Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a very high level of national pluralism, the turmoil and conflicts that occur as a result of a shift in values ​​are very sensitive. This underlies that humanist pluralist education initiated by Abdurahaman Wahid to overcome the turmoil and conflicts that exist in society. For Gus Dur, pluralist education is a process of transferring knowledge that does not look at the background of students, which aims to make people devoted to their God. Meanwhile, humanist education is a process of guiding and directing students by looking at all the same and aiming at one. Thus humanist pluralist education is a process of transferring knowledge to guide and deliver humans to become whole, independent and free human beings and regardless of background and view all as the same.

Abstract

Moral decadence that occurs in society is a challenge for educational actors and shows that the goals of national education have not been fully achieved, especially in the aspect of noble character for the nation. In the Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, chapter 3 states that the purpose of national education is to develop the potential of students to become human beings who have faith and piety, have noble character, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become citizens. a democratic and responsiblity. To support the realization of national education goals, strengthening character education is carried out in the form of government regulations to revitalize and strengthen the potential and competence of educators, education staff, students, communities and the family environment. Strengthening national character education must also be carried out on non-educational aspects, such as efforts on economic aspects, law, role models, a conducive environment and elaboration with technological developments. In the aspect of education in Indonesia, we have carried out various reinforcements to strengthen the nation's character, including web-based learning, online student supervision, and online exams.

Abstract

Da'wah is a means of broadcasting the religion of Islam that is delivered by da'wah interpreters. Every human being who embraces Islam is obliged to fulfill da'wah. Carrying out da'wah also has an ethic that must be understood by preachers, the delivery of da'wah can be channeled properly if you know the ethics. Preaching with an interesting nature, good and smooth language, gestures that are full of courtesy will also be viewed more comfortably by the object to be addressed in preaching. If the preacher does not bring the material with the right ethics, it will create an uncomfortable atmosphere, and delivery will be considered bad.

Abstract

SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Metro and MAN 1 East Lampung have the same problem, namely the lack of adequate facilities hinders learning activities so that the learning process becomes less conducive. This study aims to find out how the facilities and infrastructure in private and public schools are. This research is a type of field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are that the two schools studied have similarities and differences that occur. In general, the physical form of school buildings has many similarities, for example classrooms, mosque buildings, toilets, sports fields, art rooms, laboratory rooms, computer rooms, library rooms, UKS rooms, OSIS/extracurricular activity rooms, school canteens, and etc. On the other hand, the differences found in the two schools can be seen in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penggunaan media sosial dalam konteks pembelajaran kolaboratif dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti telah menjadi topik yang semakin relevan dan penting dalam era digital saat ini. Media sosial memberikan platform yang memungkinkan siswa dan guru untuk berbagi sumber daya, berdiskusi, dan berkolaborasi dalam pemahaman dan praktik Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti. Media sosial juga memungkinkan penggunaan berbagai sumber daya seperti video, teks, gambar, dan artikel terkait yang dapat memperkaya pembelajaran. Namun, penggunaan media sosial dalam konteks pendidikan juga menimbulkan sejumlah tantangan seperti risiko privasi, masalah keamanan, dan pengawasan yang diperlukan untuk menjaga lingkungan pembelajaran yang aman. Dalam kesimpulannya, penggunaan media sosial dalam pembelajaran kolaboratif mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang nilai-nilai agama dan etika, serta meningkatkan perilaku moral. Namun, penggunaan media sosial perlu diintegrasikan dengan bijak dan dengan perhatian terhadap isu-isu keamanan dan privasi. Abstract

