This study aims to analyze the impact of work experience and competence on the performance of employees of the General Election Commission (KPU) of South Tangerang City. Work experience and competence are used as independent variables, while employee performance is a dependent variable. The research method used is quantitative with an associative approach. Data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 57 respondents of KPU employees of South Tangerang City. The results showed that work experience had a negative and insignificant influence on employee performance with a tcal value of -0.783 < ttable 2.004 and a significant value of 0.437 > 0.05. On the contrary, competence had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a calculated value of 2.141 > 2.004 and a significant value of 0.037 < 0.05. Simultaneously, work experience and competence together have a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance with a value of Fcal 2.313 < Ftable 3.17 and a significant value of 0.109 > 0.05. These results show that competence is more dominant in improving employee performance compared to work experience. Abstract

This research examines the impact of brand love and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty toward Nyai Mercon products on TikTok, with e-WOM serving as a moderating factor. Data were collected from 187 customers who purchased through TikTok Shop using purposive sampling. Analysis using SmartPLS 4.0 with the SEM-PLS method revealed that both brand love and customer satisfaction have a significant impact on loyalty. E-WOM moderates the relationship between brand love and loyalty, but does not moderate the satisfaction–loyalty link. These results highlight the importance of emotional engagement, customer satisfaction, and active online interaction in enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of workload on employee performance by considering the role of work ethic and employee loyalty at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Yogyakarta City. A high workload can affect productivity and work quality, while work ethic and employee loyalty are seen as balancing factors in maintaining organizational performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of associative research. The population in this study is all employees of BPBD Yogyakarta City totaling 60 people, with sampling techniques using the census method. Data collection was carried out through a closed questionnaire using the Likert scale, while data analysis was carried out by multiple linear regression using the SPSS version 25 program. The results showed that partially, workload had no significant effect on employee performance (p = 0.385 > 0.05), while work ethic (p = 0.001) and loyalty (p = 0.022) had a positive and significant effect on performance. Simultaneously, workload, work ethic, and loyalty had a significant effect on employee performance with an Adjusted R² value of 0.548, which means that the three variables explain 54.8% of employee performance variations. This finding confirms that the improvement in the performance of BPBD employees is more influenced by the development of work ethic and loyalty than by managing the workload alone. The practical implications of this study show the importance of managerial strategies in creating a balance of workload and strengthening the value of work ethic and loyalty to improve the effectiveness of public organization performance.
