Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the Problem Based Learning model on students' critical thinking abilities in class V and science learning at Elementary School. The research method used Quasi-Experimental Design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The population is class V of the State Elementary School 24 Southeast Pontianak. The sampling technique is Probability Sampling with the Simple Random Sampling type. The data collection technique used is a measurement technique and the data collection tool is a written test in the form of an essay. Based on data analysis, the average results of the final tests for the experimental class and control class were obtained. The results of hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test obtained sig 0.289 > 0.05 so that Hₒ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. This proves that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning model on students' critical thinking abilities in science learning. Based on the results of effect size obtained 0.417 which is included in the moderate criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model provides a fairly helpful influence on students' critical thinking skills in science learning for class V of Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze effect of using the PBL model assisted by science and science supplement books on cognitive learning outcomes class IV students SDN 39 Pontianak City. The method used experiment the form Quasi-Experimental Design with non-equivalent control group design. The population this study were classes IVA and IVB SDN 39 Pontianak City. The sample for research class IVA with 31 students and class IVB with 32 students. The data collection technique used is measurement technique and the data collection tool is written test the form multiple choice questions. Based data analysis, the average results of final test the experimental class and the average of final test the control class were obtained. The results of hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-test obtained tcount=0.191 with significance level of α=5%, obtained ttable=0.05, which means tcount>ttable, then Ha is accepted. This proves that there is influence of using the PBL model assisted IPAS supplement book. Based the results of the effect size calculation, it is obtained that it is 0.546180, which 69%. Thus, can be concluded the PBL model assisted by science and technology supplement books has positive influence on cognitive learning outcomes class IV students SDN 39 Pontianak City.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to describe how to Improve Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Grade II Elementary School Students through the Problem Based Learning Approach at SDN 016 Bangkinang City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. The subjects in this classroom action research (CAR) are Grade II students of SDN 016 Bangkinang City with a total of 20 students. The results of the study showed that in cycle I, the scores of the students' learning test results obtained an illustration that out of 20 students who were the subjects of the study, there were 16 or 80% who got scores in the poor category, and 4 students or 20% who got scores in the good category. This means that after the application of the problem-based learning (PBL) model, the learning outcomes of grade II students of SDN 016 Bangkinang City in cycle I increased but had not yet reached classical completeness. Therefore, the researcher continued the research in cycle II. The learning outcomes of students obtained in cycle II, namely 20 students who were the subjects of the study, showed that 100% of students achieved completeness with an average score of 84.75. This shows that the application of the problem-based learning model (PBL) with the improvements made after implementing cycle II has increased and has achieved classical completeness. In this case, the problem-based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning on the subject of flat shapes in class II of SDN 016 Bangkinang City.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are a benchmark for the success of a learning activity. Good learning outcomes can make it easier for students to develop their potential in a particular field. This research aims to determine the relationship between student creativity and learning outcomes in room decoration arts specifically for the cosmetology education study program. This research was conducted on Class of 2022 cosmetology students who took a special room decoration arts course. The method used is a survey with a correlation approach and involves a population of 45 students who are taking a special room decoration art course in the even semester of 2024. The sampling technique is the total population and uses a questionnaire with a Likert Scale which was previously tested to calculate validity and reliability, for learning outcomes taken from the final grade of the special room decoration arts course. Data analysis methods use correlation coefficients, determinant coefficients, and simple linear regression. The results of this research show that creativity has a positive relationship with learning outcomes in special room decoration arts courses for cosmetology education students. The correlation value obtained was 0.874, t_count 11.778, significance value = 0.001<0.05, regression equation Y=12.982+0.816X, and determinant coefficient 76.3%. Thus, the higher the student's creativity, the higher the results achieved in learning the art of special room decoration.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the writing literacy of fourth-grade students at SDN Mlatiharjo 02 Semarang in Pancasila Education through the use of sticky boards. The study employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology. Data collection was conducted using observations and tests, and the data were analyzed through comparative descriptive analysis based on the percentage of student learning outcomes. The findings indicate that using sticky boards in Pancasila Education lessons significantly improves students' understanding of the Indonesian Cultural Diversity material. By having teachers and students place various norms on the sticky boards to illustrate the examples, the learning outcomes of the students improved. This improvement is demonstrated by the increased percentage of students meeting the KKTP criteria. Before the intervention, only 15% of students met the KKTP standards with an average score of 77, while 85% did not. After the implementation of the PBL model supported by the sticky board on Indonesian Cultural Diversity, the average score rose to 88, with 100% of the students meeting the standards.

