Abstract

This research aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the concept of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the context of Indonesia's national education system. It analyzes the role of PAI in shaping the character, morals, and spirituality of students to produce individuals who are devout, pious, and possess noble character. Using a qualitative case study approach, data was collected through interviews, direct observation, and analysis of relevant documents. The findings highlight that although PAI plays a crucial role in character development, there are challenges such as limited instructional time, lack of interest from students, and a disconnect between religious and general education. The study suggests reforming PAI through innovative teaching strategies, increased family support, and professional development for teachers. The research concludes that PAI has significant potential to contribute to character education in Indonesia, forming morally sound individuals who contribute positively to society. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai konsep Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam konteks sistem pendidikan nasional Indonesia. Penelitian ini menganalisis peran PAI dalam membentuk karakter, moral, dan spiritual siswa untuk menghasilkan individu yang beriman, bertakwa, dan berakhlak mulia. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun PAI berperan penting dalam pengembangan karakter, terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu pengajaran, rendahnya minat siswa, dan ketidakselarasan antara pendidikan agama dan umum. Penelitian ini menyarankan reformasi PAI melalui strategi pembelajaran inovatif, peningkatan dukungan keluarga, dan pengembangan profesionalisme guru. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa PAI memiliki potensi besar dalam pendidikan karakter di Indonesia, membentuk individu yang berakhlak baik dan berkontribusi positif bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

One crucial factor in promoting entrepreneurship within a country is the role of universities through the implementation of entrepreneurship education. This form of education not only offers a theoretical foundation in entrepreneurial concepts but also shapes students' attitudes, mindsets, and perspectives towards starting businesses. This research seeks to understand the concept and implementation of entrepreneurship education in university courses aimed at fostering students’ entrepreneurial interests, the factors that drive this interest, and the advantages of entrepreneurship education. Using qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach, the study gathered data from purposively selected participants through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through triangulation techniques. Findings reveal that entrepreneurship education, effectively integrated into university courses, significantly boosts students' interest in entrepreneurship. Besides theoretical insights, students gain practical experiences that enhance essential skills, such as marketing, business management, and performance evaluation. Factors influencing entrepreneurial interest include personal ambition, supportive educational environments, and firsthand experiences in business activities. The benefits of these courses include increasing students’ motivation, skills, and preparedness for the business world, along with contributing positively to the country's economic development by nurturing a new generation of entrepreneurs. Salah satu faktor penting dalam pertumbuhan kewirausahaan di suatu negara adalah peran perguruan tinggi melalui penyelenggaraan pendidikan kewirausahaan. Pendidikan kewirausahaan tidak hanya memberikan dasar teori tentang konsep wirausaha, tetapi juga berperan dalam membentuk pola pikir, sikap, dan pandangan mahasiswa terhadap wirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep pendidikan kewirausahaan, implementasinya dalam perkuliahan guna untuk menumbuhkan minat berwirausaha pada mahasiswa, faktor-faktor yang mendorong minat berwirausaha, serta manfaat dari mata kuliah kewirausahaan bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik triangulasi untuk menjamin keabsahan data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan telah diintegrasikan secara efektif ke dalam mata kuliah kewirausahaan, yang berperan besar dalam meningkatkan minat mahasiswa terhadap dunia wirausaha. Mahasiswa tidak hanya mendapatkan pengetahuan teoretis, tetapi juga pengalaman praktis yang memperkuat keterampilan mereka dalam bisnis, seperti strategi pemasaran, pengelolaan usaha, dan evaluasi kinerja. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat berwirausaha meliputi keinginan pribadi, dukungan lingkungan pendidikan, serta pengalaman langsung dalam kegiatan bisnis. Manfaat dari perkuliahan ini antara lain peningkatan motivasi, keterampilan, dan kesiapan mahasiswa untuk menghadapi dunia usaha setelah lulus, serta kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan perekonomian negara dengan munculnya wirausaha-wirausaha baru.

