Abstract

Penggunaan laboratorium fisika dasar memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Negeri Manado. Namun, keterbatasan panduan eksperimen yang sistematis dan mudah diakses seringkali menjadi kendala dalam pelaksanaan praktikum yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-book panduan eksperimen berbasis FlipHTML5 sebagai sarana pembelajaran interaktif bagi mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Validasi produk dilaksanakan oleh 7 reviewer menggunakan instrumen kuisioner aspek materi, bahasa, dan media, sedangkan kepraktisan diujikan kepada 20 mahasiswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan e-book ini sangat layak dengan skor rerata tiap aspek di atas 4,20 dan sangat praktis dengan skor rerata 4,40. PEKA RASA memudahkan mahasiswa mengakses, memahami dan memberikan instruksi eksperimen yang jelas. Dengan demikian e-book ini berimplikasi pada kualitas pembelajaran laboratorium yang lebih adaptif terhadap kebutuhan digital, berpotensi menjadi media pembelajaran interaktif yang mendukung efektivitas laboratorium dan dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk alat laboratorium lainnya. Development of an e-book guide to basic physics laboratory experiments as an interactive learning tool Abstract: Using a basic physics laboratory has a vital role in improving the competence of Physics Education students at Manado State University. However, the limitations of a systematic and easily accessible experimental guide are often an obstacle to effective practicum implementation. This research aims to develop a FlipHTML5-based experiment guide e-book as an interactive learning tool for students. The method used is the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Product validation was carried out by 7 reviewers using questionnaire instruments on material, language, and media aspects, while practicality was tested on 20 students. The analysis results show that this e-book is very feasible, with an average score of each aspect above 4.20, and very practical, with an average score of 4.40. PEKA RASA makes it easy for students to access, understand, and provide clear experimental instructions. Thus, this e-book has implications for the quality of laboratory learning that is more adaptive to digital needs, has the potential to become an interactive learning media that supports laboratory effectiveness, and can be further developed for other laboratory equipment.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas kompetensi pedagogik guru menjadi aspek krusial dalam menunjang efektivitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi arah dan perkembangan penelitian mengenai kompetensi pedagogik guru berdasarkan publikasi yang terindeks dalam basis data Scopus. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis bibliometrik dengan kriteria inklusi berupa artikel ilmiah berbahasa Inggris yang dipublikasikan pada rentang tahun 1978–2025. Prosedur penelitian mencakup: (1) penentuan kata kunci melalui kajian pustaka, (2) pencarian data menggunakan Boolean operator di Scopus dengan filter bahasa dan dokumen, serta (3) analisis data menggunakan R, RStudio, Microsoft Excel, dan visualisasi melalui VOSviewer. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat 677 publikasi relevan, dengan puncak publikasi pada tahun 2024. Amerika Serikat menjadi negara dengan kontribusi tertinggi, afiliasi terbanyak berasal dari The Education University of Hong Kong, dan penulis paling produktif adalah Galarce-Miranda, C. Temuan ini mengindikasikan meningkatnya perhatian global terhadap kompetensi pedagogik. Penelitian ini memberikan peta literatur yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pengembangan keilmuan dan praktik peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru serta menjadi dasar bagi studi lanjutan. Bibliometric Review: Trends in Competency Pedagogy Research in Scopus Databases Abstract: Improving the quality of teachers' pedagogical competence is a crucial aspect in supporting the effectiveness of learning and student achievement. This study aims to identify the direction and development of research on teachers' pedagogical competence based on publications indexed in the Scopus database. The method used is bibliometric analysis, with inclusion criteria consisting of English-language scientific articles published between 1978 and 2025. The research procedure includes: (1) determining keywords through literature review, (2) data retrieval using Boolean operators in Scopus with language and document filters, and (3) data analysis using R, RStudio, Microsoft Excel, and visualization through VOSviewer. The results show 677 relevant publications, with a peak in 2024. The United States contributed the most publications, with the highest number of affiliations from the Education University of Hong Kong, and the most productive author being Galarce-Miranda, C. These findings indicate a growing global focus on pedagogical competence. This study provides a concise overview of the literature that can be utilized for academic development and practical improvement of teachers’ pedagogical competence, while also serving as a foundation for future research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan eksperimen siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran sains dan teknologi, yang dibingkai dalam teori adaptasi Jean Piaget di SD Negeri Gonilan 02. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, khususnya desain studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data mengikuti model deskriptif interaktif yang dikemukakan oleh Miles dan Huberman, yang melibatkan tahap-tahap seperti pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Mayoritas siswa kelas lima menunjukkan keterampilan eksperimen yang sesuai dengan indikator seperti observasi, klasifikasi, inferensi, komunikasi, dan penggunaan alat/bahan. Sebagian besar siswa (92,71%) mengalami kemajuan melalui tahapan asimilasi, akomodasi, dan ekuilibrasi Piaget selama kegiatan pembelajaran sains. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme selama pembelajaran sains, tetapi kurang menjelaskan materi yang digunakan selama diskusi (12 siswa). Perilaku pasif teramati pada rata-rata 8 siswa (7,29%), yang ditandai dengan diam, melamun, dan bermain sendiri.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan bereksperimen, siswa, pembelajaran sains, dan sekolah dasar Analysis of experimental skills of grade V students in IPAS learning based on Jean Piaget's Adaptation Theory Abstract: This study aims to analyze the experimental skills of fifth-grade students in science and technology learning, framed within Jean Piaget's adaptation theory at SD Negeri Gonilan 02. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, specifically a case study design. The data collection technique in this study is conducted using in-depth interviews and document analysis. Data analysis followed the interactive descriptive model proposed by Miles and Huberman, involving stages such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. A majority of fifth-grade students demonstrated experimental skills aligned with indicators such as observation, classification, inference, communication, and tool/material utilization. Most students (92.71%) progressed through Piaget's stages of assimilation, accommodation, and equilibration during science learning activities. Students exhibited enthusiasm during science learning but lacked explanations for the material used during discussions (12 students). Passive behavior was observed in an average of 8 students (7.29%), characterized by silence, daydreaming, and solitary play.

