Abstract

This study aims to examine the representation of native resistance against colonial domination in the novel Di Tepi Kali Bekasi by Pramoedya Ananta Toer through Edward Said's postcolonial perspective. A descriptive qualitative method with repeated reading and note-taking techniques was employed to collect data in the form of words, phrases, sentences, dialogues, and narrations representing colonial domination and native resistance. The data were analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and interpretation based on Said's concept of orientalism. The findings reveal three forms of native resistance to colonial domination: physical resistance through armed struggle, native leadership as a deconstruction of orientalist stereotypes, and collective solidarity as a strategy against colonial hegemony. These three forms represent processes of identity recovery, strengthening of national consciousness, and restoration of native dignity as manifestations of deconstructing the colonial discourse constructed by the West. These findings reinforce the understanding that revolutionary literary works function as a medium of counter-narrative that reveals the complexity of power relations between colonizers and colonized societies, while affirming the relevance of Edward Said's postcolonial theory in reading Indonesian literature on the theme of the independence revolution.

Abstract

Higher-order thinking skills are essential competencies in mathematics learning. This study aimed to describe students' higher-order thinking skills and responses in Artificial Intelligence-assisted Problem-Based Learning based on their initial mathematical ability. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design conducted during the 2025/2026 academic year at SMAN 7 Kota Serang. The participants were 32 students of Class X.1, while three students representing high, moderate, and low levels of initial mathematical ability were purposively selected as the research subjects. Data were collected through higher-order thinking skills tests, observations, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using NVivo. The findings showed that students' higher-order thinking skills differed according to their initial mathematical ability. Students with high initial mathematical ability demonstrated better abilities in analyzing, evaluating, and creating than those with moderate and low initial mathematical ability. In addition, students showed positive cognitive, affective, and behavioral responses throughout the learning process. It can be concluded that Artificial Intelligence-assisted Problem-Based Learning facilitates the development of higher-order thinking skills according to students' initial mathematical ability while fostering positive student responses during mathematics learning.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social commerce platforms in Indonesia, particularly TikTok Shop and Shopee Live, has been accompanied by the increasing use of dark patterns, namely manipulative interface designs intended to influence consumer decisions beyond their conscious awareness. Although dark patterns have been extensively studied in global e-commerce and legal contexts, systematic evidence on how these manipulative designs shape digital consumer behavior within the Indonesian social commerce environment remains limited. This study aims to synthesize and map empirical and conceptual literature on the relationship between dark patterns and digital consumer behavior in social commerce through a Systematic Literature Review guided by the PRISMA 2020 protocol. Literature was identified from Scopus, Google Scholar, and Garuda databases published between 2020 and 2026, using keyword combinations related to dark patterns, social commerce, and consumer behavior. After a four-stage screening process, 27 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed thematically. The findings reveal three dominant dark pattern categories operating in social commerce, namely urgency and scarcity cues, social proof manipulation, and forced continuity mechanisms, which influence consumer behavior primarily through impulsive purchasing, reduced perceived autonomy, and erosion of platform trust, consistent with the Stimulus-Organism-Response framework. The review further identifies a substantial research gap regarding the Indonesian social commerce context, where most existing studies remain descriptive and lack a systematic synthesis grounded in consumer behavior theory. This study contributes a conceptual mapping that can serve as a foundation for future empirical research and for regulatory considerations on consumer protection in Indonesia's digital marketplace.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model assisted by Picker Wheel media on Pendidikan Pancasila learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 066650 Medan Kota. Preliminary data showed that only 40% of the 40 third-grade students reached the minimum mastery criterion (KKTP), indicating low learning outcomes under conventional, teacher-centered instruction. This research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, involving an experimental class (III-B, n=20) taught with NHT assisted by Picker Wheel and a control class (III-A, n=20) taught conventionally, selected through total sampling. The instrument consisted of 30 multiple-choice items, of which 25 items were declared valid (rcount > 0.443) with a reliability coefficient of 0.89 (very high category). Data were analyzed using Jamovi version 2.7 through Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's homogeneity test, and an independent samples t-test. The results showed that the mean score of the experimental class increased from 47.0 (pretest) to 81.6 (posttest), a gain of 34.6 points, with mastery level rising from 0% to 85%. The control class increased from 47.4 to 66.4, a gain of 19.0 points, with mastery rising from 0% to 45%. The independent samples t-test yielded t = 4.37, df = 38, p < 0.001, and a mean difference of 15.2 points, indicating a statistically significant effect. It is concluded that the NHT cooperative learning model assisted by Picker Wheel media has a significant positive effect on the Pendidikan Pancasila learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Early childhood disaster mitigation education requires contextual learning approaches that simultaneously stimulate cognitive development. One relevant approach is experiential learning, which enables children to construct knowledge through direct experience. This study aimed to describe the implementation of experiential learning in stimulating the cognitive development of children aged 5–6 years at the Earthquake Resilience Facility of KidZania Surabaya and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its implementation. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The participants consisted of children aged 5–6 years, accompanying parents or teachers, and the facility's zupervisor. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The findings revealed that role-play activities based on experiential learning provided meaningful learning experiences that stimulated children's learning and problem-solving abilities, logical thinking, and symbolic thinking. The implementation was supported by concrete learning media, a realistic simulation environment, interactive learning equipment, and active guidance from the zupervisor. Meanwhile, differences in children's characteristics, high visitor density, limited activity duration, and technical constraints became the main challenges. These findings indicate that experiential learning offers a contextual learning alternative for stimulating early childhood cognitive development while introducing earthquake disaster mitigation in meaningful and engaging ways

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilization and self-efficacy on students' creativity, with learning innovation positioned as a mediating variable, among students at Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire distributed to 134 respondents selected through random sampling, and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4. The convergent validity test showed that all indicators had outer loading values above 0.70 (range 0.715–0.824), while the reliability test confirmed adequate internal consistency across constructs. Hypothesis testing revealed that AI utilization had a significant direct effect on students' creativity (t = 1.968; p = 0.049) but not on learning innovation (t = 1.197; p = 0.231). Self-efficacy significantly influenced both learning innovation (t = 7.708; p = 0.000) and creativity (t = 3.512; p = 0.000), while learning innovation significantly affected creativity (t = 3.873; p = 0.000). Mediation analysis indicated that learning innovation did not mediate the relationship between AI and creativity (t = 1.070; p = 0.285), but partially mediated the relationship between self-efficacy and creativity (t = 3.497; p = 0.000). These findings suggest that strengthening students' self-efficacy plays a strategic role in fostering both innovative learning behavior and creativity in the era of digital transformation Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan efikasi diri terhadap kreativitas mahasiswa, dengan inovasi belajar sebagai variabel mediasi, pada mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
