Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Media wordwall terhadap prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPAS kelas V SD Negeri 2 Pucungkidul. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah siswa kurang antusias dan semangat sehingga belum menunjukkan keaktifan pada saat belajar, dan sulit memahami isi materi serta konsep pembelajaran IPAS yang berdampak dampak terhadap turunnya prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental desaign) dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V yang berjumlah 43 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes dan angket, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji f dan koefisien determinasi dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Model PBL berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar (thitung 3,672 > ttabel 2,093 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,002 < 0,05); (2) Media Wordwall berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar (thitung 11,755 > ttabel 2,093 dengan sig. 0,000 < 0,05); dan (3) Secara simultan, PBL dan Media Wordwall berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar (Fhitung 152,095 > Ftabel 3,49, sig. = 0.000). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Kombinasi model Problem Based Learning dan media Wordwall terbukti efektif dan relevan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar dan prestasi belajar siswa serta bisa dijadikan strategi inovatif yang adaptif untuk menghadapi tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang berbasis teknologi dan berpusat pada siswa.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low level of student activity and cooperation in social studies, caused by monotonous and lack of variety in learning, low student engagement, and the limited use of learning models and media, which quickly lead to student boredom. One way to address this issue is by implementing the PROGRAMER model in learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze improvements in student activity, cooperation skills, and learning outcomes. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted over four meetings. The subjects were 14 fifth-grade students at SDN Waringin Kencana. This study employed both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative techniques, described in tables, graphs, and percentage interpretations. The results showed an increase in teacher activity from meetings 1 to 4, with a rating of "very good." Student activity from meetings 1 to 4 increased from 43% (less active) to 93% (very active). Student cooperation skills from meeting 4 increased from 50% to 100%. This resulted in an increase in student learning outcomes in the fourth meeting, from 50% to 93%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of the PROGRAMER model can improve student activity, collaboration skills, and learning outcomes. This research is recommended for principals, teachers, and future researchers as an alternative learning model to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Rendahnya karakter dan kecerdasan emosional siswa sekolah dasar masih menjadi tantangan pendidikan yang berdampak pada perilaku sosial dan suasana belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran guru dalam membentuk karakter dan kecerdasan emosional siswa di SDN 2 Pucungkidul, Kecamatan Boyolangu. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus deskriptif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru, siswa, orang tua, kepala sekolah, dan komite sekolah. Hasil menunjukkan peran guru dijalankan secara sistematis melalui tiga tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Nilai karakter diintegrasikan dalam RPP, pembelajaran bersifat partisipatif dan reflektif, serta evaluasi dilakukan melalui catatan harian dan umpan balik orang tua. Keteladanan guru, kerja sama dengan orang tua, dan dukungan sekolah menjadi faktor pendukung utama. Kesimpulannya, pembentukan karakter dan kecerdasan emosional bukan proses tambahan, melainkan bagian integral dari budaya sekolah. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan mengevaluasi efektivitas metode tertentu dalam konteks sosial budaya yang berbeda.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms and impacts of spelling errors in the background of thesis of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (PBSI) Muhadi Setiabudi University in 2023. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a content analysis method, data were collected through documentation of the background of the students' theses. The results of the analysis showed a total of 272 cases of spelling errors, including 95 letter usage errors, 68 word spelling errors, 72 punctuation errors, 1 loan element spelling error, and 36 typos. The most frequently found errors were the incorrect use of capital letters, the writing of combined prepositions, and inaccuracy in the use of punctuation according to the Enhanced Spelling (EYD) Edition V. The impact of these spelling errors is very significant, including obscuring meaning, reducing the academic quality of scientific work, hindering the effectiveness of scientific communication, complicating the assessment process by the supervisor, and indicating a lack of student understanding of correct Indonesian language rules. These findings underscore the need for improved understanding of EYD Edition V, accuracy in writing, and more intensive guidance from supervisors to improve the quality of students' scientific writing. This research is expected to serve as a reference for students and educational institutions in efforts to improve language literacy and academic standards.

