Abstract

This article presents a systematic literature review with a PRISMA-informed narrative synthesis on the ethical use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) by lower- and upper-secondary students. Searches were directed to Scopus, ERIC, DOAJ, SINTA, and Moraref for publications from 2023 to March 2026, with emphasis on downloadable full texts discussing student use, academic integrity, AI literacy, cognitive implications, and school policy. Forty-five documents met the inclusion criteria. The synthesis identifies three recurrent patterns. First, GenAI is used primarily to accelerate procedural work, including brainstorming, essay revision, translation, step-by-step support in mathematics, and assistance in programming tasks. Second, the boundary between legitimate learning support and academic misconduct is increasingly blurred because GenAI can generate fluent outputs that conceal limited student reasoning and authorship. Third, institutional responses remain uneven; many schools oscillate between prohibition and uncritical adoption while still lacking coherent guidance on disclosure, assessment design, data protection, and teacher development. Overall, the literature suggests that GenAI should be positioned as a supervised learning aid rather than a substitute for students’ intellectual work. For Islamic junior secondary schools and madrasah, the review proposes a character-based AI literacy orientation that aligns responsible technology use with honesty, accountability, verification, and disciplined thinking

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning time management in improving the discipline of elementary school students, as well as to identify the efforts and obstacles encountered in the process. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach. Data were collected from various sources, including books, scientific journals, and research articles relevant to time management and student discipline. The data collection technique was conducted through content analysis of selected literature systematically and critically. The results of the study indicate that learning time management plays a significant role in shaping students’ discipline. Effective time management helps students organize their study schedules, set priorities, and increase responsibility toward tasks and school rules. Furthermore, efforts to optimize time management include the active role of teachers, consistent habituation, and the creation of a conducive learning environment. However, several obstacles were identified, including low student awareness, lack of parental support, and the negative impact of uncontrolled technology use. Therefore, collaboration among teachers, parents, and the school environment is necessary to support the development of student discipline through effective time management. This study is expected to contribute to the development of learning strategies focused on improving the discipline of elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Baamboozle learning media on students' critical thinking skills in elementary school. This research used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research was conducted on fifth-grade students of SDN Nagasari II. Data collection techniques were carried out using pretest and posttest instruments to measure students’ critical thinking abilities before and after the implementation of the Baamboozle media. The data analysis technique used normality tests and paired sample t-tests. The results showed that the use of Baamboozle learning media had a significant effect on improving students' critical thinking skills. This is indicated by the results of the paired sample t-test which showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), meaning that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. Thus, the Baamboozle learning media can be used as an interactive learning medium that helps increase student engagement and supports the development of critical thinking skills in elementary school learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the activity of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in learning to write negotiation texts and to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in learning to write negotiation texts for class X students of SMK Plus Fatahillah Gegesik in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This study uses an experimental method with research subjects, namely 28 class X TKR 2 students as the control class and 28 class X TKJ students as the experimental class. The instruments used in this study are observation and test data. The results of this study show an increase in student learning outcomes based on the results of observations of teacher activities obtaining a score of 3.6 with a very good category and the results of observations of student activities obtaining a score of 2.8 with a good category. It is proven that the Problem Based Learning model can increase student activity. Based on the results of statistical calculations using the independent samples t-test, the t count was 3.334 and the t table was 2.007. So t count 3.334>2.007, this shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It is proven that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is effective in learning to write negotiation texts in class X of SMK Plus Fatahillah Gegesik.

Abstract

Background: The low mastery of basic literacy vocabulary among Phase A students (1st Grade) represents a critical challenge during the preschool transition period. This transition frequently encounters cognitive obstacles that necessitate immediate solutions. The Magical Flash Card media emerges as an innovation to address basic literacy limitations through a concrete approach. Objective: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of visual card media, specifically the "Magical Flash Card," in enhancing vocabulary acquisition through a systematic literature review. Methods: This research employed the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, analyzing 30 primary scientific articles published between 2022 and 2026 from SINTA, Google Scholar, and ERIC databases. Results: Data synthesis indicates that visual card media consistently improves visual word recognition through dual coding and spaced repetition mechanisms. Comparative analysis reveals that despite variations in effectiveness, the use of "Magical Flash Card" yielded an average Normalized Gain (N-Gain) score of 0.41, categorized as "Moderate," reflecting reliable and stable learning progress. Conclusion: Visual card media is proven to be an effective and adaptive cognitive scaffold for the Merdeka Curriculum through joyful, mindful, and meaningful learning approaches, thereby stimulating students' thinking skills more rapidly. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of collaborative concrete media innovation to overcome time constraints and sample limitations in elementary school literacy instruction. Visual card media, particularly the Magical Flash Card innovation, serves as a highly recommended pedagogical instrument for strengthening Phase A basic literacy. Further research is suggested to expand the sample scale and integrate more explorative media design variations

