Abstract

This study examines the effects of job satisfaction, career development, and organizational culture on employee retention at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. Using a causal quantitative approach based on Social Exchange Theory, data were collected from 243 Millennial and Gen Z employees and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that job satisfaction and organizational culture have positive and significant effects on employee retention, while career development is not significant in the multivariate model. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly explain 73.1% of retention variance. The findings imply that employee retention strategies should integrate satisfaction, culture, and transparent career management.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of bank performance on stock returns of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2021–2025. Using panel data from 35 banks selected through purposive sampling, the study employs a random-effects regression model. Bank performance is measured by Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Interest Margin (NIM), and Third-Party Funds (DPK). The results show that ROA has a significant negative effect on stock returns, while ROE has a significant positive effect. NIM and DPK have no significant effect. These findings imply that investors should prioritize ROE when evaluating banking stocks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and the Loan-to-Deposit Ratio (LDR) on Return on Assets (ROA) at banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022–2024. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data in the form of banks’ annual financial reports. The sampling technique utilized purposive sampling, resulting in 15 banks selected as the study sample, comprising a total of 45 data observations. The analysis method employed is panel data regression using the Random Effects Model (REM) approach with EViews 13. The results indicate that NPL has a negative and significant effect on ROA. This indicates that as the level of non-performing loans increases, bank profitability tends to decline. Meanwhile, the LDR does not have a significant effect on ROA, suggesting that high levels of credit disbursement do not necessarily improve bank profitability. Simultaneously, both NPL and LDR have a significant effect on ROA.