The humanitarian paradigm in Islamic education is a pattern or outlook on human education. In essence, Islamic education views humans as creatures who need to get guidance, in this case, of course, education. Therefore, Islamic education aims to glorify human humanity and is based on the humanity that humans possess. Because human humanity will not be able to develop without educational services. This type of research is library research or literature study, namely research that focuses on literature studies by analyzing existing literature collections related to this research, both from primary and secondary sources. The purpose of this research is to understand the importance of Islamic education in order to realize a complete human being in accordance with the potential possessed both physically and spiritually in order to create a harmonious relationship for each individual with the Creator, humans and the universe. The results of this study indicate that by understanding the humanitarian paradigm in Islamic education, it is hoped that educators can advance Islamic education to the fullest. If there are technical problems, an evaluation can be carried out and if there are problems in the process, psychology and Islamic education counseling can help.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the yellow book learning system, to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the yellow book learning system and to describe the solutions taken to overcome the inhibiting factors in the implementation of the yellow book learning system at Madrasah Aliyah Muallimin UNIVA Medan. This research is field research using descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection in this research used interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis techniques use: data reduction, data visualization, and drawing conclusions/verification. Meanwhile, the data validity test takes the form of source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the research show that the implementation of the yellow book learning system at Madrasah Aliyah Muallimin UNIVA Medan adopts an Islamic boarding school approach with practical, active and applicable methods, especially in learning the Al-Qur'an using the tilawati method. The types of books taught include Tafsir Jalalain, Jawahirul Bukhari, Ibnu'Aqil, Kawakib Duriyah, Jawahirul Balaghah, and Minhajut Thalibin. The learning method used is the bandongan method. Supporting factors include the use of books or yellow books and the high enthusiasm of students in learning. However, delivering the material is a challenge due to the variety of students' different educational backgrounds. The proposed solution involves improving learning methods by including interesting stories, support from parents, and motivation from teachers to make understanding the yellow book easier for students.

Abstract

Learning outcomes between English lecturers vary. This happened because there was neither English book authorized by Quality Assurance Institute nor made by an English Lecturer at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Institut Agama Islam Bakti Negara (IBN) Tegal. There needs to have an English book that could be used by English lecturers together. The product of the research was English for Islamic Education (EIE) books for the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education with Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) Method. The results of the evaluation showed that English for Islamic Education book was effective and it could be used for students and lecturers.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze progressive Islamic education according to Haedar Nashir's thoughts. This research attempts to examine a figure named Haedar Nashir within the Muhammadiyah Organization and his thoughts on progressive Islamic education. This study is examined holistically starting from Haedar Nashir's internal and external background, the development of his thought and his contribution to the progress of the times. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and interviews, especially those that describe and analyze phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions and opinions of individuals and groups. The results of this research conclude that first, Nashir views that Islamic education must be practiced holistically in the midst of a pluralistic society, so that the Muhammadiyah education system is embodied in three lines, general education (schools), madrasas and modern Islamic boarding schools. All three are directed at efforts to empower, liberate and advance society. Second, progressive Islamic education must be achieved through a holistic approach, namely the implementation of continuous education between levels, from kindergarten to higher education in a synergistic and simultaneous manner. Third, a learning orientation that optimizes all student potential, including social-emotional, intellectual, moral, creative and spiritual. Finally, Nashir explained that Islamic education is progressing in line with the pure values of Islam in building human civilization and being a blessing for the universe (ad-Din al-Hadlarah).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to characterize the importance of digital visual learning materials for raising student learning outcomes. The topic of discussion is Islamic religious education courses in the junior high schools in the Sidikalang District, namely SMPN 1 Sidikalang, SMPN 2 Sidikalang, and SMPN 3 Sidikalang, with a research background. This kind of research, which is being conducted from November 2023 to March 2024, is qualitative and uses a descriptive analytical study method. In order to gather factual information from schools, data was first collected through observation techniques. Later, data was collected through interview techniques and documentation studies. The study's findings demonstrate that representative photos, diagrams, and graphs are used in digital visual media for teaching the Islamic faith at three SMPN Sidikalang District locations, LCD or projector is used to operationalize the media. The steps involved in creating digital visual learning materials are needs analysis, planning, design, development, assessment, revision, implementation, long-term use, and ongoing evaluation. Digital visual learning materials have the potential to improve comprehension, jog memory, pique students' interest, and provide a contextual link between the content being taught and real-world experiences.
