Abstract

The success of learning in elementary schools does not only depend on the content being taught but also on how teachers present media that are engaging and relevant to students’ needs. With this in mind, the present study explored the effectiveness of using flashcards to improve student learning outcomes in Civic Education for fifth graders at SD Negeri Pejuang V. The research was carried out using Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on Kemmis & McTaggart’s model, which involves four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study involved 30 students from class V.3, with data collected through tests, observations, and interviews to provide a comprehensive view of students’ progress. The findings were encouraging: in the first cycle, the mastery level rose from only 20% in the pretest to 66.7% in the posttest. This improvement continued in the second cycle, where the mastery rate increased from 53.3% to 86.7%. Beyond academic achievement, both teacher and student engagement in the learning process also showed notable growth. In the second cycle, teacher activity reached 94.6%, while student activity was recorded at 87.5%. This means that flashcards not only help students to better understand the material and improve their learning outcomes, but also enliven the classroom atmosphere, foster more communicative interaction, and encourage students to participate more actively.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia continues to evolve, with the Merdeka Curriculum emerging as a response to the need for flexible, relevant, and student-centered learning. Yet, its implementation in schools is not without challenges. Teachers often struggle with understanding the curriculum structure, planning effective lessons, and applying appropriate assessments. This study focuses on the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the third-grade Indonesian language class at SDN Karang Mulya 1, Tangerang City. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers have grasped the foundation of the Merdeka Curriculum, prepared lesson plans aligned with its principles, and delivered contextual as well as differentiated learning activities. Assessments were carried out diagnostically, formatively, and summatively, though understanding of authentic assessment still needs improvement. School facilities have supported the process, ensuring smoother implementation. In conclusion, the Merdeka Curriculum is on the right track in this school, yet strengthening teacher competence remains essential for future success.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Computer Virtual Reality (CVR)-based learning media to enhance immersive learning experiences in elementary schools. The background of this research is an innovation in learning media that can create a more interactive, contextual, and enjoyable learning environment in accordance with the demands of the Independent Curriculum. The research method used is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with the research subjects consisting of 21 fourth-grade students of class IV B at SDN 2 Suryawangi. The research instruments included an expert validation questionnaire, student and teacher response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests (pretest and posttest). Validation results indicate that the CVR learning media falls into the “very good” category. Subject matter experts gave a score of 8863 with an average of 88.63, while media experts scored 9285 with an average of 92.85. Twenty-one students' responses yielded a score of 9642 with an average of 96.42, while teachers' responses yielded a score of 9166 with an average of 91.66, both of which fall into the “very good” category. Pretest and posttest results showed improvement, with a score of 9243 with an average of 92.43. These results indicate that the CVR media is not only feasible and valid for use but also effective in improving learning outcomes while providing an immersive learning experience for students. Therefore, it can be concluded that CVR-based learning media is effective in improving the quality of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Body-worn cameras (bodycams) are a technological innovation that plays a crucial role in strengthening the transparency and accountability of immigration duties in Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review of journals, regulations, and official reports to examine the effectiveness, challenges, and policy strategies related to bodycam use. The results show that bodycams can be an effective accountability instrument because they objectively record interactions between officers and the public, thereby increasing public trust and strengthening oversight mechanisms. However, implementation faces obstacles such as data storage infrastructure, operational costs, and organizational cultural resistance, particularly at busy service points such as Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Therefore, comprehensive regulations, personal data protection, and continuous evaluation are needed for bodycams to become an instrument for immigration institutional reform.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the discovery learning method on poetry text learning outcomes among 10th-grade students at SMK PUI Gegesik. Therefore, the hypothesis of this study is: the use of the discovery learning method in poetry text learning among 10th-grade students at SMK PUI Gegesik. This study is a population-based study. The research design used a pretest-posttest control group design, with a sample consisting of two classes: 20 students in the control class, XA, and 20 students in the experimental class, XB. Data collection included tests, observations, and documentation. All of this data was used to determine the effectiveness of the discovery learning method. Based on the analyzed data, the average learning outcome score for the control class, XA, using the Think-Pair-Share method was 71.50, while the average learning outcome score for the experimental class, XB, using the discovery learning method was 79.00. Then obtained t count = 4.781 and t table = 2.024, thus t count > t table, namely 4.781 > 2.024. thus means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows the effectiveness of the use of the discovery learning method in learning poetry texts for class X students of SMK PUI Gegesik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Deskripsi Pelaksanaan Modul Nusantara Untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan Setelah Mengikuti Program Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM), yang bertujuan untuk memahami secara mendalam mengenai gambaran pelaksanaan kegiatan Modul Nusantara, mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang dihadapi selama pelaksanaannya, serta strategi mahasiswa dan lembaga (UNM) dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan 5 partisipan, terdiri dari Ketua MBKM UNM, Liaison Officer (LO) Modul Nusantara PMM UNM, dan 3 mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan peserta PMM Batch 3, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pelaksanaan Modul Nusantara berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan, yang terindentifikasi melalui peningkatan pemahaman keberagaman budaya, pengembangan ide media pembelajaran, peningkatan keterampilan sosial dan kerja tim. (2) permasalahan yang dihadapi meliputi kendala koordinasi dan komunikasi, pendampingan yang belum optimal, penyesuaian jadwal, kurangnya transparansi anggaran, kendala transportasi dan akomodasi, serta tantangan adaptasi budaya dan bahasa. (3) kombinasi antara dukungan lembaga (UNM) dan inisiatif mahasiswa dalam mengatasi permasalahan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, yang tidak hanya memfasilitasi penyelesaian masalah tetapi juga meningkatkan kompetensi dan kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan di dunia pendidikan dan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study is entitled The Use of Discovery Learning Model in Learning Observation Report Texts for Grade X Students of SMA Nu Juntinyuat. This study is motivated by the ability of students in writing observation report texts which is still very difficult. This study aims to determine the use of discovery learning models on the learning outcomes of writing observation reports for grade X students of SMA Nu Juntinyuat. Thus, the hypothesis of this study is: the effectiveness of the discovery learning model in learning observation report texts in grade X SMA Nu Juntinyuat. This study is a type of quasi-experimental research. The research design used is a pretest-posttest control group design, with research samples consisting of two classes, namely class X 3 as a control class with a total of 22 students and class X 1 as an experimental class with a total of 23 students. This study uses test data collection, observation and documentation of all the data as material to determine the effectiveness of the use of the discovery learning model. Based on the analyzed data, the average learning outcome score for control class X3 using the Discussion method was 73.40, while the average learning outcome score for experimental class X1 using the discovery learning model was 80.22. Therefore, the calculated t-test was greater than the table t-test, i.e., 2.755 > 2.016. This indicates that Ha was accepted and . Thus, the researcher concluded that the application of the discovery learning method to writing observational report texts in class X of SMA NU Juntinyuat was effective.

