Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Education plays a crucial role in developing students' potential, improving their quality of life, and shaping their character in accordance with curriculum demands. In practice, there is still a mismatch between learning strategies and the diverse characteristics of students. Learning that equates student abilities results in low learning outcomes, particularly in mathematics. Therefore, a learning approach that accommodates differences in student abilities, interests, and learning styles is needed, one of which is through differentiated learning. This study aims to determine the effect of differentiated learning on mathematics learning outcomes and to assess student activity in the topic of length measurement using standard units in third-grade students at SDN Dukuh Menanggal I/424 Surabaya. This study used a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental design and a Non-Equivalent Posttest Only Control Group Design. The subjects consisted of class III A as the experimental class, which received differentiated learning, and class III B as the control class, which used a scientific approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through tests and observations. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Based on the Independent Sample T-Test, concluding that differentiated learning influenced students' mathematics learning outcomes. Furthermore, observations of student activity in differentiated learning yielded a total score of 56 out of 60, indicating that student activity was categorized as very active. Thus, differentiated learning has proven effective in improving learning outcomes and student engagement in mathematics learning on length measurement using standard units.

This study aims to analyze the influence of fares, working hours, and bonus incentives on the income of Maxim online transportation drivers in Rantauprapat City. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consists of all active Maxim drivers in Rantauprapat City, with a sample of 85 respondents selected using a random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics. The results show that partially, fares, working hours, and bonuses have a positive and significant effect on the income of Maxim drivers. Simultaneously, these three variables also have a significant effect on drivers’ income. The coefficient of determination indicates that 64.2% of the variation in driver income can be explained by the variables of fares, working hours, and bonuses, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Therefore, reasonable fare policies, optimal working hours, and attractive bonus incentives can contribute to increasing the income of Maxim drivers in Rantauprapat City.

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of micro teaching on the pedagogical competence of prospective physical education teachers. Pedagogical competence is one of the main competencies that must be possessed by prospective teachers, particularly in designing, implementing, and evaluating the learning process effectively. Micro teaching is one of the methods used in teacher education to train teaching skills in a small-scale and controlled setting. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design. The subjects of this study were students of the physical education study program who were taking the micro teaching course. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and teaching performance assessments. The data were analyzed using statistical techniques to determine differences in pedagogical competence before and after the implementation of micro teaching. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of micro teaching has a significant effect on improving the pedagogical competence of prospective physical education teachers. Students showed improvement in their ability to plan lessons, manage the classroom, and use appropriate teaching methods and media. Therefore, micro teaching is effective as a means to improve the quality of prospective physical education teachers.

This study is motivated by the low literacy skills of elementary school students and the importance of optimizing the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka to improve the quality of learning. Literacy encompasses not only reading and writing skills but also critical thinking and the ability to understand information contextually. This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka on students’ literacy skills at SDN 3 Jerowaru. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach through a literature review, examining three relevant scientific journals. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka has a positive impact on improving students’ literacy skills, particularly in reading, writing, and critical thinking. Contextual, flexible, and project-based learning, along with the use of technology and the development of a literacy culture in schools, are key supporting factors. However, several challenges remain, including teacher readiness, limited facilities and infrastructure, and unequal access to learning resources. Therefore, appropriate strategies, improved teacher competencies, and adequate facilities are needed to optimize the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in enhancing students’ literacy skills.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan deskripsi mendalam tentang implementasi pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) berbasis Chromebook untuk siswa kelas tiga di SDN Kedungjambal 04, sekaligus meneliti tantangan, adaptasi siswa, dan strategi guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menangkap fenomena dunia nyata tanpa perlakuan eksperimental. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru dan siswa kelas tiga. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran IPAS berbasis Chromebook mengikuti tiga tahapan: perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Selama implementasi, pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif melalui media digital seperti video YouTube dan visual yang dirancang dengan Canva. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui kuis interaktif di platform Wayground, yang menumbuhkan suasana yang menyenangkan dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Chromebook dalam pembelajaran IPAS memiliki dampak positif pada kualitas pembelajaran. Proses menjadi lebih menarik dan interaktif, membantu siswa memahami materi secara lebih konkret dan bermakna, sehingga mendukung kemajuan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di pendidikan dasar. This research is motivated by the results of field observations, namely the low learning outcomes of students in Pancasila Education learning for grade V at SDN 16 Padang Besi. These problems are indicated by students not working freely and tending to be silent, students participating less in making decisions, ineffective communication between students. In addition, the learning process is still teacher-centered so that students feel bored and tired in the learning process. This study aims to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning using the cooperative learning model of group investigation type assisted by flash cards. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in two cycles, with research procedures consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research data obtained are related to student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning using the cooperative learning model of group investigation type assisted by flash cards. Data collection techniques are in the form of tests and non-tests. The subjects of this study were the class teacher as observer, the researcher as practitioner, and 26 fifth grade students of SDN 16 Padang Besi. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes. The average learning outcome of the attitude aspect of cycle I was 69.92, then increased in cycle II to 84.97, the average learning outcome of the knowledge aspect of cycle I was 84.52, then increased in cycle II to 87.5, the average learning outcome of the skills aspect of cycle I was 73.55, then increased in cycle II to 84.61. Thus, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of group investigation type assisted by flash cards can improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning in fifth grade of SDN 16 Padang Besi.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan berbasis prinsip Good Islamic Governance serta menelaah peran strategis kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan di MTsN 5 Lima Puluh Kota. Studi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya tata kelola pendidikan yang tidak hanya mengutamakan efektivitas manajerial, tetapi juga berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam seperti amanah, syura’, ’adl, dan ihsan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah memainkan peran kunci dalam menciptakan budaya kerja yang transparan, akuntabel, kolaboratif, dan berorientasi mutu. Penerapan prinsip Good Islamic Governance terbukti memperkuat proses perencanaan, pengambilan keputusan, dan evaluasi mutu, sekaligus meningkatkan partisipasi guru serta efektivitas pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi tata kelola Islam dan manajemen mutu modern mampu menghasilkan peningkatan kinerja madrasah secara signifikan.

