Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between peer relationships and students' learning motivation in Grade XI at SMA Advent UNKLAB during the 2023/2024 academic year. The objective is to determine the levels of peer interaction and student motivation, as well as to examine whether there is a significant relationship between the two. A quantitative research method was used, involving statistical data analysis to investigate the connection between the variables. The results of the study, based on the research questions, indicate that the level of peer interaction falls into the high category, the level of student learning motivation is also in the high category, and there is a significant relationship between peer interaction (variable X) and learning motivation (variable Y), with a moderate correlation (r = 0.471) and a significance value of sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for the public, educators, and policymakers on how to optimize peer relationships to enhance students' motivation to learn.

Abstract

 This study discusses the learning barriers faced by students in the learning process in grade IV at SD Negeri 2 Sokaraja Banjarnegara. The main focus of the study covers cognitive aspects that influence the learning process in the classroom. The method used is a qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that students have difficulty understanding memorization material, reading story questions, and constructing sentences when writing. The students' concentration levels are low, they are easily distracted by their surroundings, and they tend to be passive. The students are unable to respond to the teacher's explanations to the fullest extent. Some students exhibit hyperactive behavior. This study aims to identify the forms of learning barriers experienced by students and the efforts made by teachers to overcome these barriers in the classroom environment. Learning media are limited to pictures, videos, and textbooks. The teaching methods used are lecture-based and lack variety. The home learning environment is not supportive, as students do not receive tutoring because they live with their grandparents. There is a high dependence on gadgets, and material review at home is rarely done. School facilities are minimal, and there are no special programs available for students with learning difficulties. Teachers have made efforts to establish personal communication, but these efforts have not yet yielded significant results. Learning evaluations indicate that most students are unable to complete assignments independently. The learning process is not optimal and does not address the learning needs of all students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan kurikulum merdeka dalam meningkatkan keterampilan 4C anak usia dini di TK Al-Fatih. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Al-Fatih Jambi sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran serta wawancara terhadap empat orang guru kelas B TK Al-Fatih. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dilihat adanya pengaruh positif penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam mengembangkan keterampilan 4C anak usia dini, dimana anak-anak lebih aktif, kreatif, komunikatif, serta mampu bekerja sama dengan teman dalam berbagai aktivitas yang sesuai dengan tahapan perkembangan mereka.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is a new policy in the world of Indonesian education that aims to provide flexibility to educational units and educators in designing learning according to the needs of students. This study aims to examine the impact of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum on increasing student independence and creativity at SDI Wolomarang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Independent Curriculum has a positive influence on student independence and creativity, although there are still some challenges in its implementation. Abstract

This study aims to measure the practicality of the parasis pepama media in improving IPAS learning outcomes in the respiratory system at school. Learning at the primary school level plays an important role in shaping students' scientific thinking. One of the materials that poses a particular challenge because it contains abstract concepts that cannot be directly observed by students is the respiratory system. Therefore, appropriate learning media are needed to overcome this challenge. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through a practicality questionnaire administered to teachers and students. The practicality test results indicate that the instrument was rated as highly practical by teachers at 91% and by students at 87%, with an overall average of 90.5%. These findings indicate that the Parasis Pepama media in improving IPAS learning outcomes on the respiratory system is easy to use, efficient in implementation, and attractive and adaptive for users in the elementary school environment. In conclusion, the Parasis Pepama media has a very good level of practicality and can be an alternative learning medium. This media has the potential to support student engagement and facilitate teachers in managing classroom learning.

