Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has diversity, culture, ethnicity, language and religion, the impact of differences in society often causes problems and hostility and even bloodshed due to heterogeneous understanding. In fact, if differences are combined well, it will produce diversity and awareness that this is all a gift from God which has given the potential to become a pluralistic society in terms of cultural dimensions which will bring a more mature civilization towards a just, harmonious, advanced and prosperous nation. The aim of this research is to implement multicultural education at As-Salam High School in Islamic education management education. The method used is a qualitative method with a library study approach which is then analyzed. The results of this research, Multicultural Education is a concept that must be implemented in everyday life, especially applied in schools so that students have a paradigm/mainsentor a mindset of accepting differences and mutual respect, tolerance, diversity, equality of rights and obligations with the Pancasila philosophy with a Tunggal Ika diversity frame, even though we are different, we are one Indonesian unit. Differences due to the essence of life, everything does not have to be the same, but how can these differences bring a positive appearance towards happiness and prosperity. Instead, differences become classic problems that create complications based on race, religion and ethnicity which create disharmony. The conclusion is that pluralism cannot be eliminated, but how humans respond to differences in terms of ethnicity, culture, ethnicity and religion so that they can be implemented in the management of Islamic education is seen from the multicultural urgency at SMA As-Salam Bandung. Indonesia merupakan sebuah negara yang mempunyai keragaman, budaya, suku, etnik, bahasa dan agama, dampak dari perbedaan dimasyarat sering terjadi menimbulkan permasalahan dan permusuhan bahkan petumpahan dara akibat heterogen pemahanan. padahal apabila perbedaan dikelola dengan baik  akan menghasilkan keragaman dan kesadara bahwa ini  semua merupakan anugerah Tuhan yang telah memberikan potensi untuk manjadi masyarakat majemuk dari segi dimensi kultular yang membawa peradaban yang lebih dewasa menuju bangsa yang adil, harmonis, maju dan  makmur. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengimplementasikan pendidikan multikultural di SMA As-Salam dalam pendidikan manajemen pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi perpusakaan yang selanjutnya dianalisis. Hasil dari penelitian ini, Pendidikan Multikutural sebuah konsep yang harus diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, khususnya diterapkan disekolah-sekolah agar siswa paradigma/ mainsent atau pola berpikir  menerima perbedaan dan saling menghormati, toleransi, kebergaman, persaman hak dan kewajiban berfalsafah pancasila dengan bingkai bineka Tunggal Ika meskipun berbeda-beda tetapi kita satu kesatuan Indonesia.  Perbedaan karena hakikatnya hidup segala sesuatu tidak harus sama tetapi bagaimana perbedaan ini dapat membawa nampak yang positif menuju kebahagian dan kemakmuran. Alih-alih perbedaan dijadiakan permasalahan yang klasik yang membuat komplik yang dilatarbelakangi suku, agama dan etnik yang membuat tidak harmonis. Simpulan bahwa kemajemukan tidak bisa dihilangkan tetapi bagaimana cara manusia menyikapi perbedaan dari segi suku, budaya, etnik dan agama agar dapat diimplementasikan dalam manajemen pendidikan Islam dilihat dari urgensi multikultural di SMA As-Salam Bandung.

