Abstract

Public awareness and ability to read food labels is still very low. A National Consumer Protection Agency survey stated that 6.7% of people in Indonesia pay attention to the completeness of food labels. One of the Messages of Balanced Nutrition is reading food labels. S1 Nutrition Study Program STIK Sint Carolus together with Nutritionists from the Galur Supporting Community Health Center provided counseling to mothers of toddlers on the topic "Let's Check the Coins (Composition and Nutritional Value Information) on Food Packaging" to 20 mothers of toddlers who visited the Posyandu. Counseling participants are given an identity and pretest form to fill out. The first session included material on definitions and food labels, and the second session provided material on how to read composition and nutritional value information. The third session involved practicing reading packaged food and conducting questions and answers and filling in the posttest form. After 3 days of providing material, monitoring and evaluation was carried out via Whatsapp. Based on the results of statistical analysis, 55% of mothers were classified as lacking knowledge during the pretest. However, it increased after nutrition education was carried out to 95% of mothers who were classified as well informed. The results of the Wilcoxon analysis show that there is a difference in knowledge between before and after counseling with p-value = 0.007. The results of monitoring and evaluation from 5 mothers, 100% of mothers had paid attention to food labels on packaging, especially composition and nutritional information. Abstract

SMAN 1 Waru is experiencing rapid development, particularly in this digital era, with its students achieving notable success in sports, science, and arts. However, despite these achievements, the management of such accomplishments remains inadequate, rely-ing on manual systems. Consequently, the collection and recording of student achieve-ment data at SMAN 1 Waru are disorganized and often not up to date. Recognizing this issue, the community service team has developed an information system to manage stu-dent achievement data. This system includes comprehensive training to facilitate the ef-ficient processing of student achievements for both internal and external purposes, such as accreditation. The training session took place on March 28, 2024, at SMAN 1 Waru's computer laboratory and was attended by 35 students, website administrators, and three teachers. The training employed various methods, including lectures, practical exercises, and discussions. All participants demonstrated a clear understanding of the application's usage, as evidenced by their improved pre-test and post-test scores. Statistical analysis using the t-test confirmed the significance of this improvement, indicating that the train-ing effectively enhanced participants' understanding of using the student achievement website. Furthermore, the success of the training is reflected in the records of achieve-ment data inputted by the participants.            Keywords: achievement data; information system; website.

Abstract

Healthy behavior is related to efforts to maintain and improve health. One of the healthy behaviors is eating with a balanced menu. A healthy consumption pattern must be applied to meet daily nutrition. The provision of special education to adolescents is expected to be able to provide knowledge, especially about nutritious food. Activities to provide education about nutritious food and nutritious food categories, Health Education about the benefits of nutritious food, Health Education about the recommendation to consume instant noodles, and Health education about the dangers of consuming excessive amounts of instant noodles to 33 respondents. The method used is the test work before and after the intervention. The delivery of material using the media continued with questions and answers from the presenters. The data results showed that the level of knowledge before the intervention was 15.2% and after the intervention showed an increase of 54.5%. The purpose of providing this education is expected that respondents will not only understand but also be able to apply it in their personal and family habits.Keywords: instant noodles; balanced nutrition; msg Abstrak: Perilaku sehat adalah perilaku yang berkaitan dengan upaya mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kesehatan. Salah satu perilaku sehat adalah makan dengan menu seimbang. Pola konsumsi yang sehat harus diterapkan untuk dapat memenuhi nutrisi sehari-hari. Pemberian edukasi khusus kepada remaja diharapkan mampu memberikan pengetahuan khususnya tentang makanan yang bergizi. Kegiatan pemberian edukasi mengenai makanan bergizi dan kategori makanan bergizi, Pendidikan Kesehatan tentang manfaat makanan bergizi, memberikan Pendidikan Kesehatan tentang anjuran mengonsumsi mie instan, memberikan edukasi Kesehatan tentang bahaya mengonsumsi mie instan dalam jumlah yang berlebih kepada 33 responden. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pengerjaan test sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Penyampaian materi dengan menggunakan media dan dilanjutkan dengan tanya jawab dari pemateri. Hasil data menunjukkan bahwa Tingkat pengetahuan sebelum diberikan intervensi 15,2% dan setelah dilakukan intervensi menunjukan peningkatan sebesar 54,5%. Tujuan dari pemberian edukasi ini diharapkan responden tidak hanya mengerti, tetapi juga dapat menerapkannya dalam kebiasaan pribadi maupun keluarga.Kata kunci: gizi seimbang; mie instan; msg

