Abstract

This research is based on the low mathematics learning outcomes of grade II students in mathematics learning at SD Negeri II Wonosari. This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics students in grade II by using the kahoot-assisted gamification model. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive. This research consists of 2 cycles using the Kemmis & McTaggart model which includes planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed an increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of the Kahoot-assisted gamification model. In the first cycle, the percentage of students who completed was only 16.67%, in the second cycle it rose to 62.50%, and the percentage of classical completeness had been achieved. This shows that there is an improvement in mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of the Kahoot-assisted gamification model in Year II students of SD Negeri 3 Wonosari.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the validity and practicality of e-modules based on inkuiri, which are complemented by virtual laboratories in the research materials to increase the critical thinking skills of SMA students. This type of research is called research and development (R&D) and it follows the Borg and Gall model, which breaks down several phases into three main stages: research, development, and research. The research instrument is a validation tool used by researchers and practitioners using the Likert scale. The analysis's results indicate that the penilaian scores are in the right category, with the highest scores coming from the categories of material (3,50), media (3,85), bahasa (3,75), and analysis (3,65). Based on the validity and practicality tests, it is concluded that the e-modules are both valid and practical to use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how visual literacy strategies to overcome the crisis of reading interest and reading skills of elementary school students. This research uses a Narrative Literature Review (NLR) approach to analyse various studies that discuss visual literacy and its impact on students' interest in reading in primary schools. He research findings show that visual literacy is very effective in Indonesian language learning, especially in overcoming the reading interest crisis that is commonly found in primary schools. The implementation of visual literacy allows students to learn more interactively, exploratively, and collaboratively, which in turn increases the overall effectiveness of learning. This research suggests that the implementation of visual literacy strategies in Indonesian language learning can be an effective solution to overcome the reading interest crisis in primary schools. By integrating visual media into educational practice, educators can create a more engaging and interactive learning environment that promotes literacy development and critical thinking. This approach not only addresses the issue of reading interest but also helps develop students' cognitive and analytical skills, which are essential for academic success and lifelong learning.

Abstract

In the modern digital era, various distractions that disrupt students’ focus during learning pose a significant challenge. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing scheduled brain breaks in improving the concentration and academic performance of third-grade students in Natural and Social Science subjects at SD N Sondakan 11. The research method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cyrcles, each consisting of phases of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects included 25 students. Data were collected through observations, tests, and questionnaires to measure students’ focus duration from an average of 5-10 minutes to 15-20 minutes and improved the average academic performance scores from 50 to 73.60. this research provides evidence that physical interventions such as brain breaks can positively contribute to enhancing students’ concentration and learning outcomes while recommending educators integrate this technique into daily teaching practices. Therefore, this study is expected to significantly contribute to the development of more effective teaching methodes athe elementary school level.

Abstract

Reading comprehension is an important skill in the learning process, especially at the elementary school level. However, the results of preliminary observations at SDN 076/II Tenam Candi, Bungo Regency show that grade V students have difficulty in understanding the content of reading, especially in finding implied information, organizing information, drawing conclusions, as well as evaluating and appreciating texts. This study aims to improve students’ reading comprehension skills through the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model assisted by the Book Creator application. This research is a Classroom Action Research with qualitative and quantitative approaches conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques included tests and non-tests with research subjects involving the teacher as an observer and 17 fifth-grade students. The research results showed an improvement in reading comprehension skills from cycle I to cycle II. The teaching module assessment score increased from 89.58% (B) in cycle I to 100% (SB) in cycle II. Teacher activity observations improved from 91.08% (SB) to 96.43% (SB), while student activity increased from 83.93% (B) in cycle I to 92.87% (SB) in cycle II. Students’ reading comprehension skills increased from 68.42 (D) in cycle I to 85.63 (B) in cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the CIRC model assisted by the Book Creator application is effective in improving reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 076/II Tenam Candi, Bungo Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya partisipasi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran serta kemampuan berpikir kritis yang masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang guru dan 27 peserta didik kelas IV SDN 10 Bandar Buat pada semester Januari–Juni tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes, dan nontes, meliputi penilaian modul ajar, aktivitas guru dan peserta didik, serta hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Rata-rata penilaian modul ajar meningkat dari 89,58% (Baik) menjadi 95,83% (Sangat Baik). Aktivitas guru meningkat dari 87,49% menjadi 95,83%, dan aktivitas peserta didik dari 81,24% menjadi 91,66%. Hasil belajar peserta didik juga meningkat dari rata-rata 71,94 (Cukup) menjadi 84,25 (Baik), atau naik sebesar 12,31%. Dengan demikian, model kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila pada peserta didik kelas IV.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the concept of education policy issues in Indonesia and Thailand, including the differences and similarities between the two countries. identify the strengths and weaknesses of education policies in Indonesia and Thailand, so that effective solutions can be found to improve the quality of education in both countries. develop recommendations for effective education policies for Indonesia and Thailand, so that they can improve the quality of education in both countries. This research method uses a qualitative approach with the type of Library Research research, namely data taken from journals, books, documents and online literature. The data technique of this research comes from books, journals and scientific articles related to the comparison of the Thai and Indonesian education systems. Data analysis in this study uses Content Analysis technology, namely classifying or grouping data separately related to the discussion of several of several references, then describing, discussing and criticizing them. In addition, classify similar data and analyze the content critically to obtain specific and adequate results. A comparison of education system policies in Indonesia and Thailand shows that both countries have different strengths and weaknesses. Indonesia has strengths in increasing access to education, curriculum development, and improving teacher quality. However, Indonesia still faces weaknesses in limited resources, implementation difficulties, and uneven quality of education. Thailand has strengths in technology development, improving teacher quality, and curriculum development. However, Thailand still faces weaknesses in limited access to education, implementation difficulties, and uneven quality of education.