Abstract

Education is currently experiencing changes that are far from instilling religious values, so there is a need for a dhikr approach in educating students and not just focusing on thinking. The purpose of this research is to find out the potential between thinking and remembrance and its implications in Islamic education. This article uses a qualitative approach by taking books, journals, newspapers and others according to the title and material discussed. From these problems it can be concluded that by combining Islamic education from thinking and remembrance it will produce humans who are always strong from the outside and strong from within as well, strong from the outside, one of which is physically, emotionally, can make decisions correctly and is strong from within, namely his relationship with Allah Almighty being more harmonious in carrying out any activity cannot be separated from remembering Allah SWT. Pendidikan islam pada zaman ini telah mengalami penurunan nilai-nilai agama yang begitu jauh, siswa semakin kurang dari sisi spiritualnya, sehingga perlu dan harus adanya perubahan, salah satu pendekatannya dengan membersihkan hati kembali kepada Allah Swt. dengan cara berzikir membuka pikiran terhadap nilai-nilai agama. Tujuan penelitian ini diharapkan menjadikan siswa lebih dekat kepada Allah Swt. dan menjadi siswa yang berkualitas bukan kuantitas. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengambil dari buku, jurnal, koran dan lainnya yang sesuai dengan judul dan materi yang dibahas. Dari hasil penemuan berbagai litertatur bahwa berfikit dan dzikir memiliki kesinanbungan dalam memperbaiki jasmani dan rohani siswa yang nantinya akan memiliki rasa empati, berakhlak mulia, berkata dengan sopan santun. Simpulannya dalam hal ini bahwasanya dengan menggabungkan pendidikan Islam dari pikir dan zikir akan menghasilkan manusia yang senantiasa kuat dari luar dan kuat dari dalam pula, kuat dari luar salah satunya fisik, emosional, dapat mengambil keputusan dengan tepat dan kuat dari dalam yaitu hubungan siswa dengan Allah Swt. semakin harmonis dalam melakukan aktivitas apapun tidak lepas dari mengingat Allah Swt.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is the low awareness and understanding of the importance of multicultural education among Indonesian educators and students. The aim of this research is to identify effective multicultural education development strategies that can be implemented in Indonesian schools to increase tolerance and cultural diversity among students. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach which includes in-depth analysis of literature and previous research regarding multicultural education. Data was collected by studying various journals, books and official documents that discuss the concept, implementation and impact of multicultural education. Research shows that effective strategies include integrating multicultural values into the curriculum, teacher training and development, and active participation in school community. The research concluded that implementing multicultural education in a planned and systematic manner can increase understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity, so that it can strengthen the unity and integrity of a multicultural society. Permasalahan utama penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kesadaran dan pemahaman akan pentingnya pendidikan multikultural di kalangan pendidik dan siswa Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pengembangan pendidikan multikultural yang efektif yang dapat diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah Indonesia untuk meningkatkan toleransi dan keragaman budaya di kalangan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan tinjauan pustaka yang mencakup analisis mendalam terhadap literatur dan penelitian terdahulu mengenai pendidikan multikultural. Data dikumpulkan dengan mempelajari berbagai jurnal, buku, dan dokumen resmi yang membahas tentang konsep, implementasi, dan dampak pendidikan multikultural. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang efektif antara lain mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai multikultural ke dalam kurikulum, pelatihan dan pengembangan guru, dan partisipasi aktif dalam komunitas sekolah. Penelitian tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa penyelenggaraan pendidikan multikultural secara terencana dan sistematis dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan apresiasi terhadap keberagaman budaya, sehingga dapat memperkuat persatuan dan kesatuan masyarakat multikultural.