Abstract

Kondisi sekolah PAUD tentunya berbeda dengan kondisi di sekolah SD,SMP,SMA bahkan di Perguruan Tinggi sekalipun, dengan berbagai macam karakteristik anak usia dini di sekolah tentunya akan menguras energi Guru PAUD dalam menghadapinya. Tahap perkembangan anak usia dini pada masa sekolah di sekolah PAUD merupakan langkah awal dalam menuju fase sekolah atau tahap masuk sekolah. Dengan berbagai macam pola tingkah laku anak usia dini yang dihadapai gurunya di sekolah tentunya akan membutuhkan pengelolan emosi atau regulasi emosi yang baik oleh Guru PAUD itu sendiri, jika tidak maka akan menganggu Guru paud tersebut dalam memaksimalkan berbagaimacam tuntutan pekerjaan di sekolah, baik tuntutan administrasi maupun tuntutan pekerjaan yang bersifat operasional. Perilaku prokrastinasi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah regulasi emosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh regulasi emosi Guru PAUD dalam mengurangi prokrastinasi dalam bekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah Guru paud kota padang yang di pilih secara acak berdasarkan Kecamatan yang ada di kota Padang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Prosedur accidental sampling dilakukan dengan menyebarkan intrumen secara daring dalam waktu 2 hari sehingga didapatkan sampel penelitian. Penelitian ini memiliki sampel berjumlah 150 orang Guru PAUD. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Skala Regulasi Emosi yang disusun berdasarkan teori dari Gross dan Jhon. Skala Prokrastinasi Akademik disusun berdasarkan teori dari Mccloskey dan Scielzo. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan nilai F sebesar 6,289 dengan nilai korelasi (R) sebesar -0,195. Maknanya adalah terdapat pengaruh regulasi emosi Guru paud dalam mengurangi prokrastinasi dalam bekerja, dimana semakin rendah regulasi emosi maka semakin tinggi tingkat prokrastinasi akademik pada Guru PAUD. Hasil analisis data lainnya didapatkan nilai uji R square sebesar 0,038. Maknanya adalah regulasi emosi memiliki pengaruh sebesar 3,8% terhadap prokrastinasi. Melalui regulasi emosi, Guru PAUD mampu mengendalikan emosi negatif yang muncul ketika menghadapi tugas yang diberikan yayasan maupun kepala sekolah, sehingga dapat menurunkan tingkat prokrastinasi dalam bekerja.

Abstract

Supaya amanah serta tanggung jawab bisa terpenuhi dengan efektif, operator sekolah wajib mengetahui serta memiliki keterampilan dalam mengelola Data Pokok Pendidikan. Dilakukannya studi ini bertujuan agar dapat diketahui pengaruh daripada penguasaan teknologi, fasilitas, dan kesejahteraan yang akan memberikan dampak kepada kinerja operator di SD Negeri se Kota Solok. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Data yang dipakai asalnya dari data awal yang diperoleh dari kuesioner yang dibagikan ke peserta atau responden yang dalam hal ini operator sekolah. Studi ini melibatkan seluruh operator di SDN se Kota Solok, yang berjumlah 41 orang, yang diambil sampel secara keseluruhan. Maka itu, sampel di studi ini sebanyak 41 orang. Adapun analisis data dilaksanakan dengan memakai uji instrumen, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji hipotesis, serta uji koefisien determinasi. Dari hasil uji yang dilakukan, memperlihatkan bahwasanya variabel Penguasaan Teknologi (X1), Fasilitas (X2) dan Kesejahteraan (X3) secara parsial berdampak positif terhadap Kinerja Operator Sekolah (Y) Dasar Negeri Se Kota Solok. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan koefisien determinasi 0,690, terbukti bahwasanya variabel Penguasaan Teknologi (X1), Fasilitas (X2) dan Kesejahteraan (X3) secara simultan berdampak positif terhadap Kinerja Operator Sekolah (Y).

Abstract

Education for remote indigenous communities in Papua faces complex challenges such as geographical barriers, limited infrastructure, and cultural differences. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to analyze the application of RE Park's social ecology theory in Papua’s education, which views human-environment interaction as the basis for contextual education. Findings indicate that appropriate education for indigenous Papuan communities should integrate local knowledge, cultural values, and ecosystem relationships into the curriculum. This approach not only supports students' practical skills but also strengthens the cultural identity and socio-ecological resilience of communities in the face of environmental changes. Additionally, social ecology-based education can promote social justice and reduce the marginalization of indigenous communities in Papua. This study highlights the importance of a social ecology-based education approach that adapts to the socio-cultural context to enhance inclusiveness and relevance in education for remote indigenous communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze static balance in students of SDN 004 Samarinda Ilir. Static balance is the ability to maintain a stable body position while standing or standing still. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. Determination of the subject of this study using saturated sampling method by involving all grade 2 students at SDN 004 Samarinda Ilir, namely 30 students. Measurement of static balance using the stork stand test. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the ability of static balance in grade 2 students of SDN 004 Samarinda Ilir has a good static balance, namely 70% with an average duration of 20 seconds and there are 30% of students who get a shorter duration with an average of 13 seconds so that it falls into the category of less. So it can be concluded that the ability of static balance in grade 2 students at SDN 004 Samarinda Ilir is in the good category.

Abstract

The development of the era makes technology change so rapidly along with the development of science and technology including the development of the internet and social media in human life. The internet also makes the communication structure faster in interacting between humans. The number of social media applications makes people tend to watch their social media rather than reading newspapers or watching on television. The current phenomenon is that people are more interested in watching short videos on the Tik-Tok social media application. Judging from the objects and results to be achieved, this study can be classified as descriptive research using qualitative methods. Qualitative research methods are a way or method of research that emphasizes analysis or descriptiveness. TikTok, in addition to helping with writing competencies, can also help with listening, speaking and listening competencies, for example, in speaking competencies with TikTok, students can upload videos of poetry readings or lectures. Students will feel proud when the video is liked and gets a lot of comments. Students are very interested if they work in groups and make animations or short videos then they upload or the teacher uploads them on TikTok. The assessment will also be fun because they will compete to get the most likes from viewers or viewers. TikTok, in addition to having a short video display, also has a comment column and a like button. The column and like button can be used as a project assessment tool for students. Students will thus compete to create the best project and share their video links on various social media statuses in order to get the most likes and the best grades.