Learning for students with special needs in inclusive elementary schools still faces challenges in implementing strategies that match diverse student characteristics. Inappropriate use of learning strategies can hinder the learning process and the achievement of inclusive education goals. This study aims to analyze in depth the implementation of learning strategies in inclusive education services for students with special needs at the elementary school level. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of four informants, namely classroom teachers, special education teachers, and shadow teachers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. The instruments used included interview guidelines, observation sheets, and learning documents. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implemented learning strategies are adaptive and differentiated according to students’ individual needs. Teachers combine collaborative, contextual, inquiry-based, and Project-Based Learning strategies by simplifying learning objectives and materials. The use of concrete, visual, and audio-visual media, along with the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEP), serves as a key strategy to enhance students’ understanding. Collaboration between classroom teachers and support teachers also strengthens the effectiveness of the learning process. In conclusion, the implementation of adaptive and individualized learning strategies contributes to more effective inclusive learning. This implies that teachers need to improve their competence in designing differentiated instruction in inclusive elementary schools.

The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged innovation in education, one of which is the use of Augmented Reality (AR) as a learning medium. This study aims to examine the utilization of AR media in science and social studies (IPAS) learning, particularly on the topic of the human digestive system for fifth-grade elementary school students. The method used in this study is a literature review by analyzing various recent studies related to the development and implementation of AR in education. The results of the study indicate that AR-based learning media can enhance students’ learning motivation, conceptual understanding, and critical thinking skills. AR has also proven effective in visualizing abstract concepts into more concrete and interactive forms. Therefore, AR is highly recommended as an innovative learning medium for IPAS in elementary schools. However, the implementation of AR still faces several challenges, such as limited technological devices, lack of teachers’ competence in utilizing technology, and the need for adequate internet access. Thus, support from various stakeholders, including schools and the government, is necessary in providing facilities and training for teachers. In conclusion, Augmented Reality has great potential to be further developed and widely implemented in IPAS learning at the elementary school level to improve the quality of education in the digital era.

This study aims to determine how the application of the Game Based Learning (GBL) learning model to the creative character of 3rd grade students of SDN Kedaung 1. The problems found in the class are that students are still less brave to express ideas, are not active in learning, and are not used to thingking creatively. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 3rd grade teachers and 30 students off class 3C. the results of the study show that the use of game based learning models, especially the Mystery Of Puzzle game, can create a fun learning atmosphere and make students more enthusiastic and brave to express ideas. Students also appear more active and work together in groups. With the Game Based Learning (GBL) learning model, students become more creative in thinking and solving problems in learning. From these results it can be concluded that Game Based Learning (GBL) can be one of the right ways to improve the creative character of 3rd grade students of SDN Kedaung 1.
