Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study examines the implementation of teachers' pedagogical competence in managing learning in the Islamic Religious Education subject at Al-Azhar Mandiri Junior High School Palu, and the impact of teachers' pedagogical competence in managing learning in the Islamic Religious Education subject at Al-Azhar Mandiri Junior High School, Palu. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the implementation of pedagogical competence includes: Understanding student characteristics through diagnostic assessments and direct observation during the learning process. Learning planning and curriculum development through MGMP (Subject Teacher Consultation Forum) to design and prepare teaching modules in determining TP (learning objectives) and ATP (learning objective flow) by adjusting the elements in CP (learning outcomes). The implementation of innovative learning by applying the PJBL method, group discussions, and the use of technology in learning such as Canva and audio-visual media, although it has not yet been fully maximized in the learning process. The implementation of comprehensive evaluations includes diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments. The impact of implementing teachers' pedagogical competence in learning management contributes to the achievement of learning objectives because the learning practices applied are adjusted to the characteristics and needs of students. In addition, there is an improvement in students' character and achievement. These findings indicate that teachers' pedagogical competence has an impact on achieving learning objectives and shaping students' character in accordance with Islamic teachings through continuous training and school support.

This study aims to analyze the level of cognitive presence among lecturers and students in MOOCs-based online learning at ICE Institute using the Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach. The instrument was adapted from the CoI Survey and validated through expert judgment. The respondents consisted of 38 students and 10 lecturers who actively participated in courses at ICE Institute during the odd semester of 2024. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the criterion that respondents had completed at least four weeks of lectures. Data were analyzed using descriptive percentage statistics and proportion difference tests. The results showed that 80% of lecturers were categorized as having a high level of cognitive presence, while only 50% of students reached a similar level. Furthermore, 47.3% of students were categorized at a moderate level and 2.7% at a low level. This 30% gap indicates differences in perception and cognitive capacity between lecturers and students. Lecturers were considered highly competent in designing learning activities based on critical reflection; however, students had not fully utilized these opportunities. The study recommends the need for pedagogical interventions such as cognitive scaffolding, collaborative project-based learning, and self-regulated learning training for MOOCs students.

This study aims to examine the values of Islamic education embedded in the sedekah laut (sea almsgiving) tradition of the coastal community in Palabusa Village and to analyze Islamic perspectives and community responses toward the tradition. This research employed a qualitative approach with an ethnographic design, collecting data through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, with validity tested through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that the sedekah laut tradition contains four Islamic educational values manifested concretely throughout its stages, namely the value of gratitude as a reflection of tawhid, the value of mutual cooperation as an expression of social ethics, the value of brotherhood built through togetherness across all social strata, and the value of cultural preservation as a moral responsibility across generations. Community perspectives on the tradition are divided between those who accept it as an Islamic-compatible practice and those who advocate for adjustments to certain ritual elements to better align with Islamic law. Nevertheless, the community of Palabusa collectively agrees to preserve this tradition as a culturally valuable identity. This research contributes to the development of character education based on local wisdom, relevant to the achievement of SDGs goals 4 and 11.

This research investigates the key factors affecting individuals' intention to adopt Financial Technology (FinTech) services in Indonesia using a quantitative method grounded in the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Data were gathered from 273 respondents through a structured questionnaire. The results indicate that Social Influence, Performance Expectancy, Facilitating Conditions, Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM), System Quality, and Bank Image have positive and significant impacts on the intention to use FinTech services, with System Quality emerging as the strongest predictor, followed by Bank Image and Social Influence. Additionally, Government Support positively moderates the relationship between e-WOM and System Quality with usage intention but does not significantly moderate other relationships. These findings highlight the critical role of system quality, brand reputation, social factors, and government support in promoting FinTech adoption in Indonesia. For future research, it is suggested to incorporate additional variables and utilize a longer research period to gain deeper and more comprehensive insights.

The suboptimal use of interactive media in science education at SDN 2 Sigerongan has led to students being less engaged in the learning process. This study aims to develop an interactive student worksheet based on Liveworksheets for the fifth-grade IPAS subject at SDN 2 Sigerongan that is valid and practical for use in learning. This research employed the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were 24 fifth-grade students of SDN 2 Sigerongan. The instruments used included validation questionnaires for media and material experts, as well as response questionnaires for teachers and students. The results showed that the interactive LKPD based on Liveworksheets obtained a validity percentage of 91% from media experts (very valid) and 91% from material experts (very valid), with an overall average of 91% (very valid). The practicality test results indicated that the teacher response reached 92% while student responses in individual, small group, and large group trials were 91,33%, 91,67%, and 91,87%, respectively, all categorized as very practical. Therefore, the developed Liveworksheets-based interactive LKPD is considered valid and highly practical, making it suitable for use as a learning medium in elementary school IPAS subjects.

