Abstract

Kecamaan Ende merupakan salah satu wilayah kecamatan yang terletak di bagian utara Kota Ende yang memiliki luas 170,98 km2 dengan jumlah penduduk 17.208 jiwa. Kaakteristik penggunaan lahan di Kecamatan Ende dapat dilihat dari beberapa indikator yakni, permkiman,perkebunan, hutan serta infrastruktur jalan.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik penggunaan lahan di Kecamatan Ende. Pengumpula data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan survei primer dan sekunder. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan tenik analisis persentase. Karakteristik penggunaan lahan di Kecamatan Ende didominasi oleh jenis penggunaan lahan hutan, dengan luas total mencapai 47,17 Km2 dengan persentase sebesar 77 %, penggunaan lahan perkebunan seluas 12,33 Km2 atau 20 %, dan yang terakhir jenis penggunan lahan permukiman seluas 1,60 Km2 atau 3 % dari total keseluruhan.Selain itu terdapat inifrastruktur jalan sepanjang 220,32 Km dengan rincian Jalan Lingkungan sepanjang 191,51 Km, Jalan Lokal sepanjang 26,41 Km dan Jalan Kolektor sepanjang 2,40 Km.

Abstract

Buncitan village has an area of 145.9 hectares with a population of 4,976 people and 1,981 households. The function and role of Sedati Sub-district according to Sidoarjo Regency Regional Regulation No. 9 of 2009 concerning the Regional Spatial Plan of Sidoarjo Regency 2009-2029 is as a settlement, industry and trade on a local, regional and international scale. The issuance of the Job Creation Law and Government Regulation on the Implementation of Spatial Planning that changes the authority of local governments in district or city spatial planning needs to be socialized to village officials, so that they are expected to increase their participation in supporting spatial planning. The method of implementing the activity uses a socialization method that begins with distributing a pre-test and ends with a post-test regarding understanding in the implementation of spatial planning. The results obtained were the initial condition of the level of understanding of village officials about their role in the implementation of spatial planning of 78% while post-socialization increased to 100%. The findings of community service that can be input for the local government are the need for socialization and ease of accessing the district spatial plan regional regulation document for the Buncitan Village community.

Abstract

Desa Belik, yang terletak di Kecamatan Trawas, Kabupaten Mojokerto, dikenal dengan keindahan alamnya namun menghadapi ancaman serius dari bencana tanah longsor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko longsor dan meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat melalui program pengabdian masyarakat yang berfokus pada mitigasi bencana. Metode yang digunakan mencakup survei area rawan longsor, pelatihan mitigasi bencana, simulasi tanggap darurat, dan pengembangan sistem peringatan dini. Hasil dari pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman warga mengenai mitigasi bencana, dengan rata-rata peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 40%-50%. Program ini berhasil memperkuat kapasitas masyarakat Desa Belik dalam mengelola risiko longsor, meskipun masih diperlukan upaya lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang tanda-tanda awal longsor dan penerapan sistem peringatan dini.

Abstract

The conversion of agricultural land into residential areas in Desa Belik, Kecamatan Trawas, Kabupaten Mojokerto, has significantly increased the risk of landslides. This research aims to examine the impact of land conversion on landslide incidents using secondary data regarding supporting variables related to the potential threat of landslides and the landscape of the area. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research results show that the conversion of agricultural land into residential areas increases both physical and non-physical vulnerability to potential landslides. The research results show that conversion of agricultural land into residential areas increases vulnerability to landslides. The conclusion is that implementing stricter disaster mitigation policies and implementing excellent spatial planning that prioritizes ecological sustainability is crucial in reducing the potential risk of landslides in the future.

Abstract

The dynamic development of the city affects the high use of land. Therefore, changes in the pressure of natural spaces, including conservation spaces, also experience changes in function. The high pressure on natural spaces such as open spaces, water catchment areas, and wetlands has caused a decrease in the ability to absorb and store water during the rainy season. Hence, flooding is commonly occurred, especially in urban areas. This also took place in Sidoarjo Regency, where there has been a significant change in land cover. Prior studies showed that changes in land cover are due to the transformation of built-up area of 13.83% in 2008–2018. This caused an increase in surface temperature, which was initially 23 °C in 2008 to 25 °C in 2018. In addition, the Sidoarjo Regency also has a moderate level of susceptibility to flooding. This research aims to determine the effect of land cover and surface temperature on disaster risk with respect to the five selected hazards. The method used was a quantitative, explorative, and spatial approach. In order to find out the characteristics of land cover, the analysis method was the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). Furthermore, to identify the characteristics of surface temperature distribution, an analysis of Land Surface Temperature (LST) was carried out, followed by a regression analysis using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS). Land cover and surface temperature do not affect the disaster risk in the Sidoarjo Regency, which is the result of this study.Abstrak Perkembangan kota yang dinamis mempengaruhi tingginya penggunaan lahan, sehingga perubahan desakan ruang alami termasuk ruang konservasi juga mengalami perubahan fungsi. Tingginya desakan ruang alami seperti ruang terbuka, kawasan resapan air dan lahan basah mengakibatkan menurunnya kemampuan dalam menyerap dan menampung air pada saat musim hujan, sehingga tidak jarang pula terjadi banjir khususnya di kawasan perkotaan. Hal ini juga terjadi di Kabupaten Sidoarjo, yang telah mengalami perubahan tutupan lahan yang cukup signifikan. Berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu, perubahan tutupan lahan dibuktikan dengan adanya transformasi penggunaan lahan terbangun sebesar 13,83% pada tahun 2008–2018. Hal ini menyebabkan terjadinya peningkatan suhu permukaan, yang awalnya 23 °C pada tahun 2008 menjadi 25 °C pada tahun 2018. Selain itu, Kabupaten Sidoarjo juga memiliki tingkat kerawanan bencana banjir di tingkat sedang. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh tutupan lahan dan suhu permukaan terhadap risiko bencana pada lima jenis ancaman bencana terpilih. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, eksploratif, dan keruangan (spasial). Guna mengetahui karakteristik tutupan lahan, maka metode yang digunakan adalah analisis Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). Selanjutnya, guna mengidentifikasi karakteristik persebaran suhu permukaan, maka dilakukan analisis Land Surface Temperature (LST), dilanjutkan dengan analisis regresi menggunakan Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS). Tutupan lahan dan suhu permukaan tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap potensi risiko bencana di Kabupaten Sidoarjo merupakan hasil dari kajian ini.

