Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of School-Based Management (SBM) in improving the quality of education through a SWOT analysis approach at SD Tri Murti Denpasar. The research was motivated by the importance of effective school management in supporting educational quality improvement amid increasingly dynamic educational developments and demands. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires involving the principal, teachers, and school stakeholders. The collected data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings revealed that the implementation of School-Based Management at SD Tri Murti Denpasar was categorized as “Good” with a score of 80. The school demonstrated strengths in principal leadership, teacher involvement in school programs, adequate learning facilities, and the utilization of digital learning media. The SWOT analysis results also indicated that the school possesses strong potential to improve educational quality through the support of technological developments and community participation. However, several aspects still require improvement, particularly in program evaluation, administrative management, and stakeholder coordination. Therefore, continuous development strategies are necessary to optimize the effectiveness of School-Based Management and support sustainable educational quality improvement at the school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of school management at SD Negeri Tulangampiang through the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM). The study used a descriptive qualitative approach supported by quantitative descriptive data. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires involving the principal, teachers, and educational staff. The results showed that school management at SD Negeri Tulangampiang had been implemented effectively through democratic leadership, transparent financial management, good coordination among school members, and active community participation. The implementation of the Independent Curriculum also supported the improvement of educational quality in schools. However, several obstacles were still found, including limited educational facilities, administrative challenges, and differences in teacher competencies. Various improvement efforts were continuously carried out through teacher competency development, program evaluation, and strengthening cooperation with stakeholders. Overall, the implementation of School-Based Management had a positive impact on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of educational management at SD Negeri Tulangampiang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of School-Based Management (SBM) implementation in improving the quality of elementary school education at SD Negeri 7 Pedungan. The study employed a mixed methods approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires involving the principal, teachers, and educational staff. The research instrument consisted of 73 indicators covering seven components of School-Based Management, namely curriculum management, student management, human resource management, financial management, facilities and infrastructure management, school-community relationship management, and excellent service management. Quantitative data were analyzed using percentage calculations, while qualitative data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the implementation of School-Based Management at SD Negeri 7 Pedungan achieved a total score of 206 out of a maximum score of 219, with a percentage of 94.1%, categorized as very good. The components of student management and excellent service obtained the highest percentage of 100%, indicating optimal educational management and professional service quality. However, several aspects still require improvement, particularly guidance and counseling services, supervision of learning improvement programs, and strengthening school-community partnerships. Therefore, effective implementation of School-Based Management contributes significantly to improving the quality of elementary education.

Abstract

Archives are important documents that have legal, administrative, and historical value in human life. However, public awareness regarding the importance of family archives is still relatively low, causing many important documents to be damaged, lost, or not properly maintained. The Astrajingga Program (Anjungan Restorasi Arsip Trending Keluarga) initiated by the Department of Archives and Library of Purwakarta Regency is one of the archival service innovations aimed at increasing public awareness and protecting family archives through encapsulation services. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Astrajingga Program in increasing public awareness regarding the importance of family archives in Sindangpanon Village, Purwakarta Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of archival officers, village officials, and community members participating in the Astrajingga Program. The results showed that the implementation of the Astrajingga Program has been carried out quite well through socialization activities, archive restoration services, and direct assistance to the community. The program has a positive impact on increasing community understanding of the importance of protecting family archives. However, several obstacles were found, such as limited public awareness, limited service implementation time, and limited service coverage. Therefore, strengthening socialization, sustainable program implementation, and collaboration between the Archives Office and village government are needed to improve the quality of archival services to the community.

