Abstract

As stated in the opening of the 1945 Constitution that the goal of the Indonesian nation is to educate the life of the nation. This goal can be realized through National Education. Furthermore, Government Regulation (PP) Number 4 of 2022 concerning Amendments to PP Number 57 of 2021 concerning National Education Standards states that the competency standards of graduates in the Secondary Education Level Education Unit specifically focus on the preparation of students to become members of society who believe and fear God Almighty and have noble character. The aim of this research is to reform the implementation of differentiated learning to increase student learning activities according to each student's learning style in Economics class X 4 students at SMA Negeri 1 Parang. This type of research is Class Action Assessment (classroom action research), data collection techniques in observational research, learning achievement tests, documentation. Based on the results and discussion data, it can be concluded that the application of differentiated learning can improve the economics learning outcomes of Class X 4 SMA Negeri 1 Parang in the 2022/2023 Academic Year on the subject of Markets and Formation of Market Prices. The increase in learning outcomes is indicated by an increase in the average value of learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, namely in cycle I 66.78 and in cycle II 81.53. During the first cycle, there were 10 students who fulfilled the KKTP, whereas during the second cycle, there were 30 students who fulfilled the KKTP, with 75 KKTP. In the first cycle, learning outcomes increased, namely the number of students who completed 10 students (31%) while students who Not yet finished, totaling 22 students (67%) with an average value of 67. Then in cycle II there was a very high increase compared to the previous cycle, namely students who had reached KKTP totaled 30 students (94%), while students who had not completed 2 students (6%) with an average value of 82.

Abstract

One of the problems in the learning process is that there are still many students who tend to be passive during learning activities because the teacher is still considered the main source of learning. The learning process will feel boring, the result is that many students are busy on their own, sleepy, joking with their friends, even playing gadgets. The objectives of this study, namely; (1) to know the implementation of syntax, (2) to know student activity, (3) to know student responses, and (4) to know the effect of problem-based learning on increasing student knowledge. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model applies a Student Centered learning style or learning that focuses on students so that the teacher is only a facilitator. This research only focuses on increasing knowledge or cognitive, where the knowledge aspect is oriented towards developing thinking skills that include intellectual abilities ranging from remembering to solving problems. This research method is quantitative with experimental research type and research design in the form of control group pretest-posttest design. The data analysis technique uses the t test. The results of data analysis get an average difference between the pretest score of 65.71 and the posttest of 86.82 and are supported by hypothesis testing using the Independent t-test which gets a result of 0.035, where the significance is <0.05 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted so it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model can increase student knowledge.

Abstract

Learning is the main component in the educational process, so a learning design is needed to support an increase in students' understanding of concepts. Learning outcomes as a product of conceptual understanding must show a good level after the learning process occurs. One biology material that tends to be difficult for teachers and students is the classification of living things. The discovery learning model is the solution to improve student learning outcomes in this material. This study aimed to conduct a study of various studies related to implementing the discovery learning model to improve student learning outcomes in the classification of living things. This research used the literature study method on various scientific articles from national journals and proceedings in the last ten years. From the search results, 19 scientific articles were obtained, which were analyzed to prove that the discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the classification of living things.

Abstract

Independent learning is an active way of learning for students, students who have a high will when learning, and students who have the initiative to learn on their own without being told by others. This study aims to determine the effect of student learning independence on the results of learning mathematics in fraction material. This research used in this study is a correlational study using the product moment formula. The sample used was students of class III.B SD Negeri 5 Rambutan. In this study, before using the hypothesis test, a prerequisite test was carried out first, namely the normality test and it was declared to be normally distributed. Then do a correlation test and get the results rxy = 0.830. Test the hypothesis using the t-test. The results of testing the hypothesis obtained significant values in questionnaires and tests, namely 5,953 where ttable = 2.120 with df = n-2 where n = 18 so df = 16 with level α = 0.05, so it can be concluded tcount = 5,953 ≥ ttable = 2.210 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, or there is an influence of student learning independence on the mathematics learning outcomes of fractional material for third grade students at SD Negeri 5 Rambutan.

Abstract

This study evaluates the influence of Scout extracurricular activities on self-directed learning in 5th-grade students at SDN Cibodas, Tangerang City. Data collected includes pre and post assessments of students' self-directed learning. The study involved 57 students divided into control and experimental groups. Results indicate a significant difference in self-directed learning between the two groups. Students who participated in Scout activities showed a notable improvement in self-directed learning compared to non-participating students. These findings support the hypothesis that Scout extracurricular activities positively impact students' self-directed learning. The implications highlight the importance of Scouts in fostering student independence. Through Scout activities, students develop crucial skills such as self-directed learning and problem-solving. This insight guides schools and stakeholders in designing holistic educational programs that prioritize the integration of Scout extracurricular activities. Additionally, this research contributes to the existing literature on the influence of extracurricular activities on student development. The findings serve as a foundation for further research investigating additional factors influencing the impact of Scout activities on students' self-directed learning. It also informs the development of more effective extracurricular programs aimed at enhancing students' self-directed learning abilities

