Background: The use of convalescent plasma was recommended as empiric treatment during the Ebolavirus outbreak in 2014, and a protocol for the treatment of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (MERS) with convalescent plasma was created in 2015. Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 or known as COVID-19 was a disease caused by severe acute respiratory coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Background: The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become the highest priority of global pandemic. New and repurposed drugs are being tested on mild to moderate levels of COVID-19 to help suppress transmission of the virus. Ivermectin is one of the repurposed drugs with known safety records with more than 2.5 billion doses dispensed in the past. This study aims to estimate the effectiveness of ivermectin in reducing the risk of mortality in COVID-19 patients based on the results of a number of previous similar studies.Subjects and Method: This study is a systematic review and meta-analysis. This study used secondary data in the form of data from previous study results. A systematic and comprehensive database search was carried out through several databases including: PubMed, Science Direct, Google Scholar, and Springer Link. Background: Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer experienced by women which can cause the most deaths in both developed and developing countries. The risk of breast cancer severity in women with BMI obesity category increased up to 30% compared with women who had normal weight. This study aims to analyze the effect of obesity on breast cancer mortality in women, with a meta-analysis of primary studies conducted by previous authors. Subjects and Method: This study is a systematic review and meta-analysis with the following PICO, population: breast cancer women. Intervention: obesity. Comparison: not obese. Outcome: mortality. The articles used in this study were obtained from four databases, namely Google Scholar, Pubmed, Science Direct and Springerlink. Keywords to search for articles “Obesity” OR “Obese Overweight” AND “Mortality” OR “Death” AND “Women with Breast Cancer” OR “Breast Cancer” OR “Breast Cancer Mortality” AND “Adjusted Hazard Ratio”. The included articles are full-text English with an observational cohort study design from 2012 to 2021 and report on the aOR in multivariate analyses. Article selection is done by using PRISMA flow diagram. Articles were analyzed using the Review Manager 5.3 application. Results: A total of 12 observational cohort studies from the United States, Denmark, Netherlands, UK, Spain, Malaysia and China were selected for systematic review and meta-analysis. The data collected showed that obesity increased the mortality risk of breast cancer women and was statistically significant (aOR = 1.23; 95% CI = 1.00 to 1.52; p = 0.050). Background: Cancer is one of the health problems throughout the world, the increasing mortality rate due to breast cancer is one of them because it is detected at an advanced stage. In 2018 breast cancer was at the top of the list impacting 2,088,849 (11.6%) world women every year and with an incidence of death of 626,679 (6.6%) cases. One category of intervention to improve the quality of life of breast cancer survivors that has developed in recent years is by means of aerobic exercise. This study aims to estimate the magnitude of the effect of aerobic exercise on the quality of life of breast cancer survivors.Subjects and Method: This study was a meta-analysis study with PICO as follows P = breast cancer survivors. I= aerobic exercise. C= no intervention. O= quality of life. The articles used in this study were obtained from several databases, namely PubMed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar. This article was collected for 2 months. The keywords to search for articles were as follows: “breast cancer” OR “ca mammae” OR “carcinoma mammae” OR “mammae cancer”AND aerobic OR “aerobic exercise” AND “quality of life” OR “QOL” AND “RCT” OR “randomized control trial” OR “cluster-randomized control trial”. The articles included in this study are full text articles with a Randomized Controlled Trial study design. Articles were analyzed using the Review Manager 5.3 application. The results of the meta-analysis are reported using the PRISMA flow diagram.Results: There are 9 articles that have been analyzed from California, America, Iran, Kosovo, Spain, England, Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands. Studies show that aerobic exercise intervention improves the quality of life of breast cancer survivors SMD= 0.14; 95% CI= -0.23 to 0.51), and the results were not statistically significant (p= 0.460).Conclusion: Aerobic exercise improves the quality of life of breast cancer survivors. Background: Based on the reported cases, 16.9% of COVID-19 patients were accompanied by comorbidities. Hypertension and smoking are suspected to be one of the pathological determinants that play a role in clinical predictors that are predicted to cause a worsening of the patient's condition during the treatment period. This study aimed to examine correlations between hypertension, smoking, and severity risk of COVID-19.Subjects and Method: Meta-analysis was carried out using PRISMA flow diagrams. Article searches through journal databases include: PubMed, Science Direct, Google Scholar. articles used in 2020-2022. The PICOs in this study were, Population: COVID-19 patients, Intervention: hypertension and smoking Comparation: not hypertension and not smoking, Outcome: severity of COVID-19. The keywords in this study were “hypertention” OR “high blood pressure” AND “severe COVID-19” OR “severty COVID-19” OR “patient COVID-19 outcome” “cigarette” OR “smoking” OR “current smoker” OR former smoker” AND “severe COVID-19” OR “severty COVID-19” OR “patient COVID-19 outcome” Inclusion criteria were articles used in full paper articles with a cohort design, relationship size used with aOR, intervention given the association of hypertension and smoking on the severity of COVID-19. Eligible articles were analyzed using the Revman 5.3 application.Results: A meta-analysis of 12 cohort articles originating from Asia, America, Africa, Europe, concluded that COVID-19 treatment patients with hypertension had higher severity 1.82 times compared to those without hypertension (aOR= 1.82; 95% CI= 1.18 to 2.79; p=0.006). Likewise, COVID-19 treatment patients with smoking habit had higher severity than those who do not smoke (aOR= 0.62; 95% CI= 0.14 to 2.65; p=0.520).Conclusion: COVID-19 patients with hypertension have an increased risk of severity.