Abstract

Iconic Cirebon is a city of culture and the city of guardians has a lot of cultural heritage from mentifact, sosifact, and artifacts. One form of culture, artifacts, can be used as a relevant learning resource to get to know Cirebon's local wisdom. Unfortunately, this cultural heritage has not been applied optimally in the learning process. So students do not understand well the variety of local culture of Cirebon. The purpose of this study was to develop and analyze the validity of microlearning learning media with a problem-based learning approach to the content of IPAS local cultural diversity material. The research method used is RnD with the development model used at the analysis, design, and development stages. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation while validity data analysis techniques use media and material feasibility tests. Media validation obtained 83.75% while material validation obtained 82.5% which shows the presentation of Cirebon Mask using microlearning with a PBL approach can increase understanding of local culture contextually, meaningful learning innovations, and foster 21st century skills.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve learning outcomes in identifying main ideas and summarizing texts through mind mapping method implementation among sixth-grade students at SDN 44 Cakranegara in the 2024/2025 academic year. Using Kemmis & McTaggart's model integrated with Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach, the research involved 21 students in two cycles. Initial assessments showed only 32% of students could identify main ideas correctly and 24% could create proper summaries. After implementing mind mapping with CRT approach incorporating local cultural contexts, learning outcomes improved significantly from 48% completion rate in Cycle I (average score 63.8) to 86% in Cycle II (average score 77.1). The research demonstrates that mind mapping effectively enhances critical thinking abilities, reading comprehension, and summarizing skills while promoting active student participation in the learning process. The research reveals that the use of the mind mapping method and the CRT approach effectively improves students' learning outcomes, particularly in enhancing language skills, developing higher-order thinking, and boosting students' motivation to learn in the digital era and Indonesian language education.

Abstract

Implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan dalam penerapannya. Oleh karena itu, evaluasi diperlukan untuk memastikan pelaksanaannya berjalan dengan baik, dimulai dengan mengidentifikasi hambatan serta menentukan solusi yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kendala serta solusi dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SDN Semangat Dalam 3. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat hambatan utama dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka, yaitu: (1) keterbatasan sarana dalam pembelajaran, (2) kesulitan guru dalam menggunakan teknologi, (3) masih adanya pola pikir guru yang cenderung menggunakan metode lama dan bergantung pada buku teks, serta (4) kesiapan peserta didik yang masih rendah dalam belajar secara mandiri. Adapun cara mengatasi hambatan tersebut, sekolah menerapkan berbagai strategi, seperti penggunaan sarana pembelajaran secara bergilir, pembentukan komunitas belajar guru, pelatihan penggunaan teknologi, serta penerapan metode pembelajaran aktif dan diferensiasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kendala-kendala tersebut dapat diminimalisir dengan kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, dan pihak terkait guna mendukung penerapan kurikulum secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan sebagai rujukan praktis bagi sekolah dasar lainnya dalam menerapkan kurikulum merdeka secara lebih efektif, dengan menyesuaikan kebutuhan dan kondisi masing-masing sekolah.
