Abstract

Background: Digital transformation in the health sector aims to improve the quality and efficiency of services. However, the implementation of SIMRS, RME, and SATUSEHAT still faces various obstacles, such as infrastructure limitations, low digital literacy among health workers, and data security issues. Evaluating the effectiveness of digitization and the factors that influence it is important. Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of digital transformation and information management on the efficiency of healthcare services at Hospital B.Methods: This study uses a quantitative correlational approach with a Likert scale questionnaire. A total of 57 respondents from healthcare workers and management were selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after undergoing validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. Results: The majority of respondents were female (63%), had more than 10 years of work experience (58%), and held functional positions (62%). Digital transformation did not significantly affect service efficiency (p = 0.432), while information management had a significant effect (p = 0.012). Both variables explained 19.8% of the variation in service efficiency (R² = 0.198).Conclusion: Hospitals are advised to prioritize strengthening information management through enhancing human resource capacity, integrating information systems, and developing digital infrastructure. Further research is recommended to explore other variables such as organizational culture and digital leadership

Abstract

Background: Pregnancy involved physical, emotional, and social changes, making spousal support crucial in reducing stress, anxiety, and improving maternal quality of life. However, participation of mothers and husbands in prenatal classes in Indonesia remained low. A hybrid education model (online and face-to-face) had the potential to address these limitations. Objective: This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of a digital-based hybrid companion class on improving the quality of life of pregnant women in Magelang City. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with a non-randomized pretest-posttest with control group design. The sample consisted of 60 couples of reproductive age (30 intervention, 30 control) selected through simple random sampling. The hybrid class intervention included modules, educational videos, and mentoring through WhatsApp, conducted in four sessions. Quality of life was measured using WHOQOL-BREF at three time points and analyzed with GLM-RM.Results: The intervention significantly improved the quality of life of pregnant women in the psychological domain (p = 0.001; η² = 69.3%), social domain (p = 0.021; η² = 34.2%), and environmental domain (p = 0.001; η² = 65.7%), while the physical domain was not significant (p = 0.510).Conclusion: The digital-based hybrid companion class was effective in improving the quality of life of pregnant women in psychological, social, and environmental aspects. Integration of the program into antenatal services was recommended to enhance the role of husbands in pregnancy care.

Abstract

Background: Hospital service quality played an important role in improving patient satisfaction and loyalty. However, sustainability, particularly the triple bottom line, became a new challenge in modern hospital management. Several studies demonstrated significant influences of service quality and sustainability on patients' intentions to revisit, yet studies that systematically integrated both aspects, especially in specialist hospitals, remained limited. Objective: This study aimed to examine the relationship between service quality dimensions and sustainability in relation to patient satisfaction and revisit intention, as well as to formulate future research agendas concerning sustainable healthcare services. Methods: Literature was collected using the PRISMA method from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases, covering publications from 2019 to 2025.Results: The analysis indicated that most of the reviewed literature employed the PLS-SEM method to examine the relationship between service quality and patient satisfaction. The findings consistently showed that service quality dimensions affected patient satisfaction, while sustainability dimensions contributed significantly to service perception and patients’ revisit intention. However, studies examining the integration of service quality and the triple bottom line remained scarce. Conclusion: The integration of service quality and sustainability emerged as an important aspect in improving service quality and patient retention. This study provided direction for future research and hospital practices aiming to develop value-oriented service systems with long-term and operational sustainability.

Abstract

Background: Psychosocial hazards are one of the risks that affect the mental health of hospital workers..Objective: This study aimed to assess awareness of psychosocial hazards in health and non-health workers at Dental and Oral Hospitals in Semarang. Methods: This cross-sectional study involved 154 respondents using a Psychosocial Survey of Healthcare Workers questionnaire that was adapted in Indonesian, covering 12 dimensions. The independent variables were age, gender, years of service, unit section, education level, and marital status, while the dependent variable was psychosocial hazard awareness. Results: The results showed that 57.1% of respondents had a good level of awareness of psychosocial hazards. Chi-square analysis showed a significant relationship between age (p=0.006), working period (p=0.002), education level (p=0.020), and marital status (p=0.043) and the level of awareness of psychosocial hazards, while gender and work unit showed no significant relationship. The results of the multivariate test with multiple logistic regression revealed the most significant factors, namely age (0.004) and education level (0.020).Conclusion: This awareness was important to prevent fatigue and mental disorders. Efforts to increase education about psychosocial hazards in the work environment were needed as a preventive measure to maintain the mental health of hospital workers.
