Abstract

The purpose of the Community Service activity conducted by the STAIN Mandailing Natal Arabic Language and Literature lecturer team at Al Munawwar Kindergarten is to enhance students' vocabulary mastery (Mufrodat) through the singing method. This training took place over one day and was attended by 21 students. The method employed is the Eclectic method (Intiqoiyyah). The activity comprised several stages, including opening, educational games, core activities, evaluation, rewards presentation, and closing. The results obtained from this activity indicate an improvement in students' vocabulary mastery (Mufrodat) through the application of the singing method. This is evident from the students' enthusiasm during the learning process and their ability to respond to questions during the evaluation stage.Keyword: singing methods, mufrodat, arabic AbstrakTujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh tim dosen Bahasa dan sastra arab STAIN Mandailing Natal di sekolah TK Al Munawwar adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penguasaan kosa kata (Mufrodat) melalui metode bernyayi. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dalam waktu 1 (satu) hari dan diikuti oleh 21 Siswa. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam proses pelatihan yaitu metode Elektik (Intiqoiyyah). Beberapa tahapan kegiatan yaitu, pembukaan, Game edukatif, kegiatan inti, evaluasi, pemberian reward dan penutup. Sedangkan  hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini yaitu adanya  peningkatan penguasaan kosa kata (Mufrodat) siswa dengan penggunaan metode bernyanyi, hal ini dibuktikan dengan antusias para siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan kemampuan mereka dalam menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan pada tahap Evaluasi.  Keyword: metode bernyayi, mufrodat, bahasa arab

Abstract

Generating quality published articles is one of the lecturers' obligations. This can improve lecturer performance and have an impact on increasing higher education accreditation. However, there are still many lecturer articles published in uncredited journals. Apart from that, there are still many lecturers who do not understand the systematics of writing in accredited national journals. Therefore, the faculty of economics and business, Pekalongan University carries out scientific writing and publication training as well as utilizing the SINTA account to improve lecturer performance. The training was carried out in four stages, namely the initial survey stage, the training material socialization stage, the writing practice stage and utilizing the SINTA account, and the activity evaluation stage. The survey results showed that there was an increase in the percentage of participants who understood the systematics of writing in the SINTA journal from 57% before the training to 91% of the total. Meanwhile, the percentage of participants who were able to utilize the SINTA account also increased from 44% before the training was carried out to 82% after the training was carried out.            Keywords: lecturer performance; reserach; article publication

Abstract

In writing scientific work, it is necessary to use the Reference Manager application to support various forms of assignments in lectures, and student final assignments, now increasingly recommended because it is considered important. In using Mendeley, as one of the applications, it can help in managing scientific references such as books, journals, and other Constitutional references and articles. This can facilitate the preparation of references that are not small in number. Therefore, this training activity was organised face-to-face with the participation of 25 participants. The participants were students of the Faculty of Law and Economics of the afternoon class in semester 4 of the Islamic University of Jakarta. With the Mendeley training, it is hoped that students can smoothly use the application in preparing their final assignments. The method applied in this service is through training. This activity is divided into three stages, namely (a) training preparation, (b) delivery of materials and direct practice of using the Mendeley application, (c) monitoring of activities and (d) training evaluation. Through this activity, it is expected that participants, namely students, can understand the material and have the skills to compile their final project references using the Mendeley application. Keywords: training mendeley; final project; students. Abstrak: Pada Penulisan Karya ilmiah di butuhkan suatu penggunaan yaitu dengan aplikasi Reference Manager untuk mendukung berbagai bentuk tugas pada perkuliahan, dan tugas akhir mahasiswa, kini semakin disarankan karna dianggap penting. Dalam penggunaan Mendeley, sebagai salah satu aplikasi, dapat membantu dalam mengelola referensi ilmiah seperti buku, jurnal, dan referensi UUD serta artikel lainnya. Hal ini dapat memudahkan dalam penyusunan referensi yang jumlahnya tidak sedikit. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pelatihan ini diselenggarakan secara tatap muka dengan partisipasi 25 peserta. Para perserta merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas Hukum dan ekonomi kelas sore pada semester 4 Universitas Islam Jakarta. Dengan adanya pelatihan Mendeley, diharapkan mahasiswa dapat dengan lancar menggunakan aplikasi tersebut dalam penyusunan tugas akhir mereka. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian ini adalah melalui pelatihan. Kegiatan ini terbagi menjadi tiga tahapan, yakni (a) persiapan pelatihan, (b) penyampaian materi dan praktek langsung penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley, (c) Monitoring dari kegiatan dan (d) evaluasi pelatihan. Mahasiswa akan mendapatkan panduan langsung dari narasumber hingga setiap peserta memiliki pemahaman yang cukup dan mampu mengaplikasikan pengetahuan tersebut pada aplikasi Mendeley. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan peserta, yaitu mahasiswa, dapat memahami materi dan memiliki keterampilan untuk menyusun referensi tugas akhir mereka menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley. Kata kunci: pelatihan; tugas akhir; mahasiswa.

