Abstract

ABSTRACT This study analyzes the partial and simultaneous effects of the physical and non-physical work environments on employee job satisfaction at PT BP. A quantitative method with a causal-associative approach was applied to 105 employees at a polymer masterbatch company in the Jababeka Industrial Area, Bekasi. A sample of 51 respondents was selected using the Slovin formula at a 10% error level and proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and a five-point Likert questionnaire, then analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t tests, an F test, and the coefficient of determination in SPSS 26. The physical work environment had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (B = 0.602; t = 12.389; p < 0.001), as did the non-physical work environment (B = 0.586; t = 13.532; p < 0.001). Both variables simultaneously affected job satisfaction (F = 322.631; p < 0.001). The R-squared value of 0.931 indicates that the model explains 93.1% of the variation in job satisfaction. Improving physical conditions and social-psychological relations is therefore important for strengthening employee job satisfaction. Keywords: physical work environment, non-physical work environment, job satisfaction

Abstract

Speaking A crucial component of early childhood language development is ability because It helps kids in expressing ideas, experiences, and feelings during everyday interactions. Difficulties in speaking ability were still found among kids of Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina Lubuk Sikaping who are five to six years old, including limited vocabulary, difficulties in constructing simple sentences, limited fluency in answering questions, and low confidence in expressing opinions. These conditions indicate the need for learning media that are engaging and appropriate to children's learning characteristics. The purpose of this study was to ascertain how animated fairy tale movies affected the speaking abilities of youngsters between the ages of five and six. Using a pretest-posttest control group design and a quasi-experimental methodology, the study used a quantitative approach. There were 26 kids involved, including 13 kids in the experimental group and 13 kids in the control group. Observation was used to gather data using a speaking ability assessment instrument and examined utilizing the independent samples t-test, homogeneity, and normalcy methods. The outcomes shown an improvement in this speaking ability from children in this trial group after receiving treatment through animated fairy-tale videos. The mean pretest score for the experimental group rose from 9.23 to 17.77 on the posttest, while the controls group's mean score increased from 9.08 to 14.15. There was a significant difference between the two groups, as indicated by the independent samples t-test's significance value of less than 0.001. Animated fairy-tale videos can therefore be utilized as an alternate teaching method to encourage youngsters between the ages of five and six to talk.

Abstract

This classroom action research addresses the gap between the ideal outcomes expected in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) curriculum and the reality found at UPTD SD Negeri 16 Peusangan, where only half of the fifth-grade students reached the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP) on the ecosystem topic, largely due to teacher-centered lecturing and minimal use of interactive media. This study aimed to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes, teacher and student activity, and student responses through the application of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model assisted by the Wordwall application. The research employed a qualitative-descriptive Classroom Action Research (CAR) design following the Kemmis and Sanjaya model, conducted in two cycles involving 16 fifth-grade students at UPTD SD Negeri 16 Peusangan. Data were collected through tests, observation sheets, and student response questionnaires, then triangulated to ensure validity. The results show that student learning outcomes increased from 62% in Cycle I to 88% in Cycle II, teacher activity rose from 87.5% to 94.5%, student activity rose from 86.5% to 93.5%, and 90% of students gave a very positive response toward the model. It is concluded that the NHT model assisted by Wordwall effectively improves the learning process and outcomes on the ecosystem topic and is recommended as an interactive alternative for elementary science instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of 7th-grade students in the Akidah Akhlak (Islamic Creed and Ethics) subject through the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) cooperative learning model at MTs DDI Bosalia, Jeneponto Regency. The study employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using Kurt Lewin’s model, which consists of the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted over two cycles, involving 31 students and one Akidah Akhlak teacher as subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation, while research instruments consisted of learning outcome tests and student activity observation sheets. Data were analyzed quantitatively to determine average scores and percentages regarding activity and learning outcomes, and qualitatively to describe the learning process. The results indicate that the implementation of the STAD model successfully improved student activity and learning outcomes. Average learning activity increased from 56.00% in the pre-cycle stage to 60.35% in Cycle I and 85.50% in Cycle II. Meanwhile, the average student learning outcome score rose from 83.27 in Cycle I to 88.44 in Cycle II. This improvement demonstrates that instruction using the STAD model fosters a learning environment that is more active, collaborative, and participatory. Students became more enthusiastic, actively engaged in discussions, gained the confidence to ask and answer questions, and demonstrated the ability to cooperate in understanding the material. Thus, the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model can enhance student activity and learning outcomes in the Akidah Akhlak subject for 7th-grade students at MTs DDI Bosalia, Jeneponto Regency.

Abstract

Reading comprehension is a fundamental skill that determines students' success in almost every subject, yet many fourth-grade students still struggle to understand the content of the texts they read. This classroom action research aimed to improve the reading comprehension skills and learning outcomes of 22 fourth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta through the application of sequential picture media (media gambar berseri). The study followed the Kemmis and McTaggart model, implemented in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through reading comprehension tests administered before the intervention (pretest) and at the end of each cycle, supported by classroom observation. The results showed a steady improvement in the average score, from 57.95 in the pretest to 69.32 in Cycle I and 81.59 in Cycle II, with the percentage of students meeting the minimum mastery criterion (KKM) rising from 31.8% to 95.5%. The average normalized gain (N-Gain) reached 0.57, categorized as moderate. These findings indicate that sequential picture media effectively supports students in sequencing, predicting, and summarizing narrative content, thereby strengthening both reading comprehension and overall learning outcomes.

Abstract

Students' learning outcomes are one of the indicators of successful learning processes. A preliminary survey at Public Elementary Schools in Gunung Agung District revealed that 53.52% of students had not achieved the KKTP. This study aimed to determine the effect of principal supervision (X1) and teachers' technological mastery (X2) on students' learning outcomes (Y) using a quantitative ex post facto design with 48 teachers from five schools. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. Findings showed principal supervision had a significant effect (t = 3.332; Sig. = 0.002 < 0.05). Teachers' technological mastery also had a significant effect (t = 6.463; Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables had a significant effect (F = 162.504 > F-table = 3.20; Sig. = 0.000). R-squared = 0.878 indicated that 87.8% of the variance was explained by the two variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Sufistic values contained in Habiburrahman El Shirazy's novel Merindu Baginda Nabi through the perspective of Imam AlGhazali's Sufistic theory. The research is qualitative descriptive employing a literary analysis approach. The primary data source is the novel Merindu Baginda Nabi, while secondary sources include Al-Ghazali's classical works and contemporary scientific articles discussing Islamic mysticism. Data were collected through intensive reading, note-taking, classification, and interpretation based on Al-Ghazali's concepts of taubah (repentance), sabr (patience), syukur (gratitude), tawakal (trust in God), mahabbah (love), ma'rifah (gnosis), and tazkiyatun nafs (purification of the soul). The findings indicate that the novel presents Sufistic values not merely as religious discourse but as a practical way of life embodied by the characters. The spiritual journey portrayed in the novel reflects a gradual process of self-purification leading to spiritual maturity. The longing for the Prophet Muhammad is represented not only as emotional affection but also as ethical imitation through sincere worship, compassion, humility, and social responsibility. Consequently, the novel contributes significantly to contemporary Islamic literature by integrating narrative aesthetics with Sufistic teachings, making spiritual values accessible to modern readers.
