Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the types and meanings of deixis found inthe novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis. It employs a qualitative approach, focusingon utterances in the novel that contain deictic elements. The data were collectedusing an observational method with a non-participatory technique, combined withnote-taking and literature study through reading and analyzing relevant sources.The data analysis was carried out using both intralingual and extralingual matchingmethods, based on Levinson’s theory of deixis, and the findings are presenteddescriptively in an informal manner. The results reveal the presence of five typesof deixis in the novel: personal deixis, temporal deixis, spatial deixis, discoursedeixis, and social deixis. Each type of deixis carries contextual meanings thatreflect cultural values, social relati ons, and character dynamics within the story.These findings indicate that deixis serves not only a referential function but alsoacts as a marker of social and emotional relationships between characters.

Abstract

Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Permulaan Menggunakan Media Kartu Huruf Di Kelas I SDITumnuh Kec. Bungaya. Skripsi. Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan dan IlmuPendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Pembimbing I Abd. Rahman Rahim danpembimbing II Ummu Khaltsum.Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perbandinganhasil belajar menulis permulaan huruf kapital siswa kelas I SDI Tumbuh Kec. Bungaya mwnggunakanmedia kartu huruf. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulispermulaan menggunakan media kartu huruf siswa kelas I SDI Tumbuh Kec. Bungaya.Jenis penelitianini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (class room action research). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswakelas I SDI Tumbuh Kec. Bungaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan mediakartu huruf hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis permulaan dapat meningkat. Perolehan nilai rata-ratasiswa meningkat dari 69,58 dengan kategori sedang menjadi 79,58 dengan kategori tinggi. Pada tespasca tindakan siklus I terdapat 9 siswa (45%) dalam kategori tuntas, begitu juga dengan siswa yangmemperoleh kategori tidak tuntas juga terdapat 11 siswa (55%). Sedangkan pada tes pasca tindakansiklus II terdapat 17 siswa (85%) dalam kategori tuntas, begitu juga dengan siswa yang memperolehkategori tidak tuntas juga terdapat 3 siswa (15%).

Abstract

This research is based on initial observations conducted at the UPTD of SMP Negeri 2 Lolofitu Moi, which revealed that the teaching resources used were still limited and students' understanding of mathematical concepts was still low. The teaching materials were too complex for students to understand, so they had to rely entirely on teacher guidance in the learning process. The solution to this problem is the use of learning modules that are straightforward and sufficiently basic for students. To improve students' understanding of mathematical topics, this research aims to create a learning module based on discovery learning that is valid, useful, and efficient. Development research is the term for this type of research. The development model used is the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Learning tests, validation questionnaires, and response questionnaires were used as research tools. Qualitative and quantitative data were used in this study. Qualitative data consisted of validator comments and recommendations on the learning module that had been created. Meanwhile, quantitative data consisted of learning outcomes, teacher and student response surveys, and validator questionnaire findings. The learning module that had been created was evaluated and declared valid in terms of material validity (content), language validity, and design validity based on the research findings. Furthermore, with a practicality rating of 90% and a teacher practicality rating of 96.43%, this learning module was also highly beneficial for students. With a high average score of 80% and a classical completion rate of 84%, which is considered very effective, this learning module also successfully helped students understand mathematical concepts. Thus, it can be said that the discovery learning-based learning module that has been created has met the objectives and expectations of the research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the various forms of inner conflict experienced by the main character, Kim Ji-yeong, in the novel "Kim Ji-yeong Born in 1982" by Cho Nam-joo. This novel is highly relevant because it depicts the complex experiences of Korean women in facing patriarchal social pressures and expectations. Through the analysis of inner conflict, this study shows that women have complex desires, aspirations, and struggles in life, and they are not passive creatures. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research data were taken from words or sentences contained in the novel itself. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data collection, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed five forms of inner conflict found in the character of Kim Ji-yeong. First, a painful neurotic inner conflict, characterized by perfectionism, self-blame, and pressure from family. Second, inner conflict moves toward others, where Ji-yeong tries to conform to social expectations to avoid conflict. Third, inner conflict moves against others, shown by Ji-yeong's efforts to aggressively fight against her family. Fourth, the inner conflict of moving away from others, which makes Ji-yeong feel isolated, inferior, and lose her identity due to constant pressure. Fifth, the inner conflict of an unrealistic ideal image, where Ji-yeong is expected to be a perfect mother, wife, and worker without adequate support. Overall, this study not only provides an in-depth understanding of the experiences of fictional characters but also provides insights into the social realities faced by many women worldwide, including in Indonesia. Abstract