Abstract

Indonesia’s maritime area is approximately 3.1 km2 including inland areas, archipelagic waters, territorial seas and the Exclusive Economic Zone. Indonesia’s diverse and rich marine ecosystems are home to abundant fishery resources, including bigeye tuna (Thunnus Obesus). Overfishing practices have caused a decline in the population of this fish, with a significant impact on the balance of the marine ecosystem in the Banda Sea. Unsustainable fishing practices, the use of destructive fishing gear, and minimal supervision and law enforcement against illegal fishing practices have contributed to the decline in the population of bigeye tuna (Thunnus Obesus). The objective of this article is to investigate the impact of overfishing on the health of marine ecosystem of bigeye Tuna in the Banda sea. This article is based on a literature review of various scientific sources, research resources, research reports, and statistical data on the impact of overfishing on the balance of the Indonesian marine ecosystem. The impacts of overfishing of bigeye tuna (Thunnus Obesus) are: Drastic Decrease in Tuna Population, Food Chain Imbalance, Impact on Other Species, Marine Habitat Damage, and Biodiversity Decline, thus becoming a national and global threat. To overcome the impacts of overfishing of bigeye tuna in the Banda Sea, it is necessary to set strict catch quotas, stricter supervision and law enforcement, use of environmentally friendly fishing gear, and restoration of damaged marine habitats

Abstract

May 29 2006 is the day when the Lapindo Mud disaster occurred in Sidoarjo Regency. This natural disaster is a disaster where the ground releases gas along with hot mud with a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius. The Lapindo Mud disaster has inundated several villages located in several sub-districts in Sidoarjo Regency, where until now the condition of hot mudflow around the center of the eruption is still increasing. The village of Panggreh, situated in the Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency, serves as a resettlement area for the victims of the Lapindo Mudflow. The region has a settlement where a portion of the Lapindo mudflow disaster victims have been relocated. The objective of this study is to comprehend the socio-economic situation of the Lapindo Mud Disaster victims in Panggreh Village. This research applies primary and secondary data collection methods along with descriptive qualitative research methodology that uses photo mapping techniques. The study's findings reveal that the educational facilities in Panggreh Lengap village are in excellent condition, the buildings were still sturdy and very decent, the educational services were very good. Health facilities and services are also good. The economy of the middle to lower class community. The majority of people feel the negative impact of moving their residence because of the Lapindo.

Abstract

The Lapindo mud disaster forced local residents to flee to a safe place, one of which was Panggreh Village, which has an area of ​​171.78 hectares or 3%. As a result, the population in Panggreh Village has automatically increased. Several cases show that if there is a change or regional development in a location, then in a short time the land around it will also change progressively. The purpose of this study was to determine changes in the form of land use in Panggreh Village due to the relocation of victims of the Lapindo Mud Disaster. Collecting data in this study using documentation, observation and using Google Earth imagery. The analytical method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with a before-after analysis technique. The results showed that there was a significant increase and decrease in land use that occurred in Panggreh Village in 2005 and 2022. The residential land area in 2005 was 48.95 Ha and in 2022 it increased to 69.99 Ha or 59%, The area of ​​paddy fields in 2005 was 109.32 Ha and in 2022 it decreased to 94.69 Ha or 46%, The area of ​​dry land or fields in 2005 was 13.51 Ha and in 2022 it decreased to 7.10 Ha or 34 %. Government policies related to land use and population are expected to be realized in the community so that there are no policy deviations that originate from uncontrolled population growth and land use that is not in accordance with the policy.

Abstract

Magersari Subdistrict is one of the subdistricts located in Mojokerto City which has a risk area for domestic wastewater, household waste and environmental drainage. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the data collection techniques used in this research namely observation and documentation. The purpose of this study is to find out how much effort the community has made in carrying out sanitation and also the proper handling. The results of the analysis based on IFAS and EFAS calculations show that the matrix quadrant is located in quadrant I. This shows that Magersari District has great strengths and advantages from the internal and external sectors in handling residential sanitation in Magersari District.

Abstract

Komodo District is also one of the areas that is prone to disasters, especially floods, as happened in 2019 when a flood hit three villages, namely Gorontalo Village, Macang Tanggar Village and Golo Bilas Village, Komodo District. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk level of flood-prone areas in Komodo District, West Manggarai Regency. Methods of data collection in this study using documentation, observation, literature studies and related institutions. The analytical method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with overlay analysis techniques. The results showed that based on the results of the risk assessment analysis for West Manggarai Regency, the index for the flood hazard class for Komodo District was the moderate class index. This is in line with the results of research conducted where the Komodo District is included in the moderate risk level.