Abstract

Pendidikan kewirausahaan merupakan salah satu pendekatan proaktif yang baik untuk memotivasi generasi muda agar bisa menjadi seorang wirausaha, namun mempertimbangkan kelestarian lingkungan juga perlu dalam mendirikan usaha sehingga muncullah konsep ecopreneruship. Tujuan penelitian ini menyelidiki hubungan antara pendidikan kewirausahaan dengan niat ecopreneurial mahasiswa pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling yang mendapatkan data 306 mahasiswa UNS dan UNNES yang telah menyelesaikan program pendidikan kewirausahaan. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket yang hasilnya diteliti menggunakan PLS-SEM. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan mempunyai dampak yang cukup besar dan positif terhadap niat ecopreneurship di kalangan mahasiswa pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, studi ini mendukung tujuan pembangunan yang lebih umum berkaitan dengan pendidikan dan kelestarian lingkungan dan juga menawarkan data faktual yang menggambarkan bagaimana pendidikan kewirausahaan mendorong praktik bisnis yang bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan. The role of entrepreneurship education in building ecopreneurship intentions among education students Abstract: Entrepreneurship education serves as a valuable proactive approach to inspire the younger generation to become entrepreneurs. However, it is also crucial to consider environmental sustainability when establishing a business, leading to the emergence of the concept of ecopreneurship. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between entrepreneurship education and ecopreneurial intentions of education students. The method used in this study is quantitative with a sampling technique, namely simple random sampling, which obtained data from 306 UNS and UNNES students who had completed the entrepreneurship education program. The data collection technique used a questionnaire whose results were examined using PLS-SEM. The findings show that entrepreneurship education has a significant and positive impact on ecopreneurship intentions among education students. Therefore, this study supports the more general development goals related to education and environmental sustainability and also offers factual data that illustrates how entrepreneurship education encourages environmentally responsible business practices.

