Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penerapan metode struktural analitik sintetik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan dengan berbantuan kartu huruf pada siswa kelas 1 SD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini dlakukan di SDN 80/1 Muara Bulian. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penerapan metode struktural analitik sintetik berbantuan media kartu hururf mampu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada peserta didik. Peningkatan tersebut bisa terlihat pada analisis data setiap siklus pertemuan. Siklus I pertemuan I sebanyak 33%, siklus I pertemuan II sebanyak 41% dengan peningkatan sebesar 8%. Pada siklus II pertemuan I sebanyak 79%, dan siklus II pertemuan II sebanyak 83% mengalami peningkatan sebesar 4%. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan guru mampu meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di kelas, sehingga kemampuan membaca permulaan pada peserta didik dapat meningkat, guru disarankan agar menggunakan media pembelajaran saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Hal ini supaya peserta didik tertarik dan berminat dalam belajar membaca.

Scientific literacy is essential to face the challenges of the 21st century. It must be taught to train students in thinking, analyzing, and collaborating to solve problems. However, according to PISA, the scientific literacy of Indonesian students is categorized as low. This is primarily due to unengaging learning processes. Students need interesting learning media to improve their scientific literacy. One potential medium is a pop-up book based on local culture. This study aims to identify the necessary requirements for developing a pop-up book based on local culture to enhance scientific literacy in elementary schools. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, using observation and interview instruments conducted in Grade V at UPT SDN 207 Gresik. The findings indicate that teachers have not yet used engaging media for ecosystem topics, nor have they incorporated Gresik's local culture into the learning process. Effective learning media should be able to attract students' interest, connect with local culture, promote critical thinking skills, and improve scientific literacy. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that there is a need for learning media that aligns with students' developmental stages. A pop-up book based on local culture can enhance students' interest in learning ecosystems while fostering their understanding of local culture. The development of such a medium is crucial to meet the learning needs of students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter mandiri pada Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan observasi. Pada tahap analisis data menurut pemikiran Stevick, Colaizzi, dan Keen adalah menetapkan lingkup fenomena yang akan diteliti; menyusun daftar pertanyaan; pengumpulan data; dan tahap cluster of meaning. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter mandiri pada Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) dapat melalui strategi modifikasi kurikulum, motivasi, dan pendekatan individual. Penempatan strategis di kelas dan ruang untuk meluapkan emosi membantu ABK fokus. Kolaborasi antara guru dan orang tua berperan penting dalam mendukung konsistensi pembelajaran dan pengembangan tanggung jawab ABK, baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Strategi ini terbukti dapat menanamkan karakter mandiri yaitu: rasa percaya diri, mengatasi masalah, dan tanggung jawab.

Current technological developments have a significant impact on education, especially in the preparation of teaching materials that support 21st century skills, namely the critical thinking aspect. One of the relevant approaches is the application of the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) framework in the development of teaching materials. TPACK integrates technology, pedagogy, content and knowledge to create interactive and relevant learning. This study aims to review the use of TPACK in science teaching materials in elementary schools and how its application affects students' critical thinking skills. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the researcher identified 25 articles from 2018 to 2024, which are relevant to the theme of developing TPACK-based science teaching materials. Based on the results of the analysis, it is shown that TPACK-based teaching materials are effective in improving students' understanding of scientific concepts. From various studies, it is proven that the TPACK model can support and enrich learning through the use of interactive digital media. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the development of TPACK-based teaching materials in basic education can improve the quality of science learning and improve students' critical thinking skills.

This research discusses about research and development method (Research and Development or R&D) using the Borg & Gall approach in the field of education. The R&D method aims to produce new products and test its effectiveness. The development process in this method involves systematic stages such as needs analysis, product design, validation by experts, field trials, revisions, and mass production. This method prioritizes innovation in creating effective solutions to learning problems and improving the quality of education. The distinctive characteristics of this approach are in-depth initial research, development based on findings, testing in real situations, and improvements based on trial results. This research highlights that the R&D method is capable of producing useful products and can be implemented widely in education.

