Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana fungsi pemerintah desa dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan di Sepakat Kecamatan Plampang Kabupaten Sumbawa dan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat pelaksanaan tugas dan fungsi pemerintah desa dalam melaksanakn pembangunan desa.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pendekan deskriptif kualitatif sehingga dapat menjelaskan obyek penelitian di kantor Desa Sepakat Kecamatan Plampang Kabupaten Sumbawa. Data dan informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari informan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan observasi langsung dilokasi penelitian dan wawancara secara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Data tersebut dianalisis melalui reduksi data yaitu merangkum dan fokus pada hal yang penting kemudian dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan.Penelitian menunjukan bahwa tugas dan fungsi pemerintah desa yang dilakukan sudah efektif karena ada beberapa hal yang menjadi pendukung diantaranya melalui perencanaan dan dalam proses pelaksanaan pembangunan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an audio podcast-based instructional media to improve listening skills in English learning for Grade X senior high school students. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Plomp development model, which consists of five stages: preliminary investigation, design, realization, evaluation, and limited implementation. The developed podcast includes interactive narration, practice exercises, and an introduction to Recount Text material. It was produced using BandLab and Eleven Labs and distributed via Spotify. Validation by content and media experts yielded an average score of 4.8 (very valid), while a practicality test involving 40 students resulted in a score of 4.3 (very practical). These findings indicate that audio podcast media is feasible and effective for supporting English language learning, especially in enhancing students’ listening skills.

Abstract

Poverty, income inequality, and limited education infrastructure are the main obstacles that make it difficult for children in Papua to access proper education. This research aims to analyze the socioeconomic impact on indigenous Papuan children's access to education. This research uses a qualitative method through a literature study approach. Data were obtained from academic books related to the variables and scientific articles in national journals, with the criteria of being published in the last 10 years and relevant to the variables. The data collection technique used was data-based searches on the internet, and systematically reviewed and grouped by variable. The analysis was carried out using the content analysis method by analyzing themes, patterns, and relationships between variables from the content of the literature. Data validity and reliability were tested using source triangulation. The results show that socio-economic conditions greatly impact access to education for indigenous children in Papua.

Abstract

The development of an augmented reality-based learning module on the subject of science for fifth grade elementary school students, has the aim of knowing the development of a valid and practical learning module product. The type of research used in the development of this learning module is R&D (Research and Development), the development uses the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 14 Muara Telang with a total of 22 students. The data collection techniques used in the study were questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis techniques used were validity analysis and practicality analysis. From the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the development of an augmented reality-based learning module on the subject of science for fifth grade elementary school students is categorized as Very Valid and Very Practical.

Abstract

Character education serves as a fundamental pillar in shaping a generation that is not only academically competent but also morally grounded and socially responsible. However, its implementation at the junior high school level (SMP) still faces numerous challenges, including the limited integration of character values into classroom instruction, low parental involvement, and weak student awareness of moral values. This study aims to analyze the needs in strengthening character education in SMPs, particularly in Pemalang Regency, by examining teachers’ understanding, the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5), student awareness, and the relationship between character education and academic achievement. Employing a quantitative descriptive-evaluative approach, data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires distributed to teachers, students, and parents across four public junior high schools. The findings reveal that while teachers’ understanding of character education is relatively high (67%), only 42% are able to integrate it effectively into classroom practice. The implementation of P5 remains suboptimal, and parental involvement is still low (38%). Furthermore, the study identifies a significant positive correlation between strengthened character education and improved student academic performance. These results underscore the need for comprehensive efforts, including teacher training, enhanced student engagement, and stronger school-family collaboration. The outcomes of this research are expected to inform strategic planning for a more contextual, applicable, and sustainable model of character education.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of instructional video media on student motivation and learning outcomes in science subjects, specifically the human respiratory system, for eighth-grade students at SMPN 3 Kinali. The background of the problem lies in the low motivation and academic performance of students due to the conventional teaching methods commonly used, which often rely only on textbooks and simple PowerPoint slides. This quasi-experimental study employed a Randomized Control Group Posttest-Only Design involving two classes, with class VIII.1 as the experimental group and class VIII.2 as the control group. Data were collected using questionnaires and tests and analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and t-tests. The findings indicate a significant improvement in both motivation and learning outcomes in the experimental group. Based on t-tests, results showed significance levels of 14.38 > 2.001 (motivation) and 4.03 > 2.001 (learning outcomes), confirming that instructional videos significantly enhance students' motivation and academic achievement.