Abstract

Pejengkolan farmer group is not only a community for exchanging ideas and experiences, but also has various businesses in the form of goat and cattle farming with a profit-sharing system, plant breeding and sales, and savings and loans. Having very good economic potential, however, the Pejengkolan village farmer group still has several obstacles and problems. One of the problems is in terms of management and management of financial reports of the Pe-jengkolan village farmer group. This Community Service aims to provide training in the Ireap application to support the sales management system and financial reporting in the Pejengkolan village farmer group. This Community Service method uses a service learning approach that has three stages, namely the preparation, service and reflection stages. The results of this community service are the level of understanding of partners in utilizing application technology increases, more efficient data search time and a better level of accuracy of sales data reports. Search times are more efficient and the level of accuracy of sales data reports is better.        Keywords: implementation; Ireap; management.  Abstrak: Kelompok tani Pejengkolan tidak hanya sebagai komunitas untuk bertukar pikiran dan pengalaman saja, namun memiliki berbagai usaha berupa peternakkan kambing dan sapi dengan sistem bagi hasil, pembibitan dan penjualan tanaman, serta simpan pinjam. Memiliki potensi ekonomi sangat bagus akan tetapi kelompok tani desa Pejengkolan masih memiliki beberapa kendala dan permasalahan. Salah satu permaslahannya yaitu dalam hal manajemen dan pengelolaan laporan keuangan kelompok tani desa Pejengkolan. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan aplikasi Ireap untuk menunjang sistem manajemen penjualan dan pelaporan keuangan pada kelompok tani desa Pejengkolan. Metode pengabdian Masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan service learning yang memiliki tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, layanan dan refleksi. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah tingkat pemahaman mitra dalam memanfaatkan teknologi aplikasi meningkat, waktu pencarian data yang lebih efisien dan tingkat akurasi Laporan data penjualan lebih baik. Kata kunci: implementasi;ireap; manajemen.

Abstract

The issue of bullying has a severe impact on the mental and physical well-being of the victim, with fatal consequences such as severe depression or death. Parental influence is crucial in preventing bullying. Children tend to mimic their parents' attitudes and behaviours. Positive attitudes, empathy and tolerance from parents can encourage children to adopt these values. Parents who are actively involved and open to effective communication help children develop empathy and feel supported, making them more likely to report or seek help in bullying situations. Parents need to understand the psychological and legal aspects of bullying and school violence prevention to protect their children's well-being. Psychological knowledge helps recognise early signs of trauma and provide emotional support, as well as establishing the values of empathy, tolerance and respect in children. Legal knowledge enables parents to take appropriate action if their child is victimised, liaise with schools and authorities, and ensure anti-bullying policies are implemented. This regulation creates a safe and supportive environment for children to grow. Strengthening parents' understanding and knowledge of bullying prevention and its psychological and legal impacts was done through counselling activities. This counselling presented material on the psychological impact of bullying on children and the legal consequences for perpetrators and omission of bullying activities for both children and schools and parents. The counselling sessions were attended by parents, teachers, and school committees. The counselling participants said that after attending the training, their knowledge about bullying, its impact, and preventive measures improved. The results of the questionnaire before and after attending the counselling showed increased participants' understanding. Keywords: bullying; prevention; violence Abstrak: Perundungan dan kekerasan di sekolah berdampak parah pada perkembangan mental dan emosional anak serta mengganggu proses belajar mengajar. Data FSGI, pada periode Januari-Juli 2023 terdapat 16 kasus perundungan dengan 43 korban. Jumlah ini meningkat menjadi 23 kasus pada periode Januari-September 2023, dengan tingkat perundungan tertinggi terjadi di sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) yang mencapai 50%, bahkan 2 orang meninggal dunia selama periode tersebut SMP Muhammadiyah Kembaran juga menghadapi masalah ini. Untuk mencegah bullying dan kekerasan, diadakan penyuluhan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi guna memberikan pemahaman komprehensif dan praktis. Kegiatan ini melibatkan guru dan orang tua untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman. Hasil penyuluhan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran peserta tentang dampak negatif bullying dan kekerasan serta pentingnya peran setiap orang dalam pencegahannya, yang terbukti dari hasil kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah sesi penyuluhan.Kata kunci: kekerasan; perundungan; pencegahan