Abstract

A media puzzle is a media that combines an image and a puzzle where the way to play is to combine a piece of a pattern or image so that it becomes a pattern unit which is the key to the answer. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the media puzzle as an alternative to mastery of numbers and numbers. This study uses experimental research, the method used is experimental design with a type one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample used was all grade II students at SD Negeri 137 Palembang. Before conducting the hypothesis test, the prerequisite test was carried out in this study, namely the normality test and homogeneity test and it was stated that the distribution was normal and homogeneous, the hypothesis test was carried out using the t test, namely the paired sample t test. The results of testing the hypothesis obtained a significant value on the test-retest and posttest ie 10.329 where ttable= 1.796 with df = n-2 where n = 13 so df = 11 with the levels α = 0.05, so it can be concluded tcount= 10.329 ≥ ttable= 1,796 eyes Ha accepted H0 rejected, or the influence of the application of the media puzzle as an alternative to mastery of numbers and numbers in class II SD Negeri 137 Palembang

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership of the head of the madrasah in improving teacher discipline and performance in MAN 2 Cilegon City. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection is carried out by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained is then analyzed using qualitative data analysis consisting of: (a) data reduction, (b) data presentation, and (c) conclusions. The results of this study show that the leadership of the head of the madrasah in MAN 2 Cilegon City with a democratic leadership style that is open, communicative, and prioritizes common interests. Efforts made in improving discipline in MAN 2 Cilegon City are by cultivating commitment, reward and punishment, as well as using points for attendance. Meanwhile, the efforts of MAN 1 Cilegon City in improving teacher performance are by providing coaching, attending training and seminars, supervising. In general, the effectiveness of leadership in MAN 2 Cilegon City in improving teacher discipline and performance cannot be seen because it is still running, and the planned work programs are also still continuing from the previous leadership even though there are new programs implemented but all are still running. So the leadership of the head of the madrasah will affect in improving teacher discipline and performance, because the head of the madrasah is the spearhead in improving teacher discipline and performance.

Abstract

The teacher is the spearhead of educational progress, if the teacher has good competence, it is certain that the output produced will also be good. But in reality this is not always the case, the problem of student delinquency which is still a scourge in the world of education suggests that the role of the teacher so far has only been limited to teaching material in class, moreover the teacher is considered weak because he has not been able to transform the essential values ​​of education as a whole. in the learning process. In order for the implementation of education to be more focused, a policy is needed which is the basic reference as well as a legal umbrella to overcome problems in the world of education. The policies that have been set are expected to be able to improve the quality of existing education. The formulation of the problem of this thesis is how is the policy of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving the quality of teachers, how is the implementation of the strategic plan of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in increasing teacher competence, how is the monitoring and evaluation system of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher quality, what is only the obstacles that impede the improvement of teacher quality in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study were the Head of the Madrasah Education Section of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province and the Madrasa Supervisors. The place of research was conducted at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province. The method of collecting data using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that: the policy of the Banten Province Ministry of Religion in improving teacher competence is to refer to Law no. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers whose main focus is related to the teacher certification program which includes four competencies, namely pedagogic competence, social competence, professional competence and personality competence. Implementation of the strategic plan of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher quality in collaboration with the Madrasah Head, Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP), Teacher Performance Group (KKG) is used as a medium to socialize programs that will be and are being implemented and involve teachers in training, training and seminar. The supervision and evaluation system of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher competence is by implementing a monitoring and evaluation system that is formative, summative and progress carried out monthly, semiannually and annually. There are two main obstacles faced in implementing existing policies, first, the problem of inadequate budget funds. Second, related to the lack of motivation and internal awareness of teachers to continue to develop their competence.

Abstract

This study aims to: Describe, constraints, and solutions from the Implementation of Facilities and Infrastructure Management in Improving the Quality of Education at MTs Negeri 1 Lebak. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed using qualitative data analysis consisting of: (a) data reduction, (b) data presentation, and (c) drawing conclusions. The research results show that: 1) Planning for facilities and infrastructure at MTs Negeri 1 Lebak, namely coordination meetings, determining the madrasah program, and determining needs. 2) Procurement of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Negeri 1 Lebak, namely carried out by the facilities and infrastructure, then proceed to the Head of TU and known by the Head of Madrasah to submit a proposal to the government 3) Arrangement of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Negeri 1 Lebak, namely proper maintenance by all residents of the madrasa accompanied by a list of persons in charge. 4) The use of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Negeri 1 Lebak, namely scheduling, but the obstacle faced is that the madrasa has 2 separate buildings, making it difficult for the learning process 5) Removal of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Negeri 1 Lebak, which is carried out by means of auctions and grants

Abstract

Consumption describes the activities that people engage in at any given time. Consumption symbolizes one of the indicators to calculate the economy of a region. This study was conducted to see the points between the relationship between GRDP per capita, inflation, and the head of the beneficiary family on household consumption in 34 provinces of Indonesia in 2021. This analysis uses Ordinary Least Square analysis using cross section data with the Stata 15 analysis tool. This test reveals that there are two variables that have a positive and significant relationship with household consumption, namely the head of the beneficiary family and gross regional domestic product per capita. Then the inflation variable has a negative but insignificant relationship with household consumption.