Abstract

The science learning process at SDN 105337 Pantai Labu Pekan is still focused on teachers and minimal student participation, which has an impact on low student learning outcomes. To overcome these problems, a learning model is needed that is able to increase student involvement actively, enjoyably and is able to stimulate a deeper understanding of science concepts. One alternative that can be applied is the talking stick  learning model assisted by question card media. The purpose of this study was to determine how the use of the talking stick  learning model combined with question card media can improve the science learning outcomes of grade III students of SDN 105337 Pantai Labu Pekan. Because the learning outcomes have met the success indicators, this study was carried out using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach which was carried out in one cycle. The learning process includes planning, implementing activities, observation and reflection. To assess students' understanding of the material, the assessment instrument used was LKPD. Based on the results of the study, 80.95% of students have met the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) with the predetermined values ​​and actively participated in the learning process. Thus, the use of the talking stick  model supported by question cards has proven effective in increasing student engagement and science learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya masyarakat dalam melestarikan kearifan lokal kain tenun berbahan serat daun nanas di Kelurahan Gunung Ibul, Kota Prabumulih. Penelitian ini mengangkat aspek-aspek sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya dalam upaya pelestarian tradisi tenun serat daun nanas yang telah menjadi bagian dari identitas lokal masyarakat setempat. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pengrajin, pengelola sentra tenun, serta perangkat kelurahan yang memiliki pengetahuan dan pengalaman terkait pelestarian kain tenun serat daun nanas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Kelurahan Gunung Ibul melakukan berbagai upaya pelestarian kain tenun serat daun nanas melalui tiga aspek utama. Pertama, peningkatan kapasitas produksi yang dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi dan bantuan alat dari pemerintah. Kedua, pewarisan keterampilan tenun secara turun-temurun, di mana pengrajin lokal berperan penting dalam mentransfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada generasi muda, meskipun masih ada tantangan terkait rendahnya minat generasi muda untuk melanjutkan tradisi ini. Ketiga, pengenalan produk melalui media digital yang semakin memperluas pasar bagi kain tenun serat daun nanas, baik di tingkat lokal maupun internasional. Namun, upaya pelestarian ini juga dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan. Keterbatasan bahan baku serat daun nanas yang berkualitas menjadi salah satu hambatan utama. Meskipun tanaman nanas banyak tumbuh di daerah tersebut, belum ada sistem pengelolaan yang optimal untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produksi. Selain itu, regenerasi pengrajin muda yang terbatas dan ketergantungan pada alat tenun manual menjadi faktor penghambat dalam meningkatkan volume produksi. Di sisi lain, meskipun terdapat dukungan dari pemerintah dan lembaga terkait, tantangan dalam hal pendanaan dan distribusi produk tetap mempengaruhi keberlanjutan usaha ini. Dukungan dari pemerintah daerah dan lembaga terkait sangat krusial dalam menjaga keberlanjutan kain tenun serat nanas sebagai wujud kearifan lokal. Penyuluhan dan pelatihan bagi pengrajin, pemberian fasilitas produksi yang lebih modern, serta promosi yang lebih intensif di media sosial dapat membuka peluang yang lebih besar bagi produk ini.

Abstract

Salah satu program efektif dalam pengembangan potensi peserta didik di sekolah dasar adalah program pojok baca yang merupakan program pendidikan yang menekankan kemampuan dasar peserta didik untuk senang belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi dampak, hambatan dan tantanngan program pojok baca dalam gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap kemampuan membaca peserta didik kelas V di SDN 14 Cakranegara. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dampak program pojok baca memberikan efek positif pada kemampuan membaca peserta didik kelas V. Mereka menunjukkan peningkatan minat dan sikap positif terhadap membaca. Namun, ada beberapa hambatan dan tantangan seperti minat baca yang rendah, keterbatasan sumber daya, waktu terbatas untuk membaca, dan fasilitas yang kurang memadai.

Abstract

Transnational Organised Crime (TOC) is a complex crime because it involves actors from several countries and has a structured mechanism. One case that is currently rife is Indonesian citizens (WNI) who are victims of TOC behind the gambling industry in Cambodia. This happens because they are tempted by high salaries and lack of literacy about opportunities to work abroad. In reality, they do not work as expected, they are exploited and work under threat. Therefore, there is a need for prevention by the government so that these crimes do not happen again. One of the agencies that has the authority to prevent such crimes is immigration. Immigration can prevent people from leaving Indonesian territory for administrative or state security reasons. It is expected that the immigration function can be implemented optimally so that Indonesian citizens do not become victims of exploitation abroad. So that national security and citizen protection are maintained.
