Bali), one of which is the Wongaya Betan Subak, Mengesta Village, which is used as the center for food gateways for the Tabanan Regency. Mengesta Village is an agricultural area that has special characteristics because it has natural panoramas in the form of mountain ranges and beautiful stretches of terraced rice fields with an area of around 4,437 hectares. Agricultural management is carried out in a poor traditional way with a touch of science and technology. The development of rice agro-tourism is carried out by adding tourism destinations that are in accordance with village potential. The addition of destinations includes restaurants that sell processed agricultural products, home stays as facilities to support tourists who want to stay overnight, education and practice from plowing fields to rice processing as well as education and practice regarding rice rehabilitation where there will also be interesting photo spots.

Abstract

The night market is a place for recreation and buying and selling transactions for the community. Night market visitors have a very wide range of diversity (gender, age, social and economic strata, and etc). The night market has many advantages besides being able to attract a variety of visitors. But on the one hand, the night market is also inseparable from its shortcomings. Among them are cleanliness, sanitation, material sustainability on attraction rides and night market buildings. The night market also has the potential as a space to gather many people in one place so it is right to be used as a place to promote local products, as well as become a tourism object for the surrounding community. The night market has a moving nature that makes the night market use temporary buildings or temporary architecture. In this case, the night market can be a space for exploration of how the night market can develop temporary architecture to the stage of material sustainability and the optimal and practical use of structures. The night market can also be a space to explore how local architecture can be modified and further developed as a display skin on the night market. So that the night market will feel familiar to visitors who come and can be a special attraction for the night market. In this paper, the author wants to provide solutions to the shortcomings of the night market and provide alternative choices of architectural styles used in the night market. The research steps used in data collection include: input stage (determination of title); process stage (literature review, questionnaire, observation); stage (Process of data analysis, discussion, and conclusion).

Abstract

The decrease in the area of salt pond farming land in the Province of Bali as a result of greater use of coastal land as a support for the tourism sector resulted in a drop in the amount of salt produced in the Province of Bali. This issue has had an influence, resulting in the emergence of other issues such as decreased use of traditional food technology, decreased incomes and farming professions, and inadequate measures to maintain cultural assets associated with the ancient salt production method. Salt Pond Edutourism began as a reaction to existing challenges through its functions such as production and development, educational functions, and distribution. The exact location was chosen as Amed Hamlet, Purwakerti Village, Kec. Abstract

Currently, glamping has become a trend for recreation in nature, one type of glamping that is starting to develop is riverside glamping. Riverside Glamping is a tourist accommodation that provides a camping experience while enjoying the natural atmosphere, but can still rest comfortably located on the river bank. One of the areas that has interesting natural potential to be used as a glamping location is in the Karangasem area, precisely along the Telaga Waja river. This glamping design applies a tropical theme using natural materials so that it can respond to the climate in the area. The aim of this glamping design is to accommodate visitors as accommodation which previously was still less than optimal in terms of architecture and comfort. In compiling this journal, data collection methods were used, such as interviews with tourists and tourism object managers around the Telaga Waja river, making direct observations at locations to find the necessary information, and conducting literature studies to obtain information that is still limited in the field. With this glamping design, it is hoped that it can have a positive impact on becoming an icon of a tourist attraction in that location so that it becomes an attraction for tourists so that it can improve the economic sector of the local community

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand how communal space develops in the Car Free Day (CFD) Renon in Denpasar, which transforms from a traffic space into a social space every week. Combination methods—also known as mixed methods—were used in this research. This method includes a qualitative approach through interviews and observations as well as a quantitative approach through surveys and questionnaires. The focus of the research is on physical space, how the space is used, social interactions, and the impact on the local community. The research results show that the distribution of communities in the CFD is relatively even, and the flow of visitor movement does not significantly affect the distribution of communities. Adequate public space, strategic and easily accessible locations, and opportunities for social interaction among communities are all factors that contribute to a positive community response. However, the issues faced by some communities include visitor congestion that reduces the efficiency of activities and the disorderliness of communal space arrangements in CFD. Therefore, gaining a better understanding of how CFD spaces are used can aid in better urban planning, improve urban quality of life, and encourage similar design efforts in other cities
