Abstract

Sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata L.) is a plant that contains more carbohydrates so that it becomes one of the second most important commodities after rice, both as a source of food and feed. The objectives of this study were to obtain the best Paclobutrazol Concentration on the Growth and Yield of Sweet Corn on Peat Soil in Rasau Jaya 2 and to obtain the best Planting System on the Growth and Yield of Sweet Corn on Peat Soil in Rasau Jaya. The research was conducted on Mr. Sugianto's land located at Patok 28, Rasau Jaya 2 Village, Rasau Jaya District, Kubu Raya Regency. This research took place from July 24, 2023 - September 30, 2023. This study used a Split Plot Design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the concentration of Paclobutrazol (P) which consists of 4 treatment levels and the second factor is a modified double row planting system (D) with 3 treatment levels, so that the total treatment combination is 12. Each treatment combination was repeated 3 times and each treatment unit consisted of 5 plant samples.  In the Split Plot Design, Paclobutrazol concentration (P) was used as the main plot, while the modified double row planting system (D) was used as a sub plot. The observed variables were plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, leaf area, root volume, ear weight per plot, weight of ear, weight of ear without shell, weight per ear without shell, ear with shell and ear without shell. Observation data were statistically analyzed using variance (F test at 5% level). If the F test showed a real effect, then the Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test was continued at the 5% level. On the basis of the results of the study, it can be concluded that the single application of paclobutrazol can suppress the plant height but has the same effect of reduction of plant height by 3-5 cm. The planting system (15+15) cm x 80 cm with the use of paclobutrazol 1000 ppm can increase the weight of cob per plot better than other planting systems. Keywords: Soil, Sweet Corn, Paclobutrazol, Planting System. INTISARIJagung manis (Zea mays saccharata L.) merupakan tanaman yang mengandung karbohidrat lebih banyak sehingga menjadi salah satu komoditi terpenting kedua setelah padi, baik sebagai sumber pangan maupun pakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan Konsentrasi Paclobutrazol terbaik terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Jagung Manis pada Tanah Gambut di Rasau Jaya 2 dan untuk mendapatkan Sistem Tanam terbaik terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Jagung Manis pada Tanah Gambut di Rasau Jaya. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan Bapak Sugianto yang berada di Patok 28, Desa Rasau Jaya 2, Kecamatan Rasau Jaya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Penelitian ini berlangsung dari tanggal 24 Juli 2023 – 30 September 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (Split Plot Design) yang terdiri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu konsentrasi Paclobutrazol (P) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan dan faktor kedua adalah modifikasi Sistem Tanam double row (D) dengan 3 taraf perlakuan, sehingga total kombinasi perlakuan sebanyak 12 . Setiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali dan masing-masing unit perlakuan terdiri 5 sampel tanaman.  Pada rancangan Split Plot Design konsentrasi Paclobutrazol (P) dijadikan petak utama (main plot), sedangkan modifikasi Sistem Tanam double row (D) dijadikan sebagai anak petak (sub plot). Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, luas daun, volume akar, bobot tongkol per petak, bobot per tongkol berkelobot, bobot per tongkol tanpa kelobot, panjang tongkol dan diameter tongkol. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis secara statistik dengan menggunakan varians (uji F taraf 5%). Apabila uji F menunjukkan adanya pengaruh nyata, maka dilanjutkn uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf 5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian paclobutrazol secara tunggal dapat menekan tinggi tanaman namun memberikan pengaruh yang sama pengurangan tinggi tanaman 3-5 cm. Sistem tanam (15+15)cm x 80 cm dengan penggunaan paclobutrazol 1000 ppm dapat meningkatkan bobot tongkol perpetak lebih baik dibandingkan sistem tanam lainnya. Kata Kunci : Gambut, Jagung Manis, Paclobutrazol, Sistem Tanam.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the efficiency and pattern of pineapple marketing channels in Pangkul Village, Cambai District, Prabumulih City. This research was carried out from March to April 2023. The sampling method used purposive sampling of 16 farmers, 1 collector and 6 retailers. To determine the marketing efficiency of pineapples, quantitative analysis is used, while to determine the pineapple marketing channel patterns, descriptive analysis is used. The research results show that there are three (3) marketing channel patterns for pineapple fruit, namely: channel pattern I. Farmers sell their harvest to collectors and collectors sell to factories. Channel pattern II Farmers sell their crops to retailers and retailers sell to final consumers. Channel III pattern: farmers sell their crops to collectors, then collectors sell to retailers and retailers sell to final consumers. Of the three pineapple marketing channel patterns, it turns out that marketing pattern I is efficient compared to marketing patterns II and III. Judging from the margin and farmer's share results, marketing channel pattern I is said to be efficient, because the marketing margin value is lower and the farmer's share is higher, namely 52. 8% of marketing channel patterns II and III. The highest profit is found in marketing channel pattern III IDR  10,739.7/piece. In marketing channel pattern I, the profit obtained by collectors is IDR  1,782/piece, marketing costs IDR  577/piece and margin IDR  2,360/piece. In marketing channel pattern II, the retailer's profit is IDR  10,539.7/piece, marketing costs IDR  1,626.3/piece, and a margin of IDR  4,055.33/piece.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of applying duck manure and liquid organic vegetable fertilizer on the growth and production of tomato plants. This research used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors with 12 treatment combinations and 3 replications so that 36 plots were required in the study. The first factor examined was the treatment of duck manure with the symbol "K" consisting of K0 = 0 g/polybag, K1 = 500 g/polybag, K2 = 1000 g/polybag, K3 = 1500 g/polybag. Factor II treatment of giving liquid organic vegetable fertilizer with the symbol S consists of S0 = 0 mL/liter of water/plot, S1 = 10 mL/liter of water/plot, S2 = 20 mL/liter of water/plot. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), number of productive branches, number of fruit per sample, weight of fruit per sample (g) and fruit diameter (mm). The results of the research showed that the application of duck dung fertilizer showed a very significant different effect on the parameters of plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), sample fruit weight (g) and fruit diameter (mm), but showed no significant effect on the parameter of the number of productive branches. , number of fruit per sample, while liquid organic fertilizer for vegetables and the second interaction showed no significant influence on all observation parameters, namely plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), number of productive branches, number of fruit per sample, weight of fruit per sample (g) and fruit diameter (mm). Key words: duck manure, liquid organic vegetable fertilizer, tomatoes

