Abstract

Penanaman nilai empati sejak usia dini merupakan aspek penting dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses internalisasi nilai empati melalui cerita rakyat Bawang Merah Bawang Putih sebagai media pembelajaran karakter di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Cerita rakyat dipilih karena mengandung nilai-nilai moral yang relevan dengan kehidupan sosial siswa, seperti kepedulian, kejujuran, dan kasih sayang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru dapat menginternalisasikan nilai empati melalui kegiatan membaca dan mendiskusikan isi cerita, bermain peran, serta refleksi pengalaman pribadi siswa. Proses ini mendorong siswa untuk memahami perasaan orang lain, menumbuhkan sikap saling menghargai, dan meningkatkan hubungan sosial yang harmonis di lingkungan sekolah. Dengan demikian, penggunaan cerita rakyat sebagai sarana pendidikan karakter terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan nilai empati pada siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Ikatan Mahasiswa Kabupaten Muara Enim Sumatera Selatan (IMMETA Sumsel), particularly the Department of Social Community and Environment, in developing social care and environmental awareness among its members. The background of this study lies in the importance of character education in higher education as an effort to shape a young generation that is responsible, empathetic, and sensitive to social and environmental issues. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, using data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation involving nine informants, consisting of the general chairperson, three administrators of the Department of Social Community and Environment, and five active members as supporting informants. The findings indicate that the Department of Social Community and Environment of IMMETA Sumsel plays a significant role in fostering both social care and environmental awareness among its members. Through various social and environmental activities, the department not only serves as a platform for developing the potential of student members but also as a medium for cultivating character values, particularly those related to social concern and environmental responsibility.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi, dinamika sosial, dan tekanan globalisasi telah memicu krisis identitas pendidikan tinggi Indonesia, yang ditandai oleh disorientasi tujuan institusi, melemahnya budaya ilmiah, dan degradasi nilai moral. Penelitian ini menganalisis krisis tersebut melalui perspektif filsafat ilmu, khususnya dimensi ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi, serta merumuskan pendekatan konseptual untuk memperkuat identitas pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi literatur yaitu menelaah artikel nasional dan internasional melalui proses identifikasi, seleksi, pembacaan mendalam, dan sintesis tematik. Analisis data mengikuti model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana serta diperkuat triangulasi sumber. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa krisis ontologis muncul akibat komersialisasi dan birokratisasi yang menyempitkan makna pendidikan menjadi aktivitas teknokratis. Krisis epistemologis tampak melalui rendahnya literasi akademik, melemahnya budaya riset, dan maraknya plagiarisme yang menggeser pendidikan dari pencarian kebenaran. Krisis aksiologis terlihat dalam menurunnya integritas moral, etika ilmiah, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Sintesis literatur merekomendasikan rekonstruksi ontologis berbasis pemanusiaan, reformasi epistemologis melalui penguatan budaya ilmiah dan integritas akademik, serta revitalisasi aksiologis melalui internalisasi nilai moral dan misi sosial. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa identitas pendidikan tinggi hanya dapat diperkuat melalui integrasi seimbang antara makna, pengetahuan, dan nilai dalam seluruh proses akademik Kata Kunci: Krisis Identitas Pendidikan Tinggi, Filsafat Ilmu, Ontologi, Epistemologi, Aksiologi

Abstract

This study addresses the low reading interest among elementary school students by integrating picture storybooks into drama activities. The research aims to explore strategies for implementing picture storybook literacy through dramatization and to examine students’ responses to this approach. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the study was conducted with fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Kedungsari. Data were collected through participatory observation, documentation, and teacher reflection, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings reveal that the implementation process consists of three stages: preparation, dramatization, and reflection. In the preparation stage, teachers selected age-appropriate picture storybooks and facilitated shared reading sessions to stimulate imagination and comprehension. During dramatization, students adapted the stories into simple scripts and performed them in groups, enhancing verbal expression, creativity, and collaboration. The reflection stage allowed students to discuss moral values and learning experiences, reinforcing comprehension and metacognitive awareness. Results show that students demonstrated high enthusiasm, improved understanding of narrative texts, effective teamwork, and increased confidence in verbal and nonverbal expression. The integration of picture storybook literacy with drama not only strengthened reading skills but also fostered social interaction, empathy, and critical thinking. Overall, this approach proved effective in creating an engaging and meaningful literacy experience, supporting the development of 21st-century skills in elementary education.

