Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant effect of using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by CERNA e-magazine on the cognitive learning outcomes of IPA of grade V students of SDN Gunung Sekar 2 Sampang. This research is quantitative research with experimental research type, the research design used is quasi experimental design, and the form of research design used is non-equivalent control group design. The population in the study was the entire fifth grade of SDN Gunung Sekar 2 Sampang, totaling 66 students. The sample used in the study was the fifth grade of SDN Gunung Sekar 2 Sampang which consisted of 32 students in class V-A and 34 students in class V-B. The sampling technique in the study used nonprobability sampling with sampling purposive. The data collection techniques in this study used observation and learning outcome tests. The test instrument used in this study was first tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and distinguishing power. The pre-requisite tests used are normality test and homogeneity test. Hypothesis testing using independent sample t-test. All tests in this study were calculated with the help of IBM SPSS 22. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test data analysis, the sig (2-tailed) value obtained was <0,001< 0,05, so Ho was rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of Problem Based Learning model assisted by CERNA e-magazine on the cognitive learning outcomes of IPA of fifth grade students of SDN Gunung Sekar 2 Sampang.

Abstract

This study analyzes the smoking ethics of Civic Education students of the class of 2022 at Universitas Jambi campus based on Kohlberg's theory of moral development. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving seven informants consisting of three smoking students, two non-smoking students, the Civic Education Program Coordinator, and a security officer. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, validated through triangulation. Results show that the smoking ethics of PPKn class of 2022 students ranges from pre-conventional to conventional levels. At the pre-conventional level, compliance with the Smoke-Free Zone policy is situational and authority-dependent. At the conventional level, students follow group norms informally, using areas such as the student cooperative and the Faculty of Teacher Training and Educationparking lot as informal smoking zones. Post-conventional indicators were practically absent. Contributing factors are divided into internal factors (nicotine addiction, academic stress, social identity motivation, and low moral reasoning) and external factors (peer pressure, weak the Smoke-Free Zone enforcement, minimal no-smoking signage, seniority culture, and absence of intervention programs). These findings suggest the need for stronger the Smoke-Free Zone implementation, more contextual character education, and structured stress management programs.

Abstract

Religious education in early childhood plays a crucial role in shaping the foundations of spiritual understanding, morality, and character. The family, particularly parents, is the first and primary environment that influences the formation of children’s religious values. This study aims to describe the role of parents in instilling religious values in early childhood within the family environment, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in this process. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through interviews and documentation. The findings indicate that parents’ understanding of religious teachings is the main factor that encourages their awareness to actively participate in instilling religious values in children from an early age. This role is manifested through role modeling in worship practices, the habituation of religious behaviors, effective communication, and supervision of children’s digital media use. Supporting factors include parents’ strong expectations for their children’s religious development, parental cooperation in creating a religious family environment, and the availability of Islamic learning media. Meanwhile, the main inhibiting factors include parents’ busy schedules, the influence of gadget use, and a lack of consistency in habituation practices. This study confirms that parental roles have a significant influence on the formation of religious behavior in early childhood.

Abstract

Literature is an art form studied in schools at both primary and secondary levels. One type of literary work studied at the junior high school level is the short story. Short stories often employ language that requires interpretation beyond mere structural meaning, necessitating the integration of contexts outside of the language itself. Therefore, a linguistic approach is needed to interpret short stories, one of which is Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL). This study aims to analyzed and describe how the SFL approach interprets language within a short story. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, providing detailed and systematic explanations. The findings indicate that, contextually, the meaning of a short story can be viewed through cultural and situational contexts. Cultural context pertains to the use of words related to the culture surrounding the production of the language. Meanwhile, within the situational context, the elements of field, tenor, and mode were identified. The Field in the short story "Senyum Karyamin" is evident in the choice of words related to the discourse discussed, such as pengepul (collector), pengumpul (gatherer), kubik (cubic), and so on. Additionally, the study found Tenor, specifically the use of language that illustrates social relationships between characters in the story. Finally, regarding Mode, the study identified both oral and written modes, with the oral mode being apparent in the use of direct quotation.

Abstract

This study presents a systematic review of research on web application development and testing methods conducted between 2021 and 2025 using the PRISMA method. From searches across three databases, namely Garuda, Google Scholar, and Open Alex, a total of 13,642 articles were identified and subsequently filtered down to 20 selected studies. The aim of this study is to identify the development methods, testing methods, system modeling, software, and database systems used in the development of web-based documentation information systems. The findings indicate that the Waterfall method is the most widely applied (65%), followed by the Prototyping and Agile methods. Black Box testing dominates as the primary testing method, while UML serves as the standard for system modeling. PHP-based technology is the most dominant software choice, and MySQL remains the absolute most commonly used database system.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the dimensi profil lulusan embedded within the short story anthology "Tiur dan Poltak," specifically focusing on the selected stories, while outlining their utilization as alternative literary instructional materials. Employing a descriptive design, this research gathered two primary types of data: (1) the inclusion of dimensi profil lulusan within the short stories' narratives and (2) the feasibility assessment of the instructional materials. The first data set was collected through a read-and-record technique using structured guidelines, followed by content analysis. Meanwhile, the validation of the instructional materials was obtained through written assessment instruments and structured interviews. The written assessments were analyzed by calculating the mean scores to determine feasibility levels, whereas the verbal validation was processed through qualitative analysis. The findings reveal that the selected short stories reflect the dimensi profil lulusan. Based on these results, the anthology was developed into a handout-style instructional material for reviewing fiction. The validation results, both written and verbal, demonstrate that the instructional materials are highly feasible for classroom implementation. This study is expected to serve as a scholarly reference for character-based literary analysis and the innovation of instructional materials in schools.