Abstract

The quality of organic fertilizer produced from the composting process depends on the basic ingredients used and the length of time for composting. The quality of organic fertilizer that meets the standards will affect soil fertility and plant growth. The aim of this research was to see the effect of the length of composting time on the nutrient content of KoHeA+MF organic fertilizer.. The length of composting time is 7, 14 and 21 days. The parameters observed included pH, C-organic, N-total, P2O5, K2O, Mg-total, Ca-total and CEC. The results obtained at 21 days the content of C-organic, N-total, P2O5 and CEC was higher compared to 7 and 14 days. In general, the length of composting time does not really affect the nutrient content of the KoHeA+MF organic fertilizer produced. At 7 days composting time has met the quality standards of organic fertilizers that can be used to improve soil fertility and increase crop production.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the interaction between IBA concentration and growth media composition. Apart from that, determine the provision of IBA and the best composition of growing media for the formation of roots and shoots of rose cuttings. This research was carried out for 4 months, starting from March to June 2022 at the UPT Farm Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Andalas University, Padang. The design used was a Factorial Design with 2 factors arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor is the provision of IBA which consists of 4 levels (0; 50; 100; 150 ppm). The second factor is the composition of the growing medium which consists of 3 levels: (soil + charcoal husk + cow manure; soil + coconut fiber powder (cocopeat); soil + sand + cow manure). The research data were analyzed statistically using the F test at the 5% level. If the calculated F is greater than the F table of 5%, then proceed with the Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at level 5. The results of the research show that there is no interaction between the concentration of IBA (Indole-3 butyric acid) and the composition of the growing media in root formation and rose cuttings. The best IBA concentration for forming roots and shoots from rose cuttings is a concentration of 100 ppm, while the best growing medium for forming roots and shoots from rose cuttings is soil + sand + cow manure.

