Abstract

The digital revolution has changed the paradigm of contemporary Islamic education, where technological disruption demands profound policy transformation to bridge the gap between traditional Islamic education systems and the demands of the digital age. This phenomenon reflects the dialectic between classical Islamic scholarship and technological modernity, which often poses challenges in maintaining spiritual identity while adopting pedagogical innovations. The urgency of this transformation is increasingly evident with the emergence of the digital divide, where access to technology is uneven, thereby affecting the effectiveness of Islamic values-based learning. This study aims to analyze the transformation of Islamic education policy in the digital era, identify systemic and structural challenges, and formulate applicable and sustainable innovation management strategies. Using a qualitative approach through library research, this study explores the latest literature to provide an in-depth understanding of this phenomenon, with a phenomenological perspective that emphasizes contextual interpretation. The main findings indicate that the primary challenges include resistance to cultural change, limitations in digital infrastructure, and inadequate educator competencies. Key strategies include integrating technology with Islamic values, capacity building through continuous training, and collaborative governance involving multiple stakeholders. The policy implications encourage the development of an adaptive Islamic education model, where technology is not a threat but a means of spiritual and intellectual revitalization. In conclusion, innovation management is a key pillar in the transformation of Islamic education, requiring strategic commitment from stakeholders to overcome challenges and take advantage of digital opportunities. Strategic recommendations include strengthening responsive regulations, investing in infrastructure, and fostering a culture of sustainable innovation. This research contributes to the development of more inclusive and sustainable Islamic education policies, bridging the gap between tradition and modernity in a global context.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology demands a transformation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), yet it faces challenges such as infrastructure inequality, limited digital learning materials, and low teacher digital literacy. This study aims to analyze adaptive learning strategies through the integration of Information Technology and Game-Based Learning (GBL) using Zep Quiz, as well as to describe its design, urgency, and impact. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative to elucidate the role of technology in PAI, supported by the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop) in game design. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the integration of IT and GBL creates flexible (anytime, anywhere) and interactive learning environments. The development of Zep Quiz through the stages of defining, designing, and developing has proven to increase students' motivation, engagement, and understanding of PAI materials. Although challenges such as costs and distraction risks exist, solutions including teacher training, Islamic content validation, and multi-party collaboration are recommended. In conclusion, Zep Quiz-based GBL serves as an effective innovation for internalizing Islamic values contextually in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of singing national and regional songs through the Irama Negeri program as a strategy to enhance the patriotism of elementary school students. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of declining interest and appreciation of students towards national songs and limited appreciation of regional songs, especially amid the trend of digital popular culture. The research uses a qualitative approach with techniques of interviews, observation, and documentation involving upper grade teachers, lower grade teachers, and student representatives from each class. The results show that the habit of singing national and regional songs can be an effective means of instilling the value of love for the country if done consistently and supported by creative learning methods. Teachers play an important role in integrating the meaning of songs through storytelling, visualization, and collaborative activities so that students are able to understand the value of patriotism in concrete terms. Structural support from schools in the form of regular schedules, song guides, and the provision of learning media are important factors in the success of the program. Thus, singing activities can be a strategic instrument in strengthening students' national character from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to identify forms of feminine male behavior in adolescents, analyze the causes and impacts, and test the effectiveness of treatment using the Choice Reality Therapy approach. This study used a case study method with a male student with the initials MFA at SMPN 33 Makassar as the subject. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and individual counseling interventions. The results showed that the subject's feminine behavior was manifested through the use of cosmetics (lip tint and skincare), the use of accessories, and a graceful gait. The main factor causing this behavior was the absence of a father figure (fatherlessness) since childhood, which triggered the subject to model and identify with his mother's gentle behavior. The consequences of this behavior were very significant, namely the subject became the target of verbal bullying (taunted as "sissy"). Experienced social exclusion, and psychological impacts such as feelings of shame, inferiority, and anxiety. Intervention with Reality Counseling through the WDEP (Wants, Doing, Evaluation, Plan) stages proved effective in handling this case. This approach successfully fostered self-awareness and personal responsibility in subjects to evaluate their behavior and develop more realistic and adaptive action plans. This success indicates that Reality Counseling is a relevant strategy for helping adolescents with non-conventional gender expressions achieve healthier adjustment. Abstract

