Abstract

The rapid development of technology in this global era has a significant impact on the world of education. The demands of the era that continue to develop encourage the education sector to always adapt to technological advances in order to improve the quality of learning. In this case, teachers are expected to be able to create interesting learning experiences in order to compete with the appeal of technology and entertainment outside the classroom. Therefore, the lecture method needs to be reduced, especially in learning that emphasizes process skills and active learning. Teachers must be more creative in utilizing technology, especially learning media, to increase the effectiveness and appeal of learning in schools. This study aims to examine the role of technology in education, with a qualitative approach through literature studies. The results of the study indicate that educational technology has a very important and inseparable role in the learning process. Thus, the development of technology and education complement each other, collaborate, and contribute to the progress of education it self.

Abstract

Inclusive education is a critical component of contemporary educational reforms, emphasizing equitable access and quality learning for all students, including those with special needs. This study explores applying educational management principles in curricula management within inclusive schools in Indonesia. The research uses a qualitative approach to examine the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes involved in inclusive curriculum management. Key findings indicate that effective curriculum management involves systematic planning, teacher capacity building, and stakeholder collaboration, addressing barriers such as limited resources and insufficient training. The results study highlight the importance of adaptable strategies and participatory management to enhance the inclusivity of educational practices. These insights contribute to the development of policies and practices that support equitable and sustainable inclusive education

Abstract

This research aims to examine the use of reading corners in increasing students' reading interest in elementary schools. This type of research is descriptive qualitative which aims to reveal the context of the use of reading corners in fostering students' interest in reading at SD Negeri 1 Baubau. The results of this research show that the availability of a reading corner at SD Negeri 1 Baubau based on the research results shows that it has been implemented well, although there are still shortcomings such as data collection on reading books that have been read by students has not been carried out and the design of the reading corner has not been implemented in classes III and IV. . The Teacher's Role in Implementing and Utilizing Reading Corners. Based on the theory used and field conditions, both from observations and interviews with the homeroom teacher, the teacher has carried out his main duties well, but is hampered by a community environment that has minimal awareness of reading.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of teachers in stimulating reading, writing and counting (calistung) skills in early childhood at RA Mawaddah Palangka Raya. Calistung skills are an important basis in children's education, which supports their readiness for the next level of education. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation and interview methods to analyze the role of teachers as mentors, facilitators, and classroom managers. The results showed that teachers at RA Mawaddah were able to create fun learning through a play while learning approach. Learning media such as pictures, letter blocks, and guidebooks are used to help children recognize letter sounds, write, draw, and count simply. Teachers also provide attention and emotional support so that children feel comfortable and motivated. The effective role of teachers not only helps children master calistung, but also encourages the development of their confidence and interest in learning. This research confirms the importance of teacher innovation and creativity in the calistung learning process to support optimal early childhood development.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine whether there are still students experiencing learning difficulties in solving multiplication word problems within the learning process of the Merdeka Curriculum. This research uses a Descriptive Quantitative method. The data sources for this study are 22 fourth-grade students from State Elementary School 24 Pontianak Tenggara and one class teacher. The data collection instruments used in this research are observation, interviews, and test questions. The results of the study indicate that 8 out of the 22 fourth-grade students did not meet the school's minimum mastery criteria of 75. A total of 8 students (36%) still experience learning difficulties in solving multiplication word problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan sinergis antara filsafat, sains, dan pendidikan dalam mendukung kemajuan peradaban manusia. Pendidikan, sebagai medium holistik, memiliki peran strategis dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai filsafat dengan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK), sehingga menghasilkan generasi yang kritis, reflektif, dan beretika. Dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur dan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana pendidikan dapat menjembatani kecenderungan spesialisasi ilmu yang mengisolasi, serta membangun harmoni lintas disiplin. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis filsafat tidak hanya memperkuat nalar kritis tetapi juga memberikan kerangka etis dalam penerapan teknologi. Aksiologi, sebagai pilar penjaga nilai, memastikan bahwa inovasi sains dan teknologi mendukung keberlanjutan serta kesejahteraan manusia. Dalam konteks global, pendidikan berbasis nilai Islam berwawasan universal turut berperan dalam menghadapi tantangan era Society 5.0 dengan menanamkan moralitas, kolaborasi global, dan pemanfaatan teknologi yang bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi antara filsafat, sains, dan pendidikan untuk menciptakan peradaban yang berkelanjutan dan berbasis nilai-nilai kemanusiaan