Abstract

Research on mathematics self-efficacy in Indonesia has been widely conducted; however, studies that specifically examine the quality of instruments through rigorous parameter testing remain limited. This study aims to identify valid and reliable items of a mathematics self-efficacy instrument for junior high school students using the Rasch model. The participants consisted of 401 junior high school students from various public and private schools in Serang City, selected using a multistage random sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using the Rasch model with the Rating Scale Model (RSM) approach, supported by JMetrik software. The results showed that out of 37 analyzed items, 32 items were found to be valid and fit the Rasch model, while 5 items were eliminated due to misfit. The 1–4 rating scale functioned optimally with no indication of category disordering. The reliability indices were classified as very high, both for items (0.99) and persons (0.85), indicating good measurement consistency. Furthermore, the instrument demonstrated a good ability to differentiate students’ levels of mathematics self-efficacy, particularly in the low to moderate range. Therefore, the 32-item mathematics self-efficacy instrument is considered appropriate for effectively and objectively measuring junior high school students’ confidence in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Literasi merupakan kompetensi dasar penting bagi siswa sekolah dasar, terutama di era digital yang ditandai dengan tingginya penggunaan gadget yang berdampak pada menurunnya minat baca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi siswa kelas VI SDN 1 Lebaksiuh terhadap pojok baca sebagai alternatif aktivitas belajar positif di tengah dominasi penggunaan gadget. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 21 siswa kelas VI. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki persepsi cukup positif terhadap pojok baca karena dinilai memudahkan akses bahan bacaan di kelas. Namun, pemanfaatannya masih rendah dan bersifat insidental karena siswa lebih cenderung memilih penggunaan gadget yang dianggap lebih menarik dan menghibur. Minat baca siswa juga dipengaruhi oleh jenis bacaan, di mana mereka lebih menyukai buku dengan unsur visual dibandingkan teks panjang. Selain itu, terdapat kesenjangan antara pengetahuan dan kebiasaan membaca, karena meskipun siswa memahami manfaat pojok baca, penggunaannya belum menjadi kebiasaan utama. Rendahnya pemanfaatan pojok baca juga dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan variasi koleksi buku yang tersedia. Dengan demikian, pojok baca memiliki potensi sebagai sarana penguatan literasi, namun memerlukan pengelolaan yang lebih optimal serta penyediaan bahan bacaan yang lebih menarik guna meningkatkan minat baca siswa di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of language activities in improving the language skills of students at the Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Tulungagung, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. The research subjects include instructors, language coordinators, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were conducted through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis utilized the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, and its validity was tested through source triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of kalam activities is conducted in a structured and continuous manner through various language programs, such as morning conversation sessions, vocabulary drills, the application of language immersion, and competitive activities like the weekly language improvement competition. The implementation of these activities is supported by the active role of language coordinators in providing guidance, motivation, and supervision, which aligns with the “actuating” function in management theory. Supporting factors include a conducive language environment, coordinator involvement, diverse programs, and opportunities to participate in language competitions. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include differences in students’ initial proficiency, low self-confidence, limited vocabulary, and non-compliance with language rules. Overall, the implementation of speech activities has proven to effectively contribute to improving students’ speaking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena penyalahgunaan cadar di masa kini dalam perspektif hadis, dengan fokus pada praktik crosshijaber dan tindak pencurian. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka (library research), melalui pengumpulan dan analisis berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyalahgunaan cadar terjadi akibat kurangnya pemahaman terhadap adab dan tujuan syar’i dalam penggunaannya, di mana cadar sering dipandang hanya sebagai penutup wajah semata. Fenomena crosshijaber dan pencurian dengan menggunakan cadar semakin marak, terutama di media sosial dan ruang publik, sehingga menimbulkan stigma negatif terhadap pengguna cadar yang sebenarnya. Dalam perspektif hadis, tindakan menyerupai lawan jenis dan pencurian merupakan perbuatan yang dilarang dalam Islam, sehingga penggunaan cadar untuk tujuan tersebut bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai syariat. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa cadar seharusnya digunakan sebagai bentuk ketaatan dan penjagaan kehormatan, bukan sebagai alat untuk melakukan penyimpangan.
