Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Civic Education learning through the Project Citizen approach has significant potential in enhancing 21st-century skills among students, such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, character, and citizenship. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Teminabuan, South Sorong Regency, with the aim of exploring the effectiveness of this approach in elementary education. The research methods included direct observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results show that the Project Citizen approach not only enhances active student engagement in learning but also deepens their understanding of citizenship issues, teamwork skills, and the ability to solve social problems with creative solutions. These findings provide valuable insights for curriculum development and learning strategies in elementary schools to prepare students for the challenges of the modern world.

The Math War method is a learning approach based on multiplication card games designed to help students improve their focus and solve basic multiplication problems. At SDN Jajartunggal 1, numeracy skills among second-grade students were found to be low, as indicated by the results of a diagnostic assessment. To address this issue, the Math War method was implemented with the integration of Surabaya's local cultural wisdom. This study aims to enhance the numeracy skills of 28 second-grade students using this culturally adapted method. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) model developed by Kemmis and McTaggart, consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted over three cycles, using written tests as the main instrument. The results showed improvement in student learning outcomes: 64.3% mastery in Cycle I, 71.4% in Cycle II, and 78.6% in Cycle III. This met the success indicator, which required at least 75% of students to achieve the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). Therefore, the Math War method, enriched with Surabaya’s local wisdom, proved effective in improving students’ numeracy skills.

Primary education plays a strategic role in shaping children's character, cultural identity, and social skills. However, globalization and an overly cognitive-oriented educational approach have marginalized local cultural values. This study aims to analyze the application of anthropological perspectives in developing culture-based primary education. The research method employed is a literature review, examining various scientific articles, textbooks, and relevant studies published within the last 5–10 years. The findings reveal that integrating local culture into primary education strengthens students' sense of identity, increases learning motivation, and fosters adaptive and inclusive personalities. Culture-based education also plays a crucial role in transmitting core values from one generation to the next. Nevertheless, the implementation of culture-based education in Indonesia still faces challenges, including limited teacher training and a lack of culturally representative learning resources. To overcome these obstacles, it is essential to develop a curriculum based on local wisdom, provide continuous teacher training, and supply culturally sensitive teaching materials. Applying an anthropological perspective to primary education is a key strategy for nurturing a young generation with strong character and deep-rooted cultural identity.

This study is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach that aims to examine the influence of technology and social media on the development of adolescent behavior. In today's digital era, adolescents are a group that is very connected to cyberspace, making social media a means of self-expression, communication, and the formation of social identity. However, intense use of technology also poses challenges, such as decreased self-control, increased impulsive behavior, and the risk of mental health disorders such as anxiety, stress, and depression. The digital environment plays a significant role in shaping adolescent behavior, both positively and negatively. This study also highlights the phenomenon of alone together and the shift in character values in adolescents, especially in the context of spiritual and social life. To manage the negative impacts and maximize the positive benefits of technology, a holistic approach is needed through digital literacy education, parental guidance, and community involvement in constructive activities. Thus, technology can be used wisely and become a means to support the healthy growth of adolescent character in the big data era.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using interactive flipbook media in improving student learning outcomes in Informatics subjects at the Vocational High School (SMK) level. The urgency of this research lies in the need for innovative learning media that can answer the challenges of the 21st century, especially in improving student learning outcomes that have been hampered by conventional approaches. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by reviewing 10 relevant articles from 2019-2024. After going through the selection stage based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the ten most relevant articles were obtained for analysis. Data were analyzed using a categorization approach based on the validity of material experts, media experts, and students’ responses to the feasibility of teaching materials. The results showed that the average validity of material experts was 90.11%, the validity of media experts was 91.7%, and the feasibility of teaching materials was 89.6%, all of which were in the “very valid” category. These findings indicate that interactive flipbooks are very feasible and effective learning media in improving student learning outcomes. Interactive flipbooks not only present material visually and attractively, but also include interactive elements such as animations, videos, and quizzes that strengthen concept understanding. Thus, this study recommends the wider utilization of interactive flipbooks as a technology-based pedagogical solution in supporting active, innovative and meaningful learning.

Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ditemukan antara lain: 1) rendahnya keterampilan computational thinking anak usia dini 2) pada saat mengajar guru masih menggunakan cara yang monoton. Menindaklanjuti permasalahan tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Keterampilan Computational Thinking anak usia dini melalui penggunaan AI berbasis aplikasi Android Solite Kids. Aplikasi Android Solite Kids merupakan game edukatif berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI), yang beroperasi di platform Android, game ini didesain dengan bentuk dan cara bermain yang tidak membosankan selain itu juga terdapat banyak pilihan permainan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Kartini Gumukcandi dengan 25 anak dalam kelompok B1 dengan menggunakan aplikasi edukatif berbasis AI bernama Solite Kids. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) digunakan, yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Setelah data perkembangan Computational Thinking anak dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, kemudian dilakukan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan Computational Thinking anak-anak mengalami peningkatan dari 48% pada siklus I menjadi 88% pada siklus II. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Solite Kids dapat menjadi alat pembelajaran yang menarik dan cukup efektif untuk membantu anak-anak usia dini unutk belajar berpikir logis dalam memecahkan masalah. Game ini juga mendorong anak-anak untuk belajar melalui permainan yang bervariasi dan menyenangkan.

