Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Freedom of the press is an important pillar in a democratic country, which makes it easier for the public to obtain accurate and relevant information, as well as to control government performance. However, in Indonesia press freedom has quite complicated challenges due to the emergence of the ITE Law (Information and Electronics Law). Therefore, this research aims to examine the role of law on press freedom, especially looking at the ITE Law and its impact on the democratic system in Indonesia. The method used in this research is literature study or library research using books, articles, journals and other related literature. The results of this research show that articles in the ITE Law, such as defamation and the spread of news whose truth is unclear (hoaxes), are often used to blame or harm journalists and media who are vocal about the performance of the government or certain groups. This causes a feeling of fear (chilling effect) which inhibits journalism and freedom of expression. Furthermore, this research examines that the use of the ITE Law will suppress press freedom which can cause loss of access to important information for society and political participation. This research suggests that there is a need for improvements in the ITE Law to clarify the limits on press freedom, as well as increase protection for journalists and media who carry out their duties according to the journalistic code of ethics

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan tradisi bekarang di Desa Pasar Terusan, Kabupaten Batang Hari, dan untuk mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai budaya dan kearifan lokal yang terkandung di dalamnya. Bekarang, kegiatan menangkap ikan secara komunal, memiliki makna sosial, spiritual, dan ekologis bagi masyarakat setempat. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa bekarang mempromosikan nilai-nilai seperti kebersamaan, pengelolaan sumber daya yang berkelanjutan, dan rasa terima kasih kepada alam. Meskipun terus dipraktikkan, tantangan seperti menurunnya minat kaum muda dan kurangnya dokumentasi yang sistematis mengancam kelestariannya. Selain itu, tradisi ini memiliki potensi untuk diintegrasikan ke dalam pendidikan seni budaya sekolah dasar, menawarkan pengalaman belajar kontekstual yang menumbuhkan kreativitas, memperkuat identitas lokal, dan mengembangkan karakter siswa. Oleh karena itu, pelestarian warisan budaya tidak hanya penting bagi kelangsungan budaya tetapi juga relevan dengan pengembangan pendidikan berdasarkan nilai-nilai lokal.

This study aims to identify and analyze various problems faced by first-grade students at SDN Ngoresan in developing their writing skills. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and documentation of students' written work. The findings indicate that the problems related to writing skills among first-grade students include limited fine motor skills, lack of vocabulary, monotonous teaching methods, and insufficient support from both school and home learning environments. The study recommends the use of creative teaching approaches, increased parental involvement, and the strengthening of early literacy culture to overcome these challenges.

The impact of role-playing training aided by audiovisual media on the academic performance of fourth-grade elementary school pupils in Civic Education is examined in this quasiexperimental study. Two fourth-grade classes from SDN Dukuh Kupang II Surabaya made up the sample; one class was The experimental group as well as the other was The group under control. A multiple-choice test consisting of ten items was used to gather data. The findings Of the self-sufficient samples T-Test revealed a statistically significant difference in the learning outcomes between the control and experimental groups, with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The results indicate that fourth-grade elementary school students' academic performance in Civic Education is positively impacted by role-playing training supported by audiovisual materials.

This study aims to determine the background of teachers in utilizing YouTube social media in learning at SMPN 1 Reteh Riau. To determine the practice of utilizing YouTube social media in learning Islamic Religious Education at SMPN 1 Reteh Riau. To determine the contribution of utilizing YouTube social media in increasing students' interest in learning Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMPN 1 Reteh Riau The approach used in this study is to use a descriptive qualitative approach with the Snowball Sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data are analyzed by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data using data triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Background of Teachers in Utilizing Youtube Social Media in Learning at SMPN 1 Reteh Riau consists of three main reasons, the first is that it has become a demand of the times, the second can accelerate student understanding and the third is the flexibility of time and place. Then the practice of utilizing YouTube social media in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMPN 1 Reteh Riau consists of three main steps, the first is preparing computer equipment and ensuring internet network readiness, the second is determining the YouTube link according to the learning material and the third is playing videos and explaining the learning material. Meanwhile, the contribution of utilizing YouTube social media in increasing students' interest in learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMPN 1 Reteh Riau consists of four most noticeable contributions, the first is increasing students' interest in learning, the second is accelerating students' understanding of the material being taught, the third is lightening the teacher's task and the fourth is creating a fun learning atmosphere.