Abstract

The problem often faced by the world of education is students' attitudes towards learning. In fact, students easily get bored with learning that only uses textbooks in the form of worksheets in class. Students are more enthusiastic about smartphones than live games. Students also often show a lack of tolerance in learning. This research aims to describe the development process and results of developing interactive media on religious diversity in Indonesia based on Nearpod. Researchers used the Research and Development method with the ADDIE research model. This media has been validated by media experts with results of 88%, material experts with results of 90%, and learning experts with results of 82%. This media was tested on class IV students at Islamic Elementary School Fathul Ulum Sukosewu. The effectiveness of the media used is 0.61, which means that Nearpod-based interactive media is quite effective in optimizing religious moderation at Islamic Elementary School Fathul Ulum Sukosewu. Apart from that, with this media students can also better understand and understand other people's opinions. Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi dunia pendidikan adalah sikap siswa dalam pembelajaran. Bahkan, siswa gampang merasa bosan dengan pembelajaran yang hanya menggunakan buku ajar berupa LKS di kelas. Siswa lebih antusias dengan smartphone dari permainan langsung. Lemahnya sikap toleransi juga sering ditunjukkan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan dan hasil pengembangan media interaktif materi keberagaman agama di Indonesia berbasis Nearpod. Peneliti menggunakan metode Research and Development (RND) dengan model penelitian ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa Prosedur pengembangan media interaktif berbasis Nearpod ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima langkah yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Media ini telah di validasikan oleh ahli media dengan hasil 88%, ahli materi dengan hasil 90%, dan ahli pembelajaran dengan hasil 82%. Media ini di uji cobakan kepada siswa siswi kelas IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Fathul Ulum Sukosewu. Efektivitas media yang digunakan yaitu sebesar 0,61 yang berarti media interaktif berbasis Nearpod ini cukup efektif untuk mengoptimalkan moderasi beragama di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Fathul Ulum Sukosewu. Selain itu, dengan media ini siswa juga dapat lebih mengerti dan memahami pendapat orang lain.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore aspects of culture and social structure, the tools used to promote coexistence, and the collaboration between the Muslim and Buddhist communities. In the context of Thailand, pluralism, or religious and cultural diversity, plays a crucial role as it can be a potential source of conflict. One form of conflict that has arisen is the tension between the Pattani Muslim community and the Buddhist population in Thailand. However, the role of Islamic education there has a significant impact on fostering interreligious harmony. Through 26 days of participatory observation at Ar-Rabity Technological College in Thailand, this research successfully revealed that Thai society holds strong nationalistic sentiments, values religious diversity, and places a high importance on social hierarchy. Furthermore, various strategies have been employed to maintain harmony in Thailand, such as multicultural education, instilling tolerance values from an early age, and organizing cross-cultural communication seminars. Through these efforts, it is hoped that a more inclusive and harmonious environment can be cultivated amidst the religious and cultural diversity present in Thailand. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelajahi aspek budaya dan struktur sosial, alat-alat yang digunakan untuk mempromosikan kerukunan, serta kolaborasi antara komunitas Muslim dan Buddha. Dalam konteks Thailand, pluralitas atau keberagaman agama dan budaya memiliki peran krusial karena dapat menjadi pemicu konflik. Salah satu bentuk konflik yang muncul adalah pertentangan antara umat Muslim Pattani dan umat Buddha Thailand. Namun, peran pendidikan Islam di sana memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam merawat kerukunan antaragama. Melalui partisipasi aktif selama 26 hari di Ar-Rabity Technological College Thailand, penelitian ini berhasil mengungkapkan bahwa masyarakat Thailand memiliki rasa nasionalisme yang kuat, menghargai keragaman agama, dan memperhatikan hierarki sosial yang sangat penting. Selain itu, untuk menjaga kerukunan di Thailand, berbagai strategi telah digunakan, seperti pendidikan multikultural, penanaman nilai-nilai toleransi sejak usia dini, dan penyelenggaraan seminar komunikasi lintas budaya. Melalui upaya-upaya ini, diharapkan dapat membentuk lingkungan yang lebih inklusif dan harmonis di tengah keberagaman agama dan budaya yang ada di Thailand.

