the impact of integrating local wisdom into STEAM education to foster literacy, creativity, and cultural sustainability. However, its focus on a single rural community limits generalizability. Future research should investigate the scalability of such models across diverse cultural and ecological contexts. Additionally, integrating digital tools into these localized frameworks offers opportunities for advancing digital literacy in rural education.