This study discusses the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka and various challenges faced by teachers and students in the teaching and learning process as well as in conducting assessments. Teachers encounter obstacles in adapting instructional strategies to meet students’ needs, especially in selecting appropriate learning materials and fostering an effective learning environment. Meanwhile, students face issues such as anxiety, poor time management, and low motivation in understanding the subject matter. These challenges directly impact their assessment performance. Therefore, it is essential for teachers to apply interactive and adaptive learning methods and provide emotional support to boost students' confidence. This study offers an overview of how pedagogical and psychological factors interact to influence the success of assessments in the context of the Kurikulum Merdeka.

This study aims to produce a product in the form of monopoly learning media in the subject of science, the material of parts of the earth for grade V at SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi and to determine the feasibility of the product developed. This study uses a research and development method (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi with the research subjects of grade V Al-Mu'min students of SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi in the 2024/2025 academic year totaling 26 students. Data collection techniques or instruments used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The test instrument consisted of a pretest and posttest which were used to determine the effectiveness of the product. The data analysis used was feasibility analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis. The results of this study are: 1) Producing a product in the form of Monopoly Learning Media in the Subject of Science, the Material of Parts of the Earth for Grade V at SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi; 2) Product feasibility includes validity, practicality and effectiveness, namely: a) Product validity obtained an average percentage of 92.5% with the criteria of "very feasible". Product practicality obtained an average percentage of 85.96% with the criteria of "very practical". Effectiveness obtained an average percentage of 73.15% with the criteria of "effective".

E-guidebook merupakan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis elektronik yang berisi panduan, instruksi, maupun petunjuk mengenai suatu topik atau aktivitas tertentu. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah mengembangkan produk berupa bahan ajar e-guidebook seni ventriloquist. E-guidebook seni ventriloquist merupakan buku panduan digital yang dirancang untuk mengajarkan teknik ventriloquist, yaitu kemampuan berbicara tanpa menggerakkan bibir. E-guidebook yang dikembangkan menyajikan materi dan latihan-latihan praktis yang dapat melatih keterampilan verbal siswa. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kelayakan dan kepraktisan dari produk yang telah dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) atau pengembangan. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah ADDIE dengan 5 tahap meliputi Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SDN 2 Majangtengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar e-guidebook seni ventriloquist layak dan praktis untuk digunakan. Penilian oleh validator ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media mendapatkan presentase 81% dengan kategori “layak”. Penilaian oleh guru kelas VI mendapatakan presentase 91%. Serta rata-rata penilaian oleh siswa mendapatkan presentase sebesar 87%. Berdasarkan paparan hasil penilaian maka bahan ajar e-guidebook seni ventriloquist “Layak” dan “Sangat Praktis” digunakan di lapangan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk meningkatkan kecakapan literasi verbal siswa kelas VI.

In writing this research is motivated by the low interest in learning science in grade IV students, so the author is moved to examine what causes the low interest in learning science, the alternative used in this study is to use animation media during the learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of using genially media on students' interest in learning science. This type of research is an experimental study with a quasi-experimental design, with the hypothesis that there is an effect of genially media on students' interest in learning science in grade IV students. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of using genially media on interest in learning science in grade IV students. This is evident from the results of the calculation of the experimental class value of 82.07, and the class of the calculation of the control class value of 76.79. With the difference in the experimental class and the control class, namely 2.6 with a t-count of 2.608 and an F-count of 0.600 and also a significance value of 0.012 is smaller than 0.05 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul interaktif dengan topik perubahan iklim untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi . Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui validasi ahli materi dan angket respon siswa untuk mengeluarkan modul kelayakan dan kepraktisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan mendapatkan persentase validasi dari ahli materi sebesar 87,5% dengan kategori sangat layak. Sementara itu, hasil angket respon siswa mencapai 91,75%, yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Observasi selama implementasi juga menunjukkan antusiasme siswa yang tinggi dalam menggunakan e-modul sebagai sumber belajar. Oleh karena itu, e-modul interaktif topik perubahan iklim untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar dapat dianggap sangat layak dan sangat praktis digunakan sebagai bahan terbuka dalam pembelajaran di kelas.
