Abstract

The problem in this study is that the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the subject of force are still not optimal. The lack of application of learning models and interactive learning media causes the material not to be delivered optimally and has an impact on student learning outcomes, so it is necessary to apply a learning model that can increase student activity and understanding. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by snakes and ladders media on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the subject of force in SD Negeri 49 Banda Aceh.The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research type. The research design used is One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. This research was conducted in fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 49 Banda Aceh. The research sample consisted of all fourth-grade students who were used as the experimental class. The research instrument used was a test of learning outcomes of the science given before the treatment, namely the pretest and after the treatment, namely the posttest. Data analysis techniques were performed using the SPSS program, including normality tests, hypothesis testing using paired sample t-tests, The results of the hypothesis test indicate a significance value <0.05, so H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by snakes and ladders media on student learning outcomes on the material of forces around us in grade IV of SD Negeri 49 Banda Aceh. The results of this study indicate that the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by snakes and ladders media can be used as an alternative to science learning to improve student learning outcomes and activity. Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts of teachers in implementing differentiated learning methods for students with diverse abilities in grade II at SDN 114/VII Bukit Kalimau Ulu I, Batang Asai District, Sarolangun Regency, and to identify the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing these methods. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were the grade II teacher and students at SDN 114/VII Bukit Kalimau Ulu I. The results of the study show that the teacher's efforts in implementing differentiated learning methods are carried out in several ways, namely adjusting learning methods to students' abilities, providing variations of assignments according to the level of students' abilities, giving special attention to students who experience learning difficulties, and using various interesting learning strategies so that all students can participate well in the learning process. Teachers also strive to create a conducive learning atmosphere and provide motivation to students so that they are more active in the learning process. The obstacles faced by teachers in implementing differentiated learning include limited learning time, differences in students' abilities that are quite diverse, and limited supporting facilities and infrastructure. Nevertheless, teachers continue to make efforts to overcome these obstacles by providing additional guidance to students who need it and developing more varied learning strategies. Thus, the implementation of differentiated learning methods can help teachers accommodate differences in students' abilities so that the learning process can take place more effectively and optimally. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the subject of science, especially on the material of forces around us. This is caused by the use of learning media that are less varied so that the learning process becomes less interesting and students are less active in understanding the material presented. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Smart Booklet learning media on the learning outcomes of science on the material of forces around us in fourth-grade students of SDN Dukuh Kupang V Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of a control class and an experimental class. Data collection techniques were carried out through learning outcome tests given before (pretest) and after (posttest) learning. The results showed that in the control class the average pretest score was 69.83 and the average posttest score was 80.50, increasing by 10.67. Meanwhile, in the experimental class the average pretest score was 69.83 and the average posttest score was 86.17, increasing by 16.34. These results indicate that the increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class is higher than the control class. In addition, the results of the hypothesis test using the Independent Sample t-test show a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.012 which is smaller than 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Smart Booklet learning media has a significant and effective effect in improving the learning outcomes of science on the material of forces around us in grade IV students of SDN Dukuh Kupang V Surabaya.

Abstract

The mawashi geri kick is one of the most commonly used attack techniques in karate, especially in kumite numbers. This technique requires strength, speed, balance, and good coordination of the leg muscles so that the kick can be done effectively and accurately. In high-intensity match conditions, athletes often experience muscle fatigue which can affect the quality of technique movements. Muscle fatigue can lead to a decrease in the ability of muscles to produce power, thus having an impact on the speed and power of the kick produced by the athlete. This study aims to determine the effect of muscle fatigue on the performance of mawashi geri kicks in karate athletes in Sorong City. The research method used is a quantitative method with an experimental approach using a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample amounted to 20 karate athletes who actively trained in several dojos in Sorong City and were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Kick performance measurement is carried out twice, namely before and after athletes are given physical activity aimed at causing muscle fatigue. The research data was obtained through the speed and strength test of the mawashi geri kick. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using a statistical paired sample t-test to find out the difference in kick performance before and after muscle fatigue. The results showed that there was a significant decrease in the speed and strength of the mawashi geri kick after athletes experienced muscle fatigue with a significance value of p < 0.05. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that muscle fatigue has a significant effect on the decrease in the performance of mawashi geri kicks in karate athletes in Sorong City. Therefore, coaches need to pay attention to training programs that are able to increase muscle endurance and recovery strategies so that athletes' performance remains optimal during training and matches.

Abstract

The development of early literacy in children aged 5–6 years is a crucial stage in which children begin to build the foundation for reading and writing. At this age, children generally achieve several milestones such as recognizing alphabet letters, understanding phonemic relationships (sounds and symbols), reading simple words, and writing their own names. Children who are involved in puzzle games tend to understand letter symbols more easily and are able to remember them in an enjoyable learning context.The type of research used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The initial observation showed that 5 children (33.33%) were still in the category of Beginning to Develop, 1 child (6.66%) was in the category of Developing as Expected, and 3 children (20%) were in the category of Developing Very Well. After the implementation of the first cycle, there was an improvement in children's literacy skills. Three children (20%) were categorized as Beginning to Develop, five children (33.33%) were categorized as Developing as Expected, and three children (20%) were categorized as Developing Very Well.Based on these results, it can be concluded that although there was an improvement in children's literacy skills in the first cycle, the results had not yet reached the predetermined success indicators. Therefore, the researcher continued to the second cycle to improve the shortcomings found in the previous stage in order to obtain more optimal results. The results of the second cycle showed a significant improvement in children's literacy skills through the use of letter puzzle media. At this stage, eight children (53.33%) were in the category of Developing as Expected and seven children (46.66%) were in the category of Developing Very Well. Therefore, the letter puzzle media was considered appropriate and effective to be used as an innovative learning strategy in developing early literacy skills of young children at TK Kartika II-1 Palembang.