Abstract

Many things, like the normal teacher-centered learning system in Bangladesh, can be used to make the education system better, especially student-centered learning. These include peer observation, group learning, classroom observation, group supervision, and more. The main goal of this study is to find out how students in higher education institutions in Bangladesh feel about how important group research is to their academic growth in the teaching and learning system. Honors students in a college under Bangladesh National University for four years were chosen by researchers. There are both qualitative and quantitative parts to this study. To get the process done, several questions and action plans need to be carefully thought through. Group work plays a crucial role in higher education, particularly in Bangladeshi religious studies classes. Implementing this collaborative system enhances student progress and academic performance, emphasizing the need for cooperation among students, instructors, and administration to achieve educational goals and contribute to national development. Banyak hal, seperti sistem pembelajaran berbasis guru yang umum digunakan di Bangladesh, dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan sistem pendidikan, terutama pembelajaran berbasis siswa. Ini melibatkan pengamatan antar teman, pembelajaran kelompok, observasi kelas, supervisi kelompok, dan lain-lain. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana para mahasiswa di institusi pendidikan tinggi di Bangladesh merasakan sejauh mana penelitian kelompok penting bagi perkembangan akademik mereka dalam sistem pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Para mahasiswa berprestasi di sebuah perguruan tinggi di bawah Universitas Nasional Bangladesh selama empat tahun dipilih oleh para peneliti. Penelitian ini memiliki bagian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Untuk menyelesaikan proses ini, beberapa pertanyaan dan rencana tindakan perlu dipikirkan dengan cermat. Kerja kelompok memainkan peran penting dalam pendidikan tinggi, khususnya di kelas studi agama Bangladesh. Menerapkan sistem kolaboratif ini meningkatkan kemajuan siswa dan kinerja akademik, menekankan perlunya kerja sama antara siswa, instruktur, dan administrasi untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan dan berkontribusi terhadap pembangunan nasional.

Abstract

This article delineates the process of evaluating the substance of religious education literature affiliated with Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Moderation is regarded as a fundamental component of a pluralistic and multicultural society. Beyond that, its primary objective is to prevent division within the nation and address the issue of intolerance in textbooks. By employing a qualitative-descriptive-exploratory conceptual framework and conducting focus group discussions (FGDs) with multiple experts, this writing method is informed by meticulous observation and reading of religious education texts spanning grades kindergarten to high school. This research demonstrates that religious textbooks continue to include material that has the potential to incite violence, prejudice, and hostility. Furthermore, this analysis establishes textbook evaluation as a "bridge" to achieving religious moderation in madrasas and institutions. The independent assessment team and the book evaluation committee were both interviewed. This study emphasises the significance of providing authors and publishers with writing guidelines, training, and mentoring to ensure that the quality of textbooks produced aligns with the content embraced by the nation's norms, values, and culture. Artikel ini menguraikan proses penilaian substansi literatur pendidikan agama yang berafiliasi dengan Islam, Katolik, Protestan, Hindu, dan Budha. Moderasi dianggap sebagai komponen mendasar dari masyarakat pluralistik dan multikultural. Selain itu, tujuan utamanya adalah untuk mencegah perpecahan dalam bangsa dan mengatasi masalah intoleransi dalam buku pelajaran. Dengan menggunakan kerangka konseptual kualitatif-deskriptif-eksploratif dan melakukan diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD) dengan berbagai ahli, metode penulisan ini didasarkan pada observasi dan pembacaan yang cermat terhadap teks-teks pendidikan agama mulai dari tingkat taman kanak-kanak hingga sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa buku teks agama masih memuat materi yang berpotensi memicu kekerasan, prasangka, dan permusuhan. Lebih lanjut, analisis ini menjadikan evaluasi buku teks sebagai “jembatan” pencapaian moderasi beragama di madrasah dan lembaga. Tim penilai independen dan panitia evaluasi buku sama-sama diwawancarai. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya memberikan pedoman penulisan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan kepada penulis dan penerbit untuk memastikan bahwa kualitas buku teks yang dihasilkan sejalan dengan konten yang dianut oleh norma, nilai, dan budaya bangsa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how the character education form is being implemented in society with a particular emphasis on the function of governmental, social, and public institutions. In this study, we use the qualitative research method with a literature study approach to better understand the role that public spaces, social organizations, and governmental bodies play in character education and how that role affects the development of good character in society. This study explores the perspectives of many stakeholders in the application of character education bentuks in