Salah satu kemampuan yang dibutuhkan siswa dalam menghadapi persaingan global adalah kemapuan berpikir kritis. Salah satu cara untuk mencapai hal ini adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang di dalamnya di integrasikan konteks Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran PBL berbasis ESD, dalam meningkatkan kompetensi berpikir kritis siswa pada materi ekosistem di kelas V pada salah satu SDN Kota Samarinda. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang digunakan adalah penelitian Quasi Experimental dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas V salah satu SDN di Kecamatan Sungai Kunjang, Kota Samarinda. Pada penelitian ini terdapat kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah sampel seluruhnya sebanyak 42 orang. Instrumen tes yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes berupa 18 soal pilihan ganda dan instrumen non tes berupa pedoman observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis menggunkaan uji Independent Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. (2 tailed) kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 42 sebesar 0,018. Berdasarkan dasar pengambilan keputusan uji Independent Sample t-test, jika nilai Sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 maka ditolak dan diterima. Dengan demikian, karena nilai Sig. (2-tailed) yang didapatkan lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran PBL berbasis ESD dalam meningkatkan kompetensi berpikir kritis siswa pada materi IPA Ekosistem di Kelas V pada salah satu SDN di Kec. Sungai Kunjang, Kota Samarinda. Peningkatan kompetensi berpikir kritis siswa kelompok eksperimen sebesar 0,38 dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas 5B SDN Pakis V Surabaya pada mata pelajaran IPAS, khususnya pada materi Sumber Daya Alam. Pembelajaran yang cenderung monoton dan kurangnya pemanfaatan media menjadi salah satu penyebabnya. Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi media Papan Sumber Daya Alam dan mengetahui peningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 5B pada mata pelajaran IPAS setelah penggunaan media tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PTK yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas 5B SDN Pakis V Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar (pre-test dan post-test tiap siklus) dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa serta guru. Data hasil belajar dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan membandingkan nilai rata-rata kelas dan persentase ketuntasan belajar antar siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi media Papan Sumber Daya Alam berjalan efektif dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada nilai rata-rata kelas dan persentase siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) dari Siklus I dengan persentase 62,1% ke Siklus II dengan persentase 89,7%. Selain itu, observasi menunjukkan peningkatan keaktifan dan antusiasme siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Papan Sumber Daya Alam efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas 5B SDN Pakis V Surabaya.

The purpose of the study was to obtain empirical data on the completion of itsbat nikah before and after the reform of the Marriage Law. The research uses a mixed method that combines quantitative approaches based on numbers and statistics and qualitative approaches based on narrative and description. The approach used is legal sociology and saddu al-dzariyah with a utilitarianism paradigm. Primary data sources include the Chairperson, Registrar, Judges, Information Officer at the Muara Sabak Religious Court, KUA, and the community of East Tanjung Jabung Regency. Secondary data are scientific books, journals, decisions, case statistics, and annual reports. Data collection techniques were conducted through questionnaire surveys and analysis of case results with method triangulation techniques to test the validity of the data. The results showed that: (1) People in Muara Sabak have a positive view of marriage regulations and increasingly realize the importance of marriage registration. However, understanding of itsbat nikah still varies, influenced by educational factors and access to information. Marriage practices remain influenced by culture, tradition and socio-economic conditions affect the decision to marry. (2) The pre- and post-reform isbat nikah mechanisms show that although the basic mechanism has not changed significantly, there have been improvements in the requirements and stricter procedures to ensure the validity of marriages. The Constitutional Court's decision expanding the scope of isbat nikah has also had an effect on the recognition of the rights of children from unregistered marriages. (3) Regarding the space for judges in responding to isbat nikah applications, there is flexibility and adaptation in legal practice in the Religious Courts. After the reform of the Marriage Law, judges were given more room to exercise “ijtihad” in assessing applications for isbat nikah, including for marriages performed after the enactment of the law, thus reflecting the court's efforts to meet the community's need for legal certainty regarding marital status.

In mathematics learning, problem solving is an important activity when learning mathematics. In mathematics learning, the right media according to the learning model can make the learning process more interesting, easier to understand, according to students' needs. This study aims to examine the effect of the Number Head Together learning model (NHT) assisted by the comic media "flat wake adventure" on the problem-solving abilities of 3rd grade elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, the population in this study is Ketapang 01 Elementary School and the sample in this study is class IIIA as the experimental class while class IIIB as the control class. Data collection techniques are in the form of tests and non-tests. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. The average post-test score of the experimental group (86.37) was higher than the control group (79.58). Independent Sample T-test analysis showed a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, this indicates that learning using the Numbered Head Together model assisted by the comic media "flat wake adventure" and the Numbered Head Together model without the comic media "flat wake adventure" resulted in differences in the problem-solving abilities of grade III students. Regression test analysis showed a significance level of 0.001 <0.05. indicating that the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model assisted by the comic media "flat wake adventure" has an influence on students' problem-solving abilities
