Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to analyze the need for interactive multimedia development as a medium for learning IPAS for grade V elementary school. The research subjects consisted of fifth grade teachers and students at SDN 1 Nagarawangi and SDN 2 Nagarawangi. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation using prepared guidelines. Data analysis used a qualitative descriptive method with reference to the Miles and Huberman model. The preliminary findings showed several important points, namely: (1) there is a need for learning media that better supports the IPAS learning process; (2) IPAS learning is still considered difficult to understand by students because the material is abstract; (3) students need interesting and innovative interactive multimedia, especially in IPAS learning; and (4) interactive multimedia is seen as the right solution to deliver material on the topic effectively. Thus, the researcher concludes that in this study, the development of interactive multimedia is needed to facilitate and increase students' interest in learning IPAS grade 5.

Development of augmented reality-based learning media on human digestive system material. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach and the ADDIE model. The aim is to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of the learning media development. The study was conducted at SDN Tenjolaya in the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year with fifth-grade students as the subjects. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, documentation, validation instrument questionnaires, student and teacher response questionnaires, and question instrument sheets. Expert validation results were as follows: media experts at 98%, language experts at 89.2%, first subject matter experts at 86%, and second subject matter experts at 100%. The student response rate was 98%, and the teacher response rate was 100%. The N-Gain score was 0.74. Based on the results obtained, the augmented reality-based learning media on the human digestive system is suitable and effective for use in the learning process.

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the singing method on learning motivation and achievement in memorizing multiplication in grade III elementary school students. The background of this study is based on the low interest and learning outcomes of students in memorizing multiplication, which has an impact on the overall understanding of mathematics material. The singing method was chosen because it is considered capable of creating a pleasant learning atmosphere and making it easier for students to remember material through the rhythm and lyrics of the song. This study uses a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. The subjects of the study were 23 grade III students in an elementary school. The instruments used included a learning motivation questionnaire and a multiplication memorization achievement test. The results of the study showed a significant increase in learning motivation and multiplication memorization test results after the application of the singing method. This shows that the singing method is effective in increasing student motivation and learning achievement, especially in multiplication material. Thus, the singing method can be used as an alternative creative and enjoyable learning strategy to improve mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media manipulatif terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa pada mata Pelajaran matematika kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Populasi penelitian ini ialah seluruh siswa kelas III SD N 77 Palembang sebanyak 46 Siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan takhnik sampling jenuh sehingga kelas IIIA yang berjumlah 25 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IIIB yang berjumlah 21 siswa sebagai kelas control. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen menggunakan media manipulatif dengan model quasi experimental design. Tekhnik analisis data yang digunakan ialah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dengan bantuan program SPSS 26. Hasil perhitungan dan analisis data diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil posttest kelas kontrol 66.67 dan untuk nilai eskperimen diperoleh 78.00. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji independent sample t-test menunjukka nilai sig. sebesar 0,005 dengan nilai > 0,05 Sehingga 0,005 < 0,05 Maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas yang menggunakan metode manipulatif dengan pembelajaran yang konvensional

This study aims to 1) determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through the implementation of the CLIS model assisted by audio visual media (sound slide) at SD-IT Nurul Islam Singkawang; 2) to determine student responses after the implementation of the CLIS model assisted by audio visual media (sound slide) at SD-IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative with a one group pre-test post-test research design. The population in this study were all grade V students of SD-IT Nurul Islam Singkawang and the sample in this study used a total sampling of the entire class V Hud as many as 27 students. The results of the study showed that 1) Hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon test obtained a sig value of 0.001 (0.001 <0.05), so it can be concluded that there is an increase in the learning outcomes of class V Hud students after the application of the CLIS learning model assisted by audio-visual media (sound slides) in the science subject of SD-IT Nurul Islam Singkawang students.; 2) Based on the results of the calculation of the student response questionnaire showed an average of 75%, it can be concluded that the implications of this study indicate that the application of the CLIS model assisted by audio-visual media (sound slides) can have a positive impact on student learning outcomes, especially on magnet material and its uses. This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing a multiliteracy learning model on improving Indonesian language learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 30 Palembang. This research employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The study subjects consist of two classes: one serving as the experimental group and the other as the control group. Data were collected using objective multiple-choice tests to measure students' learning achievement. The data analysis results indicate a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups. The average posttest score of students in the experimental class was 71.94, which was higher than the control class, which had an average score of 52.58. The t-test analysis showed a significance value of 0.001, which is less than α = 0.05. Therefore, H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the two groups, and the application of the multiliteracy learning model assisted by audiovisual media has a positive contribution to improving Indonesian language learning outcomes compared to the conventional learning model.