Abstract

Islamic education in Indonesia has long been an integral part of society, with surau, mosques, and pesantren playing a central role in shaping the character, values, and identity of Muslims. This study uses a qualitative method. The findings show that these three institutions have historically contributed significantly to the formation of Islamic identity, serving as centers for education, moral development, and grounded spiritual values. Over time, they have demonstrated remarkable adaptability through institutional transformation, technological adoption, and the expansion of their social, economic, and educational roles while maintaining core Islamic values. Their contribution to the development of Islamic civilization in Indonesia is substantial, as they continue to produce religious, moderate, and competitive generations and reinforce Islam’s role as a moral and social force in building an inclusive, just, and civilized society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the use of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) programme in developing student creativity through the use of recycled materials. The method applied in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with research subjects including students and teachers as classroom supervisors who are directly in the learning process. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted through observation and interviews. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques were carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that P5 plays a role in enhancing students' creativity, collaboration, and character. P5 also creates a supportive learning environment for students to channel their creative and innovative ideas. Additionally, P5 teaches students the importance of reusing used items and reducing waste. However, obstacles such as a lack of resources and inadequate time management were also identified.

Abstract

Middle School teachers in Temanggung District have various problems including a less supportive work environment, low motivation in teaching, insufficient application of Reward and Punishment, resulting in less than optimal teacher discipline. This study aims to determine the influence of leadership on motivation, leadership on teacher discipline, work environment on teacher work motivation, work environment on teacher discipline, motivation on teacher discipline, the influence of leadership, work environment on teacher discipline through motivation and the role of motivation in mediating the influence of leadership and work environment on teacher discipline. This study uses a descriptive research model with a quantitative approach with a population of 147 and sampling using proportional random sampling technique resulting in a sample size of 108. Data collection in this study uses a questionnaire method, prerequisite tests using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests using descriptive statistical tests, normality tests, linearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, and multicollinearity tests. While hypothesis testing uses regression tests, path analysis model 1 and path analysis model 2 tests, and Sobel tests. The results of the study obtained a coefficient value of leadership on motivation of 0.412, a coefficient of work environment on motivation of 0.223 with an error value1 of 0.8831, a coefficient of leadership on work discipline of 0.251, a coefficient of work environment on work discipline of 0.139, and a coefficient of motivation on work discipline of 0.823 with an error value2 = 0.6041. After conducting regression tests, path analysis model 1 and path analysis model 2 tests, and Sobel test, it is concluded that there is a significant influence of leadership on motivation, leadership on teacher discipline, work environment on motivation, work environment on teacher discipline, motivation on teacher discipline, motivation on teacher discipline, and all independent variables have a direct effect on the dependent variable. Motivation as a mediating variable indirectly influences the independent variables on the dependent variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model affects high school students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. The research is classified as a quasi-experimental study. The population consisted of all Grade X students at SMAS GKPI Padang Bulan, with class X-3 as the experimental group and class X-2 as the control group. The experimental class was taught using the MMP model, while the control class received conventional instruction. The test instrument consisted of three valid essay questions for both the pretest and posttest. Based on the pretest results, the experimental class had an average score of 49.10, while the control class scored 50.51. After the treatment, the experimental class obtained an average posttest score of 84.23, compared to 64.62 in the control class. Statistical analysis revealed that the data were normally distributed and linear, enabling hypothesis testing. Simple linear regression produced the equation Ŷ = 31.713 + 0.770X. Based on the hypothesis test, = , at a significance level of α = 0.05 and = 2,064. Since and the significance value was 0.000 < 0.05, was rejected and was accepted. This indicates that the MMP learning model has a significant effect on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The R-square value was 0.412, meaning that 41.2% of the improvement was influenced by the MMP model, while the remaining 58.8% was influenced by other factors not included in the study.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the potential and development strategy of Belibis Island tourist attraction in Kampung Jawa Village, Tanjung Harapan District, Solok City, using the SOAR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results) analysis approach. Belibis Island is a natural tourist attraction with the main attraction in the form of a lake, the beauty of the landscape, and the potential for outdoor recreation, but its management is considered not optimal. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews with stakeholders such as managers, and the Tourism Office. The results showed that the strength of Belibis Island lies in its natural potential and community support. Development opportunities include nature-based tourism trends and digital promotion. Development aspirations are directed at making Belibis Island a sustainable leading tourist destination, with expected results in the form of increased visitor numbers and economic contributions to local communities. This research recommends development strategies through increasing tourist attractions, providing adequate amenity, and strengthening community participation in tourism management.