Abstract

This study aims to describe the sentence structure in the utterances of schizophrenics through classification and analysis of sentences uttered by schizophrenics. Both severe schizophrenia, semi-quiet schizophrenia and calm schizophrenia. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques simak libat cakap (SLC), recording and note-taking techniques. The research was conducted by listening to conversations between one schizophrenic with fellow sufferers and health workers who handle them. Engage in conversation both actively and receptively with sufferers. In addition, the data analysis used is the Agih method. Data presentation techniques use informal techniques. The results of data analysis of schizophrenia patients have a tendency to utter incomplete sentences which then these incomplete sentences are divided into several types, namely, sequence sentences, exclamation sentences and ellipsis sentences. Schizophrenics also tend to utter incoherent sentences and some other schizophrenics can utter sentences in accordance with Indonesian language rules. The causes of schizophrenia patients experiencing interference when speaking are due to factors (1) thematic structure disorders (2) assembling disorders (3) silence (4) echolalia (5) thought flow disorders

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reading and listening concentration level on students’ ability to recall vocabulary in EFL online classroom based on their learning styles. The research subjects were 142 junior high school students of grade 8 in Kediri Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia that consisted of 45 boys and 97 girls. The participants were asked to read the English vocabulary presented on the power point on the screen and listen to the teacher's explanation regarding the meaning of the words through Google Meet. The participants were divided based on the results of the learning styles survey into three groups, i.e. the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic group. The questionnaire regarding concentration was used to determine the level of concentration in reading and listening during online language learning. The results showed that there are significant differences in the ability to remember English vocabulary between the three groups of learning styles with different level of reading and listening concentration.

Abstract

Digital transformation plays an important role in advancing the world of education in Indonesia, in the transformation has emerged various impacts in teaching and learning activities on students and teachers. In this journal, we will outline some of the materials that explain the important role of digital transformation such as digital literacy that can provide access to increased information, skills needed in the current era. Then in addition to evolving learning, there is also a need for evolution in digital assessment that aims to assess the progress of students. While digital transformation provides many opportunities for educational advancement, there are hurdles that require cohesiveness among users and a better experience. Therefore, in order to obtain credible data, we analyzed various scholarly works relevant to this issue.

Abstract

21st century education emphasizes the development of essential skills to face the challenges and dynamics of the modern world. One of the most important frameworks in education this century is 4C concept, which includes Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration and Communication. One way to train critical thinking skills is by using teaching materials such as encyclopedia books. This research aims to describe the types of Anura in the Tabanio Coastal Forest Area, the content validity, practicality (content, expectations and actual) and effectiveness (expectation and actual) of the Anura order encyclopedia. Research on encyclopedia development uses the Educational Design Research (EDR) research method with a Tessmer formative evaluation design. The research object is an encyclopedia book. The research subjects were 3 experts as validators, 3 students in individual tests, 4 students in small group tests, and 10 students in field tests. There are 8 species found in the Anura order from 4 families. The validity test results of the encyclopedia book have a valid category based on the assessments of the three validators with an average score of 3.58. It can be said that the Anura order encyclopedia book is suitable as an alternative learning resource for training students' critical thinking skills. Pendidikan abad-21 menekankan pengembangan keterampilan yang esensial untuk menghadapi tantangan dan dinamika dunia modern. Salah satu kerangka kerja yang sangat penting dalam pendidikan abad ini adalah konsep 4C, yang mencakup Critical Thinking (Berpikir Kritis), Creativity (Kreativitas), Collaboration (Kolaborasi), dan Communication (Komunikasi). Melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat dilakukan salah satunya menggunakan bahan ajar seperti buku ensiklopedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis Anura di Kawasan Hutan Pantai Tabanio, validitas isi, kepraktisan (isi, harapan dan aktual) dan keefektifan (harapan dan aktual) ensiklopedia ordo Anura. Penelitian pengembangan ensiklopedia menggunakan metode penelitian Educational Design Research (EDR) dengan desain evaluasi formatif Tessmer. Objek penelitian adalah buku ensiklopedia. Subjek penelitian yakni 3 orang ahli sebagai validator, 3 orang mahasiswa pada uji perorangan, 4 orang mahasiswa pada uji kelompok kecil, dan 10 mahasiswa pada uji lapangan. Ordo Anura yang ditemukan sebanyak 8 spesies dari 4 famili. Hasil uji validitas buku ensiklopedia memiliki kategori valid berdasarkan penilaian dari ketiga validator dengan skor rata-rata 3,58. Hal ini dapat dikatakan bahwa buku ensiklopedia ordo Anura layak sebagai salah satu alternatif sumber belajar untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir krtitis mahasiswa.
