Abstract

Writing skill is the ability to express ideas, opinions or even feelings to others using written media. Writing is still considered the most difficult skill to master. The study aims to develop a descriptive writing guidebook. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the research design of Borg and Gall modified by Sugiyono. The result of the research is the learning media of guide book to write descriptions based on go to your post. Based on the result of the due diligence of media experts, the criteria are feasible with an average value of 79%. The results of the validation by material experts obtained very feasible criteria with an average value of 87,31%. The results of the validation by linguists obtained the appropriate criteria with an average value of 76%. As for the results of the student response questionnaire on the limited trial obtained an average value of 92% with very good criteria. Based on these results, the final product in the form of a guidebook to write a description essay based on go to your post is declare suitable for use in the learning activities of grade 5 elementary school students.

Abstract

The research entitled "The Influence of the Project Based Learning Learning Model on the Ability to Write Dramatic Manuscripts for Class XI Madrasah Aliyah Mathla'ul Anwar Pusat Menes" aims to find or determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on the ability to write drama scripts. In this study, the authors used a quantitative approach with a type of experiment with research techniques used including literature review, trials, analytical techniques, test techniques or assessments. From the results of the research conducted, there was an effect of using the Project Based Learning learning model on the ability to write drama scripts for class XI Madrasah Aliyah Mathla'ul Anwar Pusat Menes. Based on the calculations, it is obtained that t count is 6.754 and t table is 1.661 with a significance level of α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom 66. The value of t count > from t table, then based on the criteria for testing the hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is a significant effect of using the Project Based Learning learning model on the ability to write drama scripts, the results are higher when compared to using the direct learning model.

Abstract

This study will reveal the analysis of creative thinking skills of junior high school students with theoretical learning styles in solving vertical side-space problems. The process of creative thinking includes students with a type of theoretical learning style. This student's creative thinking process can be seen from the behavior of students in posing and solving problems that can describe their mental actions. This research was conducted at SMP Al Inayah Purwosari Pasuruan. The research subjects were the 8th grade students of SMP Al Inayah Purwosari Pasuruan.Based on the research results it is known that the subject has fulfilled the aspects of novelty, fluency, and flexibility as indicators of creative thinking ability. The subject is able to fulfill the novelty aspect because it can cause problems that are different from the problems raised previously. The subject is able to fulfill aspects of fluency because it can cause problems that are diverse and different from other students. The subject is able to fulfill the aspect of flexibility because it uses a different solution than usual.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether the use of inquiry learning method can increase students' learning activities in social studies learning in elementary schools. This research approach was qualitative, using classroom action research method. The research procedure refers to the Lewis method in the form of a cycle. Each cycle consists of four main activities, namely planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving plans. The results of the study showed that the application of the inquiry learning method in social studies learning can increase students' learning activities. So, it can be concluded that the inquiry learning method is a learning method that can develop student learning activities, which has an impact on increasing student learning outcomes. Therefore, the application of the inquiry learning method is highly recommended for use in social studies learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the steps for developing Vtuber animated video learning media, test the feasibility of media for use, and students' responses to media. This research is a part of research and development (R&D) using the multimedia development method proposed by Luther based on 6 stages of development. The data collection techniques carried out are interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The subjects in this study were students of classes VIII A and VIII B of SMP Negeri 9 Serang City. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical techniques. Media experts and material experts carry out validation tests to determine the feasibility of the media. The results showed that the Vtuber interactive animated video learning media received a percentage score of 82.5% with the criteria "Very Feasible" by Media Experts and a percentage of 84% with the criteria of "Very Feasible" by Material Experts. Overall, the average result of the percentage gain for media eligibility by media experts and material experts was 83.25%, so as to get the "Very Feasible" criterion. And the results of the trial on 65 students as respondents obtained a percentage score of 84.26% with the criterion "Strongly Agree" from all four aspects of the student response questionnaire. From the results of validation and student response, the development of Vtuber animation media can be used for the learning process Indonesian with the theme of poetry.

