Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Mathematical communication ability is one of the important competencies that must be developed in every math topic, because mathematical communication can help students in building mathematical knowledge. However, the facts in the field, students' mathematical communication skills are still low. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Visualization, Auditory, and Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model on the mathematical communication skills of fourth grade students at SDN Maracang on the circumference and area of flat shapes. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a research design Nonequivalent (Pretest-Posttest) Control Group Design. The population in this study were fourth grade students at SDN Maracang and the samples taken were grades IV B and IV D with 24 students each. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique with certain considerations. Data collection techniques used are tests and questionnaires. Data analysis in this study used the t-test of N-gain data which was preceded by normality and homogeneity tests. The results of the study obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there was an effect of the VAK learning model on students' mathematical communication skills. From the results of the N-gain test, it was found that there was an increase in mathematical communication skills with the average N-gain of the experimental class was 0.4921 in the medium category and the control class average was 0.0404 with the low category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the VAK learning model has more influence on mathematical communication skills than the use of conventional learning models.

This study aims to describe the effect of the application of the Picture and Picture (PAP) learning model on the learning outcomes of IPAS elementary school students, especially grade IV at SDN 6 Sindangkasih Purwakarta Regency. This study used a preexperimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest type of research. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling type, because all populations were used as samples. The research instrument used was a test question in the form of a description. The research data were statistically analyzed through normality test, homogeneity test, and Paired Sample Test. Based on the results of the research conducted, the Picture and Picture learning model on the learning outcomes of IPAS elementary school students can be said to have an effect.

Each student possesses diverse characteristics, abilities, and needs. However, this is often overlooked by educators and contemporary parents. Teachers have a limited understanding of how a student's academic achievement must be comprehensively viewed within the context of social, emotional, physical, and psychological development. The aim of this research is to provide an overview of the implementation of differentiated learning to optimize the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Labat, Kota Kupang, specifically in the subject of IPAS (Integrated Science). The research methodology employed is descriptive analytics with a qualitative approach. Data analysis is conducted through triangulation, combining observation results, interviews, and documentation to verify data.The research results indicate that the implementation of differentiated learning in the IPAS subject has a positive impact on both students and teachers. Learning outcomes improve, and students feel comfortable in their learning environment. Each student develops according to their abilities and skills. Teachers no longer compare the abilities and skills of each student but are more motivated to create more active and creative learning experiences using diverse teaching strategies. Learning begins with cognitive and non-cognitive assessments to determine students' interests, learning styles, and backgrounds. Differentiation strategies in content, process, and product are implemented by teachers according to students' learning needs. One of the challenges in implementing differentiated learning is time. Teachers require more time than the allocated class hours because they need to group students and organize lessons according to the needs of the learners.

This research aims to analyze the condition of the traditional game Engklek on Sentosa Street, RT.10 RW.04, Kapuas Hulu Regency, with a focus on early childhood (5-6 years old). This research is descriptive in nature, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research indicate that the Engklek game has positive potential with adequate playing space, but it requires improvements in physical aspects and supporting facilities. The community's awareness of preserving this game is relatively good, but there is a need for an increased understanding of cultural values. Supporting factors involve community support, educational institutions, and the government, but collaboration needs to be enhanced. The implementation of Engklek in early childhood provides benefits in the development of motor skills, social skills, and cultural values. Therefore, collaborative efforts are needed to raise awareness and provide facilities that support the traditional game to remain relevant for children.

This research aims to design and produce Student Activity Sheets (LKPD) based on STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) integrated with Tri N on magnetic material. The research teaching materials used are research and development type. The subjects in this research were material experts, teaching materials experts, fellow teachers, and class VI students at SDN 2 Rowokele, Rowokele District, Kebumen Regency. Data collection was carried out using instruments in the form of interview guides, questionnaires, observation sheets and validation. Data analysis uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The design of Tri N's integrated STEM-based LKPD was carried out using the ADDIE instructional development model, namely through the Analysis, Development, Implementation and Evaluation stages because in this model each stage is revised until a better LKPD product is obtained. The results of the research show that the design of Tri N's integrated STEM-based LKPD based on the assessment of material experts obtained an average percentage of 95.65% with appropriate criteria, the assessment of teaching material experts obtained an average percentage of 79% with appropriate criteria, the assessment of fellow teachers obtained an average percentage of average 79.78%. The results of using Tri N's integrated STEM-based LKPD designed to improve critical thinking skills obtained an average score of 85.67% with the number of students who completed it being 27 people. Tri N's integrated STEM-based LKPD on magnetic material has been designed to obtain "very high" assessment criteria and has met the requirements for being effective in improving critical thinking skills and is suitable for use in the science learning process on magnetic material.