Abstract

Research and community service (P2M) are crucial elements that higher education institutions can undertake to address the challenges and problems faced by society. According to the administrative system in higher education institutions, before initiating a P2M program, a series of processes, including the creation of a proper and correct proposal, are required. This proposal will then be submitted to the LPPM (Institute for Research and Community Service) as the coordinator of P2M activities. The quality of the P2M proposal significantly influences the implementation of these activities. Therefore, the quality and quantity of P2M proposal creation can be improved through training. This article will discuss the training conducted with the main objective of enhancing the ability of lecturers to prepare research and community service proposals within the Aceh Polytechnic environment. The training aims to ensure that lecturers can create proposals that meet administrative standards, thereby obtaining approval and support from the LPPM of Aceh Polytechnic. By improving the lecturers' ability to prepare proper and correct proposals, the quality and quantity of research and community service at Aceh Polytechnic will significantly increase.                   Keywords: P2M; three pillars of higher education; LPPM; research proposal  Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (P2M) adalah elemen krusial yang dapat dilakukan perguruan tinggi untuk mengatasi tantangan dan masalah yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat. Berdasarkan sistem administrasi di perguruan tinggi, sebelum dapat memulai program P2M ini maka diperlukan serangkaian proses termasuk pembuatan proposal yang baik dan benar yang nantinya akan diserahkan kepada pihak LPPM selaku koordinator kegiatan P2M. Pembuatan proposal P2M yang berkualitas akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap terlaksananya kegiatan P2M ini, terkait hal tersebut kualitas dan kuantitas pembuatan proposal P2M dapat ditingkatkan dengan dilakukannya pelatihan. Artikel ini akan membahas pelatihan yang dilakukan dengan tujuan utama meningkatkan kemampuan dosen dalam menyusun proposal penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di lingkungan Politeknik Aceh. Pelatihan ini bertujuan memastikan dosen mampu membuat proposal yang memenuhi standar administrasi, sehingga bisa mendapatkan persetujuan dan dukungan dari LPPM Politeknik Aceh. Abstract

Officers' readiness to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through document exchange is a problem in the community. This article discusses how the social engineering of COVID-19 cluster officers and Salawu Health Center officers in Tasikmalaya Regency in receiving and implementing document sterilization cabinet technology to suppress the transmission of the COVID-19 virus through document exchange. The use of ozone and UVC as sterilization media is beneficial but can negatively impact humans in the long term. Therefore education is needed for partners to avoid these negative impacts. This service activity method is partner situation analysis, pre-test, partner education, post-test, and conclusion. The result of this service is that partners have received document sterilization cabinets and UVC as room sterilizers. The results of measuring partner knowledge before and after participating in webinar activities using pre-test and post-test instruments, showed an increase in knowledge, skills and awareness by partners regarding the use of UVC and Ozone on average 83% from the initial condition of not understanding to understanding and skill.    Keywords: covid-19; ozone; uvc; health community center  Abstrak: Kesiapan petugas dalam mencegah penyebaran COVID-19 melalui pertukaran dokumen menjadi masalah di masyarakat. Artikel ini membahas tentang bagaimana rekayasa sosial pada petugas Gugus COVID-19  dan petugas Puskesmas Salawu di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dalam penerima dan implementasi teknologi lemari sterilisasi dokumen guna menekan penularan virus COVID-19 melalui pertukaran dokumen. Penggunaan ozon dan UVC sebagai media sterilisasi sangat efektif, tetapi dapat menghasilkan dampak negatif dalam jangka Panjang, oleh karena itu diperlukan edukasi kepada mitra agar terhindar dari dampak negatif tersebut. Metode pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah analisis situasi mitra, Pre-test, edukasi mitra, post-test dan kesimpulan. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah mitra telah menerima lemari sterilisasi dokumen dan UVC sebagai sterilisasi ruangan. Hasil pengukuran terhadap pengetahuan mitra sebelum dan setelah mengikuti kegiatan webinar menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test, menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kewaspadaan oleh mitra terkait penggunaan UVC dan Ozon rata-rata 83% dari kondisi awal tidak memahami menjadi paham dan terampil.Kata kunci: covid-19; ozone; uvc; puskesmas

