Abstract

This research investigates improving access, quality and equity in education. Given the urgency of equalizing access and equalizing the quality of education, the government has implemented an education zoning policy. The zoning-based policy is one of the right policies for equalizing access and quality of education because the principle is to bring education services closer to the community and equalize the quality of education. With this policy, it is expected to be able to equalize education. Therefore, equal access, quality and equitable distribution of education are very important because education can produce a society that is ready to face any conditions and conditions.

Abstract

The aim of this project is to implement a Problem Based Teaching Approach (PBL) to improve the academic performance of elementary school pupils in mathematics. The methodology used is Class Action Research (PTK) implemented in two cycles. The cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study participants were students enrolled in class V B at SD 112 Palembang, with a total of 26 students. Information collected through inspection and observation. Research findings suggest that applying the PBL approach can improve mathematical learning performance. The average student score in Cycle I was 66.8, with an accuracy rate of 42%. After upgrading and re-implementing in the Cycle II, the average score rose to 86.8, accompanied by an accurate rate of 88%. This meant a 46% increase in student learning outcomes. These findings suggest that the use of a Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach has proven to be effective in improving mathematical learning performance. This paradigm not only facilitates the learners in solving problems, but also increases the meaning and relevance of learning to everyday life. Active participation of learners in the learning process increases their motivation and improves their learning outcomes. Keywords: learning outcomes, mathematics, Problem Based Learning (PBL)

Abstract

This research describes the financing management of a driving school. Education financing is needed for the operational needs and organization of schools. Effective financing management needs to be carried out by the principal as a manager and the school management team so that the educational objectives in the school are achieved. The purpose of the research was to provide an overview of the sources of funds obtained by the driving schools and the effective financing management of the driving schools. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation with the object of research at SDN 2 Ciulu. The principal, school management team and school committee were the objects of the research. Data analysis techniques are done through data collection and conclusion drawing. The results showed that financing management as a driving school was effective because the management of school aid funds originating from regular school operational assistance and performance school operational assistance had been carried out in accordance with the technical guidelines for the use of school operational assistance funds starting from planning, implementation, reporting, and supervision.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to find out the efforts and challenges that Pancasila and Citizenship Education teachers have gone through in class X of MAN 1 Sumbawa in an effort to improve student learning outcomes. This type of qualitative descriptive research uses observation and interview methods, which were conducted from July to August 2023. The results of the research explain that the efforts made by the teacher to improve student learning outcomes are carried out in the process of lesson planning, implementation of learning and evaluation by explaining the objectives of learning material according to RPP, Creating a conducive and pleasant learning atmosphere, Providing rewards and sanctions, Providing assessments to students, commenting on student work and creating positive competition and cooperation so that students compete to get good grades and results in Civics lessons. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced by the teacher were the lack of students' interest in civics lessons, the class atmosphere was not conducive, students considered learning difficult, the influence of peers and the lack of parental control.

Abstract

Teknologi pembelajaran telah mengubah cara pembelajaran menjadi lebih mudah diakses, meningkatkan efektivitas, serta meningkatkan jangkauan pembelajaran dan membuat pembelajaran lebih personal. Namun, teknologi tersebut belum menyentuh guru dan siswa MIN 8 Tabalong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbantuan articulate storyline untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV MIN 8 Tabalong. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development berdasarkan tahapan Richey and Klein. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 21 orang siswa kelas IV C MIN 8 Tabalong, 2 orang guru kelas IV sebagai validator materi, dan 2 orang praktisi di bidang teknologi pembelajaran sebagai validator media. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen survey dan test. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskripitf berdasarkan persentase skor validasi untuk mengukur kevalidan media dan rumus n-gain untuk mengukur efektifitas media. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan sangat valid dengan skor presentase rata-rata kevalidan materi dan media masing-masing sebesar 97,78% dan 96,35%, serta mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan perhitungan skor persentase ­n-gain sebesar 57,88% yang berarti cukup efektif.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca pemahaman sangat dibutuhkan oleh peserta didik tingkat sekolah dasar dalam menyaring informasi ditengah kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Kemampuan membaca pemahaman di sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah, oleh karena itu harus dilakukan upaya dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan pendidik adalah menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang dapat melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif. Metode yang dapat digunakan ialah speed reading, metode ini melibatkan berbagai metode lainnya seperti metode pengulangan, diskusi dan tanya jawab sebagaimana yang pernah dilakukan oleh Rasulullah SA di zamannya dengan mengkolaborasikan berbagai metode demi tercapainya penyempaian pembelajaran yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana hadis dapat menggabungkan metode speed reading dengan metode pembelajaran lainnya terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian library research. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah metode pembelajaran bisa diintegrasikan melalui hadis dengan metode speed reading terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman.