Abstract

This study is grounded in the need to improve students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (IRE), which are often hindered by monotonous teaching methods and limited student engagement. The objective of this research is to examine the effectiveness of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) method supported by question board media in enhancing students’ understanding and achievement. This study employed a quantitative approach using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, involving 25 twelfth-grade students. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments, classroom observations, and student questionnaires. The findings reveal a significant improvement in learning outcomes, as indicated by the increase in mean scores from 73.8 in the pretest to 90.2 in the posttest. Statistical analysis shows that the t-count (4.30) exceeds the t-table (2.06), confirming a significant difference after the intervention. Furthermore, the implementation of TSTS encourages active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking, while the question board media supports students in understanding abstract religious concepts. This study contributes to the development of innovative and interactive learning strategies in Islamic education by integrating cooperative learning models with visual media to optimize student engagement and comprehension.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing demand for teachers’ technological competence in blended learning after the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the persistent gender disparities in access to and use of educational technology. The objective of this research is to analyze efforts to improve teachers’ competence in technology-based blended learning from a gender perspective. The study employs a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews involving teachers from various educational levels. The survey measures teachers’ technological competence, while interviews explore their experiences, challenges, and access to training. The results reveal significant differences in competence influenced by gender, age, and teaching experience. Male teachers generally demonstrate higher confidence and better access to technology training, whereas female teachers, particularly in rural areas, face limitations related to time, resources, and socio-cultural factors. These disparities affect the effectiveness of blended learning implementation. The study highlights the need for gender-responsive and flexible training programs to ensure equal opportunities for all teachers. This research contributes by offering a gender-based framework to enhance teacher competence, support inclusive professional development, and promote equitable and effective learning environments in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of environmental values and pro-environmental behavior must begin from an early age, particularly within primary education. Schools, therefore, have a strategic role in shaping sustainable habits through educational interventions. This study aims to assess the need for educational programs that integrate green activities and to evaluate teachers’ and principals’ understanding of green consumer behavior. Using an Ex Post Facto research design and purposive sampling, data were collected from 32 fifth-grade teachers and 32 public primary school principals in Bandung, Indonesia. A validated Guttman-scale questionnaire was used, and data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results showed that all respondents recognized the importance of implementing green activities and instilling green consumer behavior. The gap between conceptual understanding and classroom practice—particularly among teachers—indicates a need for more targeted capacity-building. This study highlights the importance of developing integrated, project-based, and contextually relevant learning models to promote environmental literacy and responsible consumption, contributing to the broader goals of environmental education and character development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Group Investigation Type cooperative learning model to the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education in seventh-grade students at SMPN 4 Cianjur through online learning. This study used a quasi-experimental method located at SMPN 4 Cianjur. The data collection tools used were observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and literature studies—quantitative data analysis with a statistical approach. The results of this study are: first, the application of the group investigation type cooperative learning model to PAI and Budi Pekerti subjects in class VII SMPN 4 Cianjur with online learning is included in the particular category as indicated by the acquisition of variable X of 4.20 which is included in the interval 4.20 to 5.00. Second, the learning motivation of class VII students at SMPN 4 Cianjur is high if online learning using the group investigation type cooperative learning model is included in the high category as indicated by the acquisition of the Y variable of 3.92, namely at intervals. From 3.40 to 4.19. Third, the application of the Group Investigation type of cooperative learning model in online learning has a relationship with an increase in student motivation of 0.83 with a strong category including the interval 0.80-1.00. The significant influence of variable X on variable Y can influence or contribute 68.9%, while other factors influence the remaining 31.11%.

Abstract

Changes in religious behavior are influenced by religious attitudes, including behavior during adolescence. A good religious attitude will lead to good religious behavior. Religious attitudes are formed through direct experience through interaction with various elements of the social environment. Therefore, a person's religious attitude is different in responding to a stimulus, including between dormitory and non-dormitory students. This study aims to determine the level of comparison of religious attitudes between dormitory and non-dormitory students.This research uses descriptive quantitative method. Data was obtained using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple statistics. The sample used was 34 students, consisting of 17 dormitory students and 17 non-boarding students. After the data was processed, the researchers generally analyzed the level of differences in religious attitudes between dormitory and non-dormitory students and the differences in each dimension of religious attitudes. The analysis of the mean scores resulted in the finding that in general, the difference in religious attitudes between dormitory and non-dormitory students was 4.1 > 4.1. Analysis on each dimension is known that from the five dimensions, the level of comparison in the three dimensions is obtained by the dormitory students. The three dimensions are ritual (3.9 > 3.4), mystical (4.5 > 4.3) and intellectual (4.5 > 4.2). Meanwhile, non-boarding students are superior in ideological dimensions (4.0 < 4.2). And the social dimension has the same level of religious attitude (4.3 = 4.3).