Abstract

This study examines the challenges of a multicultural society, especially in Indonesia, which is full of diversity in terms of ethnicity, race, language,religion, socio-economics, and many other aspects. However, the richness of this diversity often gives rise to intolerance in society. Therefore, the education system is capable of ending perceptions of differences between ethnicities, races, ethnicities, languages,religions, socioeconomic status, and other diversities. By fostering this through education, it can be expected to provide a deep understanding of the attitude of tolerance that must be built in a country full of diversity. The research method used by the author is a Systematic LiteratureReview obtained from reference data, journals, and all reference sources. Teaching multicultural values in elementary school is very important in shaping students' personalities to be tolerant and respectful of differences.In elementary education, Social Studies is a subject that is very relevant for applying a multicultural approach. This is because IPS directly discusses various aspects of social, cultural, and economic life, as well as how people interact in a diverse society. Thus, multicultural learning can be an appropriate strategy for improving students' attitudes of tolerance by integrating material on cultural diversity and local wisdom to relate attitudes of tolerance to the differences that occur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan literasi digital terhadap pencegahan penipuan online pada ibu rumah tangga berusia di atas 50 tahun di Kelurahan Bunga Tanjung, Kota Tanjung Balai. Meningkatnya kasus penipuan digital pada kelompok usia lanjut menunjukkan pentingnya literasi digital sebagai langkah preventif agar masyarakat dapat menggunakan teknologi secara aman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu melalui desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 ibu rumah tangga, dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner 25 butir yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data meliputi uji prasyarat (normalitas dan linearitas), uji kecenderungan variabel, serta uji regresi linier sederhana untuk melihat pengaruh antarvariabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi digital peserta berada pada kategori tinggi setelah mengikuti pelatihan, ditunjukkan melalui peningkatan signifikan skor posttest dibandingkan pretest. Pencegahan penipuan online juga mengalami peningkatan secara nyata, serta terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pelatihan literasi digital dan pencegahan penipuan online, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dan thitung > ttabel (8,384 > 2,084). Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan literasi digital efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan kemampuan ibu rumah tangga dalam mengenali serta menghindari penipuan digital. Program pelatihan serupa disarankan untuk dilakukan secara berkelanjutan agar ketahanan digital masyarakat semakin kuat.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low understanding and interest in learning mathematics among fifth grade elementary school students, especially in fractions, as indicated by numeracy achievement that is still below national standards and the dominance of conventional learning methods based on books and worksheets. The purpose of this research is to develop Google Sites-based learning media to improve students' understanding of mathematics and learning interest, and to describe the development process systematically. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, including needs analysis, content and interface design, media development, implementation in experimental and control classes, and pretest-posttest evaluation and analysis with N-Gain. The results of the study indicate that Google Sites media is effective in improving the understanding of fraction concepts, indicated by a high N-Gain in the experimental class (0.91) compared to the control (0.30). This media also increases students' learning interest, motivation, and engagement through interactive visualizations, learning videos, quizzes, and educational games. The contribution of this research is practical and academic: practically, this media can be used as an interactive and independent learning tool; Academically, this research develops a systematic and relevant web-based learning model for the elementary school context, while also serving as a reference for the development of similar digital media.Keywords:

Abstract

The rapid growth of the automotive industry demands ongoing innovation in material engineering to improve vehicle performance and safety. The bumper, as a key structural component, must provide collision protection while supporting fuel efficiency and reducing environmental impact. A major challenge is producing bumpers that are both strong and lightweight, prompting exploration of composite materials. Among natural fibers suitable for composite reinforcement, ramie fiber is a promising candidate. Ramie fiber offers several advantages, including high mechanical strength and relatively low density. The objective of this study is to develop a composite material with high impact strength as an alternative bumper material. An experimental research method was employed, with composite fabrication carried out using the hand lay-up technique. The variables in this study included fiber orientation vertical, horizontal, and random. Volume fraction with variations of 30% fiber and 70% matrix; 45% fiber and 55% matrix; and 60% fiber and 40% matrix. The results indicate that both fiber orientation and volume fraction significantly affect impact strength. The lowest impact strength was observed in specimens with horizontal fiber orientation and a 30% fiber volume fraction, yielding 0.00719 J/mm². The highest impact strength was obtained from specimens with vertical fiber orientation and a 60% fiber volume fraction, reaching 0.05578 J/mm². Based on these findings, ramie fiber composites meeting the minimum impact strength standard for Toyota bumpers are those with a 60% fiber and 40% matrix composition, particularly with random or vertical fiber orientations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk melihat pengaruh edukasi masyarakat dalam pengolahan limbah kertas menjadi kerajinan tangan tehadap pengurangan limbah kertas di Kelurahan Mabar Hilir. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari masyarakat Kelurahan Mabar Hilir yang berusia 18-58 tahun yang berjumlah 2.741 orang. Sampel penelitian berjumlah sebanyak 30 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria yaitu berusia 18-58 tahun, berpartisipasi aktif, dan berasal dari kalangan ekonomi menengah ke bawah. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket hasil edukasi masyarakat, seterusnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa edukasi masyarakat dalam pengolahan limbah kertas menjadi kerajinan tangan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pengurangan limbah kertas di Kelurahan Mabar Hilir. Dengan nilai ttabel pada penelitian ini adalah 1,701 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa thitung > ttabel yaitu sebesar 4,185 > 1,701 dan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,00 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal tersebut menunjukan terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara variabel edukasi masyarakat dalam pengolahan limbah kertas menjadi kerajinan tangan terhadap pengurangan limbah kertas.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the context, input, process, and product of the implementation of the Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) program at SD Negeri Karangduren 02. Conducted comprehensively using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model developed by Stufflebeam, this research is an evaluative study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, document studies, and a Likert scale questionnaire as supporting evidence. The research subjects were the principal, 2 teachers (from upper and lower grades), and 4 students (2 from upper and 2 lower grades), selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that: (1) The context aspect was in the "Very Good" category (100%). The P5 program has a strong policy foundation, aligns with the school's vision and mission, and the "Sustainable Lifestyle" theme is relevant to students' needs. (2) The input aspect was in the "Very Good" category (89.7%). Teacher readiness and learning modules were excellent, although there were some limitations in supporting facilities and infrastructure. (3) The process aspect was in the "Very Good" category (94.4%). The implementation of P5 was effective and collaborative, supported by the teachers' role as facilitators and the principal's regular monitoring. (4) The product aspect was in the "Very Good" category (88.8%). The P5 program successfully fostered the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile in students, as shown by positive behavioral changes such as independence, cooperation, and responsibility, as well as evidence of student work. Overall, the implementation of P5 at SD Negeri Karangduren 02 has been highly effective in shaping student character. The recommendation proposed is to improve facilities and infrastructure to further optimize students' learning experiences.
