Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan metode bernyanyi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata Bahasa Inggris pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Tunas Bangsa Bulujuran Lor Tegalsiwalan Probolinggo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 siswa kelompok B yang terdiri dari 14 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama lima pertemuan pada bulan Februari hingga April 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode bernyanyi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata Bahasa Inggris anak. Anak-anak lebih mudah mengingat dan melafalkan kosakata baru ketika pembelajaran dilakukan dengan bernyanyi, karena metode ini menyenangkan dan melibatkan elemen musik yang disukai oleh anak-anak. Kosakata yang diajarkan meliputi kosakata dasar, kosakata umum, dan kosakata khusus, seperti anggota keluarga, nama-nama binatang, buah, waktu, dan warna. Proses pembelajaran yang interaktif dan berulang juga mempermudah anak dalam menguasai kosakata tersebut. Selain itu, pembelajaran melalui bernyanyi juga meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan emosional anak, seperti rasa percaya diri dan kemampuan berinteraksi dengan teman-teman serta guru. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode bernyanyi merupakan metode yang efektif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan sesuai dengan karakteristik anak usia 5-6 tahun, serta memberikan alternatif bagi guru untuk memperkenalkan Bahasa Inggris secara kreatif dan efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying Case Based Learning to improve Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of SMAN 4 Pariaman students. This research uses the Quasy Experiment method with a quantitative approach and this research design uses Pre-test - Post-test Control Group Design. The study population was class X students in the 2024/2025 academic year with a total of 244 students from 7 classes. The research sample consisted of class X.E3 as the control class and class X.E1 as the experimental class selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and tests. The results showed the average Pre-test of the experimental class was 54.87 and Post-test was 83.53, while the control class obtained Pre-test 58.65 and Post-test 76.93. There was a significant increase in the experimental class. The Paired Sample T-Test test results show a significance level (sig) of 0.001. Because this significance value is smaller than 0.05, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' interest in learning Pancasila Education subjects, especially the material on the meaning of the Pancasila principles in society, through the use of the learning media "The Magic Book of Pancasila". This study was motivated by the low interest in learning of students in class IV-A SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo 1 Surabaya, which is indicated by the lack of attention and involvement of students in the learning process. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method of the Kurt Lewin model which consists of four stages, namely: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of one action. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of the questionnaire in cycle I, most students were in the medium and low categories, with only 10 students in the high category. After improvements were made to the learning media in cycle II, there was a significant increase in students' interest in learning. A total of 17 students are in the high category, 9 students are in the very high category, and only 2 students are still in the medium category. There are no students in the low or very low categories. The results of this study indicate that interesting and interactive learning media such as "The Magic Book of Pancasila" can significantly increase students' interest in learning. The improved media not only clarifies the material, but also increases students' attention, interest, and involvement in learning activities.