Local wisdom-based worksheets (LKPD) play a crucial role in learning activities. These local wisdom-based worksheets are expected to be utilized by teachers and students at SDK Mok to enhance their knowledge and learning outcomes in science. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility, attractiveness, and effectiveness of a local wisdom-based worksheet in improving student learning outcomes on the topic of the unique customs of the people around me. The type of research used is research and development, with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The data collection techniques used are test and non-test techniques. The data analysis techniques used are initial data analysis techniques and final data analysis techniques. The assessment of LKPD based on local wisdom was validated by three experts with the following results: material experts 80% (very feasible), language experts 97.5% (very feasible), and media experts 78.84% (very feasible). The trial was conducted on a limited basis with 10 students and expanded to 21 students. The results of the validity test showed that 15 questions were valid, reliable (α = 0.956 and α = 0.888), and had a good to very good level of difficulty and discriminatory power. Student learning outcomes increased, from an average pretest score of 60.95 to 91.66 on the posttest. The paired t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a significant influence of the use of LKPD on student learning outcomes. The N-Gain value of 0.7639 is included in the high category. Teacher responses to LKPD reached 87.5% with a very valid category and student response questionnaires with r counts of 0.490 to 0.867 with a valid category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal, khususnya pada materi kesebangunan. Representasi matematis mencakup tiga indikator, yaitu representasi visual, simbolik, dan verbal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Limau pada materi kesebangunan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 34 siswa kelas VII-1. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes berbentuk soal uraian dan wawancara, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 5 siswa memiliki kemampuan representasi matematis kategori tinggi, 17 siswa kategori sedang, dan 12 siswa kategori rendah. Siswa dengan kategori tinggi mampu memenuhi ketiga indikator representasi, siswa dengan kategori sedang hanya memenuhi dua indikator (simbolik dan verbal), sedangkan siswa kategori rendah hanya memenuhi salah satu indikator. Secara keseluruhan, kemampuan representasi matematis siswa berada pada kategori sedang, dengan kelemahan utama pada aspek visual dan simbolik. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi perlunya strategi pembelajaran yang menekankan pada penguatan representasi visual dan simbolik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Permasalahan sampah di kawasan wisata ditepian danau diatas,Pengelolaan sampah di kawasan wisata ditepian danau diatas,Strategi pengelolaan sampah untuk mewujudkan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Kawasan wisata ditepian danau diatas.. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari Dinas Pariwisata, Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, pengelola wisata,serta pengunjung. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Miles dan Huberman, sedangkan perumusan strategi menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1)permasalahan sampah kawasan wisata ditepian Danau Diatas bersifat kompleks, ditandai dengan meningkatnya volume sampah, terutama saat akhir pekan dan musim liburan. Jenis sampah yang dominan adalah anorganik (plastik, botol, kemasan makanan) dan organik (sisa makanan, pembungkus daun) dengan titik rawan di Cemara Park, Pulau Batu, dan Sianik Sarumpun. Faktor penyebab utama adalah rendahnya kesadaran pengunjung dan minimnya fasilitas kebersihan.2)Pengelolaan sampah di kawasan wisata ditepian danau diatas masih belum baik secara struktural (keterbatasan fasilitas, minim koordinasi antar instansi) maupun kultural (rendahnya kesadaran dan norma sosial).3)Berdasarkan analisis SWOT, strategi yang dihasilkan mencakup:SO Strategy – Pelatihan Pokdarwis dan UMKM, pengembangan ekowisata edukatif, dan insentif bagi pelaku aktif.WO Strategy – Kerja sama eksternal untuk fasilitas dan pendanaan, sistem manajemen sampah terpadu, serta teknologi pelaporan.ST Strategy – Kampanye kebersihan saat puncak kunjungan, penguatan peran Pokdarwis sebagai edukator, dan promosi destinasi bersih.WT Strategy – Penyusunan SOP pengelolaan, koordinasi lintas instansi, audit fasilitas, dan insentif pengelola aktif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bentuk, jenis, fungsi, dan makna tindakt utur (speech act) yang digunakan oleh Generasi Z di Lombok Timur dalam konten TikTok. