Abstract

This study aims to improve teacher work productivity by strengthening school discipline and motivation. A quantitative approach was used in this study, along with correlation and survey methods. The study population was 195 teachers, and a sample of 131 teachers was randomly selected using the proportional random sampling method with standard and homogeneous data distribution. Data were collected through a questionnaire for validity and reliability through expert judgment and empirical tests. The findings of this study indicate that work discipline and teacher productivity have a positive and significant correlation (ry1) of 0.803, with a contribution (r²y1) of 64.5%. Work motivation and teacher productivity also have a positive and significant correlation (ry2) of 0.791, with a contribution (r²y2) of 62.5%. In addition, work discipline and work motivation have a positive and significant relationship (ry12) of 0.852, with a contribution (r²y12) of 72.5% to increasing teacher work productivity. The results of this study provide important implications for the development of managerial policies in schools, which should focus on improving teacher discipline and motivation to encourage work productivity. Schools need to design programs that strengthen both as key factors in improving the quality of education and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of collaborative leadership in shaping professional teachers through supervision activities in madrasahs. The approach used is qualitative with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through several systematic stages to ensure the validity of the findings, namely data condensation, data presentation, verification, and concluding. The study results indicate that collaborative leadership applied in madrasahs encourages the creation of positive, cooperative relationships between leaders and teachers, optimizes teacher involvement in decision-making, and encourages innovation in learning. In addition, this study found that ongoing teacher development programs are essential to maintaining the quality of teaching. These findings contribute to the development of collaborative leadership theory in Islamic education. They can be used as a basis for policy to improve the effectiveness of academic supervision in madrasahs. The implications of this study indicate the importance of implementing collaborative leadership in madrasah management to improve the quality of education and teacher professionalism, as well as providing guidance for policymakers in designing more effective and inclusive supervision programs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of spiritual work motivation in mediating the influence of organizational climate on teacher performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory method. The variables studied include spiritual work motivation, organizational climate, and teacher performance. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 teachers in one of the state madrasahs in Tulungagung, which were selected using random sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using Smart PLS software's Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The study results indicate that organizational climate positively affects teacher performance, which is supported by this finding. In addition, teacher performance also has a positive effect on spiritual work motivation. Furthermore, spiritual work motivation is proven to mediate the positive influence between organizational climate and teacher performance. This finding indicates that good work climate conditions, recognition, and motivation teachers receive can encourage their performance improvement. With a supportive climate, teachers feel more motivated to develop their competencies, thereby improving the quality of their work.

Abstract

This study focuses on developing madrasahs to improve the quality of education by integrating three main aspects: competency-based curriculum development, transformative leadership of madrasah principals, and community empowerment. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques were done through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and verification processes to ensure the validity of the findings. The study results indicate contextual and competency-based curriculum development helps students acquire more applicable skills. Transformative leadership of madrasah principals plays a role in creating an innovative work culture and increasing teacher motivation in the learning process. Meanwhile, community empowerment creates a more supportive and inclusive education ecosystem. Integrating these three strategies forms a more holistic and sustainable madrasah development model. The implications of this study emphasize that madrasahs need to adopt a collaborative approach to improving the quality of education. Madrasah-based education policies must consider the role of madrasah principals as transformative leaders, the relevance of the curriculum to local needs, and community involvement in the education process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze transformational leadership in shaping institutional performance in higher education that is integrated with spiritual values and local wisdom. The approach used is a qualitative case study, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data are analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model thematic analysis technique, which includes data collection, data reduction, and theme arrangement. This process identifies patterns related to transformational leadership, spiritual values, and local wisdom. The analysis results are then used to conclude the influence of these factors on institutional performance. The study's results indicate that applying transformational leadership that integrates cultural and spiritual values can increase the motivation and involvement of lecturers and staff while improving academic performance. This study proves that this approach can encourage increased institutional performance in higher education through five main dimensions: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration, and cultural-spiritual synergy. This study provides implications about the importance of cultural and spiritual contexts in educational leadership practices. Integrating these values creates a harmonious academic environment, strengthens innovation, collaboration, and engagement, and supports the achievement of institutional goals sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the new student admission program at one of the Madrasahs in Cirebon, focusing on the effectiveness of the selection system and its impact on the quality of students accepted. This study uses the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model, providing a comprehensive framework for assessing the new student admission program. Data were collected through structured and unstructured interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The study results indicate that although the new student admission has succeeded in increasing the number of student registrations, the selection is still more focused on quantity than quality. This program is based on the vision of the madrasah, which is to develop students who are religious, intelligent, independent, and have good morals. Still, the selection process has not included in-depth academic and psychological evaluations. Although the infrastructure and socialization of the program are adequate, the quality of students accepted varies, affecting academic standards. This study suggests improvements in the selection process by implementing a more comprehensive assessment of student academic competence and character to improve student quality per the goals of madrasah education.

Abstract

This study examines how cultural intelligence shapes madrasah principals' leadership behaviour in Bengkulu Province in a multicultural educational context. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research explores how cultural intelligence influences decision-making and social interactions in the madrasah environment. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, as well as direct observations and document analysis to ensure a comprehensive understanding of leadership practices. The findings indicate that madrasah principals with high cultural intelligence foster inclusive school environments, enhance stakeholder communication, and develop policies that respect cultural diversity. Unlike previous studies focusing on general leadership models, this research highlights integrating local cultural values as a key factor in effective leadership within religious-based schools. These insights contribute to the literature by demonstrating how cultural intelligence can be systematically applied to improve leadership practices. The study also provides a practical perspective for developing training programs emphasizing cultural adaptability and inclusive decision-making in educational institutions.
