Abstract

Islamic boarding schools have a distinctive characteristic, namely the excellence of students in the task of studying the yellow book, a bald book without meaning. The yellow book has become learning literature in Islamic boarding schools and not all students know directly about Arabic grammar. The al-Miftāh lil ‘Ulūm method can help students learn the basics of the yellow book so that they can more quickly understand the rules of nahw and sharraf. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study type of research. The result of this research are that the al-Miftāh lil ‘Ulūm method is a basic practical method for knowing the yellow book, especially learning Arabic grammar for beginners. This method has offered an alternative effort for Al-Anwar students so that it is easier for them to learn the yellow book and interpret it. This method is quite fun because it contains nazham songs and songs about the material and this is method that is not boring.

Abstract

This research addresses the gap between criminal law policies for corruptors andthe implementation of the Asset Forfeiture Law in Indonesia. Although legal regulations have been established, their implementation remains suboptimal, particularly regarding the recovery of assets illegally obtained by corrupt individuals. Several factors, such as slow legal processes, weak law enforcement, and political instability, hinder the effectiveness of corruption eradication. This highlights the need for reforms in the legal system and law enforcement in Indonesia to ensure a more just and efficient process. This study adopts a normative juridical approach by combining three methods: the Legislative Approach, the Philosophical Approach, and the Asset Forfeiture Ownership Approach in Islamic law. These approaches aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the legal, moral, and religious aspects of asset forfeiture and its implications within the context of modern law. Through this exploration, the research is expected to offer solutions to existing problems while recommending legal reforms to enhance the effectiveness of corruption eradication in Indonesia.

Abstract

This journal explores how the contributions of Frithjof Schuon, a philosopher and mystic, are known for his concept of transcendent unity that emphasises the core unity of all the world's great religious traditions. In his thought, Schuon integrated the teachings of Sufism, especially the concept of wahdat al-wujud (unity of existence), to show that behind the diversity of religions lies one and the same essential truth. Schuon viewed differences in rituals and doctrines as merely manifestations of one transcendent reality. His philosophical approach broadens the understanding of Sufism and shows that mystical experiences in different religious traditions lead individuals towards the same divine unity. The research in this journal is a desk research that focuses on library materials as primary and secondary documents with an analytical-descriptive approach. The results of this study show that Schuon's contribution to the development of Sufism is significant in expanding inter-religious dialogue and enriching Sufism literature. By pointing out the essential similarities between mystical experiences in Islam and other religions, Schuon helped to strengthen inter-religious understanding. His works provided a broader and deeper theoretical framework for studying Sufism, as well as making it more accessible to a wider audience. Schuon's views remain relevant in the study of comparative religion and contemporary spirituality, offering insights into the essential unity of mystical experience across different religious traditions.

Abstract

This paper is based on the pattern of Minister Nasaruddin Umar's initiative to implement a one-semester premarital course aimed at reducing divorce rates, specifically noting that a large percentage of marriages (35%) end in divorce, especially among couples married less than five years. The minister identified economic hardship, the age gap, educational disparities, and interfaith marriages as the main factors leading to divorce. The legal framework prescribes programs prioritizing gender equality and well-being, seeking to address the social challenges posed by divorce and improving marital harmony through structured educational initiatives. The discourse identifies the importance of statistical data in shaping effective policies and programs while emphasizing collaborative efforts between various government ministries to improve household quality and resilience. This analysis uses a Normative Juridical approach, which emphasizes the inventory of positive law, legal doctrine, and historical legal studies, with a focus on regulatory frameworks such as the Minister of Religious Affairs Decree and Law No. 1/2019 on Marriage.

Abstract

The dynamics of da’wa in Indonesia face significant challenges, particularly in aligning traditional methods with the complexities of modern urban society. Traditional approaches, often limited to sermons and religious broadcasting, are considered less effective in addressing the evolving needs of urban communities. Dershane Akhwat Jakarta, a community-based on the teachings of Risalah Nur by Badiuzzaman Said Nursi, offers a contextual and inclusive da’wa model. This study examines the strategies employed by Dershane Akhwat Jakarta, particularly its interactive discussions, text readings, and open dialogues tailored to urban societal needs. The findings reveal that Dershane’s success lies not solely in transferring religious knowledge but in its flexibility to adapt to the participants' spiritual and social needs. This research confirms the validity of moderate da’wa approaches while expanding on their application by emphasizing the importance of social interaction and community engagement. Furthermore, integrating digital technologies emerges as a crucial innovation to engage younger, tech-savvy audiences. This study underscores the positive impact of Dershane’s inclusive methods in enhancing participants' understanding and strengthening community bonds. It advocates for strengthening the Dershane network nationally and internationally and advancing digital innovations to ensure the widespread and sustainable dissemination of Risalah Nur's values.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Collaborative Learning Model starting from the need to create a more interactive learning environment based on cooperation between students. Traditional learning that is more passive, where the teacher is the main source of information, is considered less effective in developing students' social skills, critical thinking, and problem solving abilities. Education is the key to an individual's success. Therefore, we as educators must be able to develop ourselves as whole individuals, as members of society and citizens of the nation. In other words, being able to know ourselves, the surrounding community, and our nation. This introduction process requires the development of cognitive, affective abilities, including imagination and inspiration (Hamid Hasan, 1993: 128). The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the collaborative learning model can significantly increase student literacy, collaborative students have higher literacy, collaboration needs to be applied among students and students in schools. These collaborative learning methods further motivate or encourage students to be active and interactive and work together in completing academic tasks in class. Thus, collaborative learning is fundamentally different from the conventional-traditional approach that has been carried out so far, which is more direct-transfer or one-way transmission model. The conclusion is that learning model research can be used as an alternative to improve literacy. In this case, students become the only source of knowledge or skills. Collaborative learning views the learning process more as learner-centered and not teacher-centered.