Abstract

Digital transformation through the M-Passport application has made passport applications easier, but still presents challenges for applicants with disabilities and those with limited technological literacy. This situation prompted innovation in the form of a separate pathway at the Pematangsiantar Class II Immigration Office as an effort to create more inclusive public services. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The separate pathway was implemented through direct assistance from officers who effectively assist vulnerable groups. Supporting factors include good internal communication, employee competence, and a positive disposition in the form of empathy. Barriers include limited outreach, inadequate human resources, and infrastructure. In conclusion, the separate pathway needs to be strengthened through regulations and resource support to become the standard for inclusive public services throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of agility and speed training on dribbling skills in extracurricular soccer students at SMP Negeri 1 Eremerasa, and to compare the effectiveness of both forms of training. This study used an experimental method with a Two Groups Pretest-Posttest Design. The results showed that both agility and speed training had a significant effect on improving dribbling skills

Abstract

"“The Influence of the Use of Independent Training Features on the Ruang GTK (Teachers and Education Personnel) Platform on the Pedagogical Competence of Elementary School Teachers in Sabbangparu District, Wajo Regency”". Educational Administration Study Program, Postgraduate Program, Makassar State University. (supervised by Dr. Andi Makkasau, M.Si.. and Dr. Erma Suryani Sahabuddin, M.Si.). This study aims to determine the effect of utilizing the Self-Training feature on the Ruang GTK Platform on the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers in Sabbangparu District, Wajo Regency. The background of this research is rooted in the transformation of the national education system, which requires teachers to be adaptive to technological advancements and the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The Ruang GTK Platform, a rebranding of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform, provides a Self-Training feature designed to enhance teacher quality and professionalism through flexible and independent learning access. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using questionnaires and open interviews for data collection. The sample consisted of 75 homeroom teachers from Cluster IV of Sabbangparu District. The results show that the level of utilization of the Self-Training feature is high, as is the level of teachers’ pedagogical competence. Simple linier regression analysis revealed a positive and significant influence between the use of the Self-Training feature and the teachers’ pedagogical competence. Thus, it can be concluded that the utilization of the Self- Training feature on the Ruang GTK Platform significantly contributes to improving teachers’ pedagogical competence, especially in the areas of lesson planning, student- centered instruction, and constructive assessment and feedback. This study recommends optimizing the use of the Ruang GTK Platform as a sustainable means of professional development for teachers.