Abstract

Penggunaan model pembelajaran Predict Observe Explain (POE) relevan dan efektif dengan pembelajaran sains. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran POE terhadap keterampilan proses sains pada materi cahaya dan sifat-sifatnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu pretest-posttest control group design. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas V SDN di Kota Surakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling subjek penelitian sebanyak 91 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes berbentuk soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 10 soal berdasarkan indikator keterampilan proses sains. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji hipotesis dan uji N-gain. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh hasil melalui uji Mann-Whitney bahwa nilai Asymp. Sig. (2- tailed) sebesar 0.000 lebih kecil dari nilai probabilitas 0.05. Oleh karena itu, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Ha diterima”, dan didukung dengan analisis N-gain yang diperoleh sebesar 0,51 dengan kategori sedang. Hal demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa ada perbedaan atau pengaruh keterampilan proses sains yang diajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Predict Observe Explain lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. The effect of the Predict Observe Explain learning model on science process skills in elementary school Abstract: The use of the Predict Observe Explain (POE) learning model is relevant and effective for science learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the POE learning model on science process skills on the material of light and its properties. The research method used is the experimental method with the research design, namely, the pretest-posttest control group design. The implementation of this research was carried out in grade V SDN in Surakarta City. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling of research subjects, with as many as 91 students. The data collection technique was carried out with a test in the form of multiple-choice questions as many as 10 questions, based on indicators of science process skills. The data analysis technique used was hypothesis testing and the N-gain test. Based on the research conducted, the results obtained through the Mann-Whitney test show that the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-2-tailed) The value of 0.000 is smaller than the probability value of 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that ‘Ha is accepted’, and supported by the N-gain analysis obtained of 0.51 in the medium category. Thus, it can be said that there is a difference or influence of science process skills taught through the Predict Observe Explain learning model, better than the conventional learning model.

Abstract

Pembelajaran geografi membutuhkan media yang menarik dan interaktif untuk meningkatkan motivasi serta keterlibatan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meng-hasilkan dan mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis Liveworksheets pada mata pelajaran geografi sehingga dapat menarik dan layak untuk digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D), adapun langkah langkah penelitian yang digunakan adalah ADDIE. Hasil penelitian terdiri dari hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media dengan presentase 95,58% dengan kategori sangat valid dan 92,04% dengan kategori sangat valid, sedangkan uji kelayakan oleh pendidik mendapat presentase 100% kategori sangat layak dan dapat diguna-kan. Uji kemenarikan oleh peserta didik mendapat presentase 84% dengan kategori sangat menarik untuk digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesimpulan E-LKPD berbasis Liveworkhseets pada mata pelajaran geografi sangat layak dan sangat menarik untuk diguna-kan sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran. Development of E-LKPD based on Liveworksheets on geography research material Abstract: Geography learning requires engaging and interactive media to enhance students’ motivation and participation. This study aims to produce and develop an E-Worksheet (E-LKPD) based on Liveworksheets for geography subjects so that it is both attractive and feasible for use. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the study include expert validation by subject matter and media experts, yielding scores of 95.58% and 92.04%, respectively, both categorized as highly valid. The feasibility test conducted by educators resulted in a 100% rating, indicating that the product is highly feasible for implementation. Furthermore, the attractiveness test by students reached a score of 84%, categorizing the product as highly engaging. Overall, the findings conclude that the Liveworksheets-based E-LKPD for geography is highly feasible and engaging, making it suitable for use as a learning evaluation tool.