Abstract

The education process can run smoothly if it has a competent teacher quality. Schools must ensure the quality of teachers in order to produce quality teachers. This study aims to determine the understanding of educators in the Education Unit Accreditation Instrument (IASP) 2020 in order to improve the quality of education at SD/MI Serangpanjang, Subang, Indonesia by using the mechanism of the accreditation component. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data from interviews, distributing research questionnaires, and document studies. The results showed that the IASP 2020 could be understood well by teachers at SD/MI, Serangpanjang District, Subang Regency. Teachers at SD/MI, Serangpanjang Sub-district, Subang Regency can understand the statements in the 2020 Education Unit Accreditation Instrument. The conclusion is that the understanding of Islamic Religious Education and Teachers of Non-Islamic Religious Education regarding the quality components of elementary school teachers is well understood. The research is completed with the hope that it can be taken into consideration in improving the quality of teachers. Proses pendidikan dapat berjalan dengan mulus jika mempunyai mutu guru yang berkompeten. Sekolah harus melakukan proses penjaminan mutu guru setiap saat agar dapat menghasilkan guru yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta mendeskripsikan pemahaman pendidik dalam Instrument Akreditasi Satuan Pendidikan (IASP) 2020 guna meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SD/MI Serangpanjang, Subang, Indonesia dengan menggunakan mekanisme komponen-komponen akreditasi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan data hasil wawancara, penyebaran angket peneltian, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa IASP 2020 dapat di pahami dengan baik oleh guru di SD/MI Kecamatan Serangpanjang Kabupaten Subang. Hasil pemahaman pendidik di SD/MI Kecamatan Serangpanjang Kabupaten Subang dengan hasil akhir guru dapat memahami pernyataan-pernyataan dalam Instrument Akreditasi Satuan Pendidikan 2020. Oleh karena itu dapat dikatakan bahwa pemahaman guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Non Pendidikan Agama Islam mengenai komponen mutu guru tingkat SD sudah dipahami dengan baik. Penelitian ini diselesaikan dengan harapan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan dalam peningkatan kualitas guru.

Abstract

The concept of educational goals in the Qur'an must be implemented. In other words, the concept of educational goals must be able to realize the educational design described in the book of the Qur'an, especially in Q.S. Al-Jumu'ah verse 2. This article discuss the Q.S. Al-Jumu'ah verse 2 and its implications for education. The approach in this study uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used in this research is library research. Data collection techniques using documentation techniques sourced from primary data and secondary data for further data analysis using descriptive analysis. The result of this research is the interpretation of Surah Al-Jumu'ah Verse 2 is by sending Allah's messenger to mankind, aiming to complete the education of science and morals as well as faith from the book. Then education, learning and skills are forms of internalization for self-potential development as part of the task of an educator. And educators must understand the concept of educational goals and have 3 teacher competencies (cognitive, affective and psychomotor). Konsep tujuan pendidikan dalam Qur’an harus diimplementasikan, dengan kata lain, konsep tujuan pendidikan harus mampu mewujudkan desain pendidikan yang dijelaskan dalam kitab Al-Qur'an, terutama dalam Q.S. Al-Jumu’ah ayat 2. Artikel ini akan membahas tentang Q.S. Al-Jumu’ah ayat 2 beserta implikasinya pada pendidikan. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendeketan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah menggunakan studi pustaka (library research). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi yang bersumber dari data primer dan data sekunder untuk selanjutnya analisis data menggunakan analisis depskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tafsiran Surat Al-Jumu’ah Ayat 2 ini adalah dengan diutusnya utusan Allah kepada umat manusia, bertujuan untuk melengkapi pendidikan ilmu dan akhlak serta keimanan dari kitab. Kemudian Pendidikan, pembelajaran dan keterampilan adalah bentuk-bentuk internalisasi untuk pengembangan potensi diri sebagai bagian dari tugas seorang pendidik.dan pendidik harus memahami konsep tujuan Pendidikan serta memiliki 3 kompetensi guru (kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik).

Abstract

Among the programs owned by the Daarul Falah Islamic boarding school is the "ittihadul mubalighin" program which focuses on helping students learn together in preaching. For this reason, this study wants to discuss the implementation of the "ittihadul mubalighin" program at the Daarul Falah Islamic boarding school to help proselytizing education by students. The research methodology used is descriptive analysis, which is research that aims to focus on solving problems that exist in the present and have factual problems by explaining everything about ittihadul mubalighin at the Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School. The Ittihadul Mubalighin program is a mandatory program that must be taken by students who live in Daarul Falah Islamic Boarding School. The Ittihadul Mubalighin program is coordinated by the head of the organization's board of trustees who is the ustad of the Tahfihz Al-Quran Daarul Falah Islamic Boarding School.  Diantara program yang dimiliki oleh pondok pesantren Daarul Falah adalah program “ittihadul mubalighin” yang berfokus untuk membantu santri belajar bersama dalam berdakwah. Untuk itu, penelitian ini ingin membahas mengenai pelaksanaan program “ittihadul mubalighin” pada pondok pesantren Daarul Falah untuk membantu pendidikan dakwah oleh santri. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif analisis, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk memfokuskan pada pemecahan masalah yang ada pada masa sekarang dan memiliki masalah yang faktual dengan menjelaskan segala sesuatu tentang ittihadul mubalighin di Pondok Pesantren Darul Falah. Program Ittihadul Mubalighin merupakan program wajib yang harus ditempuh oleh santri yang bermukim di Pondok Pesantren Tahfihz Al-Quran Daarul Falah. Program Ittihadul Mubalighin dikoordinir oleh ketua majelis pembina organisasi yang merupakan ustad dari Pondok Pesantren Tahfihz Al-Quran Daarul Falah.