Abstract

This activity aims to overcome a problem regarding students' interest in reading at UPTD State Elementary School 014672 Tanjung Alam which is considered still low. This can be identified through the results of the 2022 education report card and also from observations regarding the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS). It is hoped that the literacy movement that has been implemented in schools can help students improve their literacy skills. However, on the contrary, this movement has not been carried out optimally so that literacy skills are still low. Students' literacy skills are low because students' interest in reading is also low. Therefore, teachers in this case should have creativity in accompanying the implementation of school literacy movement activities. One way to increase students' reading comprehension is by implementing a reading challenge method. In this method, students will be invited to go to the reading corner or library to read books they like. The teacher here supervises or monitors students who are reading. Then, 15 minutes before the lesson starts, students report to the teacher the books they have read. For students who read the most, for example in one month, that student is given a reward. Through this activity, it is hoped that students at the school will be able to increase their interest in reading. Keywords: reading challenge method; reading interest; school literacy movement.

Abstract

Berbagai permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan reproduksi remaja menjadi perhatian khusus terutama tiga risiko yang terjadi yaitu seksualitas, penyalahgunaan NAPZA, dan HIV/AIDS. Hal ini membutuhkan upaya yang berkelanjutan untuk memberikan pendidikan yang relevan dan pengetahuan yang komprehensif. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah promosi kesehatan melalui pendidikan teman sebaya (Peer Educator) dengan konsep Juventum Health Advocates (JHA) atau "Advokat Kesehatan Remaja" dimana sekelompok remaja bertugas untuk mempromosikan, mendukung, dan memperjuangkan kesehatan remaja, terutama terkait dengan isu-isu seperti seks pranikah, NAPZA, dan HIV/AIDS. Kegiatan ini berupa pelatihan dengan memfasilitasi peserta dengan materi disertai modul pembelajaran. Remaja yang tergabung dalam JHA ini akan berperan sebagai volunteer yang terjun langsung untuk pro-aktif dengan lingkungan sekitar seperti berperan sebagai konselor dan membagikan ilmu seputar kesehatan reproduksi, seksual berisiko. Pendekatan Peer Education telah membawa perubahan positif dalam pengetahuan, yang nantinya akan berdampak pada perilaku, dan sikap remaja. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil pre test dan post test tentang pengetahuan remaja yang samakin meningkat setelah diberikan materi. Keseluruhan kegiatan memberikan memberikan hasil yang efektif dan berdampak positif baik pada pembangunan karakter remaja dan lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

The use of natural resources for the implementation of development is closely related to the environment and spatial planning. These two things have so far tended to be unplanned and unsustainable, the result of which is a decline in the quality and function of the environment, including the natural resources within it. Environmental problems are increasing day by day, this indicates that environmental policy has not been successful. The community service activity was carried out on Friday 26 July 2024 at the Subak Sibang Kaja Abiansemal Hall. The problem formulation in this report is firstly, What is the form of community synergy to realize sustainable development in environmental management? and secondly, what are the inhibiting factors in realizing sustainable development? The aim of this report is to find out the synergy of society in realizing sustainable development in environmental management and what factors are obstacles in realizing sustainable development. This implementation method uses socialization where implementation is carried out through lectures given by resource persons with the aim of making the community understand the importance of management. environment .  The results of the first community service activities are in the form of synergy which occurs in the form of cooperation between the community and the government in environmental management such as establishing a waste bank and the first inhibiting factors in sustainable development, lack of public awareness, the absence of legal regulations that provide appropriate sanctions. firm and finally the existence of climate change in an area Keywords: environment; improvement; sustainable developmen.