Abstract

Business management and marketing strategies play an important role in increasing consumer interest amid increasingly competitive business competition. This study aims to examine the concepts and principles of business management, marketing strategies in the business world, factors that influence consumer interest, as well as challenges and solutions in business management and marketing. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach by utilizing various relevant literature sources. The results of the study indicate that effective business management must be supported by proper planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision principles so that the business can operate optimally. In addition, marketing strategies such as promotion, product innovation, the use of digital media, and improving service quality have proven effective in attracting consumer interest in products and services offered. Consumer interest is influenced by several factors, including product quality, price, service, consumer needs, and the development of technology and social media. In practice, business owners face various challenges, such as market competition, changes in consumer behavior, limited capital, and lack of digital marketing skills. Therefore, solutions are needed in the form of business innovation, improving the quality of human resources, utilizing digital technology, and implementing creative and adaptive marketing strategies so that businesses can survive and continue to grow. With proper business management and marketing strategies, consumer interest can increase and provide a positive impact on business sustainability and development.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the use conventional media such as textbooks and presentation slides in Informatics learning at grade X of SMAS Adabiah 2 Padang, which have been unable to encourage active student engagement. A survey of 62 grade X students revealed that 71% preffered learning through educational games, while limited acces to the internet and further hindered optimal technology-based learning. This study aimed to develop a Monopoly board game learning medium on the Computer Systems topic in grade X Informatics that is valid, practical, and effective for use in the learning procces. The research employed as a Researche and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, convering the stages of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The resulting product is a Monopoly board game equipped with individual and collaboration question card, asset card, a game board, and a playing guide, all aligned with the Learning Outcomes and Learning Objectives. Validity testing yielded score of 80% on the material aspect (Valid), and an average 94,7% on the media aspect (Very Valid). Practicality testing produced scores of 89% from teachers and 82,4% from student, both classified as Very Practical. Effectiveness testing using the N-gain score generated an average of 69,33%, categorized as Sufficiently Efective in improving student’s cognitive outcomes. These results indicate that the developed medium meets the criteria of valid, practical, and effective, making it suitable for use as a supporting learning medium for Informatics on the Computer Systems topic in grade X of senior high school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of assessment in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SDN Ringinsari, covering the stages of planning, implementation, processing and reporting of assessment results, as well as reflection and follow-up. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with the Islamic Religious Education teacher as the main informant selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the assessment process has generally been implemented in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. Teachers have designed assessments based on learning objectives and utilized diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments supported by digital media such as Quizizz and Kahoot. The processing and reporting of assessment results were conducted through e-Rapor and supported by Microsoft Excel as backup documentation. In addition, teachers carried out reflective practices and follow-up actions through remedial and enrichment programs. However, several challenges remain, particularly in implementing differentiated and authentic assessments for students with diverse learning needs. Therefore, optimization is still needed in developing more systematic assessment instruments, holistic reporting, and adaptive follow-up strategies to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning sustainably.

Abstract

This type of research uses qualitative methods in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior in everyday life. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation methods. Meanwhile, data analysis uses qualitative descriptions, namely through descriptive explanations as conclusions regarding the influence of parenting patterns on student learning achievement (field study at MTs. Raudlatul Jannah Natar). The achievements of these students are inextricably linked to the way parents raise their children. Good parenting styles positively impact both a child's behavior and achievement. Therefore, parenting styles significantly influence a child's intelligence and academic performance. Appropriate parenting styles enhance and develop a child's potential, leading to positive achievement. Keywords: The Influence of Parenting Styles

Abstract

This study is a quantitative research aimed at determining the effect of using interactive PowerPoint as a learning media on students’ learning outcomes in science (IPAS) on the ecosystem topic in class VD of SD Negeri Naikoten 1. This research employed a Pre-Experimental Design with a One Group Pre test Post test Design. The population and sample of this study consisted of 28 students of class VD SD Negeri Naikoten 1 in the 2025/2026 academic year. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Data collection techniques included tests and documentation, with instruments in the form of pretest and posttest consisting of 10 multiple-choice questions that had been validated by experts. The reliability test using Cronbach’s Alpha showed a value of 0.708, which is categorized as high reliability. The results showed that the pretest and posttest data were normally distributed with significance values of 0.119 and 0.123 (> 0.05), and homogeneous with a significance value of 0.910 (> 0.05). The hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T-Test showed a significance (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between students’ learning outcomes before and after the treatment. The mean score increased from 58.93 in the pretest to 77.50 in the posttest. Furthermore, the effect size calculated using Cohen’s d was 2.855, which falls into the very large category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of interactive PowerPoint as a learning media has a significant and highly effective impact on improving students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the status of education has experienced quite good development, however, in reality, several regions still face various educational problems. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG) at each level of education, namely elementary, junior high, and senior high, and to analyze its impact on student learning. Unbalanced student nutritional status is one factor that affects the quality of education. This study uses a quantitative approach with a qualitative descriptive research type. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using Google Form to several respondents at the elementary, junior high, and senior high levels. Poor nutritional conditions significantly impact student concentration, motivation, and activeness during the learning process at school. Therefore, the government launched a Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG) in an effort to improve health and assist students in the learning process. The focus of this research analysis is aimed at the implementation of the MBG program in schools and the responses of those who experienced this program, which is focused on teachers and students. Previous research has shown that the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) has a positive impact on elementary school students' learning. Based on teacher and student questionnaires, the MBG program helps improve students' concentration, motivation, engagement, and readiness for learning. Students become more focused, less sleepy, more enthusiastic about learning, and more active in classroom activities, creating a more conducive and optimal learning environment.