Abstract

Sampah merupakan sisa dari produk yang sudah tidak digunakan lagi dari berbagai kegiatan manusia. Namun, sampah masih bisa bernilai ekonomis apabila dapat diolah menjadi produk tertentu. Permasalahan banyaknya sampah di suatu daerah sejalan dengan banyaknya pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk. Berdasarkan peningkatan jumlah penduduk di Kecamatan Balikpapan Timur dalam rentang waktu setahun, maka diperlukan teknologi komposting sederhana yang dapat mengolah sampah organik semaksimal mungkin. Salah satu alternatif penanganan sampah menjadi pupuk kompos dengan metode rolling composter disertai dengan pemilahan. Peralatan pengolahan sampah organik berupa rolling composter ini akan diperkenalkan kepada warga. Melalui kegiatan ini yang dilakukan bermaksud memberikan informasi terkait pengolahan limbah organik dengan menggunakan metode rolling composter. Proses dimulai dengan warga mengumpulkan sampah organik yang dihasilkan pada 1 hari ketempat rolling composter. Setelah EM4 dimasukkan warga akan menutup rolling composter dan memutar menggunakan tuas yang bertujuan untuk mencampurkan sampah secara merata. Hasil dari rolling composter yang siap dipanen akan dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk. Tanaman hias merupakan salah satu media tanaman yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pemberian pupuk.

Abstract

Culinary is a very popular business in Indonesian society. This phenomenon has the consequence that the level of business competition becomes tighter, it is means that culinary businesses are always required to innovate to survive in the long run. The main focus of this community service is providing training to culinary business owners to follow dynamic consumer taste trends. This training aims to provide solutions by creating innovation and knowing the latest consumer interests. The approach used in this training is discussion and mapping of partners' challenges, then knowledge assistance and provision are provided. The results of Google Trends training are generally able to make a real contribution to business owners in achieving consumer loyalty. Apart from that, this training increases partners' knowledge in utilizing the Google Trends application to determine product focus and product marketing locations. In particular, it can foster strong self-confidence in partners in using digital business. Keywords: digital marketing; product trends; culinary; innovation.  Abstrak: Kuliner merupakan sebuah bisnis yang sangat digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Fenomena ini membawa konsekuensi pada tingkat persaingan usaha yang semakin ketat, artinya pelaku usaha kuliner dituntut untuk selalu berinovasi agar dapat bertahan dalam jangka panjang. Fokus utama pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada pemilik usaha kuliner agar dapat mengikuti tren selera konsumen yang dinamis. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi dengan menciptakan inovasi dan mengetahui minat konsumen terkini. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah diskusi dan pemetaan permasalahan mitra, kemudian diberikan pendampingan dan pembekalan pengetahuan. Hasil dari pelatihan Google Trends secara umum mampu memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi pemilik usaha dalam meraih loyalitas konsumen. Selain itu, pelatihan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan digital marketing mitra dalam menentukan fokus produk dan lokasi pemasaran produk. Abstract

The sustainable livelihood assistance program in Rembitan Village aims to improve community welfare based on local wisdom. The activity stages include initial identification of socio-economic and environmental conditions of the village, preparation of activity plans based on community participation, as well as implementation of training and workshops. After the training, intensive mentoring is provided to help people apply new skills in their daily practice. The results achieved include increasing community capacity in sustainable agricultural techniques, developing better quality handicraft and traditional food products, as well as diversifying family income sources. Program evaluation shows a positive response from the community to training and mentoring activities, with indications of an increase in the local economy and awareness of the importance of sustainable natural resource management. This service activity not only succeeded in improving the economic welfare of the Rembitan Village community, but also strengthened local capacity in facing the challenges of sustainable development in the future. Keywords: sustainable livelihoods; local wisdom; well-being; economy  Abstrak: Program pendampingan sustainable livelihood di Desa Rembitan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat berbasis kearifan lokal. Tahapan awal kegiatan meliputi identifikasi kondisi sosial-ekonomi dan lingkungan Desa, penyusunan rencana kegiatan berbasis partisipasi masyarakat, serta implementasi pelatihan dan workshop. Setelah pelatihan, dilakukan pendampingan intensif untuk membantu masyarakat menerapkan keterampilan baru dalam praktiknya sehari-hari. Hasil yang dicapai meliputi peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat dalam teknik pertanian berkelanjutan, pengembangan produk kerajinan tangan dan makanan tradisional dengan kualitas yang lebih baik, serta diversifikasi sumber pendapatan keluarga. Evaluasi program menunjukkan respons yang positif dari masyarakat terhadap kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan, dengan indikasi peningkatan ekonomi lokal dan kesadaran akan pentingnya pengelolaan sumber daya alam secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini tidak hanya berhasil meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Rembitan, tetapi juga memperkuat kapasitas lokal dalam menghadapi tantangan pembangunan berkelanjutan dimasa mendatang. Kata kunci: sustainable livelihood; kearifan lokal; kesejahteraan; ekonomi