Abstract

the average prevalence of hypertension in indonesia is 31.7%; by 2025, the proportion of hypertensive patients is projected to increase to 24% in developed countries and 80% in developing countries. prevention and monitoring of hypertension can be done through community health centers or the posyandu program. participants providing community service are characterized by staff who supervise people with hypertension, the most common disease. this service is carried out through active lectures and discussions with participants. the activities show that cadres already know about hypertension and know how to prevent complications and how cadres regularly measure blood pressure independently. therefore, there is a need for creative health promotion initiatives and targeting the right people/groups so that better changes can be made in the future.keywords: blood pressure; cadre; hypertension; skills; knowledge.

Abstract

The rapid progress of information and communication technology today can be seen in how easy it is for people to communicate and obtain information, even in the face of limited time and space. Advances in information and communication technology are increasingly being applied to various fields and aspects of daily life to provide efficiency and convenience in handling tasks and work related to humans. One area where many people have benefited from advances in information and communication technology is education. To overcome the problems raised, the general approach that will be used in this activity is to teach computer-based media creation to teachers in elementary schools. The one-day computer-based learning media development training was carried out in a structured, patient and comprehensive manner. In general, all participants were involved in activities with strong and consistent motivation. Training as teachers and principals of certain schools to strengthen learning capacity. Teachers need to convey and minimize the results of this lesson to other teachers.            Keywords: instructional media; technology; training

Abstract

Hessa Perlompongan Village is one of the Law Aware Villages with certain criteria, including regular payment of land and building taxes, low crime rates, and low drug use rates. Apart from that, Hessa Perlompongan Village is a rural area with a typology of agricultural village and industrial village communities. Due to the large potential of Hessa Perlompongan Natural Resources (SDA), it is necessary to increase the capacity of Human Resources (HR) who have the ability Literacy SMART People in the modern era and has high competitiveness in facing industry 5.0.  This research uses qualitative research methods or research methods that emphasize analysis or descriptiveness. Education problems in Hessa Perlompongan Village are very low because people are more likely to choose to work and marry early rather than continue higher education. One of the solutions offered by the PPKO HMPS Pend. Matematika UNA 2024 implementation team is to create a program concept Literacy SMART People (LSP). In this discussion it can be concluded that the aim of Community Empowerment in Hessa Perlompongan Village is to make it happen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Quality Village Education through the LSP Program from PPKO HMPS Pend. Matematika UNA 2024 to transform the human resources of Hessa Perlompongan Village into a community with character and high competitiveness. Keywords: hessa perlompongan; literacy; SDM  Abstrak: Desa Hessa Perlompongan adalah salah satu Desa Sadar Hukum dengan kriteria tertentu, termasuk pembayaran pajak bumi dan bangunan yang teratur, tingkat kriminalitas yang rendah, dan tingkat penggunaan narkoba yang rendah. Selain itu, Desa Hessa Perlompongan adalah wilayah perdesaan dengan tipologi masyarakat desa pertanian dan desa industri. Karena besarnya potensi Sumber Daya Alam (SDA) Hessa Perlompongan, diperlukan peningkatan kapasitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang memiliki kemampuan Literacy SMART People di era modern dan memiliki daya saing yang tinggi dalam menghadapi industri 5.0.  Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode penelitian kualitatif atau metode penelitian yang lebih menekankan analisis atau deskriptif. Masalah pendidikan di Desa Hessa Perlompongan sangat rendah karena masyarakat lebih cenderung memilih bekerja dan menikah dini daripada melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi. Salah satu solusi yang ditawarkan oleh tim pelaksana PPKO HMPS Pend. Matematika UNA 2024 adalah membuat konsep program Literacy SMART People (LSP). Dalam pembahasan ini dapat disimpulkan Tujuan dari Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa Hessa Perlompongan adalah untuk Mewujudkan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Pendidikan Desa Berkualitas melalui Program LSP dari PPKO HMPS Pend. Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) program kemitraan masyarakat ini dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar (SD) Swasta Al-Washliyah 80 Kisaran sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan aspek keterampilan berbahasa siswa, agar keterampilan berbahasa mereka lebih meningkat dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi digital. Tujuan dilakukannya PkM ini adalah untuk menciptakan hasil bahan bacaan yang sesuai dengan usia anak SD dalam bentuk softcopy dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi canva. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengajaran, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa siswa SD lebih tertarik belajar membaca, mendengarkan, berbicara dan menulis yang merupakan aspek keterampilan berbahasa berbasis digital.