Abstract

Limbah organik dari kulit kakao dan sampah organik pasar memiliki pengaruh yang besar, berpengaruh besar yang dimanfaatkan sebagai kompos untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada. Ini karena kulit kakao dan sampah organik kaya akan unsur hara penting dan zat organik yang bermanfaat untuk tanaman dan memperbaiki struktur tanah. Indonesia, sebagai negara yang kaya akan sumber daya alam, memiliki sumber daya alam yang bisa dimanfaatkan dalam meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat dengan mengelola limbah organik yang berasal dari kulit dan sampah organik. Tujuan utama untuk mengetahui dosis terbaik dari penggunaan kompos kulit kakao dan limbah pasar sebagai pupuk organik untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada. Metode eksperimen dengan RAK (Rancangan Acak Kelompok) faktorial dengan beberapa variabel pengamatan parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang daun, lebar daun dan bobot segar. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kompos kulit kakao dan limbah pasar dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman selada pada perlakuan K4L1 dengan dosis terbaik yaitu 200 g/polybag pada kompos kulit kakao dan 500 g/polybag pada limbah pasar, sedangkan dosis terbaik untuk hasil tanaman selada terdapat pada perlakuan K4L2 dengan dosis terbaik yaitu 200 g/polybag pada kompos kulit kakao dan 540 g/polybag pada limbah pasar. Kesimpulan ini menekankan pengaruh pemberian kompos kulit kakao dan limbah pasar serta manfaatnya dalam mendukung pertanian berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The need for the availability of quality oil palm seedlings in increasing quantities is in line with the increasing demand for palm oil from the world population. Maintenance of good seedlings in the main nursery through proper fertilization doses is an effort to achieve optimal results in the development of oil palm cultivation. This study aims to determine the effect of NPKMg. fertilizer with planting media using additional 20% coconut fiber and the frequency of watering the oil palm seedlings in the main nursery. The design used in this study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), which consisted of: The first treatment factor was NPKMg. fertilization. 15-15-15-2 (P) with 4 levels, namely: P0 = Without Fertilization (Control), P1 = NPKMg. Fertilization. 15g, P2 = NPKMg. fertilization. 30g, P3 = NPKMg. fertilization. 45g and the second factor treatment is the frequency of watering (F) with 2 levels, namely: F1 = 1 time (watering in the morning) and F2 = 2 times (watering in the morning and evening) with 4 repetitions and 6 sample plants per treatment. The data from the research results were analyzed by the Analysis of Variance (Anova) and if the results of the analysis were significant, it was continued with the Duncan Mean Range Test (DMRT) at α = 5%. Parameters measured were plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), number of leaves (cm), total leaf area (cm2), the fresh weight of the root (g), root dry weight (g), fresh weight of the canopy (g) and crown dry weight (g). The results showed that the administration of NPKMg. fertilizer with planting media using additional 20% coconut fiber at a dose of 15g per seed was optimal and significantly increased the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) In the main nusery. The frequency of watering is done once, namely in the morning when using planting media with the addition of 20% coconut fiber to increase the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) In the main nusery, because it is not significantly different from the frequency of watering twice a day, namely morning and evening. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh NPKMg. pemupukan dengan media tanam menggunakan tambahan sabut kelapa 20% dan frekuensi penyiraman bibit kelapa sawit di persemaian utama. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial, yang terdiri dari: Perlakuan pertama adalah faktor NPKMg. pemupukan. 15-15-15-2 (P) dengan 4 taraf yaitu : P0 = Tanpa Pemupukan (Kontrol), P1 = NPKMg. Pemupukan. 15g, P2 = NPKMg. pemupukan. 30g, P3 = NPKMg. pemupukan. 45g dan perlakuan faktor kedua adalah frekuensi penyiraman (F) dengan 2 taraf yaitu : F1 = 1 kali (penyiraman pagi hari) dan F2 = 2 kali (penyiraman pagi dan sore hari) dengan 4 kali pengulangan dan 6 tanaman sampel. per perawatan. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan Analysis of Variance (Anova) dan apabila hasil analisis signifikan dilanjutkan dengan Duncan Mean Range Test (DMRT) pada α = 5%. Parameter yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), diameter batang (cm), jumlah daun (cm), luas daun total (cm2), bobot segar akar (g), bobot kering akar (g), bobot segar akar (g). kanopi (g) dan berat kering tajuk (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian NPKMg. Pemupukan dengan media tanam menggunakan tambahan sabut kelapa 20% dengan dosis 15g per benih sudah optimal dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) di pembibitan utama secara signifikan. Frekuensi penyiraman dilakukan satu kali yaitu pada pagi hari saat menggunakan media tanam dengan penambahan sabut kelapa 20% untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) pada pembibitan utama, karena tidak berbeda nyata dengan frekuensi penyiraman dua kali sehari yaitu pagi dan sore. Interaksi pemberian NPKMg. Abstract