This study aims to determine the relationship between authoritarian parenting styles and social anxiety in students of SMA Free Methodist Medan. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The sample consisted of 139 students selected through a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instruments used were a 35-item authoritarian parenting scale and a 32-item social anxiety scale. Both scales have undergone validity and reliability tests, with Cronbach's Alpha coefficients of 0.976 for authoritarian parenting styles and 0.977 for social anxiety, respectively. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between authoritarian parenting styles to social anxiety in students of SMA Free Methodist Medan, which is indicated by a correlation analysis, namely the Pearson Correlation value with a one-way significance level (Sig. 1-tailed) and the results of the analysis show a correlation coefficient value of 0.937 with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05). The regression analysis results showed an F value of 979.522 and p value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This indicates that authoritarian parenting has a strong relationship with the level of social anxiety in SMA Free Methodist Medan students, with an effective contribution of 87.7% (Adjusted R Square = 0.876).

The rapid development of social commerce has significantly transformed how individuals, particularly students, make decisions in digital environments. This study aims to synthesize existing literature on social commerce and student decision-making within educational contexts. A narrative literature review approach was employed by analyzing 20 peer-reviewed articles published between 2010 and 2024, sourced from academic databases such as Scopus, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect. The selected studies were analyzed thematically to identify key determinants influencing decision-making processes. The findings reveal that trust is the most dominant factor shaping student decision-making, followed by social influence, electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM), and platform characteristics. These factors interact within algorithm-driven digital environments, where user-generated content and social interactions significantly affect perception, evaluation, and behavioral intention. The study further highlights that students operate in hybrid digital ecosystems where social interaction, learning processes, and consumption behaviors intersect. As a result, decision-making is not solely an individual cognitive process but a socially mediated and technologically influenced phenomenon. This review contributes to the literature by integrating fragmented findings into a comprehensive framework that explains how social, technological, and behavioral factors collectively shape student decision-making in social commerce contexts. The study also emphasizes the importance of digital literacy and critical thinking skills in enabling students to navigate complex online environments effectively. Future research is recommended to explore algorithmic influence and cross-cultural variations in student behavior within social commerce ecosystems

This study aims to describe the integration of curriculum management in improving the quality of learning at MI Ma’arif NU 001 Palaran. As the core instrument of education, the curriculum requires integrated management to effectively address students’ needs and the challenges of the educational environment. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students. The findings reveal that curriculum management integration at MI Ma’arif NU 001 Palaran is carried out through adaptive program planning, contextual implementation of learning activities, and continuous evaluation. Supporting factors include leadership commitment, teacher participation, and parental involvement, while the main obstacles are limited facilities and diverse student abilities. The integration of curriculum management contributes positively to enhancing learning quality across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. This study recommends strengthening teachers’ capacity in curriculum management and improving supporting facilities to ensure sustainable development of learning quality in madrasah education.

This study aims to analyze multidisciplinary integration within the guidance and counseling paradigm in the post-disciplinary era. A qualitative approach employing a literature review method was used, through the examination of various relevant and current scientific literatures. The findings indicate that the development of the post-disciplinary paradigm encourages guidance and counseling to integrate various disciplines, such as psychology, education, social sciences, culture, spirituality, and technology. This integration enables a more comprehensive understanding of individuals and enhances the effectiveness of counseling services. However, its implementation faces challenges in conceptual aspects, professional competence, and ethics. Therefore, strengthening the theoretical framework and developing counselor competencies are required. This study concludes that a holistic-integrative paradigm serves as a relevant and adaptive direction for the development of guidance and counseling in the post-disciplinary era."

This study aims to determine how much the ability to calculate mathematics through flashcard learning media and to determine the effect of flashcard learning media on the ability to calculate in mathematics subjects. This type of research is Pre-experimental research. With the research design is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study was all students of grade I UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai, which consists of two classes namely class IA and IB. While the sample used in this study was simple cluster sampling. Simple cluster sampling is a random sampling technique from various clusters in a population. The sample taken in this study was class IA as many as 28 students. The research instrument used was a pretest and posttest test sheet. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical data analysis and inferential data analysis. The results of the study showed that the average score of the initial ability test before the application of flashcard learning media (pretest) was 39.28 with a standard deviation of 17.089. From these results, 2 (7.12%) students completed the test and 26 (92.85%) students did not complete it, while the average score after the application of flashcard learning media (posttest) was 84.10 with a standard deviation of 10.71. From these results, 3 (10.71%) students did not complete the test and 25 (89.28%) students completed the test, this means that classical completeness was achieved. This shows that flashcard learning media has a positive effect on improving students' counting abilities. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test test show that the significance value (2-tailed) is <0.000. This significance value is much smaller than the significance level of 0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, indicating that there is a significant difference in students' calculation ability before and after treatment. It can be concluded that the application of flashcard learning media has an effect on improving students' calculation ability.