Abstract

Studi ini dimaksudkan untuk melihat dampak pemanfaatan media pembelajaran geoboard terhadap pemahaman siswa dalam mengenal konsep geometri dan pengukuran di kelas IV Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah Kepong, Malaysia. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah terbatasnya variasi Strategi pembelajaran yang dipilih oleh guru, salah satunya adalah metode ceramah masih mendominasi. Situasi ini mengakibatkan siswa menjadi kurang terlibat secara aktif dan berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya pemahaman terhadap materi Matematika, khususnya geometri dan pengukuran. Studi ini dilakukan memakai pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest, yang melibatkan 15 siswa kelas 4 sebagai peserta penelitian. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa 20 soal Matematika, dan setelah uji validitas, sebanyak 14 soal dinyatakan valid. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode pretest dan posttest, yang selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Samples Test untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan setelah perlakuan diberikan. Penelitian ini memberikan indikasi bahwa peningkatan pemahaman siswa yang signifikan terlihat setelah penerapan media Geoboard, dengan nilai signifikansi dua arah sebesar 0,000 (kurang dari 0,05) menandakan efektivitas media tersebut dalam meningkatkan penguasaan materi geometri dan pengukuran secara konkret, visual, dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Konsentrasi belajar merupakan kemampuan dalam mengarahkan segala pikiran dan perbuatan sehingga seseorang mampu mempelajari sesuatu dengan fokus yang baik. Pembelajaran IPAS adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang makhluk hidup dan benda mati, alam semesta beserta isinya, dan menganalisis kehidupan manusia sebagai manusia dan makhluk sosial yang berhubungan dengan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan studi kasus yang akan dilaksanakan di SD IV Payaman Kudus dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 6 siswa kelas IV dan guru wali kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan kepada siswa dan guru kelas IV. Berdasarkan analisis data ditemukan bahwa hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Siswa FAA dengan hasil belajar tinggi memenuhi 8 indikator konsentrasi tergolong tingkat konsentrasi tinggi. Siswa DMP dengan hasil belajar sedang memenuhi 7 indikator konsentrasi tergolong memiliki tingkat konsentrasi sedang. Siswa ARP dengan hasil belajar rendah memenuhi 7 indikator konsentrasi sehingga tergolong memiliki tingkat konsentrasi sedang.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of the role-playing method in fiction learning and its implementation within the Merdeka Curriculum for seventh-grade students at SMP Alfadllu. Fiction learning requires an innovative approach to help students deeply understand and internalize characters and plotlines. The role-playing method is believed to enhance active student engagement and contextual understanding of concepts. This study employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research population includes all seventh-grade students at SMP Alfadllu, with the sample selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a fiction comprehension test instrument and a student response questionnaire regarding the role-playing method. Data analysis was performed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) via hypothesis testing in the form of an independent sample t-test to determine differences in learning outcomes between the experimental group (which used the role-playing method) and the control group (which used conventional methods). Results of the study showed that the role-playing method had a positive impact, leading to an 18.87% increase in fiction comprehension among seventh-grade students at SMP Alfadllu. This was observed by comparing the scores of the experimental group with the conventional learning methods used in the control group. Furthermore, the implementation of this method aligns with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes differentiated and student-centered learning. These findings indicate that the role-playing method is effective in improving the quality of fiction instruction and supports the achievement of the Merdeka Curriculum's goals.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) Mapping flood vulnerability in Koto XI Tarusan Sub-district, Pesisir Selatan Regency. (2) To determine the most influential factors in determining the level of flood vulnerability in Koto XI Tarusan Sub-district, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive, and inferential approaches. Using a combined method consisting of three stages of analysis. Firstly, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used to determine the priority importance of each parameter based on expert judgement. Second, Binary Logistic Regression was applied to build the most stable and significant statistical prediction model. Thirdly, bivariate analyses (Chi-Square Test and Independent Sample T-Test) were applied to test individual relationships between variables. The six main parameters were rainfall, elevation, slope, soil type, distance from river and land cover. Validation of the regression model was conducted with a train-test data split of 80%-20%. The results showed that (1) The results of the AHP method flood vulnerability mapping are classified into three levels of vulnerability, namely low with an area of 22,584.94 hectares (51%), medium with an area of 18,704.34 hectares (42%), and high with an area of 2,987.69 hectares (7%). Mapping binary logistic regression method classified into three levels of vulnerability, namely low with an area of 31,054.538 hectares (70%), moderate with an area of 2,644.558 hectares (6%), and high with an area of 10,649, 199 hectares (24%), concentrated along the alluvial plain of Tarusan watershed (2) Rainfall (priority, 0.38) and Elevation (priority, 0.23) are the most influential factors according to AHP. Binary logistic regression model of significant variables showed Distance from River (p = 0.002) and Slope (p = 0.015) as the best model with 100% validation accuracy. Bivariate analysis proved that the factors of soil type, land cover and elevation had very strong individual relationships (p < 0.05) with flood occurrence. In conclusion, triggering factors (hydrometeorology) and physical vulnerability (geomorphology and land cover) jointly determine the level of flood vulnerability.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran yang tidak didukung oleh metode dan bahan ajar yang sesuai dapat menyebabkan peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kesadaran guru dalam menerapkan metode serta pemilihan bahan ajar yang tepat selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Penggunaan metode ceramah yang dominan membuat peserta didik kurang fokus dan menunjukkan minimnya antusiasme. Selain itu, kegiatan pembelajaran hanya bergantung pada buku Cerdas Tangkas sebagai satu-satunya sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kevalidan dan keterterapan LKPD berbasis model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) pada materi bangun datar untuk peserta didik kelas II SDN 3 Mojosari Tulungagung. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menerapkan model ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi angket validasi ahli media, angket validasi ahli materi, dan lembar observasi keterterapan.Produk yang dihasilkan berupa LKPD materi bangun datar berbasis TPS untuk kelas II, yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh guru dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid, dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 95,19% dari ahli media dan 98,07% dari ahli materi. Sementara itu, hasil keterterapan memperoleh persentase sebesar 92%, yang secara keseluruhan termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak digunakan. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar LKPD berbasis Think Pair Share (TPS) pada materi bangun datar kelas II yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini terbukti sangat valid dan sangat baik diterapkan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for fourth-grade students at SDN Sukatani 2, Tangerang Regency. It also seeks to analyze students’ responses and identify supporting and inhibiting factors during the implementation process. The background of this research lies in the low level of student engagement in learning and suboptimal academic outcomes caused by the continued use of conventional teaching methods. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects consist of the fourth-grade teacher and 25 students from the same class. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the STAD model was implemented through well-structured planning, execution, and evaluation phases in alignment with cooperative learning principles. Students responded positively to the model, showing increased participation, confidence, and motivation to learn. Supporting factors included the teacher’s preparedness, student enthusiasm, supportive school environment, and the use of contextual learning media. Meanwhile, challenges faced included unequal participation among group members and time limitations during implementation. Based on these findings, the STAD model is effective in enhancing both the learning process and student engagement at the elementary school level.