Plantations are one part of the agricultural sector that has an important role in increasing national economic growth. Of the many commodities in the plantation subsector that have the most important role in the economic activity of this nation, one of them is oil palm. The development of oil palm, among others, provides benefits in increasing the income of farmers and the community. This study aims to determine the feasibility of oil palm farming in Suka Maju Village, Karossa District, Central Mamuju Regency. This research was conducted in Suka Maju Village, Karossa District, Central Mamuju Regency. The sample in this study were 42 oil palm farmers. Data collection techniques by compiling detailed question items and conducting questions and answers to find out how much the feasibility of oil palm farming in Suka Maju Village, Karossa District, Central Mamuju Regency. The results showed that: (1) Oil palm farming in Suka Maju Village, Karossa Sub-district, Central Mamuju Regency is profitable with a 9% NPV of 1.09. (2) It is feasible to develop with IRR analysis obtained a value of 0.52%. Keywords:. Dari sekian banyak komoditi pada subsektor perkebunan yang memiliki peranan terpenting terhadap aktivitas ekonomi bangsa ini, salah satunya kelapa sawit. Pengembangan kelapa sawit antara lain memberi manfaat dalam peningkatan pendapatan petani dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha tani kelapa sawit di Desa Suka Maju Kecamatan Karossa Kabupaten Mamuju Tengah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Suka Maju Kecamatan Karossa Kabupaten Mamuju Tengah. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 42 orang petani sawit. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara menyusun item-item pertanyaan secara terperinci dan melakukan tanya jawab untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kelayakan usaha tani kelapa sawit di Desa Suka Maju Kecamatan Karossa Kabupaten Mamuju Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Usahatani kelapa sawit di Desa Suka Maju Kecamatan Karossa Kabupaten Mamuju Tengah terbilang menguntungkan dengan NPV 9% yaitu 1,09. Abstract

One effort to increase cucumber productivity is to increase fertilizer input. One of the fertilizer products on the market is Organic Liquid Compost (OLC). This research aims to determine the effect of giving chicken manure OLC on the availability of N, P, K nutrients as well as the growth and yield of cucumber plants in peat soil. The research consisted of 5 treatments and 4 replications, so there were 20 experimental units. The parameters used in this research include: soil pH, soil C-Organic, soil N-total, soil available P, soil K-DD, fruit length per plant, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, plant height, and number of leaves per plant. From the research results it is known that the OLC treatment of 300 ml/l chicken manure gave the best results in P-available, namely 2077 ppm, in fruit length per plant, namely 23.66 cm, in the number of fruit per plant, namely 2.25 fruit, in fruit weight per plant, namely 366.6 grams, as well as plant height, namely 101.35 cm. Keywords: cucumber plant, olc chicken manure, pead soil INTISARISalah satu upaya meningkatkan produktivitas mentimun adalah dengan meningkatkan input pupuk. Salah satu produk pupuk yang beredar di pasaran adalah Pupuk Organik Cair (POC). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian POC kotoran ayam terhadap ketersediaan hara N, P, K serta pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun di tanah gambut. Penelitian terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 20 unit percobaan. Parameter yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: pH tanah, C-Organik tanah, N-total tanah, P-tersedia tanah, K-dd tanah, panjang buah per tanaman, jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot buah per tanaman, tinggi tanaman, dan jumlah daun per tanaman. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa perlakuan POC kotoran ayam 300 ml/l memberikan hasil terbaik pada P-tersedia, yaitu 2077 ppm, pada panjang buah per tanaman, yaitu 23,66 cm, pada jumlah buah per tanaman, yaitu 2,25 buah, pada berat buah per tanaman, yaitu 366,6 gram, serta pada tinggi tanaman, yaitu 101,35 cm. Kata kunci: poc  kotoran ayam, tanaman mentimun, tanah gambut

Abstract

known as "dragon fruit" which is widely cultivated in various countries in Asia. The high demand for dragon fruit makes the availability of seeds for dragon fruit development difficult. The in-vitro technique is a suitable alternative to provide large quantities of seed in a short time. Media and growth regulators are the determining factors for explant growth. The combination of NAA and BAP is suitable for dragon fruit, which is useful for triggering cell division in the tissue made by explants and triggering shoot growth, root formation, stem elongation and root elongation. The purpose of the study was to obtain the best interaction of Naphtaleine Acetic Acid and Benzyl Amino Purine concentrations for dragon fruit subculture growth. This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors, namely Naphtaleine Acetic Acid concentration (0.2 ppm, 0.4 ppm, 0.6 ppm, 0.8 ppm) and Benzyl Amino Purine concentration (1 ppm, 2 ppm, 3 ppm 4 ppm) with each consisting of 4 concentration levels, resulting in 16 treatment combinations. The treatment was repeated 3 times and each treatment unit consisted of 4 samples. The variables observed in this study were the percentage of sprouted explants (%), the time of the first shoot (week after planting), the number of shoots (buds), the time of the first root appearance (week after planting) and the number of roots (strands). The results showed that the interaction of NAA and BAP concentrations did not produce the best interaction concentration effect on dragon fruit explants so that the objectives were not achieved. At a concentration of 0.6 ppm NAA is effective in increasing the number of roots of dragon fruit explants and a concentration of 1 ppm BAP is effective in accelerating the time of root emergence and increasing the number of roots of dragon fruit explants.