Abstract

Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning at the elementary level often faces challenges, especially in delivering abstract concepts such as plant reproduction. Conventional materials such as textbooks and worksheets are often insufficient in providing meaningful and engaging learning experiences. This study aims to analyze the need for developing digital-based IPAS teaching materials using interactive digital media as a contextual and multimodal solution that encourages active student participation. The research employed an exploratory descriptive method with a mixed-methods approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative data. Samples were selected using proportional cluster random sampling, involving teachers, students, school principals, and parents in Pemalang Regency. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and in-depth interviews and analyzed descriptively. The findings indicate a high demand among all respondent groups for technology-based IPAS learning materials that are visual, interactive, and easy to understand. Teachers found interactive digital media to be relevant and user-friendly, allowing for engaging content delivery through text, images, video, and audio. Principals expressed full support for the development of such media in alignment with the Merdeka Curriculum. Parents showed enthusiasm and a willingness to assist their children in using digital tools. Students reported increased motivation and better comprehension when learning was supported by multimodal and interactive media. In conclusion, developing IPAS teaching materials based on interactive digital media is essential to meet the demands of 21st-century learning and to enhance student engagement, understanding, and learning outcomes in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the abolition of the subscription parking policy in Bangkalan, which triggers a dilemma between fulfilling the aspirations of the community and the potential reduction in Regional Original Revenue (PAD). This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. The main data source used in this research is primary data obtained through direct observation and interviews with the parties involved, such as the Department of Transportation in Bangkalan Regency. The results show that the abolition of the subscription parking policy has dual consequences. On the one hand, this policy responds to public complaints against the practice of double levies by parking attendants. However, on the other hand, this policy has the potential to reduce the Regional Original Revenue (PAD) that was previously sourced from the subscription parking levy, which can have an impact on the regional development budget. The decision to abolish the subscription parking policy illustrates the challenges in formulating public policies that must balance the interests of the public and the financial sustainability of the region. This research recommends a more transparent and systematic parking management mechanism to reduce illegal levies and maintain the stability of local revenue. This study provides insights into the dynamics of public policy in the context of parking governance in the region, as well as offering new perspectives in finding equitable and sustainable solutions for local governments and communities, because until now there have not been many studies that specifically examine the issue in depth, especially in the local context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence teachers' difficulties in using teaching modules as learning tools that support the Independent Curriculum. Teaching modules are an important part of the implementation of independent and differentiated learning, but many teachers face obstacles in their use. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach involving 15 teachers from elementary school levels spread across three schools in Kerinci Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that teachers' difficulties in using teaching modules are influenced by several factors, namely (1) limited understanding of the structure of teaching modules, (2) low digital skills to access and modify modules, (3) limited time to adjust modules to student needs, and (4) lack of adequate technical training. This study recommends increasing training support, providing contextual and flexible modules, and collaboration between teachers in learning communities to reduce these obstacles.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of students in mathematics subjects. The TaRL approach is considered appropriate to use because it emphasizes the adjustment of the level of difficulty of the material with the initial abilities of students. Geoboard media is considered appropriate to use in mathematics subjects on the characteristics of flat shapes because it helps in understanding abstract concepts through real objects. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of grade VA students of SDN Jember Lor 05 in Mathematics subjects through the TaRL approach assisted by Geoboard media. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and MC Tagart models with two cycles. The results of the study showed an increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes completion from the pre-cycle 28% who achieved completion. After the intervention, student completion increased to 57% in the first cycle and 85% in the second cycle. So it can be concluded that the TaRL approach is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Peserta didik harus memiliki kemampuan abad 21 untuk menghadapi tantangan dan persaingan yang muncul dengan perkembangan zaman. Oleh sebab itu, proses pembelajaran harus dapat mengembangkan keterampilan 4C diantaranya keterampilan berfikir kritis dan komunikasi. Salah satu model pembelajaran berbantu media yang dianggap relevan pada penelitian ini yaitu Teams Games and Tournament (TGT). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Teams Games and Tournament (TGT) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran Matematika kelas IV SD, (2) menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Teams Games and Tournament (TGT) terhadap keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik pada pembelajaran Matematika kelas IV SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling untuk menentukan sampel dengan peserta didik kelas IVC sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas IVB sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket dan soal pretest-posttest. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan yaitu anacova. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa (1) penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games and Tournament (TGT) berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran Matematika IV SD. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000, (2) penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games and Tournament (TGT) berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik pada pembelajaran Matematika IV SD. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000.

Abstract

This research focuses on the literacy skills of class IV students. This study question is how to implement a learning model in class IV UPT UPT State Elementary School 202 Pinrang. The purpose of this research is to determine the process and results of implementing CIRC learning models in improving the literacy skills of reading class IV students’ understanding. This research approach is a qualitative approach. The type of research used is Class Action Research (PTK). Data were collected through observations, dokumentas, and tests. Data is processed through data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subject of this study were 18 people consisting of 1 teacher and 17 class IV students. The results show that learning on the I cycle gets sufficient value (C), but these results do not yet meet standards. The results of research on cycle learning II show good value (B) which where student activity is in high qualifications. The conclusion of the results of this study indicate that the application of a learning model of CIRC can increase the literacy skills of grade IV students in UPT SD Negeri 202 Pinrang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya daya tarik belajar dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini diduga disebabkan oleh minimya variasi, inovasi serta kreativitas dalam penggunaan model dan media dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji ada tidaknya pengaruh yang signifikan pada model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) dengan bantuan media animasi terhadap daya tarik dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila kelas V di UPTD SD Inpres Palsatu Kota Kupang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari satu kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner daya tarik belajar dan tes hasil belajar pada pre-test dan post-test. Nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh pada daya tarik belajar adalah 0.002 dan nilai hasil belajar adalah sebesar 0.000 (p < 0.05), yang artinya bahwa model pembelajaran GI dengan media animasi memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap daya tarik dan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak.