Abstract

Environmental awareness is crucial for fostering responsible behaviors towards the environment, and understanding the variations among different educational settings can inform targeted educational strategies. This study aims to examine differences in environmental awareness among students from three types of secondary educational institutions—Senior High Schools (SMA), Vocational Schools (SMK), and Islamic Senior High Schools (Madrasah Aliyah)—using a descriptive-comparative quantitative approach. Furthermore, it seeks to explore the implications of students’ environmental awareness on the development of their naturalistic intelligence, particularly through experiential learning activities that address real-world ecological challenges. Data had been collected using a structured questionnaire that had been compiled and analyzed using the RASCH program. Based on the results of the analysis using the Ministeps (RASCH) program, 25 items of the environmental awareness rating scale instrument were obtained from 240 subjects from senior high schools, vocational schools, and Madrasah Aliyah. The data analysis technique in this research applied Kruskal-Wallis. The result of this research showed that the level of environmental awareness of students in the public senior high school was higher than Madrasah Aliyah, followed by the vocational school. Increased environmental awareness has the potential to stimulate students' naturalistic intelligence, fostering a deeper understanding of ecological systems and promoting sustainable behaviours through experiential learning activities that address real-world environmental issues.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa semester awal Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar. Metode deskriptif eksploratif diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Institut Pendidikan Indonesia Kota Garut Provinsi Jawa Barat. Teknik pengambilan subjek dengan cara purposive sampling. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Institut Pendidikan Indonesia yang mengambil mata kuliah Konsep Dasar Matematika semester ganjil tahun akademik 2024-2025 yang berjumlah 34 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumen jawaban tertulis peserta dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan memeriksa lembar jawaban tertulis subjek melalui proses pengkodean dan pengelompokan. Sementara itu, data observasi dianalisis melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 79,41% mahasiswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca memahami masalah yang disajikan. Temuan tersebut menggarisbawahi bahwa kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis mahasiswa masih lemah. Profile of mathematical problem-solving ability of primary school teacher prospective students: Preliminary study Abstract: This study aims to analyze and describe the profile of the mathematical problem-solving ability of early semester students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program. The exploratory descriptive method was applied in this study. The population in this study was elementary school teacher education students from the Indonesian Education Institute, Garut City, West Java Province. The subject selection technique was purposive sampling. The subjects in this study were Elementary School Teacher Education Students of the Indonesian Education Institute who took the Basic Concepts of Mathematics course in the odd semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, totaling 34 students. Data collection was carried out through written participant answer documents and interviews. Data were analyzed by examining the subject's written answer sheets through the coding and grouping process. Meanwhile, observation data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that 79.41% of students still had difficulty in reading and understanding the problems presented. The findings underline that students' mathematical problem-solving abilities are still weak.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and identify the factors contributing to gadget addiction in the form of phubbing (phone snubbing) among students at SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological design was employed to capture the lived experiences of the subjects. Data were collected through source and technique triangulation involving nine purposively selected informants: three students, three parents, the vice principal for student affairs, a guidance counselor, and a Pancasila education teacher. The findings indicate that phubbing behavior is driven by both internal and external factors. Internal factors include high intensity of gadget use, habitual patterns, boredom coping strategies, and the need for emotional satisfaction or entertainment. External factors encompass peer influence, easy internet access, and insufficient supervision or regulation from parents and teachers. The study concludes that phubbing among students is a multifaceted behavior shaped by both personal and environmental dynamics, necessitating comprehensive intervention from schools and families.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana umpan balik peserta didik dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas PjBL serta menganalisis respons peserta didik terhadap penerapan model PjBL dalam konteks materi perubahan wujud benda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus, yang melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen untuk mengumpulkan data dari guru dan peserta didik kelas IV SD yang menerapkan PjBL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umpan balik peserta didik berfungsi efektif dalam menyesuaikan metode pengajaran dan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep-konsep abstrak seperti perubahan wujud benda. Penerapan PjBL yang didukung umpan balik juga meningkatkan keterlibatan, motivasi, dan keterampilan abad ke-21 peserta didik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi umpan balik peserta didik dalam pembelajaran berbasis PjBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan keterlibatan peserta didik. Integrating student feedback into PjBL for teaching phase changes of matter Abstract: This study aims to identify how learner feedback can be used to improve the quality of PjBL and analyze learner responses to the application of the PjBL model in the context of material changes in the form of objects. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, which involved observations, interviews, and documents to collect data from teachers and learners of grade IV SD who implemented PjBL. The results showed that learner feedback was effective in adjusting the teaching method and improving the understanding of abstract concepts, such as changes in the form of objects. The implementation of feedback-supported PjBL also improved learners' engagement, motivation, and 21st-century skills. This study concludes that the integration of learner feedback in PjBL-based learning is effective in improving learning quality and learner engagement.