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing moral values through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SD An-Nur, Bengkulu City. The phenomenon of moral degradation among students, such as lack of discipline, low social awareness, and inconsistency in religious behavior, indicates that value internalization has not been optimally achieved. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results show that the internalization of moral values occurs through three stages, namely value transformation, value transaction, and trans-internalization. However, the process has not yet reached an optimal level because there is a gap between students’ cognitive understanding and their actual behavior. Teacher strategies such as role modeling, habituation, advice, and positive reinforcement play an important role, although their effectiveness is influenced by consistency and environmental support. The study concludes that moral value internalization in PAI learning is still not fully effective and requires stronger synergy between teachers, schools, and parents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using diorama media on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of UPT SDN 169 Inpres Parambaddo. This study is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The subjects of the study were all 28 fifth-grade students, with a total sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through written tests, observations, and documentation. The instruments used were learning outcome tests and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and paired sample t-tests. The results showed that the average pretest score of 49.71 was in the low category and had not achieved learning mastery, while the average posttest score increased to 84.86 with a high category and had achieved learning mastery. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value <0.05 so that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of diorama media has a significant effect on the science learning outcomes of class V students at UPT SDN 169 Inpres Parambaddo.

Abstract

Based on the observation results, it was found that the mathematics learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN 21 Sijunjung on the topic of plane figures were still very low. The purpose of this study was to improve students’ learning outcomes in mathematics in the second grade at SDN 21 Sijunjung.This study was a classroom action research consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 15 second-grade students. The research instruments used were observation sheets and test sheets. The results of the study indicate that the application of concrete media in the form of cakes and biscuits shaped like plane figures was proven to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN 21 Sijunjung in the 2025/2026 academic year. In Cycle I, learning mastery was still 33% with an average score of 62.00. However, in Cycle II there was a significant improvement, where mastery reached 87% with the average score increasing to 88.67.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between the results of the End-of-Semester Summative Assessment for the even semester of the Mathematics subject and the self-esteem of third-grade students at public alementary school 2 Mudalrejo for the 2023/2024 academic year. The background of the research arises from initial findings that there are variations in self-esteem among students, such as difficulties in socializing, a lack of courage in making decisions, and differing abilities in managing emotions, despite generally high Mathematics scores. These conditions prompted the researcher to examine whether academic achievement in the fundamentals of Mathematics is related to self-esteem. This research uses a quantitative approach with a simple correlational method. The research sample consisted of all third-grade students, totaling 26 respondents. Data were collected thru a Self-esteem questionnaire adapted from Coopersmith with 53 statement items and documentation of Mathematics report card grades. Data analysis techniques include descriptive statistics, normality tests, linearity tests, and Pearson correlation tests with the help of SPSS Statistics 26. The research results show that students' self-esteem scores range from 18 to 45, with an average of 33.58. Data shows that self-esteem is in the moderate category. The correlation test yielded a r value of 0.086 and a significance of 0.675. The significance value is greater than 0.05, so H0 is accepted. The data indicates that there is no significant relationship between Self-esteem and the ASAS results for the second semester in Mathematics. This indicates that self-esteem is not the main factor influencing academic achievement in the context of this study.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and examine the effectiveness of a contextual-based Arabic Scrabble learning media in improving students’ Mahārah al-Kalām (Arabic speaking skills) at the tenth grade of Darul Iman Islamic Boarding School. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were 24 students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, including expert validation and N-Gain analysis. The results indicated that the contextual-based Arabic Scrabble media achieved a very high validity level with an average percentage of 93%, indicating its feasibility for use in learning. The implementation of the media significantly increased students’ participation, motivation, and confidence in speaking Arabic. Furthermore, the effectiveness test showed a significant improvement in students’ speaking skills, as evidenced by the increase in pre-test and post-test scores. In conclusion, the contextual-based Arabic Scrabble media is proven to be an effective learning innovation that enhances students’ speaking skills in a more interactive, communicative, and meaningful way. This study is expected to serve as a reference for future development of innovative Arabic language learning media.