Abstract

This research explores the significance of local wisdom within the Teke dance of the Lea Tribe community in Degalea Village, Nangaroro District, Nagekeo Regency. We aim to identify how these local wisdom values can be integrated into guidance and counseling services. Our study employs a qualitative research design, utilizing documentation studies, observations, and in-depth interviews with informants and participants as research instruments. Data analysis follows a three-step process: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The findings reveal that the Teke dance embodies local wisdom values such as religious devotion, community togetherness, mutual cooperation, familiarity, and harmony, as evidenced in the choreography. Additionally, the sung poetry reflects local wisdom in family education, personal and social life, and leadership. These discovered values can be integrated into guidance and counseling services to enhance self-awareness and foster healthy, effective behaviors, particularly in addressing deviant behavior, preventing deviations, and promoting personal development within one’s social environment

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the principal's academic supervision at SMP Negeri 5 Gunungkencana. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was obtained from the Banten Province BPMP supervision instrument. The supervision instrument consists of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), learning process, and assessment. The sample for this research was eight teachers consisting of five female teachers and three male teachers with varying subject expertise. The curriculum used is the 2013 Curriculum. In the RPP aspect, almost all teachers have made complete RPPs even though they are not yet systematic, although there is one teacher who has made RPPs systematically but not yet complete. In the aspect of the learning process, all teachers have carried out the learning process well starting from the introductory, core, and closing activities. Finally, in the assessment aspect, all teachers have carried out assessments in accordance with the three domains (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) of the 2013 Curriculum. It can be concluded that teachers at SMP Negeri 5 Gunungkencana have carried out learning well. It is hoped that the results of this supervision can become an illustration and reference for related parties, especially school principals, to improve teacher performance.

Abstract

This development research aims to describe and describe the development, feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of creative smart tube learning activity media to improve storytelling skills in kindergarten. This development research uses qualitative methods with R&D techniques which refer to the research and development design in Borg and Gall in aten stage research development process. In this development research, the researcher only took seven stages including advantages and problems, combining data, creating media, validating media, improving media, testing media, and revising media. Data collection techniques use observation, question and answer, documentation and bibliography techniques. The results of the accumulated data were then validated using development validation techniques which included the assessment stage of the feasibility results of creative smart tube media carried out by material experts and media experts. The data analysis technique uses qualitative data analysis. From the results of the data description and assessment of the results of development research, a summary conclusion can be drawn, namely: (1) validation of the achievement of the appropriateness of the props by media experts shows a value of 4.35 with an achievement percentage of 87.05% (very feasible), (2) validation of the practicality of the media obtained from group and field trials, (3) validation of media effectiveness obtained from product trials, (4) development of creative smart tube learning media realized in the form of digital learning media, web-based creative smart educational games in the form of numbers, letters and words.

Abstract

Genre Pedagogy is a text-based learning model. The learning process in the curriculum in Indonesia is to present language learning activities that refer to the Genre Pedagogy model. Articles that have been published contain many genre pedagogical models used in foreign language and non-language learning. Why was this research carried out? Looking at the digital-based conditions and times related to strong literacy skills in understanding various types of text. The aim of the research is to review literature related to the application of genre pedagogical learning models that use technology or are digitally based. The research method used is analysis or bibliometric methods sourced from Scopus and Crossref metadata using the Publish or Perish application. Based on searches and analysis using the Publish or Perish search system, it can be seen that there has not been a single study that specifically links it to digital-based Indonesian language learning. Thus, research is still needed on the application of digital-based genre pedagogy to Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in students' 4C skills in biochemistry practicum with the application of the project-based learning model. The design used in this study is a pre-experimental design with one class of research samples. The samples used in this study were students of the University's Chemistry Education Study Program who took the 2023/2024 Biochemistry Practicum course in class R-001. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire instrument. The questionnaire instrument was used to obtain 4C skills data. Data on 4C skills were analyzed using paired sample t-test. The application of the project-based learning model in biochemistry practicum resulted in an increase in students' 4C skills by 0.00. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' 4C skills in biochemistry practicum with the application of the project-based learning model