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena meningkatnya penggunaan media sosial di kalangan Gen Z, khususnya TikTok, yang tidak hanya menjadi sarana hiburan tetapi juga ruang ekspresi diri, promosi budaya lokal, dan pembentukan identitas digital. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi nonpartisipan terhadap video, caption, dan komentar yang diunggah oleh pengguna Gen Z di Lombok Timur dalam rentang satu tahun terakhir. Data dianalisis menggunakan teori tindak tutur Austin dan Searle yang meliputi lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi, serta kategori asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif, dan deklaratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gen Z Lombok Timur menggunakan tindak tutur secara beragam untuk tujuan informatif, persuasif, ekspresif, dan deklaratif, dengan ciri khas penggunaan bahasa gaul, campur kode (Bahasa Indonesia–Inggris–Sasak), dan elemen multimodal seperti gestur, musik, dan visual. Temuan ini mengindikasikan adanya pengaruh kuat budaya lokal dan global dalam pola komunikasi digital Gen Z, serta relevansi teori pragmatik dalam memahami interaksi di media sosial. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada kajian pragmatik digital dan memberikan wawasan bagi pemanfaatan media sosial secara positif dan produktif.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low participation of Special Needs Elementary School (SDLB) students in physical education activities, which hinders the optimal development of their gross motor skills. One contributing factor is the use of monotonous teaching methods that are less adaptive to the needs of students with special needs. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of a modified traditional jump rope game in improving the motor activity of SDLB students. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 20 students with various disabilities, including mild intellectual disabilities, autism, and learning difficulties. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation sheets measuring balance, movement coordination, leg strength, active participation, and movement independence. The results revealed significant improvements across all indicators from Cycle I to Cycle II. The percentage of students in the well-developed – very well-developed category increased from 65% to 90% for balance, from 70% to 85% for movement coordination, from 70% to 90% for leg strength, from 70% to 90% for active participation, and from 65% to 88% for movement independence. These findings demonstrate that the modified jump rope game effectively enhances gross motor skills, self-confidence, and student engagement. It is recommended that this strategy be implemented sustainably with adequate facilities and teacher training to design adaptive and enjoyable learning activities for students with special needs.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental right guaranteed to every child, including refugee children in Indonesia. Although Indonesia has ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and issued national policies supporting access to education for refugees, implementation still faces various challenges. According to UNHCR data at the end of 2023, there were 12,295 registered refugees in Indonesia, including 3,555 children, of whom 227 were unaccompanied by parents or relatives and 106 were separated from their families, making them the most vulnerable group in terms of fulfilling their right to education. This study aims to analyse the gap between government regulations and the reality of implementing basic education for refugee children in Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a documentary study technique on circular letters from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, UNHCR reports, KPAI data, and other relevant publications. The results of the study show that although regulations such as the Secretary General of Kemendikbudristek Circular Letter No. 75253/A.A.4/HK/2019 have established mechanisms for providing education for refugee children, in reality only a small proportion of children have access to formal education. Out of 1,595 school-age children registered as of 2022, only 646 have accessed formal education, either in public or private schools. The main obstacles include administrative challenges, limited school capacity, lack of budgetary support from the state or local budgets, and insufficient readiness of communities and educational institutions to accept refugee children. Therefore, more technical operational policies, enhanced capacity of educational institutions, and inter-institutional coordination are needed to truly realise inclusive and equitable basic education.