This study aims to analyze classroom management in increasing students' learning interest at SDN 1 Ujung Tanjung. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through student questionnaires, teacher interviews, and classroom documentation. The results indicate that the four main aspects of classroom management—visibility, accessibility, flexibility, and comfort—play an essential role in creating a conducive learning environment. These elements positively affect students’motivation and engagement during the learning process. The findings also show that students' learning interest improves in classrooms that are well-organized, visually stimulating, and supportive of interaction. It is concluded that classroom management is not merely a technical issue but a strategic component in enhancing primary school students' learning outcomes.

Rendahnya pemanfaatan pendekatan eksploratif dalam pembelajaran seni tari untuk mengembangkan kreativitas anak. Permasalahan utama dalam studi ini adalah bagaimana pendekatan pembelajaran tari yang efektif dapat mendorong perkembangan kreativitas pada anak usia dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran eksplorasi tari dalam mendukung aspek perkembangan anak khususnya dalam dimensi motorik kasar, sosial-emosional, imajinasi, dan kepercayaan diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (Systematic Literature Review) dengan menelaah 40 artikel ilmiah dari jurnal nasional dan prosiding yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2016 hingga 2025. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pencarian sistematis menggunakan kata kunci terkait kreativitas tari anak usia dini melalui Google Scholar dan aplikasi Publish or Perish. Teknik analisis data melibatkan pengelompokan temuan ke dalam tema besar, yaitu perkembangan fisik, sosial, kognitif, serta pendekatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eksplorasi tari yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan bermain eksploratif, pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal, dan metode ramah anak memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan kreativitas dan aspek tumbuh kembang anak secara holistik. Tari tidak hanya memperkuat motorik kasar, tetapi juga meningkatkan kemampuan berimajinasi, mengekspresikan emosi, serta membangun rasa percaya diri dan kerja sama sosial. Oleh karena itu, integrasi seni tari dalam kurikulum PAUD perlu dirancang secara sistematis dan kontekstual untuk menunjang perkembangan menyeluruh anak usia dini.

This study aims to analyze the factors of students' learning difficulties in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the material of human respiratory organs in class V of SD Negeri 106815 Marindal in the 2024-2025 academic year. Learning difficulties experienced by students can be caused by internal factors, such as health conditions, cognitive abilities, and motivation, as well as external factors, including teaching methods and environmental support. The methodology used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research participants consisted of 28 students, 1 teacher, and 5 parents of students. The results showed that most students had difficulty understanding the scientific terms and concepts taught, which resulted in low learning outcomes. Monotonous teaching methods and the lack of use of interesting learning media also contributed to low student motivation and interest in learning. In addition, support from parents and a non-conducive learning environment also worsened this condition. This study recommends the need for improvements in teaching methods and increased support from parents to create a more effective learning environment, so that students can understand the material better and improve their academic achievement.

This study aims to determine the effect of using comic media on the reading interest of second-grade elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method of the True Experimental Design type, using a Posttest Only Control Design. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, namely class II.A as the experimental class and class II.B as the control class, with a total of 31 students at SDN I Teluk Kijing. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that the average reading interest score in the experimental class was 76.47, while the control class scored 70.10. Data were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-test, resulting in a t-value (tcount) of 2.583 and a t-table value (ttable) of 0.3550 at a significance level of 0.05. Since tcount > ttable, the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of comic media has an effect on the reading interest of second-grade elementary school students.