Abstract

This study is a classroom action study aimed at improving the emotional social skills of students using a problem-based learning model in Class IV B SD State 112 Palembang. Data is collected through observations and field records during the learning process on cycles I and II which covers the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data is analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis of percentages. The subject of this research is a student in Class IV B SD State 112 Palembang in the Teaching Year 2023/2024. The results of the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with emotional social learning showed that the social emotional skills of the participants in the first cycle averaged 61% with high criteria, while in the second cycle the average reached 82% with a very high criterion, so there was an increase of 20%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of problem-based learning can improve the social emotions of the students in the fourth B grade of the State SD 112 Palembang.    Keywords:  learners, problem based learning, social emotional skills

Abstract

The school literacy program is one of the programs to support increasing school literacy skills. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the school literacy program at SDN 4 Cakranegara. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is based on Miles and Huberman's guidelines which begin with reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The sources of informants in this research were teachers and students. The results of data analysis show that the implementation of the school literacy program at SDN 4 Cakranegara went through several stages; implementation stage, namely 15 minute reading activity, class reading corner, wall magazine, library, public involvement, development stage; reading together, learning stages; organizing literacy-based classes, making school literacy team schedules. Supporting factors; the existence of reading books, libraries, school funds, parental support and enthusiasm from school teachers. Obstacle factor; reading has not become a priority habit for students and teachers, new reading sources, some infrastructure is not ready to support literacy programs. The conclusion from this research is that literacy programs in elementary schools can run with the support and initiative of educators, financial support and facilities from the government to help schools realize literacy habits.

Abstract

One of the obstacles in the learning process is the lack of creative, innovative learning media and local wisdom. The aim of this research is to develop cartoon wayang media based on local wisdom of the Mbojo tribe, social studies learning content for fourth grade elementary school students that is valid and practical. The novelty of this research is that it more specifically highlights a tribe, namely the Mbojo tribe, in the wayang cartoon media. This type of research is research and development (R & D) using a 4D model which consists of 4 stages, namely: Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The data collection method uses a questionnaire consisting of a validation questionnaire from material experts and media experts as well as teacher and student response questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of research on cartoon wayang media based on local wisdom of the Mbojo tribe show that the material expert validation test percentage obtained 91% in the very valid category, the media results obtained a percentage of 97% in the valid category, teacher responses obtained an average score of 83% in the very practical category. and student responses were 91.3% in the very practical category. Based on the research objectives above, it can be concluded that wayang learning media based on local wisdom of the Mbojo tribe, social studies learning content for fourth grade students at SDN Sangari is declared very valid and practical for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Lingkungan keluarga memainkan peran penting dalam dunia pendidikan anak. Berbagai permasalahan dalam lingkungan keluarga, seperti konflik, kemiskinan, dan kurangnya dukungan orang tua, dapat berdampak negatif pada motivasi belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya guru dalam mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan keluarga yang dihadapi siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis bagaimana upaya guru dalam mengatasi permasalahan lingkuangan keluarga yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi literatur. Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru dalam menangani permasalahan lingkungan keluarga meliputi membangun komunikasi yang terbuka dengan siswa, melibatkan orang tua dan keluarga, memberikan motivasi kepada siswa serta memberikan bantuan kebutuhan yang dibutuhkan siswa.