This study aims to map the profile of elementary school students' mathematical abilities in the material of plane figures in the context of the Independent Curriculum. One area that requires a good understanding of mathematical concepts is solving problems involving plane figures. Understanding plane figures as part of basic geometry helps students to understand and interact with the space around them, both practically and theoretically. The Independent Curriculum emphasizes learning that is more flexible, independent, and in accordance with students' needs. In the material of plane figures, students' abilities in identifying shapes, understanding the properties of plane figures, and solving geometric problems are the main focus. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method to analyze the results of students' mathematical ability tests in several elementary schools. The results showed that most students had a basic understanding of plane figures, but had difficulty in more complex geometric reasoning. This study also compared the results with previous studies that showed changes in students' understanding patterns in the context of the Independent Curriculum. Effective teaching strategies, such as problem-based approaches, the use of manipulatives, visualization, and repeated practice, can help students strengthen their understanding of mathematical concepts in the context of plane figures. It is necessary to conduct student-centered learning that is able to develop high-level thinking skills so that students are able to understand the concepts and principles of the material being studied and are able to solve the mathematical problems faced, especially in the material on flat shapes.

The purpose of this study was to produce media, analyze the feasibility of using E-LKPD and analyze student responses to TPACK-based E-LKPD on plant parts material. The researcher used the R&D (research and development) research method. This type of research refers to development research. This research will later produce a certain type of product which will then be tested for the effectiveness of the media that has been made (Bulu & Muhsam, n.d.). The feasibility of the TPACK-based chemistry E-LKPD development product on plant material can be seen based on the validation results by media experts and material experts. The results obtained showed scores of 60 and 75 which were in the very valid category and were feasible to be tested. The results of student responses to the TPACK-based science E-LKPD development product using plant parts material which was tested in small groups with 10 students obtained a percentage of 95% with a very feasible category. So it can be stated that the product developed is feasible to be used as a teaching material. The E-LKPD IPAS product based on TPACK plant material produced is declared feasible,

The purpose of the study was to improve the quality of elementary school social studies learning through the application of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) assisted by Augmented Reality (AR). The research design was adopted from the Kemmis and Taggart spiral design including the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects involved included fifth-grade students of SDN Sendangmulyo 01 Semarang City who were tested and observed. The data collected were then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed a significant increase in teacher skills, student activities, and learning outcomes. Teacher skills showed a significant increase, with an average score of Cycle 1 of 69.64% (good category), Cycle 2 of 73.21% (good), and Cycle 3 of 87.5% (very good). Student activity also increased, with an average score of Cycle 1 of 67.93% (good), Cycle 2 of 73.70% (good), and Cycle 3 of 81.89% (very good). The classical completeness of student learning outcomes showed a stable increase, from 64.85% in Cycle 1 to 75% in Cycle 2, and 85.71% in Cycle 3. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the AR-assisted PBL model is effective in improving the quality of social studies learning, as evidenced by increased teacher skills, student activities, and learning outcomes.

Studi ini menyelidiki perubahan sosial, politik, spiritual, dan pendidikan yang terjadi pada masyarakat arab klasik dari zaman pra-rasul hingga kelahiran islam pada masa rasulullah muhammad. Sebelum kedatangan islam, orang arab hidup di zaman ja hiliyah, yang ditandai oleh politeisme yang mendominasi, ketidakstabilan sosial, dan moral yang rendah. Tidak ada sistem pendidikan formal, dan pengetahuan diajarkan secara lisan. Dengan kedatangan islam, konsep seperti keadilan sosial, persamaan hak, dan tauhid mengubah masyarakat dan politik. Selain itu, agama islam memprioritaskan pendidikan, mendorong pendidikan dan literasi serta mendirikan lembaga pendidikan seperti masjid dan madrasah. Studi ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kepustakaan untuk melihat perubahan yang terjadi dalam masyarakat arab sebelum dan setelah kerasulan nabi muhammad, serta dampak jangka panjang dari perubahan tersebut pada kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan peradaban. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelahiran islam membawa reformasi spiritual serta perkembangan pendidikan dan ilmu pengetahuan, yang memiliki dampak hingga hari ini di seluruh dunia.

Financial literacy is essential for individuals to navigate the complexities of the 21st century, including challenges like online debt. To equip students with the necessary skills, a comprehensive strategy to enhance financial literacy is required. The initial step in this process is to assess the current state of financial literacy among students. This study aimed to describe the financial literacy levels of elementary school students in the Demak Regency. Data was collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations, and was analyzed descriptively. The findings revealed that only 52% of the students practiced independent saving habits, indicating a relatively low level of financial literacy. Although these students may be familiar with basic financial products such as savings accounts, their understanding of broader financial management concepts is limited.