Abstract

Based on observations at Lab School SD Unismuh Makassar, the learning process conducted by teachers, especially in the fifth-grade Pancasila Education class, showed relatively low learning outcomes. This condition occurred because teachers tended to use limited learning media, such as picture media, without actively involving students in the learning process. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to apply a learning model that can improve students’ learning outcomes, namely the Problem Based Learning model. This learning model encourages students to think critically, solve problems, and actively participate in the learning process. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Pancasila Education at SD Unismuh Makassar. The results of the study showed that the average score of students’ learning outcomes in the pretest was 58.05 and increased to 76.36 in the posttest, indicating an improvement in students’ learning outcomes. The hypothesis test results showed that the significance value obtained was 0.000, which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Based on these results, H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model has a significant effect on the Pancasila Education learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Unismuh Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model using AI on student learning outcomes in single variable linear equations in grade VIII at SMP Negeri 7 Mataram in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study consisted of all 410 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Mataram in the 2025/2026 academic year. The sample in this study consisted of 83 students selected using cluster random sampling. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, post-test questions, teaching modules, and student worksheets. The results of data analysis using the t-test showed that the value  dan . Thus, there was a difference in the average post-test scores of students between the experimental class and the control class, where the average post-test score of students in the experimental class was 77.53, higher than the average score of students in the control class, which was 71.02, with an effect size of d=2.7. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Discovery Learning model using AI in the form of the ChatGPT application on student learning outcomes in the subject of single-variable linear equations in class VIII of SMP Negeri 7 Mataram in the 2025/2026 academic year.

Abstract

Embryonic development represents an important reproductive phase of sexually reproducing plant spe cies. The fusion of egg and sperm produces the plant zygote, a totipotent cell that, through cell division and cell identity specification in early embryogenesis, establishes the major cell lineages and tissues of the adult plant. The subsequent morphogenesis phase produces the full-sized embryo, while the late embryogenesis maturation process prepares the seed for dormancy and subsequent germination, ensuring continuation of the plant life cycle. In this review on embryogenesis, we compare the model eudi cot Arabidopsis thaliana with monocot crops, focusing on genome activation, paternal and maternal regu lation of early zygote development, and key organizers of patterning, such as auxin and WOX transcription factors. While the early stages of embryo development areapparently conserved among plant species, embryo maturation programs have diversified between eudicots and monocots. This diversification in crop species reflects the likely effects of domestication on seed quality traits that are determined during embryo maturation, and also assures seed germination in different environmental conditions. This review describes the most important features of embryonic development in plants, and the scope and applications of geno mics in plant embryo studies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of needs assessment in the preparation of the School Work Plan (RKS) at SMP Negeri 3 Martapura. Needs assessment serves as a fundamental basis for data-driven planning and school quality improvement. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis of the School Work Plan (RKS), School Budget Plan (RKAS), School Self-Evaluation, and Education Report data. Informants included the principal, vice principal, RKS drafting team, teachers, and the school committee. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing simultaneously. The findings reveal that needs assessment was conducted systematically through the collection of actual school data, gap analysis between current and expected conditions, and priority setting based on urgency, impact on learning quality, alignment with school vision and mission, and budget availability. The process was participatory, involving teachers, the school committee, and student representatives. The results of the needs assessment were integrated into the RKS in the form of priority programs, performance indicators, achievement targets, and resource allocation. This study proposes a conceptual model of needs assessment characterized by data-based, participatory, and strategic-rational dimensions.

Abstract

The Craftsperson's Strategy in Preserving the Pa’tannun Weaving from Sa'dan North Toraja in the Modern Era. A thesis of the Social Science Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Supervised by Muhammad Zulfadli and Rusdi This study aims to: (1) identify the strategies employed by artisans to preserve and sustain Tenun Pa’tannun as a form of local cultural heritage; and (2) analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that influence these preservation efforts. The preservation of Pa’tannun is essential not only because of its economic value but also due to its symbolic meaning, cultural significance, and its role as an expression of Torajan identity that is increasingly pressured by modernization. The results of the study indicate that (1) artisans implement key strategies to maintain the sustainability of Pa’tannun, including the transmission of traditional weaving skills to younger generations, design innovation and product diversification, as well as the use of digital promotion in the modern era. (2) Based on the SWOT analysis, the main strengths lie in the uniqueness of weaving techniques and the cultural meanings embedded in Pa’tannun, while the identified weaknesses include limited capital and the lack of regeneration among young artisans. Opportunities arise from the increasing public interest in ethnic products and cultural tourism, whereas threats stem from the development of the modern textile industry and the declining interest of younger generations in traditional crafts.