The rapid development of technology and information has brought the world of education into the era of disruption, where learning undergoes significant transformation through digitalization, artificial intelligence, and online platforms. However, these changes also pose serious challenges such as digital access gaps, the decline of social interaction, and crises in critical literacy and media ethics. Formal education, which remains technocratic in orientation, is considered insufficient in fostering critical awareness and social transformation among learners. Therefore, critical and transformative pedagogical approaches become relevant as the foundation of emancipatory education that emphasizes dialogue, reflection, and the empowerment of students as agents of change. This article reviews the concepts of critical pedagogy, transformative pedagogy, and emancipatory education in the context of the disruption era, and stresses the need for liberating and transformative education to face the complex challenges of contemporary education.

Abstract

Twenty-first century education demands assessment systems that evaluate not only cognitive performance but also learners’ ability to apply knowledge, skills, and attitudes in real contexts. Authentic and competency-based assessments offer strategic approaches to achieving comprehensive evaluation. This study aims to analyze their concepts, principles, and implementation in improving learning quality. A systematic literature review of 30 scholarly articles, research reports, and educational policies published within the last decade was conducted. The findings reveal that authentic assessment effectively fosters critical, creative, collaborative, and communicative skills through contextual and real-world tasks. Competency-based assessment, meanwhile, emphasizes the integrated measurement of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies. The integration of both approaches produces a valid, holistic, and relevant assessment model aligned with 21st-century educational and workplace demands. Nonetheless, implementation challenges persist, including limited teacher understanding, the need for continuous professional development, and the creation of objective scoring rubrics. The study recommends strengthening educators’ capacity to design authentic, competency-based assessments and encouraging institutional policy support for effective and sustainable implementation.

Abstract

Rahmi S. Kadir 2025. Exploration of Teachers' Pedagogical Understanding in Implementing Differentiated Learning in Elementary Schools. Thesis, Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Madako University. Supervisor 1: Muh. Khaerul Ummah.BK, Supervisor 2: Moh. Rudini This research is motivated by the diversity of student characteristics, interests, and learning styles that require teachers to implement differentiated learning strategies in elementary schools. This study aims to describe the implementation of differentiated learning based on teachers' pedagogical understanding and analyze the obstacles and challenges faced by teachers at SDN 21 Biau. This study used a qualitative approach with an exploratory method. Data were collected through three techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that teachers' pedagogical understanding of differentiated learning is still limited. Teachers tend to use uniform teaching materials (content), have not fully implemented process strategies that are in accordance with students' learning styles, and product assessments are not oriented to individual student needs. The main obstacles identified include limited infrastructure, lack of technical training on the independent curriculum, the absence of a systematic initial diagnostic assessment, and the school's location far from the training center.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the use of digital media in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning through a qualitative approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) design. A total of 25 national and international articles published between 2020 and 2025 obtained through Google Scholar and reviewed using PRISMA guidelines were used as sources of analysis. The results of the study indicate that the application of technologies such as E-Modules, interactive videos, and web-based applications has a significant impact on improving student learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. However, the implementation of digital media still faces major challenges in the form of infrastructure inequality and low teacher digital skills, which impact the gap in learning quality between urban and rural schools. Therefore, strategic planning is needed to improve educator’s digital literacy and develop technological competencies. Further research is recommended to focus on longitudinal studies to assess the long-term impact of digital media use on student learning outcomes and fitness, as well as strengthening infrastructure regulations and teacher training programs based on the DigCompEdu Framework.