society using data collection approaches from various documentations, including journals and document analysis. It is anticipated that this study's findings will help people better comprehend the significance of the role that governments play in society. The study emphasizes the crucial role of active involvement from government institutions, social institutions, and public spaces in shaping good character in society. The research results are expected to provide a profound understanding of the positive impact that can result from the active engagement of these entities. Thus, the research aims to fill knowledge gaps related to the implementation of community-based character education. The conclusion of this research reflects the urgency of collaborative efforts between the government, social institutions, and public spaces in shaping positive character values, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of life in society.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki implementasi bentuk pendidikan karakter berbasis masyarakat, dengan fokus pada peran institusi pemerintah, institusi sosial, dan ruang-ruang publik. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif merupakan pisau yang kami gunakan dalam penelitian ini guna memahami secara mendalam bagaimana institusi pemerintah, institusi sosial, dan ruang-ruang publik terlibat dalam pendidikan karakter, serta dampak yang ditimbulkan dalam membentuk nilai-nilai karakter yang positif dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur seperti jurnal serta analisis dokumen untuk menggali perspektif berbagai pemangku kepentingan dalam implementasi bentuk pendidikan karakter di masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pentingnya peran institusi pemerintah, institusi sosial, dan ruang-ruang publik dalam membentuk karakter yang baik dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya peran aktif institusi pemerintah, institusi sosial, dan ruang-ruang publik dalam membentuk karakter yang baik dalam masyarakat. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang dampak positif yang dapat dihasilkan oleh keterlibatan aktif dari pihak-pihak tersebut. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisi kesenjangan pengetahuan terkait implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis masyarakat. Simpulan penelitian ini mencerminkan urgensi peran bersama pemerintah, institusi sosial, dan ruang-ruang publik dalam membentuk nilai-nilai karakter yang positif, yang pada gilirannya dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat secara keseluruhan.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the development of teaching materials, and the level of feasibility of using technology-based teaching materials in learning Islamic Religious Education. This research is a type of research and development (Research and Development). By using the four-D (4-D) model developed by Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The results of this study, according to media and material experts, show that the teaching materials developed have very feasible criteria with an average score of 4.65, both according to media experts and material experts based on their aspect assessment. Meanwhile, according to students' responses, they have an average score of 4.25 with very decent teaching material assessment criteria. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengembangan bahan ajar, dan tingkat kelayakan penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis teknologi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Dengan menggunakan model four-D (4-D) yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Hasil penelitian ini, menurut ahli media dan ahli materi, menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria sangat layak dengan skor rata-rata 4,65, baik menurut ahli media maupun ahli materi berdasarkan aspek penilaian mereka. Sementara itu, menurut respon siswa, bahan ajar tersebut memiliki skor rata-rata 4,25 dengan kriteria penilaian bahan ajar yang sangat layak.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Smile, Greet, Salute Habituation as a religious behavior in the environment of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 7 Tapanuli Tengah students. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through participatory observation, interviews, and analysis of related documents. The results showed that the habituation of 3S at MIN 7 Tapanuli Tengah has had a positive impact in shaping the religious behavior of students. The existence of a supportive school policy and active participation of students in the practice of 3S can create a friendly environment, and mutual respect, and strengthen religious values. The implications of this research can be a reference for other educational institutions in developing inclusive religious practices at the elementary school level.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi Pembiasaan Senyum, Sapa, Salam (3S) sebagai perilaku keberagamaan di lingkungan peserta didik Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 7 Tapanuli Tengah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan 3S di MIN 7 Tapanuli Tengah telah memberikan dampak positif dalam membentuk perilaku keberagamaan peserta didik. Adanya kebijakan sekolah yang mendukung dan partisipasi aktif peserta didik dalam praktik 3S mampu menciptakan lingkungan yang ramah, saling menghargai, dan memperkuat nilai-nilai keberagamaan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi institusi pendidikan lain dalam mengembangkan praktik keberagamaan yang inklusif di tingkat sekolah dasar.