Project-based learning method integrates practical and creative approaches in learning, involving students in real projects that encourage them to collaborate and innovate. In learning, the importance of developing creativity and collaboration in the field of Creative Dance is crucial. Creativity and collaboration are key factors in the development of dance art, as they enable students to produce original works and merge their ideas with others. This research aims to explain the impact of implementing the project-based learning method in developing creativity and collaboration skills in the context of Creative Dance. This research method utilizes a descriptive method. The research was conducted with fifth-grade students at a primary school in Kebumen. The research instruments include attitude observation, skill assessment, product assessment, and data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results show that students are more active during the learning process and can enhance creativity and collaboration skills. The implementation of project-based learning method in Creative Dance can significantly benefit in improving students' creativity and collaboration skills. The implications of this research indicate the necessity of involving students in real projects that allow them to innovate and actively collaborate in the Creative Dance learning process.

Speaking is one of the most important skills for students to master in the 21st century. However, the reality on the ground shows that if almost all students are asked to speak during learning activities, it is still very worrying. The aim of this research is to describe the use of mind mapping assisted by the Canva application by integrating the Tri-N approach to optimize students' speaking abilities in class VI students at SDN 1 Sidomoro. The benefit of this research is to review the effectiveness of using mind mapping with the help of the Canva application which integrates Tri-N teachings on speaking skills in class VI students at SDN 1 Sidomoro. This research is included in the qualitative descriptive type. The data analysis technique used is guided by Miles and Huberman which consists of: 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data display, and 4) drawing conclusions/verification. In the initial assessment before the research was carried out, only 33.3% (4 students) were skilled at speaking. After the research was carried out, there was an increase of 83.3% (10 students) in proficiency and skill in speaking. So it can be concluded that by applying the mind mapping method assisted by the Canva application which is integrated with the Tri-N approach, it has proven to be effective in optimizing students' speaking abilities in class VI students at SDN 1 Sidomoro.

The need for gadgets in today's world is increasing. Among them, 30 million children and teenagers in Indonesia use gadgets for learning and communication. The excessive frequency of gadget use is a mistake that is often ignored by many gadget users themselves. Mistakes that often occur include improper positioning and lighting intensity that is too high, resulting in a decrease in visual acuity. This also has an impact on children's difficulties in carrying out their daily activities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of gadget use on the degradation of visual acuity in school-age children at SDN 09 Sumur. Using quantitative descriptive method with Cross Sectional approach. The sample size of this study was 55 people from grades 1-5. Data processing using Chi-square test with p value <0.05. The results of the analysis showed a value of p = 0.015 which means that there is an influence between light intensity and the position of gadget use on the degradation of visual acuity. However, there is no statistical effect between the frequency of screen time and the degradation of visual acuity with a value of p = 0.0112. So it can be concluded that there is an influence between the intensity of light when using gadgets on the degradation of visual acuity and there is no influence between the frequency of the duration of gadget use and the degradation of visual acuity.

Literacy is the ability to access, comprehend, and intelligently use something through various activities including reading, observing, listening, writing, or speaking. Reading is a process performed and utilized by readers to obtain messages conveyed by authors through written words or language. Low reading interest and difficulty in understanding difficult words in texts are the background of the study. Based on this background, the researcher developed an e-module as a teaching material. An e-module is an independent teaching material to achieve specific learning objectives that are systematically arranged into the smallest learning units, then presented in electronic form, making users more interactive with the program. The research aims to improve reading literacy skills and learning outcomes of children, as well as tools for active, creative, critical, and innovative thinking. The research method used was qualitative descriptive. The conclusion of the research is that from the validation testing by design experts and thematic learning material experts with a percentage of 92.31% and 87.49% respectively, falls within the valid category.

Primary school teachers ignore the local wisom when teaching Indonesian literature. They also have much interdependence of using textbooks. The study aims to explore the revitalization of debus mantra as the alternative learning material to foster local wisdom in elementary school level. The research method employed was qualitative ethnography. Field observation, interview and documentation protocol sheets were used to collect the data. The data were collected at Surya Galung community, Serang, Banten, Indonesia. Result suggested that debus mantra could be used as the alternative learning material to teach Indonesian literature in elementary school level because it can withstand external cultures, accommodates elements of external cultures, integrates components of external cultures into the native culture, and privides the direction for cultural progress.
